Hello! I am a friendly but shy, clean & tidy person in my early 30's. My passions/hobbies include travel, digital media/film, craft and cooking. I've just returned from living abroad and am relocating to Brisbane where I will be working as a carer. I'm looking to share a place with 1-2 people who are also clean & tidy, must be lgbtq friendly and may have pets or willing to have small pet in the house. (I want to get a cat or possibly a small dog). Need furnished room. I do not have any vehicles. Looking for something with no bond required. Thanks
Hey hey! I'm 24 years old and working full time as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in Toowong. I'm a pretty social, fun and adventurous person and love having a cheeky wine or two on the weekends. I'm a respectful and clean housemate and I'm always up for a chat! I'm more interested in a smaller house / apartment rather than a share house, and more than happy to team up with someone and hunt for a new place together! I'm just about to go to Europe for a holiday so unfortunately won't be available until late July / early August. Swing me a message if you're interested or have any other questions :)
Just finished uni. From New York City, moving in September 2018 to train/play baseball in Brisbane and work part/full time as a store manager ... love staying active whether it be cycling, skiing/snowboarding, baseball/futbol, hoping to learn n surf taking trips to Gold Coast if i buy a car ... just saw em live and kinda look like Dylan Frost from Sticky Fingers (love good music) ... going out for the occasional drink or staying in is just as good depending how i feel ... can also speak a bit of italian & spanish looking for one or a few peeps , male or female, that have good energy to live with and just in general making friends in a new city ... i'm easy feel free to swing me a message and oh name's pronounced oogan (silent R)
Hey there, I work as an interior designer in the city. I’m told that I’m a good cook and I’m an avid baker. I like to entertain and have friends over but on the flip side I won’t say no to a quiet night in. If you would like to know anything else, please let me know. James.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old Law and Business Uni Student working as a part-time Legal Secretary. I consider myself a friendly and social person, but I am also laid back and will respect your personal space. I'm very clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around, I can be a bit of a neat-freak sometimes. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Love a good wine and cheese night, or catching up over drinks/movies on the weekend with housemates, better to be friends than strangers. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
I have 2 bedrooms available for rent from around the 15th July in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse. The house is only 3.5 years old so is super clean and modern. Downstairs consists of a spacious open plan living area with bi fold doors leading out onto a little balcony and grassed courtyard. A great sized kitchen with stone benchtops, gas cooking & stainless steel appliances. There is also a laundry & toilet/powder room downstairs. Upstairs you will find 3 generously sized bedrooms. Both of the bedrooms up for rent have a double wardrobe, ceiling fan and ducted aircon. The rooms are the same size. I have the master bedroom with an ensuite so you will just be sharing the bathroom with 1 other person. I also have the garage but if it is on your wish list you are welcome to have it for an extra $10 a week. Otherwise there is plenty of on-street parking. Bills are additional to rent but the house is pretty energy efficient so they never amount to much. Bond is $740. You will also need to be on the lease. Location wise, we are only 2 minutes walk from the newly renovated Newmarket Village which has a Coles, bottle-o, cinema, eateries etc. Less than 5km from the CBD. Our street is a no through road so it's nice and quiet. There is also a bikeway along the creek at the end of our street which practically takes you all the way into the city so it's excellent for cycling/walking etc. We are only a 2 minute walk from bus stops on Enoggera Rd with buses that run regularly and get you into the city within 15 minutes. So what am I looking for in a housemate? Someone around the same age, clean and tidy, sociable but also respectful of privacy. This is definitely not a party house. Also, bonus points if you have a couch and/or dining table as both belong to the housemates moving out. If this sounds like you, please do get in touch. Happy to answer any other questions you might have. PS. Please note that furnishings differ from those pictured. EDIT: 1 room has now been filled by a male in his 20's
Uni student looking to rent a room or 1bedroom property for 6 months or less. Preferred to live with easy going, respectful and well maintained people to keep home clean and tidy.
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events for Staging Connections. I've currently been living in the same share house for the last 3 years and two months. I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. I would like to play more music at home and be able to set up a guitar / bass guitar in a corner of the house somewhere. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries and on-line TV series (I'm currently into The Handmaid's Tale). In the past I've organised a small Game Of Thrones night so we could watch the latest episode but also to bring people together. I like to do yoga in the park, meditate at home on a regular basis and usually attend a meditation centre on the weekends for group meditation.
