Hey guys, I am a professional musician and university tutor looking for a place to stay in the great city of Melbourne! Fear not if noise is an issue for you as I will not be practicing 24/7 at home. I will be practicing at another place for most of the time. I am a friendly and considerate person and enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. I understand everyone's need for space and downtime, as I am big on those but that doesn't stop me from having a late night chat over cheese and wine. I love cooking and would be open to sharing my latest cuisine explorations with you anytime. I do make a mean sangria and I don't mind the occasional ale in sun. I like reading, gardening, watching sci fi niche films and indulging in fancy skincare. Since I am adopting a more minimalist lifestyle, I am a clean and organised person. I have a secure flow of income and I will always pay bills and rent on time. I also come with a car, so any I don't mind taking a few extra passengers for grocery errands or late night dessert runs ;) I am looking forward to my new journey in Melbourne and hope to meet some amazing people along the way!!

Hi, My friend Alicia and I are currently staying and working in Melbourne, however our time in the lovely place we've had the chance to call home for the past six weeks, is almost up. We are two full-time baristas on the hunt for a cosy in-between home while we search for more permanent housing. We are friendly, sociable while also enjoying our downtime, and are very respectful of our living space. We are quite flexible with lengths of stay and living arrangements so open to all kinds of options :)

Hey! I am from Vancouver, Canada. I moved to Melbourne when I was 18 and have lived here in between all of my travels. I am very sociable and love to meet new people and learn new things. I am very easy going and easy to get along with. I am a very clean and tidy person to live with. I enjoy having friends over for dinner and drinks but also enjoy having time to myself at home. I am looking for a place with a decent sized kitchen and entertaining area (big outdoor area/courtyard/lawn would be amazing!) I’d preferably like my own bathroom (with a bathtub). I am a yoga teacher and will be studying one day a week away from home. Aside from that I mostly work night shift. I only have furniture for my bedroom so I am seeking a furnished apartment or teaming up with someone who has furniture. If I sound like someone you could live with then let me know, I’m looking to move out into a new place at the end of the month! I am also happy to be the name on the lease.
Hi, I'm Hannes, a 32 year old digital artist from Germany. Since last week I'm working at Method Studios on St. Kilda Road (formerly known as Iloura) - a studio for movies special effects - as a 2D compositor. I'm planning to stay for at least 6 months in Melbourne and am therefore looking for a nice place to live. I'm easy going, but neat and clean. Well, I guess everyone would tell that about themselves. :) But in my case it's true, I promise. And I solemnly vow that I'm able to pay on time and without any hassle.
Hello All, I am a student at the University of Melbourne studying physiology and marine biology. I absolutely love the outdoors and lead a relatively healthy lifestyle, I am clean and mostly busy during the week. Looking for somewhere to call home until I finish uni. I also have a burmese cat, Willis, currently he is staying with a friend, however, I would like to take him back so if you would consider him let me know :).
British working professional looking for a room. Easy going, sociable, clean flatmate! Looking for short term rent with possibility to extend! Moving as finding it difficult to secure a rental for my boyfriend, dog and I. Don't worry they'll be staying with his parents!
SHORT VERSION: Final year masters student looking for a place closer to Melb Uni. Extroverted but will leave you in peace, does not want a 'party house' but does like a social house. I am well house trained. I did save a heap before returning to study to avoid living like a poor uni student. EXTENDED VERSION: Currently a masters student at University of Melbourne, 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo when time permits. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets but if you have any I'll love them as they were my own. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I'm often guilty of putting the books down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron, bedroom furniture etc. I don't need to bring everything with me though. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car, kayak and mountain bike so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential, the kayak can stay behind and live with friends kayaks if needed. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped but I will ignore this for the right housemates! Need to move ASAP!

