Hello! I'm Amy, a 24-year-old woman looking for a room to rent.
I'm seeking a clean and tidy space to call home. I love minimalism, natural sunlight, and cozy, aesthetically pleasing environments. I'll be bringing my own bed and a few lovely indoor plants to make the place feel more like home.
I’m a stickler for cleanliness and always tidy up after myself. I’d prefer to live with roommates who feel the same—it’s important for me to have a space where everyone respects the common areas and keep them clean. I want a place where I can unwind and feel comfortable, not having to clean up after others!
I work full-time in support work and also have a couple of part-time jobs at a supermarket and a restaurant, so I’m out and about quite a bit. On my days off, I love to relax at home, get some chores done (laundry, tidying, meal prep etc.), or go and stay at my boyfriend’s farm.
I’m looking for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, though I enjoy the occasional chat with housemates! I’d love to share some activities like a beach trip, ocean baths, or Parkrun if that’s something you’d be interested in.
A few other things to know about me:
-I'm not a smoker and prefer to live in a non-smoking household (including no vaping). The smell really affects me.
-I’m not a partier or drinker, except maybe for special occasions like weddings.
-I’m mildly allergic to cats/cat hair, so I’d prefer a place without.
-My boyfriend visits occasionally (1-2 nights a week), and he’s very quiet and respectful. I also sometimes stay at his place.
I’m currently paying around $175/week, including bills, so a similar price would be ideal.
