I'm a 24 year old female Full-time student. I'm a easy going person who loves being in the company of others and gets along with all sorts of people. for now I'm looking for a short-term stay until 10th of February, but it might change. I like to have it clean around me and enjoy my spare time. Since, I am a full-time student I am mostly at uni, but i like to have some drinks on the weekend. I also enjoy to be outdoors and traveling around.
I am a postgrad medical student studying in UQ and am currently actively looking for a place closer to the hospitals. I am mostly quiet keeping to himself but sociable when things are happening. Normally I don't party. Never did drugs. Don't smoke. I am also tidy and cleans up after himself. I work as a casual online tutor with a lot of savings - enough to last me till I graduate in 3 more years and start being an intern, so rents and bills are never a problem. I also have my own car, so parking is essential (can be on or off street).
I am a 27 year old American, living here in Brisbane studying my Masters degree. I am easy going, friendly, tidy, and independent. Looking forward to meeting like minded people in a healthy and happy environment :)
I work full time at the Brisbane Airport area in construction management. I like exercising (run, gym i.e. Jetts) early in the morning. Like going to live music events/gigs. I grew up on the Gold Coast (Burleigh) so I still spend a lot of weekends down there as I still have my room! as I surf, catching up with friends and family. My current flatmate (friend) is moving in with this gf. I'm looking for a room that is unfurnished.
Im a 22 year old Male who will be studying full time in Southbank. I am ex Army and consider myself extremely clean and organised. Im laid back, love a laugh and hanging with mates. My week consists of gym and work (can always do with a running buddy) Love socialising with friends over the weekend, dinners and movies! Room Available in Stunning Part of New Farm A medium-sized unfurnished room with a built-in wardrobe and own personal balcony is available in a large shared apartment in New Farm. The room is carpeted and of decent size, can easily fit a queen bed with walking space around it. There is beautiful natural light, and the balcony is about half the size of the room further to that. The location is unbelievably good, we are adjacent to a beautiful park and close to the ferry stop as well as a superb river walk. The apartment itself has 3 bedrooms. We are two guys both in our 30's, both working full-time. We are relaxed, considerate, friendly and tidy but without being overboard about it. The area overall is quiet and peaceful, with lots of trees and serenity. We are a few steps away from a bus stop and a quiet cafe. Further to that, a 10 minute walk will get you to New Farm village which has everything there like cafes, Coles, quality fruit shop, cinemas, another bus route, gyms, yoga and more. The apartment has extensive views of the Brisbane river from the lounge room, as well as from the kitchen, and from the main balcony. We have aircon, a dishwasher, unlimited internet, and two bathrooms. We do prefer non-smoking housemates. You will have your own garaged parking space, and there is a bit of extra storage space down there if you need it too. Remembering the room comes with a built-in wardrobe. We would love to hear from you if you are interested - please send a text to Ali with some details about what your situation is and what you generally love to do with your time. Room is available from Saturday 3rd December. Rent is $219/week and bond is slightly less than 4 weeks rent. Thanks!
I am an easy going guy, I can cook and clean, have to keep the place tidy. I am moving from the UK to start a new job. I love going to the gym, playing golf and just like hanging out with friends!
I like to live in a nice, considerate environment. Like to have fun, but am very respectful. Clean, tidy, bubbly person. Very friendly, but can keep to myself if you prefer. I'm looking for a place where I can have my own bathroom or ensuite and built-in wardrobe. On-site pool is a bonus.
Hi there, just got a new job in Brisbane. Have lived here before and love the City. I am Working professional. Like time to myself but also love a beer and to be social. Looking for a like minded male/female to house share with. There is so much more bang for buck in a 2/3 bedroom place than a one bed. I have most house fittings and furnishings but am happy to sell/make other arrangements. I travel once a month or more for work, love to cook and enjoy my sport. Looking for a modern, clean apartment.
