I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I'm currently studying fitness and operate a women's adventure activities group. I'm not fitness crazy though, I'm all about balance and just doing what feels good. I like to cook, read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running as well as anything that means I get to be in the sunshine. I'm equally happy on my own as in the company of others so I enjoy a house dynamic that's both social (not after party to 5am social though) but also relaxed and quiet. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home. Ideally I'm looking for a place with 1-2 housemates, for a minimum of 6 months. My move dates are flexible but preferably it would be great to find something by the end of November
Hello. My name is Tobias, I'm 24 years old and come from Germany. On the 1st of November I will start to research at the university of Melbourne. I guess I'm open minded, friendly and want to have a good time in Australia, because it's the last time befor I will write my thesis and gonna work.
Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
(Short term from 22 Dec 2016 -26 Jan 2016) Feel at home in our cozy apartment in North Melbourne. Public Transport will take you to city centre in 10 minutes. You’ll love my place because of the location, the kitchen, the full view of Dockland (Firework on New Year), the unlimited wifi connection and parking . My place is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids). If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
Quiet person looking for a place to settle. Clean and tidy, mature, and respectful of others' space. Enjoy good books, movies, music and conversation. Looking for a place in the northern suburbs, close to the city (e.g. North Melbourne, Brunswick), and sharing with one other. A must is to live in a smoke-free and wild party-free environment (for health and sanity). Cheers!
I'm moving to Melbourne to work for a cool cloud software company - kind of fell into the software world by chance despite having a degree in biology, but I've been told I'm a good teacher, and have been working the last couple of years in implementing software for customers around the world! LOVE travel, music, a good laugh (maybe too much), nature, and driving - in fact, I don't know how I'm gonna survive in Melbourne without my car, but I'll have to learn to let go of my attachments......
Hey! Little about me: my name is Hamad, I’m a 21-year-old international student studying my bachelors in IT and Business at RMIT. Originally from Saudi Arabia and lived a few years in the states, so I’m fluent in both English and Arabic. Enjoy going outside and being active, like playing basketball, swimming, hiking, anything really. I like to believe I’m a good housemate, tend to keep my place clean and tidy as a go, and rarely leave it for later. Despite being in IT I’m very sociable and easy to get along with haha.
Hey there, I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to do my postgrad at Uni of Melb in January 2017. I consider myself a pretty tidy and organised person, who loves cooking and socialising but definitely respects other people's privacy. I would love to live with others who are outgoing and sociable, and of similar age to me.
I've moved to Melbourne last week and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term along with my friend Marta. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I will be working two jobs most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician) but I've done hospitality work too so I'll be getting a pub job as well. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. Marta is 26, also Polish. Has been here 3 weeks and moved from Sydney where she lived for 6 years. She works full time in marketing in Richmond area. Thanks in advance!
I am super quiet, very clean and tidy and really only need this place for 2-3, max 4 nights per week. The rest of the days I'll be in Geelong helping nan out. I work nightshift therefor will arrive home in between 6-830 in the mornings and sleep almost of the day, so you'll barely know I'm there 😊🌻💁🏾
Incredibly tidy, respectful and quiet however I am always up for drinks and television. Plays video games and listens to metal. Out a lot and am pretty chill and easy going.
I'm a fun outgoing gal, who loves chilling with friends but also loves a good netflix binge. I work full-time in advertising and am also doing my Masters in International Business.