Need a place with a place to park my car, and near Bowen hills for my work. Would like someone I can have a few drinks on the weekend with, probably on the more social side. Honestly I'm not great at writing these things.
Fully Self Contained Downstairs 'Flat'. Own entry, bathroom, kitchen, living room including huge 55’ TV, treadmill, exercise bike, BBQ. Internet, bills included. Downstairs only used by us occasionally as it is our family home. 200m to Newmarket Village, Coles, cinemas, train station or bus stop. *photos are of downstairs 'flat' area
I'm an organised, understanding, and free-spirited young female - looking to move out with like-minded people. I work full time, and enjoy outdoor adventures on my weekend/s, along with the occasional beverage. Wanting to move out of my parent's home in the next month or so... not in any sort of rush to organise a place at this stage.
G'day I'm pretty new to Brisbane and loving it. I am hoping to find a room to move into asap! I need to move by the 28th. I'm a pretty chilled out bloke, clean and respectful. I do like to throw around some banter and have a bit a laugh also. I'm looking for the same kind of people, easy to get along with and good vibes. I'm working full time in Kedron, usually playing sport 4 nights a week and starting uni soon.
Hello! I am moving out of my lovely room in this beautiful and massive house very close to the city and the QUT Kelvin Grove campus. The room is available now but this is flexible until the 6th of July. This spacious house has a massive deck to hang out on, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining area and a big and comfy living room :) Under the house there's lots of space for storage and creative space.. we have been using it to make art, but could be used for anything. The house is super close to Aldi and Newmarket Village, with Coles, bunch of places to eat, the movies, doctors, pharmacy, etc. There's also lots of parks around and the creek runs through around here with the bikeway all the way to Enoggera and the City, via Herston...lots of lovely places to walk around and hang out if you love being outside :) Banks street reserve is also nearby! Public transport is great with 390, 345 and a few other buses stopping just around the corner from our street very regularly. Bills are pretty cheap, as it splits in 4 ways. Internet is $15 dollars/ month... Weeknights are pretty quiet as everyone is busy working during the week, on the weekend we hang out sometimes, and every now and then we do things together like bush walks or climbing. Looking for someone who keeps the common areas clean after themselves, someone respectful and easy-going :)
1. Awesome house mates. 2. The house is very large but super easy to clean because it is brand new. 3. Proximity to EVERYTHING. 4. The train station is less than 500m away, perfect for commuters. 5. Only rule is it is Not a party house!!
I am nice and respectful, I like a clean and tidy place to live, I like to hang out with the flatmates but also like my privacy, Generally, I'm easygoing

I work part-time at Woolworths and am looking to start studying in 2019. When I'm not at work you'll usually find me playing PlayStation or hanging out with mates. I'm pretty social and get along with pretty much anyone I meet. Happy to go out for drinks or anything like that, however I also like to have my privacy at times and am able to respect others' as well. I'm hoping to find a place with a couple of housemates that I can get along easily with and hope to make some new friends.
Hello! My housemates and I (all aged between 24 and 26) are on the hunt for a fun, friendly, respectful housemate to join our 5 bedroom Newmarket home. We are flexible with the move in date, as long as it’s end of June / by mid-July. The house is a huge 2 storey place with offstreet parking. - The room is large, light filled and unfurnished - 3 living areas, with the upstairs entertaining area opening up onto a deck and courtyard with a fire pit - 2 bathrooms and an additional 2 powder rooms - Across the road from the train station and walking distance to Newmarket village.
I'm a 21 yo studying Environmental Management and hoping to find either a sharehouse to join, or some great people to team up with for around November. In my spare time I love to doodle in a sketchbook, go walking, plan my next travel adventure, and sing with my choir. Big science nerd, but have a creative side at the same time so I hope a bit of singing around the house is ok! As a housemate I always clean up after myself and keep common spaces tidy, respect people's space and need for privacy, but am also up for a good chat whether it's with a cuppa tea or glass of wine in hand. Would ideally be looking to share with people who have the same values and want to keep an environment that's friendly and comfortable :) Will add that I'm looking for housemates who are open minded and lgbt+ friendly as I am trans & genderfluid - Don't have pets myself, but open to sharing with cats - Non-smoker, but open to sharing with smokers - Working in China until late October
