I work full time Monday to Friday as a Food Rescue Driver for OzHarvest (office based in Port Melbourne)... so super keen to live really close to work because I drive most of the day I'm trying to limit driving lots outside of this time) :-) Currently living in studio room (airbnb) in Port Melbourne. Would prefer close by (on street within shortish walking distance) or off street parking. I would prefer not to have to pay for internet as I have stacks of data on my phone and my Mac has never been able to connect to WIFI for some reason. I have a good rental track record from share situations, living alone as well as owning my own home and being a semi-professional house sitter since end of 2017 just before I moved from Adelaide. Happy to provide references and be included on a lease. Have lived on my own a fair bit but am now keen to move for financial savings and ready to be in company of others again. I am quiet, clean, tidy, love cooking and chat over a meal together. I love reading, walking, market going, mosaicing, movie watcher, and happy to contribute towards looking after a garden or veggie patch. I am a pescatarian but am not anti anything as far as other people's choice of food - I just try to eat as healthy as possible and am looking forward to being able to cook in a proper kitchen again (currently living out of a bar fridge, microwave, toaster machine) I don't smoke, and don't want to live with smokers. I enjoy a nice glass of wine once in a blue moon over a meal but am not a party girl or come home drunk every weekend type of person. I am more likely to go out to meet up with friends. Love people celebrating and enjoying being and bringing friends/family home but don't want to live in a constant party house. If it's a home with space to have people over for a meal I would do that every now and then and am more than happy if my housemates like having friends over for dinner or just hang out together etc. I believe I look out for and care for people I have lived with in the past and open to sometimes do things together but also totally respect the need for space and privacy to have a good living/home environment. I am very allergic (constant hayfever) to cats but love dogs from being a bit of a part time professional housesitter since moving here to Melbourne in February 2018 I have gone between housesitting and living in airbnb's.... but looking forward to finding a new home sharing with other people. Any questions, just ask :-)
29yo US expat seeking 6month housing (with potential to extend) starting in 20th August. I like to keep the common areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom) fairly clean. Fairly active lifestyle, waitress, and don't mind having brunch/social nights with my roomies when we are free (if not, thats fine too!). Nonsmoker, allergy to cats, but fine with dogs. Must be near tram/train stops since I take public transportation
A Taiwanese who just started a 3-month job as a designer in Melbourne so is looking for a FURNISHED room close to the city from August to November. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a luggage of clothes, books, frisbees and a lamp • Fluent in English and Mandarin • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman who looks like a teenager Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day on weekends. I also like to watch TV in the living room and greet the housemates (might be more frequent if there's no table in my room). My moving date is flexible as I am now staying with relatives until I find the right place.
I'm a charity sector professional who loves reading, travel and doing good for the world. Looking to start a new chapter, meet new people and move closer to the city.
I'm a health professional moving closer to the city for work. Always been a Melbourne boy and come from a big loud Italian family, so don't mind sharing a meal and some laughs, but also enjoy my own company. I'm very much into a health and wellness way of living, so not looking for a party house. I eat strictly gluten free and a eat mostly animals - in case you're a vego. When I get back from work, I head to the gym, read, cook or crash on the couch from exhaustion and watch something mind numbing. When I have the time, I love the beach, going hiking, bouldering and playing billiards. Looking for a relaxed place with similar people :)
Hey I’m Matt. I’m 29 originally from Perth. I’m a Warehouse Manager. I’m very easy going I enjoy sports, going to the gym, chilling out and socializing but also very respectful of privacy and alone time. I’m moving down to Melbourne from Sydney for work in the first week of September and looking for a place in or close to Port Melbourne.
I am currently searching for short to medium term accommodation due to a change in circumstances. I am a 33 year old male originally from Scotland working full time as an engineer in Melbourne. The role usually requires long working hours. I enjoy keeping active in my spare time playing football, and going to the gym. I also enjoy downtime to relax with a book or a movie.
Hi, I'm Fraser. I'm looking for a new home as I'm moving to a new full-time job at Footlocker in the CBD. I love sport and am currently training for athletics. Between work and training, I'm not home a lot, but when I am I like to be out of my room in open spaces. Always happy to have a chat or to sit in silence while we do our own thing. I'm clean and tidy, always do my dishes and take out bins and like to have things organised. I also have a car. In my spare time between running around everywhere, I like to play video games, read and play board games with anyone that's up for the challenge. Ideally, I would have room in my room for my sneaker shelves but not necessary. I'm after a friendly home to share with people near a train station or the city itself.
We are Lilli and Lilly two very open minded 18 years old girls from Germany and really excited for our working holiday in Australia. We’re not a couple couple but a very uncomplicated best friend couple. We want to help keeping the flat clean, cook sometimes, go grocery shopping etc - everything you need as a flatmate. We love pets, doing sports (hockey and tennis), getting to know new people/ cultures and going out (as much as relaxing at home). All we want is having a great time in Melbourne and a safe, comfy and friendly environment! It would also be nice to have some same aged people around but as I already said : We’re open minded :)
