I’m an easy going person looking for a short term stay, rent will always be paid and the bond will be there upon moving in via bond application including the 1 months rent I work casual and am very quiet, non smoker or drinker. Good references
**I HAVE A DOG - PLEASE NO MESSAGES IF YOU WILL DECLINE DUE TO PETS** Hey future flatmates! My name is Kiera and I’ve been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I work full time in business and finance and LOVE my job. It keeps me quite busy throughout the week so I’m often out early and back a little later in the evenings, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! In my spare time I’m often trying to get to the gym or taking my dog for a play date. As for weekends I generally out and about either watching or playing football, having drinks with friends or trying to get out of Melbourne for a weekend getaway! Ultimately looking for a place with a nice yard for my dog and I to call and for housemates that are respectful, reasonably clean and want to be mates..not just strangers living in the same home. If I sound like a good fit, please send me a message!
Hi guys! My name is Jess. I am starting a new full time job at Box Hill Hospital this February and I am looking for a rental with a flexible duration of lease preferably close to the hospital. I will be working a lot of shift work so you might not see me very much. I’ve lived in NSW for the past 7 years and I am a very tidy, thoughtful and friendly house mate. I’ve come back to VIC to be closer to family and I will probably spend a fair amount of time either at home with family or visiting my partner back in NSW (or asleep due to the shift work). I am a non-smoker. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks, Jess!
Hi all, My name is Ashley, I am a 28 year old counsellor doing my Master of Professional Psychology part time. I am looking for 2 friendly people to live with in a sharehouse long-term. I am tidy and easy to get along with, but also enjoy my own space and respect other's privacy. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace, but also have a good chat and share the odd glass of wine or meal with housemates. I enjoy running, catching up with family and friends, true crime podcasts, Outlander and baking. Ash:)
Hey, I'm Kate, I'm new to Melbourne, moved from Perth this year. I'm finishing my post grad in Exercise physiology at Deakin Uni. I also work 3 days a week at a casual job so keep quite busy. I'm very clean and considerate to live with, mature and generally quite and aren't looking for a party house, however enjoy a chat at the end of the day with my housemates. In my down time I enjoy keeping fit, getting out and about to explore Melbourne, cooking and catching up with friends. From time to time I enjoy sharing a meal and having a few drinks with my housemates. Looking for a home I can feel comfortable in. Hope to hear from you.
I'm a self-employed gardener, running my own business. I have many interests and do a number of activities/sport during the week. Happy to hang out with others and also happy to be by myself. I like to dance, sing, read, play boardgames and generally have fun. Not a big party animal. Love cats and dogs. Can help get rid of most spiders (after initially freaking out). Love puns. I'm looking for a private room in a share house full of nice, friendly people. Hopefully it will have a garden and parking too. Message me if you want to know anything else :)
Hey ! I'm a 23 year old guy looking to move into a room ASAP . I'd describe myself as a super laid back person who's really accommodating with roommates. Completed a masters in Accounting from Deakin and currently looking for a job. My interests include anything soccer related from playing Fifa to actually getting out there and playing the sport with friends or competitions. I'm a decent cook if that helps and really enjoy my old school rock and hip-hop. I enjoy beers over the weekend and would be open to just laying back and socializing with roommates !
I am a student, studying at Deakin. Doing my Masters. Social and outgoing but also happy to keep to myself . - Very clean and tidy - Generally organised when it comes to livelihood management and day to day responsibilities. My friends and I are looking for whole property or two rooms in a shared apartment.
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
The property is a spacious home, there are two separate living and dining areas, a large garden, family kitchen and a kitchenette area. There are two bathrooms and three toilets. All the bedrooms have wardrobes. Close to public transport, walking distance to train, bus and trams links. There are nearby shops, a gym close by and within a short driving distance to most Melbourne universities. Bedrooms can be furnished or unfurnished, prices change depending on preference. A furnished room would include a single bed, bedside table, desk and desk chair. The rest of the house is furnished including outdoor seats and table. There is also off street parking. The photos aren’t up to date. The furniture is in the process of being updated. The photos are just to give an idea of the space available.
Hey everyone! I'm a French girl who's just moved back to Melbourne. Though I'm on a working holiday visa, I don't plan on going interstate: Melbourne is my one and only Australian home. That's why I'm looking for a nice long-term stay. I don't have much criteria: It needs to be a walkable distance from a train station on the Belgrave or Lilydale line, as I don't own a car, and I want my boyfriend to come over a few times. I don't want to share my room as I love my privacy, but I really don't mind if we share a bathroom. For the moment, I am unemployed, but my parents will support me until I have a decent wage, so you won't have to worry, I'll always pay my rent on time! I'm trying to find a job as a translator. I'm quite shy and love some time alone, however I'll always appreciate a nice convo about anything, around a drink or a nice dinner if you want to. I'm not only looking for homies, but also for friends. I'm passionate about languages, linguistics and traveling, love literature, movies and TV shows and can never say no to a footy or rugby game. I love cooking, and most importantly eating. Cats are my favourite creatures in the whole wide world.
