We're a tiny little family, who have spent the last year travelling Australia in our bus and now calling Hobart home.
I'm 37, queer solo parent to my 3 year old son. He goes to daycare 4 days a week in the cbd and I work a block away for a coffee roaster. We also have a border collie dog, Gigi, who is 6. She rarely barks, doesn't dig or chew, and will happily sleep all day and watch the birds in the sky. We need a small outdoor area at least for her and fully fenced.
I value somewhere safe over anything else. Children make noise but we are very respectful of others (and early to bed!) and clean and tidy. I have 100% care of my son which means he’s with me 24/7 (no shared care). We love a kitchen dance party, playing in the garden, watching Bluey and a coffee machine and very happy to make others coffee on the weekends.
Happy to pay up to $400 a week for a share property (either a very large master bed or 2x rooms next to each other) or up to $550 for our own place (maybe even $650 if it has 3 bedrooms). I’ve found properties I’d love to rent that have 3 bedrooms and would love to find someone else to team up with also.
We have a temporary rental until July 17 but if we find something sooner we have the flexibility to move in. Looking for 6+ months, long term if it’s the right place 🧡
