Hey guys, I'm Sam, 22, I moved to Australia from England when I was little, I'm English by blood and Australian by heart. I'm a hard worker with my eyes set on the future, I've previously studied at university in Melbourne and currently I'm working part time, with around 4-5 shifts a week which keeps me busy. When I'm not working I love playing my guitar, exploring places I've never been and keeping my mind and my body healthy. I'm a caring person with a big heart who loves putting a smile on people's faces, I'm respectful of others feelings and needs and keep myself and surroundings tidy.
We both very easy going, clean, respect each others, really like traveling, love nature, food, movies, wine, cheese and chocolate for sure 😊
Hi I'm Julian, I'm 29 y.o graphic designer — I work full time at a design studio in Collingwood. I work standard hours and keep things pretty low key during the week, though I do enjoy the odd glass of wine in the evenings. On weekends I like to catch up with friends, get out to gigs or exhibitions, catch a film or just hang in the sun, and I play a bit of soccer too. I enjoy the party times but have toned it down a bit in recent years. I'm keen to experience life on the north side, with the added bonus of being closer to work. I'm a pretty easy going guy and prefer living a social environment where sharing meals and a drink or two on the w/e is encouraged.
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.

hey guys, my name is Montanna im a 20 y/o model from Perth WA and planning to move to Melbourne early next year. I'm looking to stay in Melbourne for at least a year to work full time, wanting to move somewhere not far from the city and easy public transport as I'm planning to work around there. I'm a friendly, bubbly person love to have a chat. I'm very clean and tidy. I'm hoping to find a place with friendly flatmates and great vibes. If you think i would be a great flatmate please let me know thank you :)
I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I like to cook, read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running as well as anything that means I get to be in the sunshine. I'm equally happy on my own as in the company of others so I enjoy a house dynamic that's both social (not after party to 5am social though) but also relaxed and do your own thing. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home. Ideally I'm looking for a place with 1-2 housemates, for a minimum of 6 months. My move dates are flexible but preferably it would be great to find something by the end of November
Our house just near Victoria market two store house down 2 rooms up is 3rooms convenient for city ,Melbourne uni ,RIMT , only walking 8 mins now have one room $210pw rent including Bill and Internet furniture the room only for one person thanks
I’m currently living in West Melbourne on the edge of the CBD. My current house mate is moving so I’m on the lookout for a new one. ***Location*** It is located on the corner of Dudley Street and William Street which means if you work in the CBD you’re probably at an absolute maximum a 30 minute walk from your office or if you're a student Melbourne Uni is only 10 minutes away or RMIT 5-10 (if you want to walk instead of catching the tram). Flagstaff station is 200 metres away and Melbourne Central station is a 5 minute walk away. There is also a tram stop right outside that runs down William street then through to the Domain Interchange. Or in the other direction it goes down Peel street and Flemington road providing access to Melbourne Uni, Royal Park and the hospital precinct. Dudley street also provides central access to all the major freeways while being far enough out of the city to avoid the worst of the congestion. There is a small supermarket and a bottle shop just next to the building. Also the Queen Victoria Market is directly across the road too. Plus a couple of Coles within a 5-10 minute walk. ***The Apartment*** The apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in a block of secure apartments built in the 1990s. Because of its age it’s pretty spacious by the standards of apartments in the CBD nowdays – about 130 square meters all up (as opposed to 65 for a standard 2 bed 2 bath). Major pieces of furniture for the communal areas are covered but if you wish to bring anything you’re more than welcome. Being directly across the road from Flagstaff gardens means that there is a sweet view from the lounge room and balcony over the park and of the city skyline. The apartment also has a swimming pool (which will be great for summer) and a relatively shitty ‘gym’. ***The Room*** The room is a double bedroom with built in robes across one entire wall. You could fit a double bed and a desk in if you have each against an opposing wall. You also get your own bathroom that is directly next to your bedroom. The wardrobe is also extremely spacious with full length mirrors. Permits are available for free unrestricted street parking if necessary. Also furniture in photo's has been rearranged, updated photo's coming.
Walsh Residence is located near Queen Victoria Market and Flagstaff Gardens. Melbourne University and RMIT are approximately a 15-minute walk away. It is in free tram zone to the Flinder station. My room is a private room for 1 person with built-in wardrobe and desk. The unit consists of 5-bedroom apartments surrounding an open courtyard and deck. It is two storeys high providing large common areas to relax in. Facilities include coin operated laundry, open air clotheslines, and secure bike storage. The low cost of the rooms coupled with their central location make this residence one of the city's best value in student accommodation. I would like to transfer my contract and you can continue the contract when is finished if you want. Importantly, I will provide the new tenant with a fan, heater, hanger, and some kitchen utilities. The price is 823/month including all bills and weekly cleaning.