We are looking for a single or a couple to take our beautiful master bedroom in North Melbourne. A bit about the house: This is a spacious, neat and tidy sharehouse. The three bedrooms are upstairs. Your bedroom would be the front room, which has BIRs, and has a private door to a large bathroom that you would share with Olga. It also has a balcony, and two sets of double french doors making the room bright and airy. It is the largest bedroom in the house. Downstairs are the shared front room/study, kitchen, lounge room, and courtyard. The downstairs floors are floorboards, there are wooden benches in the kitchen, and a shady and pretty courtyard to relax in after work. The neighbours are friendly and quiet. The house is always open to having people over, as long as you check with Olga and Matt first. The location is hard to beat. It is less than a minute walk to 55, 19, and 59 tram stops, 4 minute walk to the University of Melbourne, 10 minute walk to the Errol street shops, 10 minute walk to the Vic markets, 15 minute walk to Melbourne Central and the CBD. Rent for a single would be $265 a week, or for a couple is $307 a week, and bond is $1084. The contract is month to month so you have flexibility if you need to leave, but preference would be given to someone who would stay for at least 6 months. Bills are shared evenly with everybody (gas, electricity, water and internet). You would need to be approved by the landlord to live here but we have never had an issue with that in the past as long as you have an income, savings, or a guarantor. We are moving out on the 6th of November in the morning so the house is yours from then. There is also a private garage for storage for a single car, which would be an extra $10 per week. If you don’t need the car space, Olga and Matt would like to rent the car space out, as it is separate from the house, which would decrease everybody’s rent slightly. We have loved living here. The lifestyle of being so close to the city and uni is beautifully paired with the comforts of having a quiet, private house with two easy going housemates. We only leave because we want to start a family. The room is not furnished so you would need to provide your own furniture. Downstairs is partly unfurnished as well (as we are taking our furniture to our new place) so anybody willing to provide their own fridge, couch, dining table, washing machine and/or TV will be given extra consideration. However other arrangements can be made with Olga and Matt about purchasing new/used furniture cheaply if you don’t have any already. Please don't hestitate to contact us for any information! We will organise to show you the house and meet Olga and Matt if you are interested. Phoebe and John
Spanish girl. I have been in Melbourne for a year now. My current flatmates are moving out and taking all the fornituras with them, so I though it may be easier to move somewhere else rather than trying to accommodate the current house. I do own my bedroom furniture, but not the rest. I work full time and I usually stay at work until late as I am also finishing my PhD and I am always busy. I have lots of friends, so when I have time I like to socialise with them. Thus, I am barely at home. I do not cook, I am clean, organised and respect privacy and my flatmates as if they were family! I am looking for something close to work as I like to ride there and close to Melbourne University, where I go to the gym. An important part of my life as well. I love traveling, outdoor activities and meeting new people.
I am a professional practicing full-time visual artist with a studio in the CBD. I am polite, repectful and like to keep my home tidy. I enjoy having a drink of an evening and cooking a good meal. Although I keep to myself a lot I am happy to sit back and enjoy good conversation with good people in my down time. I have a beautiful russian blue cat who is striclty indoors so I need to accommodate her if possible.
Hello future Flatmates, I'm looking for a nice, clean modern home with awesome flatmates. About me: 32 from Mexico, been living in Sydney for the past 3.5 yrs, just launched a small Advertising Agency, and recently landed an important contract here in Melbourne. I'm pretty easy going, clean, tidy, respectful, into fitness and health, have a good sense of humor, like going out for drinks and dancing. I'm looking to get settled in ASAP so please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Thanks! Enrique
Very Easy going , calm and a very clean person to live with . I don't mind pets or couples but other than that I am looking for an all female share only. I am very friendly and not fussy at all.

Hello! I'm looking for a new home for long term, 6 months + in November and the date is negotiable. I'm full-time employed and always busy, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, so I can't afford living in a party house but do enjoy the dinner gatherings, and don't mind your friends come over for that, just not a party house. I'm very clean and tidy, friendly and open-minded. I like to social when I'm around. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who is clean and tidy and knows how to respect others in a shared house. Ideally I could live with the similar age housemates 28+ respectful individuals. Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. No party house, no drama please. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to, no stalkers, no nannies. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, meow in the house is very welcome! Feel free to PM me, thank you!
I'm originally from the Perth, and I'm here in Melbourne to study at university. I am a clean and organised person; I enjoy studying at the university libraries and in my room and I like my own space- so I will definitely respect your space as well. I do however like to be social from time to time- I enjoy listening to people, I like to bake and cook, play on the piano and recently I've gotten into yoga and running around Princes Park! I'm also collecting succulents at the moment! I'm a vegetarian (but not really strict, because I still eat fish from time to time). Though I am still in my teens, I assure you that I am more mature than my age and that I'm not interested in hosting parties or drinking until I get drunk.
Hello, nice to meet you! My name is David and I´m 29 years old. I just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to stay in a long term. The house is really good in summer, we have a nice backyard to hangout!!! also very close to public transport 57,55,59 trams, 200/207 bus and Macaulay train station, also to go to the city or the Queen Vic Market is walkable.
