its a 3m x 3.6m room, that is upstairs. It has a closet built into the wall, 0.6m deep, and 1.8m wide. Yes, the door to your room can lock. There's a ceiling fan. Also, yes, there's 3 double powerpoints spread throughout the room. The bed and the bedside table costs an extra $15 a week, if you don't want them, just say. It's a double bed. It has a back yard, is a fully furnished household. Theres two main living spaces, one with a TV, at the kitchen (Downstairs). Your room has decent views of the city and theres enough tree's to give you privacy without closing your blinds. The upstairs bathroom is shared with 2 housemates. It has a shower, and toilet. There's an additional toilet out on the back deck. Due to the bills, they will be split 4 ways when they arrive. It has cable internet, too. It's only $30 a month. No one in this house smokes, but our neighbour smokes occasionally. The main reason you should move here? The newmarket hypermart is across the road. Its a 30 second walk to coles, and it has enough unique food places that you can burn your whole paycheck on them and (probably) not get tired of them. There's a movie cinema too! Midnight snacks? 7/11 almost next door. If you get bored, its a single bus ride into the city, or if you need the train, there's one a 15 minute walk away. If you have a car, there's free side street parking.
My name is Maddy and I am searching for someone who wants to teamup to find a place. I currently live in Chermside West and am hoping to stay in the same kind of area (North Brisbane). I am a nursing student at QUT and I work at St Andrews Hospital. I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I also have a small dog called Louie. Lou is a tibetan spaniel x chihuahua and is 5kg. He is very friendly and loves other dogs and cats too so if you have a little pet we could organise something.
I'm easy going, social, and enjoy a clean household! I am a pastry chef so I spend a lot of time at work or at home baking. I love the outdoors and spending time with friends. I would love a house filled with like-minded people who enjoy their own personal space but don't mind a chat at dinner or a few drinks on a weekend.
We are moving down to Brisbane and will be finding our own rental within a month. Im an engineering student and my partner is in the army. We are very clean people and dont make much noise, we dont smoke and we love animals.
I’m an easy going, tidy, quiet and friendly person. I work from 8am to 5pm during the week. I tend to enjoy my weekends outside of the house. I respect other people’s space, but I’m also open to having a wine and a chat. 😊
Hello! We have 1 room available in our house at Newmarket. Location: We are right at the top of the hill looking out into the city. The house backs on to the Bank Street Reserve and is on a nice quiet street with lots of on street parking. There is a carport though which we share! Walking distance to trains and buses to the city, and the Newmarket Cinemas, Coles, Market Organics, Pepe's, Sushi Edo and the cool Terry White Chemist with all the veg stuff. The Room: The room is a good medium size, room for a desk and a bed, with a ceiling fan, and screens on the windows. There is no wardrobe but comes with a clothes rack if you need. The house: It is a really beautiful little home with new polished timber floors, a lovely big kitchen, open eating and living areas and shared bathroom and toilet. There is a massive under the house storage area with a washing machine and dryer and a hills hoist outside. There is air con in the main area, but given there are fans throughout and it's so breezy we haven't used it too often. Bills are all split evenly. Internet is $20 a month and is very quick. The gas, water and electricity is quarterly but is pretty cheap. I also have two cats (Mimi and Mushu), so you would need to be happy with them. They are very silly and affectionate but are also pretty old so spend most of their time sleeping on my bed. Please feel free to send me a message with a little about yourself and we can set up a time for you to come look at the place and meet us and the kittens :-)
Brisbane local looking to move sometime at the start of next year. Working part time and studying for my undergrad. Good at communicating, usually will keep to myself, but always up for a good chat. Would really love somewhere with a bigger backyard as I love being outside (and potentially being able to garden a little). I have a pet cat, but he is quite old and usually spends all day sleeping in my room, so if you aren't keen on cats he won't be a bother.
I am looking for a room in the inner suburbs so im close to the city where I work full time as an Economist. I enjoy going to live music, watching movies, cooking and going to the gym. I am very laid back and easy going. I am also very partial to having a drink and a yarn on a friday arvo. If you think I would be a good fit get in touch!
Hello, Girl seeks room. I am looking for a chill share house to make myself at home in. I work in retail in the evening which means mostly you will see me on the weekends. Apart from work I like eating out, travel and music. My cat, Ratlaser, will also be making the move with me. She is an outdoor, free ranged cat with no litter box required. She tends to spend most of her time sleeping on my bed these days as she is nearly 10. I am full housemate trained, can clean and respect communal areas. Only interested in pet friendly houses. Shoot me a message if you have any questions.
