Marg
$280/week•68 year old woman
Hello, My name is Marg, 68, I am a long term volunteer and relief manager for a charity. I’m retired but still work occasionally. I’m respectful and considerate of other peoples personal space and their belongings. I'm friendly, clean, responsible, respectable and very reliable with paying my rent and bills on time. I’m an outdoors only light cigarette smoker, trying to give up. I have osteoarthritis in my neck, spine and hips so consequently I am not able to climb stairs, so only a one level unit or house is suitable and safe for me. I don’t drink and don’t take drugs. Looking for long term share accommodation, would prefer my own bathroom but I understand that in this rental crisis that may not be possible. I have my own bedroom furniture. Would prefer to share with one or two people only. As I receive rent assistance through my aged pension I require that the owner or principal person of the property sign a rent assistance form so that I can receive my rent assistance. Are there any older people out there that would like to team-up and go on a lease and share a unit or house together on the Gold Coast? In my spare time I enjoy movies, reading, scrabble on my iPad and listening to music. Cheers and kind regards! 🌸

$300/week•32 year old man
Hey future roommate/s, I’m Chriddy, I’m 32 and work in emergency response & rescue in the mines. I do week on week off. I am also a musician so I do gigs now and then and I also work in support at times helping troubled kids / men, so keep myself pretty busy. Very honest and happy, I’m very clean (probably too clean lol), I train a lot, boxing full time and coaching sometimes. I spend a lot of time outdoors at the beach or in nature, I’m very health driven and oriented so would like to live with others who are the same or similar. I don’t drink, smoke or party at all. Big softy at heart and always wanting to help others where I can. I do come with a plus one, my son, Ziggy 🐶 he’s a 3 year old chocolate border collie. Beautiful friendly nature, I’m very strict with him so he is extremely well trained / behaved, he loves everyone and everything and he is obsessed with his ball, scratches and cuddles. He will be more happy to see you when you get home than anyone ever has. Everyone who knows him tells me he is a human lol. He is family so ideally I would love to team up with others who will treat him like their own too 😊 he goes to a great set up with my aunty when I’m away at work. After a house not apartment. Can move in whenever really, so flexible with move in dates. Ideally not looking to go on lease right now but happy to with the right place. Just putting the feelers out for now to see who and what’s around. Please msg me if you think we would be a good & suitable matchup together 🙏🏽

$350/week•31 year old woman
I am originally from the UK but have lived in Australia on and off since 2013 (mostly on). I am a nurse and will be doing shift work so need a housemate who can be respectful of this. I am friendly, clean and tidy. I love to travel and see new places. But also enjoy spending days off relaxing at home and binging the latest series I am into. Happy to socialise but also enjoy spending time alone. I won’t be out partying every weekend but don’t mind the odd night out/a few cocktails. My preference is a room with air con and my own bathroom. If you have a room available that you think could work please send me a message 🙂

$600/week•30 year old woman
Hi there! I'm Monique (Mon), 30 I'm currently looking for a private, stable, and secure place I can call home - ideally something self-contained like a granny flat, studio, or 1–2 bedroom unit, available unfurnished and for immediate move-in. A little about me: I’m a quiet, respectful, and conscientious person. I work as a Traffic Controller full-time, but I’ll soon be on maternity leave as I’m expecting my first baby in November. So it’s important to find a space that’s safe and baby-friendly, and where my little one and I can settle in peacefully for the mid-to-long term. That said, I’m open to shorter arrangements if it feels like the right fit. I value privacy, independence, and a calm environment. My budget is flexible between $400–$600/week, depending on the place. If you have something that fits, or close to it - I’d love to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Mon
