Hi, we are Anthony and Bethany, a couple from the UK. We are looking for a private room to rent short term for roughly 2-3 weeks from the 11th August until the 31st August before we relocate to Brisbane. (Dates slightly flexible). Ideally a fully furnished room would be perfect, however as long as the room has at least a bed & mattress we would be fine! Anthony is 27 and works in construction. Bethany is 24 and is working in admin. We both work full time so are out all day Monday - Friday. We enjoy the gym after work through the week and on a weekend we enjoy going for food, a couple of drinks and sightseeing! We would consider ourselves quiet, clean and respectful flatmates, who are very friendly and up for a chat but also like keeping ourselves to ourselves generally through the week after work. Please give us a message if you think you have a room suitable, we look forward to hearing from you. :)
Hello. I'm Dan, a teacher living in Sydney and originally from the UK. I'm searching for a furnished room in a friendly, clean and modern shared flat/house, to move end of September. I'm sociable and it would be good to get to know new folk :) I like to cook and happy to share meals if people want that, or just leave people jealous if they don't ;) For fun, I like to swim, walk, try to dance salsa, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. Love cooking, eating, travelling, good movies, and the occasional good wine or belgian beer. I've never surfed or dived, both of which I'd like to try sometime, as well as climbing.

UPDATE: I've found somewhere!! If anything changes I'll update here.... thanks everyone for all your messages :) Hey guys, I'm an easy going very sociable outgoing and friendly kiwi chick who's been living in Australia since 2008. I've been lucky enough to be housesitting since April but now need to find a place to call home. I used to have a lease on my own but this time I'm keen to get a flatmate, I'd prefer to live in a two bedroom place but would potentially consider 3 but no more than that! I'd rather not live with couples as well. I like to live with like minded friendly EASY GOING people. By easy going I mean not a controlling nutter!!! Someone who is an adult and can clean up after themselves but not a bossy nazi (haha). I've been housesharing for years so I like to think I'm pretty good at it these days :). I love to travel, go for weekends away, love hiking and going on adventures, enjoy snowboarding and am partial to a good glass of wine! I work full time in Medical Devices (secret science nerd). My preference is for north side as I've always lived and worked this side of the bridge (I've lived in Manly, Milsons Point and Cammeray and loved them all) but would also consider Bondi Beach. I need a parking spot because having no parking stresses me out! If you have a room available or are looking to team up for a lease (I have good references) get in touch! :) Samantha
I'm pretty easy going but a teensy bit of a neat-freak. Work keeps me quite busy so I'm not always around but I enjoy a good laugh in my downtime.

Looking for a place close to The Rocks with nearby bus stops/train stations. (Preferably max. 30 mins by commute) I am outgoing and easy to get along with. I will be moving in Sydney by end of August to start a new job.
Creative, social & extroverted. Like to play the guitar, cook & read. Other passions? craft beer, astronomy, art & philosophy. Prior to Aus, I lived in UAE, USA, Spain & India and I've lived in multi-cultural share houses and understand the dynamics of living in share homes. I worked with EY for around 4 years before moving to Aus to study at Uni. Currently, I work for Deloitte in the Sydney CBD. I'm 28 and looking to live in a home with other social, respectful and mature individuals in their mid to late 20's. I'm looking for a large room, preferably furnished. Location is everything, the house needs to have good public transport connectivity. Non-smoking household preferred. I enjoy cooking and it would be nice to have a good kitchen where we can share a chat and exchange some culinary tips. Personally, I'm social, respectful and clean. I like to host social dinners every once in a while but I'm not a party person and enjoy keeping a balance between fun and work. I spend considerable time reading & studying music, and I will be doing long hours at work during the week. As much as I like to be social I respect others privacy and need for space.
