While looking for work and waiting to study Vet nursing I mostly spend my time volunteering at various animal organisations to further my knowledge. I guess I am a down to earth, open, honest person. I love to laugh, smile, read and sketch.. Im a bit of a geek when it comes to games, although I don't play as much anymore. Creating things is my hobby, whether its a planting something just to watch it grow or a painting some furniture, small or big I am always actively doing something. Im a bit of a klutz and air head at times *forgetful* but very adaptable. I love to see others happy and believe honesty is the best way when living with anyone. I like constructive criticism, to discuss, Im always looking to better myself. I love to get to know any person.. but I would like to live with people that I can maybe collaborate with. I have two cats, Elye and Monk, they are beautiful and pleasant to be around, the least pushy, most visibly appreciative cats.Funnily enough even people that don't usually like cats become fond of them, they're just so unique and random. Oh, I have a heap of furniture that is in storage. This huge double door fridge, a 1 door fridge probably suited for outdoors, an 8 seater beautiful oak table, bookshelves, a washing machine and a few other cute bits and bobs. It would be great to get them out but if they aren't needed its no biggie. As I mentioned, I love to get to know people but I also love it when people take the time to know me. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions :)
Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
I'm doing a PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. Australia is a very generous country so they decided to give me a salary/scholarship, which means that I can always pay my rent and bills in time, without having to rob any Woolies. In my spare time I like to do sports (running, swimming, yoga, soccer etc), annoy people around me playing my guitar, read books and travel as much as I can even if that just means going for on an adventure to the nearby pub. This is my 5th year living abroad in shared houses, before coming to Melbourne I lived in Ireland and Canada, so I am an international expert in the art of sharing a house. I value a lot the relationship with my housemates, so I'm looking for a bunch of people I can feel comfortable with, inside and outside the house, sharing dinners, drinks, lazy afternoons and any random moment life brings about. Luckily I also know how to respect others' privacy so I promise I won't follow you inside the bathroom. Living in a clean house is fundamental for me, so I hereby solemnly commit to put my efforts in keeping the place tidy and neat, and cleaning regularly.
Hello potential housemates, I am a very relaxed and easy going person, who is clean and tidy. After many years in hospitality I am well drilled in cleaning up as I go. Currently working at Aust Post. I have it set up so rent and bills are always paid on time. I enjoy people's company and also enjoy chilling out doing my own thing to. I keep my life interesting doing many different things eg. Improv acting, improv dancing, gym, yoga, just learn't how to scuba dive this year. Once I am settled into a new place I will reassess my bucket list! I have a big emphasis on eating healthily, I look after myself well and enjoy cooking. (Saying that, still enjoy beer, nice wine and night out.) I follow the Bombers in AFL, you can decide if that is good or bad! Looking to live with similarly relaxed, open, easy going people. I can communicate and connect with a broad range of people, ages, female or male. One of my philosophy's in life is to find and surround myself with good, genuine people, this I am pretty successful at. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Ben
Joel and I are a fun, musical and kind couple who would love to find a place to live for the next year or so. Joel is a Swedish citizen on a working holiday and I am an Australian citizen working and studying close to the city. We both love music and film, science and learning something new every day. Joel is quite the handyman with blacksmith, carpentry and allrounder skills and I am a brilliant cook and a sweet little singer. We would love to live in a house that enjoys music and having a glass of wine at the end of the day with stimulating conversation. We are both incredibly respectful, polite and quiet humans who value personal space and time and who clean up after themselves, every time. We like to go out and be active in the community, we like to see concerts and try new foods and explore the outdoors! All in all we are straight forward people who are pretty pleasant to live with!
I'm clean, and very quite. I do like to cook and generally prefer being outside exercising/hiking/walking etc. I do work pretty hard and I'm really not much of a party person. I prefer going out for dinner with friends or playing board games. I've just moved to Melbourne so I hope to explore a little. I've spent the last 6 years working overseas in international development so I've got some good stories. I do plan to travel a lot with work so I might be gone for up to 15 weeks of the year. I really would prefer to share with only one other person as I'm not super keen on sharing a bathroom between 3 or 4.
Hey hey. I’m Felix. I’ve been working at the University of Melbourne since I finished my studies there last year. I studied Psychology, which I am passionate about! I also love music, especially playing guitar, acoustic rock, jazz, pop, classical, it doesn’t matter. In my spare time I like to write songs, play jam sessions, record bands, and go to gigs. Open Studio in Northcote is one of my favorites. I’m most interested in starting a share house, because you can live with people you get along with, and you can really find some good places to live. A few years ago my friend and I found a place where I got two rooms. Anyways, I am looking for a one-year lease to begin with. Hit me up and we can talk/meet up. Have a good one!
