Brand new to Hobart (or will be in August). Moving down for a work opportunity. Super clean and tidy around the house. Fun to live with and adventurous but polite and respectful in a home environment. Over ten years experience renting and sharing in 3 different states. No hassles with keeping up to date with rent, bills etc. Super keen to make new friends in a new city. Hit me up if I sound like the type you'd want to share a pad with.
Hi, my name is Byron. I have recently relocated to Hobart. I am looking for accommodation in Hobart. I work in the hospitality industry. I am clean and friendly and enjoy quality time and also appreciate others time and privacy. I am looking to move ASAP. Cheers Byron
I am quiet and considerate. Will work hard to respect the houses rules and keep things neat and tidy. I will mostly keep to myself and expect a certain level of privacy, but am not against sharing meals from time to time. I work in software development, but enjoy getting outdoors whenever possible in my free time, or reading a good book. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a 19 year old full-time student at UTAS, I'm doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) Pathway. I am also currently looking for work. I generally keep to myself and I'm a pretty laid back person. I spend most of my time at Uni or in my room. I would preferably like somewhere that doesn't mind visitors as I would like my boyfriend to be able to visit me once a week or so. I am a quiet person but I also enjoy conversations with others. I have basic cooking skills and I am a clean & tidy person.
We are family of three, my husband and I plus my 3 year old bub. I am studying in UTAS and my husband is still working as bartender in SYDNEY, they are arriving in Hobart on the 8th August so we really need a house to stay. We are easy to get along with, and my 3 year old is very quiet and bubbly.
I'm easy going, friendly, tried and tested- shared houses for 5 years with no previous problems. I like to cook, brew beer and martial arts. love a cup of coffee, sharing a meal with a glass of wine or beer and the occasional night out. I enjoy spending time with housemates in communal space but I'm respectful of personal space and time. Relocating from Melbourne and looking for a place to live.
A heritage listed 3 bedroom cottage in "the Village"! Available start of September possibly late August by negotiation. Prefer to be rented as the entire house for 6 month lease so add tries to reflect the concept of a couple sharing with a single hence the price difference between rooms - advertised as whole house on another site for $420-$450 depending on tenants and if garage or gardening is included. Prefer one professional couple or family. May consider a longer lease for the right tenants. Owner pre advertising on gumtree to be involved in choice of tenant but then will be managed locally by real estate agent. Will be advertised by agent in coming weeks via realestate.com and I have been told it will be advertised for rent between $420-$450 pw dependant on if the garage and gardening is included. Possibility of renting one of rooms earlier to share house with owner from end of July to late August for the right person(s). Fully renovated interior complete with: Restored clawfoot bath separate to shower and a 2nd toilet Gas hot water, cooking and heating for living areas Panel heaters in 2 bedrooms Large block with fenced in yard Some fruit trees, raspberry canes and raised garden beds for veggies Storage under house or can arrange garage access by negotiation. Current setup is main bedroom with QS bed and second bedroom with day bed (single) with a trundle underneath and a study. Willing to look at swapping day bed for a double or another QS bed in second bedroom. A family have used the study as a nursery in the past as it has a chair suitable for nursing and a very comfortable sofa. Willing to discuss a cat but must have proof from previous real estate that does not cause any damage to furniture. Sorry no dogs. Feel free to contact me to clarify any questions. Many thanks, Marissa

My family home is an hour and a half away from Hobart so I like to go away some weekends to visit my friends and family. Super clean to live with and respect everyone's personal space.

