I came to Australia in January of this year to travel around with my sister for a month and then find a job in animal welfare with my working holiday visa. I managed to get a volunteering position in a wildlife park in Brisbane one day a week starting on the 6th of April, and I am also looking for other part time or full time work either in my field or hospitality etc. I am currently still in Melbourne until the 4th or 5th of April, and am looking for a cool house share in Brisbane from then on. I am 27 years old, working in finance and current living in London, but moving over to Australia in Mid-May. I will be working a 9-5 from the office so will be out on weekdays (With potentially some Fridays working from home). I am quite an active person and will go to the gym most days and I also run a lot and I'm looking to complete my first marathon at some point in the near future (I have applied for London marathon 4 times and Sydney marathon for this year but never managed to secure a spot unfortunately). I am quite an outgoing person and enjoy socialising in the evenings sometimes but also will enjoy keeping to myself some nights. I will be new to Australia so will be quite keen to explore in my time off visiting hiking spots & beaches and the city. I was born in New Zealand and have a lot of family over there (which is was very helpful in my job search as I don't require a working holiday visa or anything!), which means I'm planning to make some trips over there. I have lived with various friends over the last few years in both all guy, mixed and all girl houses and consider myself to be very clean and tidy. I appreciate living in a clean space! I love animals so any pets will not cause any issues with me. I enjoy going out for dinners and socialising with friends but my party days are very much behind me but I will be looking to meet people obviously coming to a new country and do a lot of my socialising currently through sports clubs I am involved in.