I’m the girl that’s both social but keeps to herself and respectful of personal space. I’m very easy going, fun, loves a laugh, clean, financially stable, passion for cooking (am a Caterer) the occasional glass of Chardonnay (or 2) my art and music (played at a low level).
Hey! My sister and I both go to uni in the city and are looking to find a house in areas such as surrey hills, camberwell, hawthorn, mont albert. We would like to be near a train station (30mins max walk to one). Thanks!
Hey! I'm Jaiman (pronounced J-Man), I am 19 and I am moving to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Applied Music (Performance) at Box Hill Institute in 2019! I've spent the last year, my GAP year, doing a number of things but a big part of it was traveling to Europe for two months alone. Traveling and just the good old road trip are high interests of mine. Most of my time is spent taking photos, filming, hanging out with friends and even more so playing/writing/recording music! I like to keep my environment clean and comfortable. I value good friendships and hope to find some flatmates that do too. And though I am a musician, I will have musical instruments and depending on room size a bit of a home studio with me, but I respect peoples privacy/quiet time and will adapt to lifestyles of those around me. I will be moving without a job in the beginning but once I workout my studying schedule I will look for a job (not fussed what kind). I'm adaptable to just about any living arrangements and will do my part just as I expect you would too! :) I am hoping to spend about $180 on rent but my maximum would be around $240! Feel free to shoot me a message! Cheers, Jaiman
Hi, I'm a down to earth Taiwanese girl who's studying interpreting and working part-time. Although I'm a bit shy I do love to make friends, and I think sharing house is a great way to develop deep friendship. I do hope that I can have lifelong friendship through house sharing with good people in this country. Don't worry, I know how to give personal space and respect your privacy! :) I'm not a party person, but I do enjoy group activities. I'm not very good at small talking but love to be a listener when someone needs to talk. I'm not a good cook yet but I enjoy cooking and preparing meals together with others. I might not be charming but I'm easy to get along with. I'm clean and tidy and just expect the same for the flat and flatmates. I'm now looking for two private rooms for me and my friend Elaine, who is from Hong Kong and will soon become a working new graduate. Elaine is sweet, down to earth and polite. We are both quiet and clean, and we need a truly quiet, clean, tidy place to stay. A good room to me would be a room that has a window to look out, within 10 min walking distance to train station, and can be covered by $200/week including all bills ($230 is fine for Elaine). Must be furnished and have internet available. Doesn't need to be big, doesn't need to have an own bathroom or balcony. I don't really swim or use any gym facilities. Our preferred location is somewhere along the train line from Richmond to Box hill. We are christians, it would be nice if we can have christian flatmates, so please do contact me if you're looking for christian house share. If everything's good we would love to stay for longer than 6 months.
I am a student moving from India. I would describe myself as a cool, clean, tidy, punctual, up for a chat buddy.
My name is Jake, and I'm a 23 year old musician (don't worry, I'll be quiet) and team leader at a national restaurant chain. I'm currently in my final year at Deakin University studying a Bachelor of International Studies. I can speak English, French and German and consider myself a pretty worldly person. I am a non-smoker, sociable, tidy and respectful of others and their possessions.
I’m Sam. I’m a full-time management consultant. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and have brunch with my friends and travel when I can. I work full time in the CBD usually 9-6 and sometimes later hours or travel for work. I’m very clean and tidy and happy to do more than my share of the housework and cleaning. I prefer to cook my own meals than order in. I'm very easy going and always up for a chat, but also happy to do my own thing. Happy to answer any questions you might have, just reach out. Cheers, Sam
Nurse, looking for a room to rent whilst working in my graduate year. I won’t be around much as I’ll be going home to my house in Gippsland when I can/am not working. Really just need a place to cook, shower & sleep :)

Hi I work in Child Care which means that I am very patient & I clean up after myself! I like living in a clean environment yet I’m not super fussy! I am very respectful & considerate & appreciate the same in return. I am sociable yet I also like time to myself to wind down at the end of a busy day. I love cooking & try to eat healthy food which means I love my veggies & I eat some meat but mostly fish. To wind down I enjoy yoga & meditation & long walks. I also like to swim & ride my bike as much as possible. I’m a big reader yet don’t mind a good film. I have a few passions & interests including singing & dance. All up I love to get out & experience life.
I am a professional researcher, tidy and clean. I am friendly, helpful around the property, I get along with most people and we can have good chats if that suits. Yet, I also respect other people's privacy since I need my own space too. I have shared with a variety of people, including doing a small amount of house sitting, for many years. So, I can look after and be useful around a house and property. I am also concerned about the environment so I try to recycle and save on utilities and protect the environment. I don't have any pets but I get along with pets very well. No smokers inside or outside, since it affects me badly. I can move anywhere that is within biking distance from a train station.
