32 y.o. man, doctor by profession. Lived un Melbourne for more than 12 years and currently thinking of relocating to Brisbane. I'm kind, respectful, easygoing, clean and neat. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, working out, dancing and traveling. Looking for a good inner city location with good lifestyle (eg shopping, cafes, restaurants, safe etc.) P.S. No smoking and no pets please.
Affectionately named the “The Treehouse”, this spacious unit with in an older style brick block has amazing views across New Farm and the City. Close to Merthyr Village, James Street, Fortitude Valley and the City – this unit is centrally located and right next door to New Farm Cinemas and the best French patisserie. The colourful and open plan kitchen has a brand new oven, dishwasher and microwave. This space has an energetic feel and a lot of room to move making it comfortable to share. It's a three bedroom unit with only two flatmates.
Ive recently moved to Brisbane to complete my clinical counselling placement and finish my degree. I work two days for a clinic and am usually out and about on other days. When im not working I Netflix, head out, or work out. Im vegan and health-conscious (non-smoker, non-drinker, non-drug taker) but not a Nazi about anyone elses diet or lifestyle (altho id prefer a house with similar values). I practice yoga and meditate and would say Im a positive person who always starts each day with a genuine outlook and can be relied upon to boost the positive vibes. I avoid toxic behaviour and drama and prefer to live in a healthy home. I am a member of the LGBTI community (i.e trans identified) and would ideally like to live with the same or people who are supportive and ok with who I am. I will also message you if Im interested in the listing, so no need to send me any messages. (Especially if your property doesnt fit my selection criteria or if you are a hetero male). Im flexible with move in dates and can accomodate the right home. Also prefer a long term home of 1 year or so. I am a reliable, tidy, outgoing and positive person. Im usually spending time reading or studying but am still very social. My "partying" days are extinct but still head out now and again when the mood randomly takes me. I pride myself on being honest and value my personal integrity, and would like to live with ppl who have the same core values. I hope to find a compatible home and ensure I will be living with sane, normal, healthy people. Im also ideally looking for an unfurnished room with an ensuite or my own bathroom but am aware thats not always possible ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive and can be upsized if something is amazing. And Im not looking for a single room, furnished room, or to live with couples or straight males. sorry. Ps to all the spammers who are messaging me (and ignoring all of my search criteria) please dont. The same applies to the creepy dudes who are messaging me ... (Gross!) My profile lists my criteria and Im unsure why your ignoring it. This also isnt tinder. Ive had to block so many ppl and its becoming a real drainer. Chat soon!
Looking for a place that can accommodate both me AND my silversmithing studio (a room with adjoining sunroom/sleepout for example, is ideal); and good people to share with. Please don't contact me if there's no space in the house for my studio, it's just wasting my time and yours! Happy to either slot into an existing sharehouse or team-up to start a new one. Clean, organised, reliable, easy going, friendly, open. Enjoys talking about how shit works, going to festivals, making people laugh and overeating. Has a large cooking and baking repertoire. Available for hugs after long days. I work full-time Monday-Friday for the government, and have a growing business teaching workshops and making/selling jewellery. Sometimes I coach on personal and professional development courses. Outside of those things I love both to stay active with gym/yoga and be a total sloth engaged only in Netflix/UberEats binges.

26 yr old professional looking for a room to rent at the beginning of May when I come back from holidays. Looking for a friendly social place around the Paddington, Milton, Spring Hill and New Farm areas. I work in an Architecture firm in the Valley. I'm a pretty social, friendly guy and am looking for a social household (not a party house) that likes to hangout and do things whilst respecting peoples privacy. I like to get out and about on the weekends, usually mountain biking, indoor rock climbing and other adventurous things. I'm negotiable on price depending on what's included but hoping to find a place with an offstreet parking spot for my car and some storage for my bike and other camping gear & stuff. I also have some furniture i can contribute, including a microwave, washing machine, dining table, TV cabinet and coffee table. If you think you might have something suitable feel free to send me a message. Mike
Hey, I’m Georgina. Currently looking to move to Brisbane as I am commuting from Beaudesert. I am a medical receptionist for an ophthalmologist working between the CBD and Upper Mount Gravatt. I enjoy my own space but am pretty happy to socialise after work and on weekends. I enjoy trashy tv, playing touch footy and going to the gym. Looking for a place that is an easy commute, has off street parking and closet space! Flexible move in date also
Hi! I'm Iris, Dutch, and an international student Biomedical Engineering at QUT. I'm easy going, friendly and love to meet new people. I'm looking for a place to stay from April 27, preferrably in an international house. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions!
