My name is Jake Dunell and I'm looking for a room to move into. I'm looking for a primary teaching position at the moment and am looking to move in towards the end of January. I am really into sport and fitness. I live a quiet lifestyle and enjoy keeping fit and active. I'm not into partying and am a very neat and tidy person. I enjoy chatting about sport mainly footy, cricket and tennis.
I am a Audio Production student in SAE, I'm currently studying in SAE Byron Bay campus. I will transfer to Melbourne for the next school year, starting on the 4th of February. I need a room downtown by the start of February, but I can be there before if needed. I will be Studying or Working most of my time, so I won't be home most of the day. I'm a neat, quiet, respectful housemate. I don't party often. Maybe once or twice a month. Other than studying I like to travel, make music, and take pictures. I think Melbourne is the capital of music at the moment and I really want to explore its nightlife, and music & arts scene.
I'm a working holiday worker and at the same time, am a student. I'll try my best to study hard and work so I can go to Uni next year. And I'm very bright, tidy and calm person, so won't bother others at all as long as if others keep their repect for the others
Lovely German, in Australia since Oct'17. Very clean and tidy, socialising but also respecting everyone's own space, not taking any sort of drugs except the occasional drink or two. People say I'm having a positive vibe and I love creating warm atmospheres. Happy to share food as long as it's not getting abused. Mature mind but also a lot of fun. Animal lover - plant eater - non judgemental.
I'm Ben, I 'm 29 and work full-time as a research engineer in an aerospace company, working 9-5 hours. I enjoy playing basketball, watching movies and having a social beer, wine and a chat. I like running to stay fit. I like the arts and live music and used to play violin in an orchestra (but not very well). I like the summer months and going to the beach. I also spend lots of time reading in cafes. I am considerate of everyone's space and like to keep the house neat so that everything is usable when it's needed by anyone. I'm fairly easy-going and can fit in to whatever arrangement is in place. I guess I am looking for people who are respectful of space and property and keep the house clean. Also, I like social people who don't mind an occasional catch-up drink or meal. No special food requirements except chocolate and coffee. I prefer to organise my own food most days but I like communal cooking as well. I have some furniture and white goods but I will be selling or storing it elsewhere if it's not needed. I have a couch, a small/medium fridge, a washing machine and a microwave.
I'm a working professional with the worlds cutest and best behaved groodle. He's house trained/completely non shedding/hypoallergenic. I live a fairly regimented life with work, gym, dog walks, etc. I like to go to dog beaches or walks on weekends and enjoy the occasional dinner party or wine and cheese night. I have a very introverted side and sometimes retreat to my own room for quiet time. Other times I'm happy to hang out and socialize so it would be great to have a roommate that understands the balance of both. I love to cook and am happy to share meals if that's of interest. Otherwise, I'll meal prep once a week. I'm originally from Canada and do prefer a shoes off household. There's something about tracking everything from the outside into a home that I can't quite adjust to. Outside of that, I'm respectful of other peoples needs and requirements.
Allo! I am moving to Melbourne at the start of 2019 as I’ll be studying an Advanced Diploma of Music Industry Full-time in Southbank from February onwards. Originally from Adelaide, currently residing in the Gold Coast. I am pretty easy going, sociable and open minded. I enjoy meeting new people, going out, and travelling, but also appreciate my alone time to recharge. I aim to eventually get a part time or casual job on the side of my studies. I love anything to do with music, food, alcohol or exploring new places. I am looking for somewhere clean, simple and interchangeable, with my own room, that has at least a bed to sleep on and somewhere to put my clothes & items. I am flexible with sharing a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and common areas. I don’t mind living with a few people but would prefer not to live in a big share house with 5 or more people as I find this can be quite overwhelming. I also like to cook, listen to a wide range of music, learn to play an instrument, or watch TV. I also have a Car, so some sort of car park is necessary. I am neat, tidy, and respectful of my surroundings and other people’s belongings. I can be quiet and chill, or fun and loud, depending on the occasion and the people I’m with.
Returning to Australia after 5.5 yrs in Europe studying. I'm food obsessed (Masters in Gastronomy) heading towards a PhD in Food Anthropology Between Masters degrees I will be looking for part time work, publishing research, and catching up with family, friends, and my old haunts and maybe even some new ones
I’m from Perth and am relocating to Melbourne in January. I work full time as a Store Manager with Coles and am transferring over with them. I enjoy going out for dinner and just getting out and about when I’m not at work. When I’m home I like to cook and just relax. I’m really easy going and am looking forward to meeting some new people during this process. I’m looking for a place to stay for 2 months while I look for my own place. I’m really hoping to organise something well in advance of me travelling so I lock down my plans before heading over.
The apartment is in a great spot in Middle Park. It's a quiet tree-lined street, in-between the beach (450m) and Albert Park lake. Less than a 5min walk to shops and light rail into the city (~15mins on the tram). The apartment will be fully furnished, except for the bedroom.

Hi, I am an experienced business technology professional living in Brisbane - I will be traveling to Melbourne for a 3 month work contract, commencing early in January 2019. I am a quiet, easy going and respectful person and have a family in Brisbane - I enjoy most sports and outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, cycling, swimming, etc. I am health conscious (non-smoker) and enjoy animals, so pets are no problem. Ideally I'm initially looking for a short 3 month rental in the Port Melbourne, Albert Park to St. Kilda vicinity and across to South Melbourne / South Yarra. Please get in touch if you have a furnished room becoming available in early January. Thanks, Andrew
I'm an Irish male moving to Melbourne in January 2019 looking for somewhere to live. I work in Recruitment, and have a job lined up in the CBD starting in February (8-6 M-F). I'm a clean & tidy housemate, who has been lucky enough to have made some best friends out of previously-unknown housemates down through the years. I'm looking forward to discovering Melbourne - food, coffee, a few drinks - on the weekends, and keep active during weekday evenings. I'm into sports & music, and go to concerts regularly. I also play the guitar (quietly!!). I'm into the gym and keeping fit, and follow sports like soccer & rugby. I haven't decided my AFL team of choice yet, so open to suggestions here! Dogs are a big plus.... I probably prefer them to humans! This is a long-term move for me, so ideally looking for a place that I can call a home, and live comfortably. I arrive at the end of January, and can move in from the start of February.
