Hi! I'm a British backpacker on my second year working holiday visa, looking to lay down some roots in the best city in the world! Where I live and for how long is very open to negotiation. I'm house shared enough to know when to clean and when to let a plate in the sink go. I'm independent and have friends here but always keen for a chat and tea/wine. That's a long winded way of saying I'm not needy. An arbitrary list of likes of demanded by this website: writing, halloumi, the beach, the bush. I'm pretty standard.
Hi there! I'm Josh, 22 – young professional working in technical support. Currently looking for a place to move into after I get back from travelling on the 23rd of May. I'm clean, tidy, respectful and pretty laid back. During the week I work full time and on weekend I’m generally out catching up with friends or just chilling. I like to have a good chat but also respect others space. Feel free to contact me :)
Social, clean, respectful, non smoker. Full time worker at newstead looking for a new place as my current lease is up mid July and looking for a change 😊 Happy to house with another single or more and prefer to be close to the citycat/ferry. Looking for an unfurnished room as I have half a house full of furniture that will go into storage. Looking to share with someone social hut who also enjoys their own space too.
My names Matt 29 from Newcastle, I have recently separated from my partner who I have children to (I will visit them at there mums place) I am still currently living with my ex partner, this is why i need a place soonish! I am a full time worker in the construction industry. I am easy going fun and clean guy that doesn't mind a good time or a chat. I can respect people's privacy and alone time. I will be out most nights after work and probably in and out during the weekend. I am happy for long or short term I just need to make a move as soon as possible. If there's a room that already has a bed that would be awesome but not an issue if you don't. If you would like to know more just let me know.
I work full time in the Valley during the week in a HR position. I am pretty chilled with others and like to have a tidy and clean house. My current lease ends July 7th so looking for a solid roommate to live with around the valley/city area. Keen to chat!
I'm Megan, 23 and from Scotland :) I'm easy going and love to chill out. I have no pets and do not smoke. I work full time for Health Care Australia so due to my shift work I'm rarely home. But if you see me I'm always up for a chat and socialising. I am very organised and tidy, I like to keep myself to myself but would enjoy some company now and again also.
I'm extremely tidy and clean regularly. I'm respectful of other people's space but am normally social. I work in the city and when I come home I generally work out, cook and watch TV. I'm gone at least one weekend a month, usually two, visiting friends and family on the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. I'd prefer to live with just one person but am open to more. Happy to answer questions if you want to know more.
Myself and my girlfriend Madeleine are looking for housemates to team up with close to the city, preferably in West End, Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, Newstead, New Farm or Teneriffe (but we are happy to look elsewhere if need be). We're both 23 this year and work in the city in finance/economics. We're clean and tidy, active, and love cooking, coffee and music. We won't be home much during the week, and like to spend the weekends outdoors or catching up with friends (preferably over brunch or wine). We're looking to share a furnished 2bdrm, 2bath, inner city apartment close to public transport around the $450-$600 p/w mark. Would love to hear from you if you're like-minded! - we're happy to chat or catch up for a coffee.
Hi there! I'm Ash. Looking for a new place to call home in July. I work in the media/advertising industry as a Client Business Manager, managing a client portfolio of well known brands. General work hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. Occasionally I'll have work social functions during the week. I enjoy relaxing at home on weekends as my week can get pretty busy, but I don't mind socialising and taking mini adventures when I have the energy! I go to the gym most days so enjoy keeping fit. I will give flat mates as much personal space and privacy as they need, but am always open to share a couple of bevs over dinner every now and then. Recently jumped on board the Netflix bandwagon, haven't looked back. Massive Games of Thrones fan. I'm self-reliant, independent and keep myself occupied. Hope to find like-minded people to live with! Ideally, would like to have my own bathroom so would be more interested in 2 bed 2 bath or ensuite rooms.
~ FULLY FURNISHED ~ Located a 1 minute walk from Newstead's trendy Gasworks precinct featuring Woolworths, Wine Emporium, coffee shops, restaurants and a City Glider bus stop with buses to the city every 5-10 minutes. Your bedroom is fully furnished and has a second balcony and a heaps of space inside a built-in wardrobe. It comes with a desk, office chair and queen bed. There is also a brand new AC unit in that room. The lounge and dining area is complete with an open plan kitchen, brand new dishwasher, stainless steel appliances along with a large entertainers balcony. The living area is furnished with all the basics (TV, couch, dining room) but there's tons of space in this apartment to add more furniture if you have it. Bus stops are nearby and Uber anywhere cheap. Pizza delivery takes about 20 mins. It's an amazing location, up on level 3 so there's a good breeze. Apartment has heavy security. Keys to get in everywhere and we have security screens. I don't have a car so you'll have full use of the secure parking space downstairs and there's a storage cage with ample space in the basement for any big items you want to hang onto. Rent is $255 per week and can be paid directly to me, no need to fill in a lease application. Unlimited internet is an extra $5 per week and any bills would be split down the middle. My lease ends in late July and I would be looking for someone to take over the lease from me at that point. So there would be no tenancy application process right now or bond, and I could help you look for another tenant to replace myself when I leave the apartment (probably first week of August). There would be a bond of 4 x weeks required at that point ($2040 split between you and another tenant, so $1020 each). If this sounds like you, let's chat!