Hi all I'm a professional who's just returned from 3 years in London followed by 3 years traveling Latin America. I'm no stranger to house shares. Having only just returned to the city, I also want to get out and explore on weekends and explore everything the city has to offer. I work full-time in Milton and drive daily. What I'm looking for in a place: - secure car park - room 3x3.5 or larger - good views - modern/newish (nothing tiny though!) - preferably with gym/pool What I'm looking for in a housemate(s): - Someone that also works hard during the week and likes to relax and unwind on weekends. I'm not oppose to hanging out, cooking, sharing a wine, etc. I don't want to live with strangers, but rather with friends, and to create a home, all the while recognising the need for privacy and personal space. We're off to a good start if you're not opposed to the occasional wine and cheese, or board game night. Timing: - Anytime really, I'm not in a rush - referring the right place and housemates over something that'll do. I'm keen to meet in advance to see how we'd gel in the house I'm a non-smoker and social drinker. I'm open to male or female housemates - no couples Let me know if you want to chat or search together Josh
Huge house in the middle of New Farm. Walking distance from Coles, cafes, bus stop, New Farm park/powerhouse etc. Really convenient for anyone working in the city as it's a 2 minute drive to the Valley or <15 minute bus anywhere in the CBD. TWO ROOMS AVAILABLE. This listing is for the larger of the two, super spacious room with a bay window (plus storage bench) and chandelier. Such a cool room with so much character. House also has heaps of living space, huge kitchen and lush backyard. Double garage if you have a car too!
At first I was looking for a place to live by myself but then I thought a little better and decided to look for people to share the house with. I am totally new in Brisbane and I don't have any friends there so I thought that living with other people would be a good way of making friends. I am looking for a home not just a shelter. Therefore, I think it is important to give more details about me so I can find a good match here: * I am 35 years old. Brazilian architect who recently moved to Australia on February after my permanent residency was granted. I arrived in Sydney, I liked it here but after visiting the warm and wonderful state of Queensland, I decided to move to Brisbane. * I need to bring my stuff (bed, mattress, dresser) * I like to party sometimes but I don't like to throw real parties at home, (unless it is a special ocasion). I love cooking so maybe I'd invite friends for dinner once in a while but that's it. * I can only live with people who care about having an organised house. No need to be a cleaning freak but considerate and respectful with others. What you do in your room is your business but the common areas should always be kept tidy. * I am allergic to cigarettes and I really hate the smell. Weed doesn't bother me at all but cigarettes do. * I would love to have a pet, I like cats and dogs. If you already have one it will be WONDERFUL but if you don't have and don't want to have, I understand, no problem. I can live without having a pet for a while.
Hi I am Michelle! I work full time Monday to Friday. I am a tidy person. I have just moved interstate from Adelaide. I have a Fridge, washing machine, TV and TV cabinet if anyone is looking to team up to find a place but I'm flexible. Looking for a housemate that wouldn't mind to have a glass of wine with me every now and then. Message me if you are interested:)
I’m a pretty easygoing housemate, I’ve been house sharing since I was 18 so I am easy to share a space with. I definitely want to live in a loveable but clean space and hence and pretty tidy in shared spaces. I enjoy catching up over a wine or coffee and would like a housemate who wants to do so too. I have a fluffy (tail less) cat called Nori who is very friendly and loves the outdoors hence I need a space with a little backyard or ground floor apartment. I work for Tatts group at Woolloongabba generally from 8-4, keep active with running and pilates and love music festivals, wine (red & white) and fancy coffee shops. I also love terribly cheesy movies and have a BA of photography that I don’t use enough. Furniture wise I have my own room furniture plus can contribute a tv, 4 seater round table, gorgeous big carpet and coffee table to the house. I’m looking to move to a new or established house with 1, max two people. Requirements: Own bathroom Yard space or access to outside for cat Quiet street Reasonable sized room Verandah in the backyard would be great Similar age (25-35) housemate/s Move date is by August as this iwhen my lease is up but if I find somewhere/one great before then I am happy to move earlier. Please contact me if you think we could be great flatmates :)
I’m a full time 2nd year apprentice chef from the Sunshine Coast so I love the beach, cooking and eating (how surprising) I think I’m a sarcastic weirdo and I’m great to live with because I’m happy, extremely neat and organised. I also cook! So there’s that ☺️