Sunny, spacious house in an amazing location just off Brunswick Street! Some compromise possible in the moving date, just ask :) The house has a bright open-plan living area, spare spot for parking underneath, a garden, and is already furnished with the usual household items. The room we have available is more than large enough for a queen bed and wardrobe, and can include extra cupboard space for further storage if you need it. We're in an amazing location, near the 196 and 199 bus stops and only a 25min walk to the CBD. The cinemas are across the road, and there's a heap of restaurants, cafes and bars in the area! Rent doesn't include bills, but these amount to $35 per month for gardening and internet, and electricity which we split (approx. $120 per person per quarter).
I'm a 21 year old girl and grew up on a big farm in a small village in Germany. I'm in Australia since 28th November and I habe been in New Zealand before. I'm not a party animal why I'd like to spend christmas and NYE in a quiet place where I can relaxe and enjoy cooking and baking. I'd love to share some christmas bakeries. I'm very clean and tidy and also really honest. I'm looking for a room from 4th December to 2nd January. After that my trip up north will start.
Looking for a room to rent close to Brisbane city with a car space. I am very adventurous, I am a beach fanatic, I love snorkelling, hiking, and frequently down in Byron to visit my best friend. Along with this, I spend my weekends at my house on the GC. I am always working as well, I have a full time job and love going to the gym. I'm moving to Bris for my job, looking forward to meeting some new friends. I am very respectful of space and fairly clean except before I night out when I cant choose what to wear. I can talk a lot when I want to, though I am fairly quiet. I don't watch any TV though I love listening to music. Would prefer non furnished room w/ own bathroom & I am open to Team Ups!
I am looking for something in January, kind of flexible on exact date. I currently live in Kangaroo Point and work in Southbank, so walk to work. I would love the be close enough that I can still do that. I love wine, cheese, travel, diving, mountain climbing, good movies, music and photography. I am keen to socialise, have a few drinks & meet new people, but not after a party animal housemate. I work in Travel (advertising) and want to do Europe next year for a few months, so prefer 6 month lease, but open to options. I also have a (very adorable) Pomeranian called Koda. He is 5 and has lived in a unit for the last year, so he is very well trained. He barely ever barks and he doesn't chew things! Would prefer a unit, with my own bathroom. Would be happy to buy furniture, or move into a furnished place and store what I have. :)
I'm currently wanting to move to Fortitude Valley as my current lease will be up on the 27th of January, 2017. Sadly my housemates and I are parting ways as they want to take their relationship to the next step. I've been living out for home for roughly over 6 years now and really want to find a place to stay for a long period of time, moving sucks. I'm really laid back and keep to myself but I do love socialising from time to time. Preferably would love to live in the Valley as my office is in China Town. I work full time and would rather be close to work than catching public transport. Please shoot me a message so I'm not stressing about where I'm living come next month haha!
I work split shifts mon - thurs, triathlon is my sport. - basically home a few hours during day and sleep at night. Only eat dinner at home as never there. Ps. I have 3 expensive bikes, will need room for them.
I.m an easygoing guy i.d like to improve my english and i.m very tidy... i need a house near james street because i.m working there as a waiter and i.d like to live close to mh work and also have good flatmates who talks in english to improve my skills
Easygoing and outgoing person that likes to play guitar, listen to good music, party, have a beer and chill. Sometimes I like to be on my own, with privacy, but I enjoy good company. Looking for a non brazilian place where I can practice my english. Aussie house mates would be appreciated :)
"She's sweet. Funny, open. A really pleasant roommate." - Jemima, 2014* "Witty banter for days. Mostly at her own expense." - Arnold, 2013* "Looks like it's going to rain. Better bring your washing in" - Mum, 2016* *All quotes are true, names have been changed, but the people are real, although they may or may not have said these things loosely during off the record conversations. Happy to pay up to $250 dollar bills a week for: A private room of my own in a nice relatively new or renovated place with a yard/area appropriate for playing fetch. Ideally, I'd prefer my own bathroom. Happy to share a bathroom if it's with one other clean person. Sorry, but this gal is too old to share a bathroom with 2+ people or a house with 4+:) Learn a bit more about me below. And, ya know, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is(n't) Stan. What makes me great to live with? Well... I rinse out the chux when I've finished cleaning the dishes that I haven't left sitting on the