Awesome house. Awesome location. Hi everyone ! This Amazing house is looking for a new Tennant to take over a master lease! Tennant is then allowed to sublet if they so wish as i have been doing for the last couple of years The house is great and fully furnished in every room the master bedroom has a queen bed ensamble and giant built in robes the central room has a single bed bedside tables a desk, chair wardrobe and vanity this room is the smallest of the three and is still quite large The 3rd bedroom has a double bed ensamble and giant built in robes too There's one clean and very illuminated bathroom and 2 toilets (so no reason to fight), a very modern kitchen (and everything works), and a spacious living room with a TV :). There's also a back balcony with nice view and a comfy couch! All windows are double glazed windows for noise reduction (nothing will disturb you while watching a movie). A heat pump has been recently installed and there's a wood heater. Also, don't be afraid of cold showers, we've got a huge hot water system ! there's lots of storage in the garage. You will also easily be able to park your car as there's plenty of room for it :) a shed out the back too and everything you need to maintain a beautiful lawn Hang on! I know, the house sounds awesome and you already want to send me a message but let me tell you more ; the location is great. At walking distance like 5 min there's two different shopping complexes (glenorchy central and northgate) (Woolworths, Coles, target, food), a swimming pool around the corner, library, post office, pubs... You'll still have to count around 3 and a half minutes to the bus mall For Hobart CBD, it's 10min by car, 20/30min with the bus (~6$), 15/20$ by taxi. Yeah, it's cool to live here im going to miss it so much trust me when i say this it is such an amazing location House availability apon request shoot me a message:)

We live in a sunny four-bedroom house located off Augusta road in Lenah Valley (it’s about a 10-minute drive from the city centre). The available room is large size with a walk in wardrobe and private deck. The house is fully furnished (the room is not), with a veggie garden and off the street parking. Rent is $160 p/w and the bills are split amongst the housemates (unlimited NBN, electricity and water). The room is available from the 23rd of July.

Hi! My name is Bernadette, but you can call me Bernie. I am bubbly, friendly and outgoing, but I also enjoy having quiet down-time when necessary! I'm quite a busy person as I'm studying to be a teacher and working part-time in schools. I'm looking for either a share-house or someone to share with! I like cleaning and keeping my house tidy! My hobbies include going for jogs, playing the clarinet, spending time with my friends, travelling the world and just enjoying life to the fullest. If you think I'm the right fit for you, please message me! :)
I have a room available for rent. House is located in Glenorchy, an off street from barrossa rd Lenah Valley end. House is in a shared area, 10 villa units and is located right at the back. It is a nice quiet and private location. Parking next to the house. The room itself is the down stairs area which consists of a 'living area' (6mx3m) can have a couch, tv and table set up, large bedroom and a walk-in robe. Area has electric heating and its own door access. The house will be a shared kitchen, toilet, bathroom and laundry. Yard is a good size and fenced so will be open to considering pets. Ideally I would like someone employed, neat and tidy and like minded. open to ages up to 35. I would like someone who would use the area down stairs as their own living space, so utilise being able to have a couch ect. It is my hom not a rental. If you think that it would suit you, send me an email telling me about yourself. Please include age, gender, what you do for work/study ect. Interests, hobbies, usual working hours. Life style, ie homebody, party ect if you have a pet. and any questions you may have Thanks
Hello, I'm from Melbourne and will study in Hobart. I am a tidy and clean person. I don't smoke or have any pets. I'm friendly, always love a chat but respect other's privacy as well. And I would like to look for a job after I settle so I won't be staying at home all day. I hope to find a place around the city or wouldn't mind to live somewhere with easy access to public transport. I am looking at a few properties in North Hobart, West Hobart and have inspected the properties. Let me know if you're interested to team up.
Yo! Just having a peak on here for the not too distant future. I moved to Hobart in April after a death in the family, so I'm currently living a bit further out than is ideal but soon enough it will be time to fly the coop and begin afresh! I have lived in Brisbane, Melbourne and now Hobart all within the space of 14 months, and have oodles of share housing experience from the past 10+ years. When the time is right I'm hoping to find decent sized dwelling to house my wares and trinkets with some other artistic/creative types. I'm 32 and I'm just getting into the groove of being in new place at the moment. My most recent job in Melbourne was teaching guitar at a grammar school, so with any luck I'll ultimately get to go back to that sort of work. I didn't get a chance to start a masters in Melbourne, but am adamant about starting a masters of music next year, which I intend to do very slowly! Despite being a musician I'm pretty quiet in all aspects, but most definitely friendly and enjoy good house hangs/chats. I do like to spend a fair bit of time to myself, drinking tea and listening to podcasts, burning incense, reading, or just noodling away on some music, watching netflix, the normal sort of stuff. I do love a tipple, though I'm not likely to fall through the front door every weekend. Always on time with rent and bills, courteous and clean without being a fascist. looking for similar minded folk.
