Hi! I'm Nic, and I come as a package deal with my 4 yr old rescued Alaskan Malamute, Moose. I am a laid back musician in two bands, currently working casual jobs to save money to pursue this further. I enjoy equestrian activities and anything horse-related, training animals, archery, jousting, guitar and flute (I am considerate of noise levels and can use headphones when needed). I'm friendly and get along with everyone, but clean and keep to myself. Looking for housemates that are chilled out, ideally active and enjoy the outdoors, and of course, will enjoy the company of a big, cuddly dog. Moose is super friendly, loves everybody, and is well mannered, desexed, flea/worm treated, house trained, doesn't bark or chew, but he will howl along with ambulances if he hears them! He's very gentle and tolerant of kids, cats, chickens and other pets but not always with other dogs. He is fine to be partially an outdoor dog in the cooler months, but he is so social and intelligent it would be akin to cruelty to keep him alone outside all the time so he must be allowed to come indoors regularly. He does shed, but I own a very high powered vacuum cleaner to combat this as well as daily grooming. Air conditioning is extremely highly valued in Summer as we both suffer greatly in the heat. Budget and move date is flexible, and I am willing to pay more for the right place. I am very experienced with all animals (particularly horses) and am a good gardener, so I would be very willing to do work on the property for a reduction in rent, if applicable, by pre-determined arrangement. This includes cleaning or child minding. Location is flexible as I have my own transport, but anything in the Brisbane suburbs/outer Brisbane, though Northside is preferred. Semi- rural areas are fine. Moose is not an escape artist or a jumper, but property must be fenced. I can supply some temp fencing if partially fenced. This is a beautiful, modern 4 bedroom house on a large section (800m2). The bedroom for rent has air-conditioning and can either be empty (for you to furnish yourself), or I can provide a bed etc. The entire house is furnished. There are two living areas and a dining area. The entire downstairs is living/kitchen/laundry, and upstairs are all the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a reasonably large kitchen, with all kitchen equipment provided. The house has a master and ensuite (which I am in), plus a main bathroom (which would be yours to use and clean). It also has 3 toilets, and indoor laundry, a private garage (would be 1 space for your car). There is a large garden, and a vege patch. I also have a cat, Frankie, that is an indoor/outdoor cat. I would consider pets but it would depend on the animal. The house is in a very safe and friendly neighbourhood. Close to mountain biking tracks, cycling tracks, tennis courts, walking tracks and bushland. The train station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive, There is also a supermarket, pharmacy, gym, and a few takeaway/cafes close by.
The great thing about living here is it is peaceful. No traffic noise, friendly neighbours and surrounded by bushland. The house has air conditioning for those really hot days. It's a short drive to shops and the train station. If you love animals my dog is the friendliest there is.

Located in Eatons Hill and positioned on acreage I have available 4 bedrooms. Each room has a digital security lock to ensure maximum privacy. Right outside is a giant brand new pool that has been built into the hillside of the property which will always be available upon request. As there are already animals on the property I can not accept anymore besides small reptiles or fish that can be kept in your room. Always happy for tenants to have people over during the day and the occasional piss up as long as I am made aware to notify other tenants.
