Hi! My name is Ellyn, I'm 26 years old and a full time worker (Monday - Friday). I am friendly, easy going and tidy. I like to be social but like my own space as well and respect the space of those around me. I am normally at home weeknights but get out and about on the weekends seeing family and friends etc. Looking for somewhere around the start or May, ideally close by to public transport for work and not too far from the City. At this point I am not looking to join or take over a lease, however happy to pay my share and complete a rooming or co-tenant agreement for RTA purposes. If there are any questions please contact me anytime. Thanks - Ellyn
Hey room hunters – me and my two housemates have a great room that’s becoming available around 31st May (dates are flexible). We live smack bang in the middle of Newmarket. The property is across the road from Newmarket Shopping Centre – literally a one minute walk and you’ve got Sushi Edo, Grill’d, Nandos, Homeslice, Coles, not one but TWO bottle shops, a bakery, a doctors, a physio (comes in handy!), a pharmacy and essentially every human need can be fulfilled with the shops there. The house also falls within a great Uber Eats area and you can order pretty much anything you feel like (hellllo bao from Kwan Brothers). In terms of location, we’re a quick drive away from the city and its surrounds – an Uber home averages around $12. There’s also a bus stop just around the corner on Enoggera Road from the house that will take you to the city and QUT Kelvin Grove pretty much every five minutes. The room itself is super large for the $110 price tag. It can comfortably fit a queen bed and extra furniture. It has two large windows and a built in wardrobe. The bathroom is also large (and has a window which should never be underappreciated). You would share the bathroom with two girls (I have my own) however there is an extra toilet downstairs. The kitchen is great and supplied with all cooking utensils etc. We have a fridge AND a separate freezer. Downstairs also has a dining area, a lounge room with a shared TV, and a washing machine. Parking is on the street but for the most part there are no issues getting a space. We’re looking for someone to replace our current housemate on the lease, which renews end of February 2018. The agency has always been good about renewing the lease (it’s currently on its 4th renewal, I think?!) and that would most likely be the plan for next year. Rent is $110 a week, internet is $15 a month and electricity is around $130 ish a quarter. Only Australian residents aged 24 and over please. If studying, we’d also need you to be working permanently (for our peace of mind re: paying the rent).
Quiet, reserved, reliable(rent on time or direct debit)l need to be give a break/chance.l can afford the 2 weeks rent just bond is bit hard.lam tidy, clean,do general maintenance, yard work and cleaning. I was born in Australia, and l have lived in qld for over 26 years.lam currently about to attend tafe mid year and going to study a fulltime diploma in community services.I enjoy BBQs love food, enjoy social drink every once in a while to break the monotony.
I'm a house trained male, I'd even go as far as to call myself a domestic goddess. I enjoy cooking and casual drinks. Don't have any pets, but if a property with a yard opens up I'm down to get a basset hound if you're cool with it. Looking for a 2 bedroom house or apartment. I have all the main household goods and a shit load of kitchen gear
I'm 23. I work full time in IT in the city, so looking for somewhere close. Really easy going. The lease at my current place ends on the 6th of August so looking to move around then, Would prefer to live with cool people that want to hang out/do stuff!
Hey, We currently have one bedroom available in this fully furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom sharehouse. The house itself is an open floor plan with a massive private deck for entertaining looking onto surrounding rainforest. The room is very spacious and can be available fully furnished with a queen bed, built in wardrobes and a large ensuite . The price is fully inclusive of bills and internet! No Bond. Location is in Newmarket 3.5km from city on Northside of Brisbane. It is on the boundary of Kelvin Grove in a very quiet tropical location adjoining to parks and bike ways. In addition, the house is in close proximity to shops QUT, shops & public transport. You will be living with a couple from the UK who are friendly, clean, fun and myself. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any more questions or would like to organise a time to inspect the property. Thanks! Jono.