Bonjour guys, originally from the south of France I have been living in Brisbane for about 8 years. I am looking to move out of a place I own to rent it out and enjoy the company of great flatmates so I am flexible with my moving date. I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. I am also a people's person who enjoys socialising and sharing great conversations. I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach, the outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, movies, formula 1 and trying new things. I hope to find like minded flat/housemates who are clean and respectful. Lastly I would prefer a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need a locked garage please. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)

I am looking to move out with someone at the end of July. I am looking to rent a new two bedroom, two bathroom and have the master room with ensuite :) I would like to meet the right roommate so coffee or meeting to make sure we get along would be awesome! I work as an event manager and I am often very busy or away for 5 days at a time. I would love to live with someone who is respectful of my furnishings as I have mostly everything for the humble abode and all I would need to buy is a new fridge. Most of my furniture is industrial sheek :) I am tidy and always clean up after myself. I am super friendly and mostly chill when I home home from work but I do occasionally go out. I enjoy going to the gym, rap music, going to the coast, watching netflix and wine and cheese.
Hellllooo future housemate! I am outgoing, open-minded, love to meet new people, always have something positive to say, love soulful conversations and supporting my friends! I am moving to Brisbane from the Gold Coast for my new exciting job in Newstead and do not have any pets (even though I'd love to have them). I spend my Tuesday and Thursday nights dancing, other nights I may be cuddled up in bed watching a movie, reading a book, doing work, socialising or at the gym. I am also not a big drinker, but happy to have an occasional glass of wine (or cider or rum) and do not club much. I do love music though and you will probably find me singing or dancing around my room and if there are people over I'll either be socialising with you or in my room doing my own thing (if that's what you prefer). I truly value home as being a personal space to relax and unwind or to grind and get work done. I am interested in finding a room of my own in a share house with like minded, fun and mature individuals or teaming-up! :D

Relaxed professional here. FT employed. Ideally, I would like to team up with someone (or 2 others) and find a quality apartment for $250-$300 each. That should be big enough to give everyone ample space to themselves. I'd appreciate a car space only because my car is relatively new. Pretty chilled during the week and generally enjoy a drink or two on the weekends. If you wanna know more, happy to meet
Hi Ya I'm Suzanne, 27 originally from Ireland but have been living in Melbourne and now I'm making the move to Brisbane and by trade I'm a designer/retoucher. I'm making the move on the 16th of May so currently house hunting. I'm easy going, can talk and get on with anyone, and I'm up for a laugh. I respect people's privacy, as we all know everyone needs to have down time but would love to live with people who enjoy a cheeky wine on the weekends or cheesy tv/movie some nights. I enjoy a night out but I definitely wouldn't be a party animal, got that out of my system at uni, plus my body wouldnt allow even if I wanted too lol I'm clean and tidy, I have no problem slotting into the house routine. I initially plan to stay around 3 months in Brisbane but I'm willing to work with people and timescales I'm happy to answer any questions or team up with other like minded people on the house hunt x
