The place is a brand new apartment and no one has lived in it before, 2 bed rooms, 1 shared bathroom, 1 off street car parking (which you can have), a small balcony area, modern kitchen, laundry, and access to a rooftop entertainment/bbq area. The apartment is furnished. The room available is 2.8m x 2.6m, carpeted, comes with a built-in wardrobe, gets ample natural lighting, unfurnished. Rent is $1,152 per month, bond is $1,325. Bills and internet are not included within the rent. It is available now and prefer long term stay.
My apartment is located conveniently next to North Melbourne station and it is a quick hop to the city. The great thing about the property is that it is close enough to the city but not too close and provides a quiet place to relax and gather your energy and thoughts at the end of the day. Westerly facing the apartment is warm and bright in the afternoon and has pleasant views of the street below which has its old style charm. The bedroom is fully furnished with a brand new double bed and includes two external wardrobe chests including an inbuilt wardrobe area. On top of that the lounge room and kitchen is fully furnished with a large entertainment unit, 55 inch television, 3 seat chaise lounge and a fridge which I can share with you. I also have all the basic cooking utensils available and there is enough space and cupboards in the kitchen to store your food etc. Furthermore I have a top loader washer in the laundry which is located within the bathroom area. Included in the rent is access to netflix. Upstairs on the 6th floor of the apartment is a bbq area which is accessible to residents and it is useable up until 10:00pm. I'm a first year design student at the University of Melbourne, from Melbourne, looking for somewhere that's close to UniMelb of course. I'm pretty chill with most people, and relatively open minded, so as long as you're nice, respectful and clean up after yourself then we can probably get along! I'm quite creative (if me studying design didn't suggest that already), so I like to get artistic and make artwork and play music (ukulele and/or piano). If the music part might be an issue to you, then I'll refrain from being too loud but I usually am not anyway :) I will probably also invite my friends over occasionally, so hopefully you'll be ok with this