Hi there :) I'm a conscientious, easy going housemate. I'm flexible with lease length, good with my finances, and have great rental history. Equally happy to live with people who keep to themselves as with those who want to be regularly social. I graduated from UQ at the end of 2017 with a BA in writing and film/TV. Been living on the Sunshine Coast with parents for the last couple months but I miss the city! And there are just no creative jobs up here. Some of my hobbies include digital illustration, horticulture, crotchet, trying to publish my writing, and being very into film and animation. I'm always up for a chat, movie nights, or whatever. I've done the whole sharehouse thing a few times with friends and strangers. What I'm looking for is an equal household where I have space, sharing with a person or persons close to my age, and most importantly with people who wont turn on loud appliances at 2am ;) Unless they're like downstairs... or we're all up anyway. I'm very reasonable but I've been burnt before Please message me for a chat, and if that goes well I can find my way to brisbane for a casual face to face :)
Hi there ! I am Megane a outgoing 26 years old swiss girl. I have been in Australia for one year now and I totally fell in love with the lifestyle and the people there. I just finished my farmwork and I am coming back to my beloved Brisbane ! I am a easy going, organized and respectful person. I like socialising the same way that I like staying in my space. I enjoy having a deep chat around a cup of tea, listening music, cooking homemade dinners (you will have to try my cookies, the BEST) as well as going out for a glass of wine (or 2 ;-)), a movie, a market, a BBQ, a stroll and so on. For me all is about balance :-) During my free time I love working out, exploring news places, going to the beach, cooking and reading ! I am looking for a room in a cosy, calm and friendly house. Do not hesitate to contact me ! See you ! Megane
Hey, I'm an international student working in hospitality and studying in CBD. I'm responsible, clean and tidy but also I like having a couple of drinks or going out when I've time. I like animals thus if you have a pet it would be great.
I’m looking to move in somewhere close to Brisbane city with good public transport in close proximity. I work full-time at a law firm in Brisbane. I need the accommodation to be close to work which usually finishes later in the afternoon. I wish to be able to have my family, loved ones and friends over at my place without any problem. I expect to spend some weekends out of Brisbane to be with family and friends. Ideally I would prefer an initial arrangement of a short stay after which time we can decide whether a renewal is a good option. A person with respect for diversity would go a long way.
Hi! I’m currently looking for a place to move into at the beginning on June long term. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Aviation at Griffith University full time. I'm easy going, tidy and love to do anything active. I'm hoping to find part time work asap to keep myself busy and out of the house. Please let me know if you think we might be a good fit ! :)
Hey, we are two English backpackers looking for a place to stay for the next 3 months or so. We are two friends that have just moved up from Melbourne and we are happy to have separate beds/rooms or share a bed if needs be. We are both really friendly and tidy people, and we are very respectful of other housemates, and happy to keep the balance of keeping ourselves to ourselves but also enjoy socialising :)
Hey my name is Crystal, I am a easy going 25 year old working full time in the city. I do work shift work so you might not see me a lot of the time, however I am social when I have time off and I do enjoy a good wine or beer and Netflix. I am pretty flexible around my move in date but the sooner the better. I don't have a car, I am a non smoker (but I don't mind if other housemates are) I don't have any pets but I would love to move into a place that has a cat or dog as I do love animals. I am looking for a place thats not to far from the city and close to public transport. I think thats about it for now :)
I'm a 24-year-old trans woman, part-time worker & creative looking for a lgbt+ friendly household. I'm very quiet and social. I am outside of the house a lot but it would be nice to find a place to also entertain a friend or two. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, play video games, and try to keep active. I am currently trying a lot of different potential hobbies out so my time at home is limited. I'm big into sci-fi and fantasy and love watching new types of movies and shows. I have 2 beautiful and well-behaved cats. They don't scratch furniture or make much of a mess. They're extremely affectionate and love having humans around. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! - Lydia