sink for 1+ days. I love cooking for others and sitting down to a nice meal with glass of red. Sometimes the glass of red is the nice meal. Don't judge. I believe pretty firmly that garlic bread is life. Don't worry, I'm not a total slob-kebob. I meal prep, eat relatively clean and go to the gym in the hopes that someday I will have that #summerbod everyone keeps going on about. Plus it supposedly prolongs life. Fun fact: I'm a decent human who understands the concept of personal space so won't go looking through your room/things. Funner fact: This is probably because I'm too lazy and would much rather watch Netflix. Funniest fact: Funner isn't a word. Saving the best bit for last - I have a sidekick by the name of Duke Nukem; a nearly 2 yr old teeny 3kg mini fox x pinscher rescue pup who is a ball of energy one moment and passed out the next. He's quiet, but has barked at the wind (or ghosts) once or twice. He can also hop 3-4 feet in the air, generally because he's curious to see what's on your dinner plate on the table. He means well and I'm sure you'll love him nearly as much as he'll love you. We're a rad pair looking for equally, if not more so, rad people to make a home with in the new year. I know I said 2016 was gonna be my year, but I've got a reeeeeally good feeling about 2017. What makes you so great to live with? Well... I'm hoping you're a positive / emotionally stable person, who prides yourself on paying bills before they're due, are kind and laid back 90% of the time, are down for a good laugh and great conversation, and if you eat my food you really mean it when you say you'll replace it. Bonus points if you've got a pooch of your own who is open to making a new puppy pal. If ever you're out of town, I'm happy to feed and love the little puppa, and I hope if ever I'm out of town, you'll do the same :)
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
My very spacious apartment is on the top floor of a three storey classic stucco heritage-listed apartment in New Farm. The large covered balcony looks across the river to the city with spectacular views of the city skyline and Story Bridge. The balcony has hosted many River Fire parties over the years. My friends and I have often dined out on the balcony all through the year. The apartment lies at the end of a cul de sac so there is little traffic. The lounge and dining room are also very spacious offering the same uninterrupted views of the bridge and city. This area is yours to privately enjoy (although of course I would be happy to join you from time to time ) as I have my own living area in another section of the apartment. The kitchen is modern with plenty of cupboard and bench space. Your corner room is currently comfortably accommodating a queen size bed and a study table. There is an overhead fan and a built-in cupboard. There are two windows allowing in plenty of fresh air and light. A very unique aspect of your room is that it has two entrances one of them opening to the outside of the apartment with its own private stairway leading down to the ground floor of our building. This means you have private access to your bedroom should you not want to cross through the living areas to get to your bedroom. Perfect if you are coming in late or are a shift worker. You will be sharing a bathroom with another couple. The bathroom also includes a washing machine and dryer. Communal clothesline downstairs. There is plenty of off street free parking. The location of the apartment is just a dream. The 196 bus stop is a short 100 metre stroll up the lane. This bus travels into the Valley and CBD and then across the river to the Cultural Centre, West End and finally terminating in Fairfield. The beginning of the River Walk into the CBD is 200 metres away. The Sydney Street, River Cat station is a relaxed 10 min walk. And if you're into Brisbane's City Cycle system the first station is a 5 min walk away. Many restaurants, cafes and bars are within easy walking distance and the wonderful Powerhouse is a 10 min bike ride away...
The All New Brisbane Boutique Guesthouse New Farm is a great place to call home whether you are working or studying. Only a hop, skip and a jump off point to the Heart of the City Centre and also the vibrant social scene of the Valley. Our brand new rooms in the new wing of the Guesthouse will be on offer from January 2017. We are inviting Expressions of Interest Now.

I am a mature professional from the UK currently on a career break, while completing some studies. I am private and considerate individual and am looking for quiet accommodation preferably with own bathroom. I enjoy music, watching sport and digital photography.
I've recently finished University on the Gold Coast and am looking to moving to Brisbane as I am starting Full Time work late January. I have lived in a share house for the past 4 years. I am quiet and tidy. Although I do enjoy being able to socialise with my roommates. I am looking to either move into an already set up place or happy to find a new place with someone new!!
Easy going, quiet, clean, responsible. Happy to take a longer lease for the right place
Currently living in the Redlands and looking for a change in scenery.