Hi potential housemate, I'm an architect - I work weekdays. Weekends I chill or take off somewhere memorable. Clean, Courteous/considerate, kind, compassionate... Flexible depending... Good quality food is life. Quote mum: "Knowledge (education) is power". Quote dad: "The harder you work the luckier you get". I would like a buddy who; - knows how to use focus pads... - tai chi/Kung fu/boxing/martial arts... - knows good food... - has an interesting job/likes their job/doesn't hate their life bc of their job - likes good music, travel, plans & planes - a singer (female) or Plays an instrument - generally cool without thinking/or just a laugh - Joyful, happy, funny &/or quirky -doctor, lawyer, psychologist, teacher, accountant, developer, manager, design. Will happily settle for something else - if the shoe fits... Easy going, so hit it me up, now looking for a good match/room/house/home, 👌✌️
I'm a clean and tidy person with a bubbly personality who loves the occasional beverage. Happy to have chats and go out with housemates when the mood strikes, but also happy to respect other people's space, lay low and chill out. Generally like to get out of the house and catch up with friends (won't say no to a brunch date) when I'm not working, but also don't mind staying in for a Netflix sesh. Currently working in hospitality but have graduated with a communications degree so am looking to crack into the media and communications industry sometime in the near future.
Express of Interest - MID APRIL 2018 Hi people! I'm Natalia, early 30's from Chile, and I'm looking for my next (and hopefully last!) place to stay for at least 6 months, or maybe more. Specifically looking around Prahran, Balaclava, St Kilda East, Windsor, or close to my job, South Melbourne, Richmond, South Yarra, Albert Park, or surroundings. **NOT LOOKING IN THE NORTHERN SUBURBS** I'm a chilled and easygoing girl, studying Project Management, and working in admin close to the city, very clean and tidy (I reeeeally appreciate cleanliness), super respectful, and looking for a place where I feel "at home". I've worked and lived in NZ, Chile and USA, and have shared apts before, so I know how it works ;) ABOUT ME: I have a pretty active life, I have a boyfriend so I stay at his place some nights, I like going out, practising yoga, listening to live music, go for drinks, or picnics in the park, dancing lover, dog lover, and I'm happy to be friends with my housemates, if that flows naturally...I enjoy watching movies, sharing a bottle of wine or a meal, I'm 420 friendly, but also really appreciate the quietness during week nights. I'm looking to have a furnished private room, and don't mind to share the house/flat with two or three more. Not more than 3 tho, I've had enough sharing with more!! lol Willing to pay between $600 and $700 a month. Need to have easy access to public transportation!! If you're looking for someone like me, send me a msg! Thanks! :)
Hello, My name is Deborah. I am a bubbly, fun and easy going 41 yr old single woman. I am self-employed whilst studying part-time. I love the beach and try to get to there as much as I can in my downtime. Love to cook and enjoy a good movie and getting to the gym when I can. I am also very tidy, considerate and have no pets. I am also interested in trading cooking and cleaning etc for cheaper / or rent free as that is what I am doing at the moment, if that is something anyone would like to consider.
I'm 28, from the UK, I've been in Melbourne nearly 2 months and I have just started looking for work (living off savings at the moment so paying rent won't be a problem even if I'm not working). Back home I worked in student support within a university so I'm trying to find something similar/office admin/9-5. I did Graphic Design at uni and use it for my own personal projects. I love travelling (this is my second time in Australia), reading, seeing movies and keeping up to date with Grey's Anatomy. I like somewhere I can get good food, coffee, gin or wine and enjoy meeting new people and spending time with friends.
Open and honest person. Very sociable, banter on tap but do love some quiet myself and respectful of others space. Sprinkle in a pinch of OCD means I’m tidy and orderly buty won’t throw a fit if the cutlery draw is a pic’n’mix. Generally clapped so you’ll always feel Vogue. Working part time at the moment. Pushing to bury myself into full time work as I’m quite money minded. Looking for a place where I can cement my foundations, construct friendships and ultimately build a life. Most importantly a place I can call home.
I’m Daniel - full-time working professional seeking long-term accommodation in the St Kilda area. I work Monday to Friday, usual business hours, and stop by the gym on my way home from work in the evenings. I’m active on the weekend, either at the gym, in the outdoors or trying new cafes/restaurants/bars. I’ve lived in sharehouses before and know how to be a tidy, respectful and considerate housemate. Look forward to meeting you