Big Room in a beautiful terrace home in North Melbourne. It's in the perfect location, we walk to vic markets, the cbd, the unis, lygon st and just around the corner is errol st cafes, shops and restaurants. Just nearby are two major tram routes and across the road there are the biggest parks in the city. The house is sweet, the kitchen separates it in the centre so we each have our privacy and out back is a courtyard with tables, couches and a gas heater. Single price is $225pw (+25pw bills) Couple price is $280pw (+47.50pw bills) The bills price includes unlimited internet, utilities, netflix and stan, and house consumables.
I am a people person and I love a bit of community (that includes the TV show as well). I'm a muso, like to get around and explore the city and sneak in a few basketball games while I'm at it. I work full-time as a UX designer and I'd like to think I'm fairly clean and organized and hopefully, I'll be a good laugh too. Cheers!
Hi! I am a University of Melbourne student from Malaysia. I will be starting my first year of Bachelor of Science degree on the 24th of July. However I will be arriving Melbourne before the 24th and would like to move in a place as soon as possible. I find it lowkey weird that I am about to say all these nice things about myself but here you go. Firstly, I feel like I adapt very well to the environment I am in. If my flatmates are chatty I'm always down for a chat but, if they are quiet I'll most probably be quiet too. Next, I would say that my tidiness level is above average. I will always clean after myself (the kitchen, bathroom, living space, etc.). Therefore, I'd prefer to live in a clean and neat place. However, I can't ever see myself ever starting an argument over a tiny mess. Lastly, but most importantly, I am very open minded. I do not tolerate ignorance and any kind of hate towards any group of people. If you would like to know anything more about how I am as a flatmate, feel free to message me! Cheers!

Hi everyone, I am Philipp from Germany and I am looking for a room in a shared flat. Currently, I study at Melbourne University until July 2018. I'm a tidy, easy-going, open-minded, responsible and reasonable person who has experience with sharing a flat in Germany. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Philipp
I'm an international undergraduate student, on my last semester at UniMelb. I have been sharing a flat with others the past 2 years so I am very experienced, responsible and tidy around the house. I always pay rent and bills on time. I'm also social but polite and not too loud, I respect other people's privacy - because I understand I also need privacy. I don't smoke and party. I'll usually be out during the days either working or studying, and be home at nights binge watching on my laptop. I love to explore yummy food, visit markets/popups, and go to concerts :)
# Rental bio Hi ! I’m Chen. I saw your rental vacancy and am eager to inspect. 24 // Male //Perth born and raised //Sri Lankan Tamil ethnicity I can move in now or as late as August 31. I rocked up to Melbourne wide-eyed on July 24 but am currently rotting on my sister’s couch. I moved over here to study and so far I’m keeping my head down - mostly to avoid glimpsing my sis and her bf touch each other excessively. I’m technically here to complete a Master of Journalism, however a larger inspiration for the move was to get out of the inertia and monotony of my hometown. I fell in love with big cities and cultural epicentres after a recent trip to Toronto and NYC. My interests include psychology (which I have a bachelors in), hip hop, cinema, egg noodle soup, inhaling art and exhaling journal entries. I used to live with three friends from high school. We enjoyed drunken dancing, discussing Kendrick Lamar’s Damn and going through the BBC’s critics poll for the 100 greatest films of the 21st century. I’m clean and minimalist. I want to make the most of my time here - to meet diverse characters, have intoxicating conversation, inhabit new perspectives and be inspired by sublime views. If you think I’m a good fit, let me know. I’m keen to inspect. Cheers, Chen
I'm a final year student working part-time who's looking for a place to stay now that I've come back from exchange. During the week I will be pretty busy, but am always happy to have a chat/grab a coffee when free. I like to cook (mostly vegetarian, but I don't have a problem sharing a kitchen with people who aren't), binge-read and make travel plans I can't afford. I do have previous rental experience, and having lived in share-housing since my early teens, I can confidently say that I make a quiet, clean, drama-free housemate. Looking for a tidy property that's not a party house and preferably also non-smoking. I love animals, so if you have a pet/s that won't bother me in the least :)

I strive to keep myself neat and organised wherever possible and will respect your need for space and alone time.
