Ashlar
$210/week•41 year old non-binary
I'm a 41-year-old non-binary individual who enjoys music, technology, yoga, meditation, martial arts, travel, art, and culture. I work part-time (IT contractor and vocal teacher) and prefer living in a relatively quiet place, but enjoy some music and a reasonable volume. I'm a (outdoor-only) smoker and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also volunteer on the committee of a charity running community events for men's work. My ideal home is clean and peaceful. It's a haven for creativity and self-reflection. I like to cook sometimes, and share a meal with housemates, but am not home all the time. Though I don't own pets, I appreciate animal-friendly spaces.

$300/week•31 year old woman
I love dogs, arts and crafts, browsing local markets, jazz music, and cooking. At home I enjoy a clean, friendly, and respectful space with an easy-going vibe, where there’s a nice balance of social time and quiet space. I have a senior bull terrier, Lilo (10.5F), who is housetrained, well-behaved, and quiet. She loves cuddling on the couch and soft pillows.

Teg
$400/week•30 year old non-binary
G’day, my name is Teg. I am queer, AuDHD and a gentle creature looking for a spacious studio/granny flat or to team up with 1 other gentle femme/nonbinary/trans/woman to start a home. Preferably someone who is familiar with neurodivergence. No men pls. I work full-time as a mental health/disability support worker. I am an artist and musician with a slow peaceful pace at home. I have a beautiful partner who has 2 kiddies* and 1 loveable anxious border collie dog lady. My partner and our border collie come stay one week (mostly) every fortnight, so my new home will need to accommodate this. (No other dogs or cats - sorry legends) I go stay with the kids and my partner a few nights on the fortnight roster, so I do come and go quite a bit. *The kiddies won’t be living with me, my partner has her own home. When I am home, you will find me mostly in my studio writing, making art, sitting quietly in the sun, resting, having a boog to some tunes. I like listening to music when I cook dinner. I am looking for a nature surrounded, light filled home that is not a party or community hub. Don’t get be wrong, I LOVE a good party and good hang. However, having a high-social home is not something I can tolerate and need a more predictable, peaceful environment. I am looking for a new rental, as I require 2 rooms - 1 is for my studio, and 1 is for me. I also have quite a lot of furniture :) I do prefer living alone, and have lived alone for many years after house-shares in my early 20’s. However, from recognising the beauty from another beings presence in the home and rising rental costs, I am open to living with the right person who shares similar values in the home or wants a similar thing to what I am describing (: I communicate as openly and effectively as I can and really do appreciate this in others as this is something I strongly value. I have shared property with owners for many years in their studios or granny flats and have high notes of recommendation here. I have also paid up to $400 a week consistently for almost 3 years.
