Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have a job and no pathetic money problems. (I don’t want to live with people that have to steal other people’s food or steal minor stuff to hok on eBay etc.) My girlfriend can cook excellent Thai food and we will share when we can. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I need this flexibility because I don’t want to move in to a place and then find there is drug/alcohol problems or undesirable visitors or other problems and then loose the deposit because I move out in a short time. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.

It is also is home to two 4yo cats who love cuddles. They will keep out of your way for the most part (unless you have food). We also have a beautiful year old Mini Foxi Cross who adores humans. He is a bit of a lap dog and loves nothing more than to be around humans. The house is a 5 minute walk to Logan Road which has multiple bus routes along there. Holland Park bus stop is also just down the road, probably around 10 minute to walk (I don't actually know since I am lazy and drive). Mount Gravatt Central is 5 minutes down the road, and Westfield Garden City less than 10 minutes away as well which is super convenient. If you are nerd like me, then good news, there are 3 libraries all within walking or driving distance! The bedroom that is up for rent is also attached to it's own personal living room, which is more privacy plus keeps the cats out. UNLIMITED internet included in rent as well as air conditioning in the living room/dining room. The house also has a media room (well that's we call it) which comes with a 63 inch Smart TV, Blu-ray and DVD player as well as PS2 and PS4.

My name is Caitlin, I'm currently looking to team up with either 1 or 2 people to share a small house with, around Mt Gravatt, Holland Park West or Greenslopes. My main goal for location is to have excellent access to the southbound on ramps for the M3 as I travel south every day for work. I work full time in Loganholme 8.30am-6pm, I love to do Yoga and Barre classes, I read voraciously and I've applied to do a second degree starting from next year on the side as an external student. I have a busy social calendar, I like going out a couple of times during the week for quiet dinners to see my boyfriend or friends, I usually head out to dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, I take occasional day trips on a Saturday or Sunday to the beach, and love going to the farmers markets on a Sunday morning. My boyfriend does stay over a couple nights a week at varying intervals depending on our work schedules. My partner is an admitted solicitor who works really hard and long hours, so we make the most of the free time we can find. He is extremely tidy and respectful. I do also like to have the occasional dinner party at home as I enjoy trying to cook new things with good company. And of course I love a good night in on the couch catching up on the Block, MAFS or something on Netflix etc. I'm a happy and bubbly person who's always happy to have a chat over a coffee or a glass of wine with housemates. Whilst I have my own friends, I am always happy to make more. I have a tiny Toy Poodle x Maltese dog who is 10 years old, fully toilet trained, and completely adorable. She's an indoor dog but loves to go for walks and a run on the beach. Because she's so small, I do have to consider how good the fencing is when looking at a property - she fits through the tiniest gaps. So a good fence is a must. I've already inspected a few properties in these areas and have seen good 3 bedroom places for about $450 - which is about $150/person between 3 and really ideal! I could stretch up to $200/week but would prefer not to if we don't have to. I have a lot of my own furniture already and can bring a lot of a house set up to the table, eg TV, big share couch, bookcases, cutlery, crockery etc. I don't have a fridge or a washing machine but am willing to consider purchasing additional big items that I would take with me if I was to go. The house is a beautiful, three bedroom Queenslander with full wrap around balcony, with each bedroom having a private french door entry. The common areas of the house are all furnished, but your bedroom is unfurnished. Bedrooms are spacious and big enough to fit a queen bed, along with dresser and desk. There is lots of natural light with a window and french door on opposite sides of the room. There are hardwood floors throughout the house, and the lounge room has a large leather couch. Newly renovated kitchen with two ovens, and large stovetop, and all appliances, cutlery and crockery you need; however you are welcome to bring your own. Shared bathroom, with bathtub and plenty of storage, and laundry equipped with new washing machine. We don't have a drier, but clothes dry pretty quickly here in Queensland. Under the house there is a large storage space with a second clothes line and room to park a car if you prefer to park here than the driveway.
