Cosy room with period ambience and gorgeous Tasmanian oak floor. The room is furnished with single bed, linen, electric blanket, bedside table, lamp, armchair, side table, fan/heater, wardrobe and hangers, rug, small desk. Also a summer blanket and a winter quilt, heavy curtains. The room has early sun during the summer and late sun all year round. There is a keyed window lock and the room has a pleasant outlook over the rose garden in the front yard. It is situated in a solid house in a very quiet location with good access to transport including Main Rd buses (or driving) and the intercity cycleway. There are direct buses to the main campus of UTAS. If you have a bicycle there is a secure front shed to park it in. The house is clean and comfortable and PET FREE. The insulation is currently being upgraded. There is a spacious kitchen and lounge/dining area. There is a vegetable garden and the more you help out the more you'll be able to share. NBN wi-fi internet is included but other bills are NOT included. I will work out a price for these when you move in and it will be reasonable. Please note this is a SINGLE room for 1 person only. I will not accept enquiries from couples. This is a vegetarian household, yay! The Moonah area is a super area to live and has all the shops, restaurants, pubs, banks, services and whatnot you need. Also a ripper local arts centre with lots on and Hobart's best hipster coffee shop. What more could you want?!
I am a quiet, tidy and kind person, currently working part-time at UTAS for the College of Arts and Law. I am very respectful of other people's space and while quiet, I am also friendly too. Thank you for reading my listing and feel free to message me if you feel we may be a good flatmate match :)

G'day g'day, I'm making the move from Melbourne (Where I'm from) to Hobart and I'm looking for a place to call home. I work as a chef so I'm handy in the kitchen. I often cook at home and I enjoy communal meals. I will be working hospitality hours, 5 days and 2 nights a week. I'm also a musician and I like to play the odd gig on the side as a hobby. I like to read, watch movies, listen to music, do crosswords, do outdoorsy stuff, play video games, eat out, party, dance and meet new people. I'm pretty easy going but I firmly believe in the idea of home as a sanctuary. Somewhere you don't have to worry about a thing, a totally stress free environment. To that end I sport a healthy respect of others and their personal space and I expect the same in return. I will also bring your clothes in if I know it's going to rain. I'm clean, open minded, sociable and I crack awful jokes, with the occasional cracker.

I am 35 year old female moving to Hobart for a temporary position in state govt until the end of June (at this stage). Hi ~ I'm Freya! I've just returned home to Melbourne after a year living in Portland, USA. I'm currently in the process of trying to move to Hobart, since I've just graduated my course in graphic design and am looking for a change of scene. I was born in Hobart and have some family there, so am hoping to spend the rest of my year in Hobart and suss out whether it feels like the right place for me! I'm 25 and have lived in two share houses since leaving school. The first was a big old place in Melbourne that I shared with four others, and the second a cute home in Portland with 3 of us, so I'm accustomed to sharing communal spaces and respect others boundaries. I am a dedicated tea drinker, enjoy music and art and the outdoors, specifically hiking and cycling and like to spend quiet hours in my room drawing, as well as having laughs around the dinner table if and when everyone in the house just feels like hanging out! I really feel that it's important to have a nice place to come home to, so am very conscious of keeping my houses well loved and maintained, as well as peaceful and homey! I'm open to a spontaneous move so am hoping to find a place by May! If you feel like I might be a good fit, please shoot me a message and we can chat! I am not an earlybird so feel free to text me! Thanks, from your potential future housemate Freya :)
Hey all, I'm a chef & I'm working full time, only day work. So I'm definitely up for cooking dinner! I'm super neat and tidy and respect the communal areas of the house greatly and am after housemates that are the same. I'm pretty socialable and often love a bit of a chat but also like my alone time and respect other people's. I like to just chill out on my days off or get out and about. All round easy going and easy to live with. Looking for a room in a current share house or to team up with anyone looking!
Hi, my name is Ryan, I am a university student from Melbourne about to start my master degree at UTAS. I'm a quiet person and I like to respect others privacy, but I also enjoy a nice chat with some beers or nice food. I'm also clean and tidy, I like to keep everything neat and in order. I'm independent, know how to cook, and can clean up after myself. I enjoy getting to know people from various places and am open to new experiences. I enjoy playing guitar, reading, gaming, playing soccer and sometimes I also like to travel or plan a mini trip, I like to discover new places especially in Tasmania!
