Hello! :D Positive, clean, chill, open-minded and friendly - looking for someone similar who is up for some fun shared time but where we're also happy to do our own thing :) I'm wrapping up my Software Engineering degree in Sydney before I move to Melbourne sometime in June (tbd) for a full-time position (which I am currently working on a part-time basis, commuting almost every week). A few other things to note about me: I care about the environment so am always trying to consciously reduce my waste, and I loooove to cook and bake :) My ideal situation is to find 1-2 people, we get along well, and look for and move into an apartment together.
Hi, I'm Carolina, 20 years old and I'm from Amsterdam! Going to be studying in melbs and looking for a cozy and fun place to stay. I like to work out, cook together, party with friends but also relax and watch a show.
Hi, I'm Henry. I'm studying economics and mathematics at UniMelb.I love the natural walking, tennis, politics&history, board games, wines and eating out. During the week, I’m generally having classes at uni or studying at the library. On the weekends, I like to go outdoors.I’m easy going and tidy, looking to move in with like-minded people.
Hello This is Hee Jung and I'm an international student from Korea. Currently studying at Monash University Parkville campus. I'm looking for a place to stay during my second semester. I consider myself as a clean and quiet person. Not a party person. I like to watch movie, or netflix. Sometimes I enjoy cooking. My parents are supporting me financially, so never worry about late rent fees.
I am moving to Melbourne from Wellington NZ on May 26th. I am a piano player, love a little bit of graphic design, a decent vegan cook, and ride a motorbike. I'll be leaving my piano and bike behind in NZ to start new in Aus. I'd like to live somewhere I can cook, chat, and have some privacy, I can be just as social as I am independent - either way super considerate and easy going. Feel free to message me with any questions, I'm available to video chat before I arrive if you're keen. Cheers
Hi everyone, An unfurnished room is available in the convenient suburb of North Melbourne on the 1st of April! The rent is $815 per calendar month, which works out to $188 per week over the year. All bills are roughly an extra $25-30 per week (they vary throughout the year). The bond is $637. The room is a good size and can easily fit a large bed and other furniture. Our terrace house has a big backyard and a spare room with a bit of space for extra storage. While close to the city (a bit over half an hour’s walk away) we are in a quiet neighbourhood close to Royal park. The 57, 58 and 59 trams and the 402 bus are very close by. The Upfield line is also within walking distance. Our place is close to the CBD, Melbourne uni and the Royal Melbourne and Royal Children’s hospitals. We also have the convenience of a shopping strip very close by with a new Woolworths, post office and chemist.
Hi This is Ye. Now I am a student studying Master's degree in the University of Melbourne. I am open to meet many friends, exchange culture and idea but also respect flatmates' privacy. During study period I will be very busy. I like travelling, volleyball, music, guitar(learning lol) and cycling, yoga, etc. I can speak English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese fluently. Hope I can meet you one day! :) Cheers, Ye
Hi there, My name is Erica, a student from South America who has been living in Melbourne for over 3 years. Early Childhood Educator with business administration experience also working with hospitality; extremely adventurous, love motorbikes (got injured, healing now), traveling and exploring. One thing I love doing is connecting with people and networking/masterminding. Getting to know new cultures, new people, learn new languages (add on top of 5 maybe :) and share stories/experiences as it is a good way to start making new friends too so let me know if that appeals to you :) I'm looking for a private room with lots of daylight in a clean and tidy apartment or house not too far away from the CBD if possible. Fully furnished with a separate bathroom would be ideal. If possible near public transportation, gym, supermarkets, parks and even better if near the beach so I can introduce you my Paraguayan terere tea which will taste much better while sitting at the beach socialising :) I lived with other people for times and what I consider that makes me great to live with is that I'm a very flexible person, mindful, self aware of my own actions and of others. I'm comprehensive and a good listener. By all means, I respect your own space, your alone and quiet time, I always clean stuff I use and leave the shared places in the same way I found them, I'm careful with making noises and I follow the agreement within the housemates. On the other hand, I look for likeminded people who are self-aware and CLEAN too so that shared environments remain harmonious and enjoyable to all. I love to share my tradition from my mixed background (Paraguay, Brazil and German) with others, share stories and even going out sometimes for a few drinks, salsa dance, meet ups... but I also appreciate having my quiet moments where I like to spend time in my room working on my online business and concentrate on my studies. Lately I've been investing a lot of time in personal growth, mindset reprogramming, reading books, going to events such as Tony Robbins, Gary Vee... learning to meditate and find my inner peace. If you are a clean and tidy person who likes to live in a harmonious environment, NO smoker|drug consumer or a super party person; if you are SELF-AWARE and RESPECTFUL, then we should not have problems living together. I'm looking forward to meet my new family :) With warm regards, Erica
I'm a 29 Physiotherapist from Glasgow in Scotland. I've been in Melbourne for over 2 years now and plan to stay for a few more! I'm a fairly tidy person (without going overboard) and would be super chilled, considerate and respectful to live with. I'm looking for a room in an existing share house or to team up with someone else to find a good place.
Hi! My name is Rosalie and I am a 19-year-old Liberal Arts and Sciences student from the Netherlands. I will be studying at Melbourne Uni for one semester from July onwards and will be focusing on law and international relations. I am looking for a furnished room in a cozy (student)house to stay in for +/- 6 months. My hobbies include playing the piano, dancing, reading, and rowing. Back home I row on a competitive level and would love to continue rowing whilst being in Melbourne (on a less intensive level though)! This means that I cannot go out and party every day but I would love to have some flatmates who want to have dinner together and are in for the occasional drink or even want to go on trips through Australia. I am looking forward to my time in Melbourne and hope to find some flatmates who will make my time there unforgettable!