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
I am 25, clean, self employed as a personal trainer and I also train full time as a muay thai athlete. I am kind and considerate, I am social and friendly, but I also enjoy and respect personal space. I think the most important thing about sharing a home with somebody is that everyone feels as comfortable as possible, and communication is open. 😊
Hi, I'm Tj. I am a student studying at QUT in the creative area. I am a musician and love to chill out and listen to music on the weekend. I also have a love for anime and books. Pretty quiet, considerate and clean person and also very busy so would be in and out. Looking for people who wouldn't mind me having guests/my partner over occasionally and would respect my need for space and a generally quiet household (particularly during the week, don't care as much on weekends). Prefer bills included up to $160 but would consider without if rent was low enough to allow the cost of bills. Don't mind living with guys or girls. Thanks
Clean, respectful and easy going. note- 6 months is selected as a minimal time frame :)
***Please be aware of the move date*** I am a teacher, currently studying my masters full-time. This means I am home a lot when not working (short-term contracts), visiting family or travelling. For the most part, I put most of my energy into my research. I am looking to share with 1 or 2 like-minded females (or landlord couple/family). I can live with: * females (quiet, respectful) * non-smokers (non-negotiable) * no partying, excessive drinking, etc * drug-free household * a cat I want to live somewhere where I feel safe and comfortable. Basically someone who has a lifestyle that doesn't impose on mine, or impact my overall well-being. I appreciate others with similar values, and are considerate of their housemates. I have a long-term partner who lives away for work, so no random overnight guests on my part. I like: * a tidy home * tv/netflix/board games/reading in my downtime, I am sociable but a frugal introvert at heart * hikes and walks in groups * cooking (but this is often a once-a-week meal prep) * yoga * sense of humour * people who are down-to-earth - not afraid to communicate in order to achieve balance and happiness in the house. If sharing with a landlord couple (preferably separate living spaces i.e. upstairs/downstairs) - I am able to pay my rent well in advance in exchange for a rent reduction. I know you have bills to pay too so if you're looking for a reliable income, I can give you that piece of mind!
Hey guys, We’re looking for a 4th member to turn this trio into a …quartet???? We’re all students (one soon to be graduating) and are looking at moving to a property in Wilston (a bus stop away from QUT Kelvin Grove) as our current lease is ending. 2 of us are Creatives and one is a Law/Business student. We all love to hang out together e.g. get food, go to gigs and festivals together and would love to find a housemate that loves doing what we do. We also enjoy down time (aka netflix binging) and personal space. If you’re a student this will be the perfect place for you. The max each person would be paying pw would be $160 :) If you think we’d get along send us a message and we’d love to meet you!
I'm quiet, tidy and hardly home! I work full time and study at QUT. Looking to sign a lease for 6-9 months (preferably until February). Looking at 2 bed 2 bath apartments/houses with car parking.
BORN IN BRISBANE, NOT BANGALORE.... ;) (I've actually got a Fiji-indian background) Marketing executive (professional) who likes hanging out, having my own time and engaging in great conversations. I'm clean, pull my weight around the house and respectful of your possessions. Will be your Netflix buddy, drinking buddy and all round rad dude to have around. I'm fairly easy to get along with and am known to make people laugh and smile. Would like a place with a friendly atmosphere so can come home for a chat at the end of the day. Essentially would be nice to have more of a home that just a room to sleep in.
The property is a three bedroom house of which we will be using the main leaving you with one bedroom and the bathroom to yourself. The bedroom had a built in wardrobe, some views of the surrounding area, ducted air conditioning and ceiling fan. We will be using the third room as an office. There is a dishwasher and balconies and a water tank that will save a bit on water. We are happy to pay for the internet usage but water and electricity will be split equally (which will be less due to the water tank). PS. The photos are not of our furniture!
‼️LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AVAILABLE FOR JUNE!‼️ Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself sinceI was 17 but as I'm home so little, I don't see the need for a place of my own and decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate when my lease ends in June. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights. I go out maybe every few weekends but I am respectful and quiet I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be friend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. But just because I like my alone time doesn't mean I'm not open to making a new friend and, I love to have a good laugh and hang out sometimes! I do have a cat named Cleo, she is really sweet but does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