I currently work in HR in the South east. I also volunteer in the city as a crisis counsellor so I keep pretty busy! I studied Psychology for a while, and I'm still thinking of continuing that in order to forge a new career path. I am currently looking for a longer-term home - I would love to be a part of a social household to satisfy my enegertic introverted personality, but not a "party house" (I'm a little old for that!) But I'd love to be able to have a drink and hang out with housemates sometimes.
Hello. My name is Tobias, I'm 24 years old and come from Germany. On the 1st of November I will start to research at the university of Melbourne. I guess I'm open minded, friendly and want to have a good time in Australia, because it's the last time befor I will write my thesis and gonna work.
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)

Hey there! I'm looking for a new place to move into towards the end of November, I would be more then happy to move into a private room or to start up a new share house! I'm bubbly and social, love a good chat and a good feed, maybe a drink or two, I work in hospitality and that requires me to be out a lot at night, but I do have a far amount of free time during the day and I will always have Sunday off! I'm use to this renting thing and paying bills so there's never a worry about me paying up on time, because I do live in an apartment in the city at the moment I actually have a fair amount of furniture, that can come with me or not. Also as a bonus I come with a beautiful low maintenance fish tank and a very adorable blue baby budgie! Peace! Jess x
I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.
Double story town house just next queen Victoria market quiet street one min walk to shopping 7mins walking distance to the university of Melbourne,RMITand Melbourne city centre. furnished big room $250pw including Bill and Internet
I'm a fun and confident guy interested in beginning my life in a city full of oppurtunity. I am oringally from rural Seymour, so I can bring a little country flair to our home (minus the akubra). I am planning on studing Business next year at RMIT, and am in the process of acquiring a part time/full time job. I love fashion, cosmetics, food and cooking, hard work and alcohol (important)! I am easy to live with, and enjoy a bit of cleaning (I'm inhuman). I value personal space, yet would also love to binge watch 'Orange is the new Black' with you accompanied with a LARGE glass of champagne.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
21, law and finance uni student, work a lot, clean and keeps to herself.
I'm a 29 year old kiwi girl, just moved to Melbourne and I am working full time in sports management, which is my dream as I am a massive sports fan! I have lived in several flats throughout my twenties and have always got along well with flatmates. I am easy going, happy to hang out in the lounge, talk shit, have a laugh and watch Netflix.. with wine, beer, tea and/or snacks.. definitely cheese. I am not a fan of cooking so I tend to throw together quick meals but I am good at cleaning! I like to spend my time watching, talking and reading about sport, seeing friends for food/drinks, exercising & sometimes just doing nothing haha. I am happy to socialise in the flat but also good at being independent. Ex-flatmate reference "Emily is a legend and we were sad to see her go!"
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a roommate not only to be a roommate but maybe a friend, a person to go out with and show me the city when you have the time, or even go on adventures. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
Available on the 11/11//16. Live within walking distance (20 mins) to the city, mins from Errol st, number 57 tram, and all Nth Melbourne has to offer. A very short walk to Nth Melb station, and about a 10 min walk (or easy tram ride) to the Queen Vic markets, with cheap, fresh produce and delicious deli munches. Close to Royal Melbourne, Women's, and the Children's Hospitals. The house has been freshly renovated, and its easy to keep clean. It is furnished, functional, has a backyard with loads of plants. It has two main bedrooms, a studio, a small playroom, living and kitchen combined. The bathroom has a good sized bath with shower over. The laundry is outside. You will have your own fridge and freezer. Parking permits available with house not currently used. I use data from my phone, but happy to get house internet. The bedroom is large, with double bed, desk, clothes rack, drawers and shelves, with also room to add other furniture. there is a t.v antenna and a phone connection in there (who still uses house phones??) . It also has heating. You would be living with myself and my four year old daughter. We are both very easygoing, and are out mostly during the daytime. I enjoy being social, but respect down time too. I am open minded, responsible, honest and respectful, and expect the same from a house mate. I enjoy being creative, and mostly have projects on the go. We are relaxed, clean, easy going and functional, and looking for the same. As I have a child, you would need to be kid friendly.. this involves being respectful to a small person, responsible, and understanding that this is not a party house. (friends coming over is more than cool though) She is away on most weekends, and I don't mind going out then myself! I am looking for an easygoing, balanced, responsible, honest, clean, busy (Studying and/or working) FEMALE (sorry guys) Pets would be considered if they could be compatible with the house. Short and long term rent is available, but would prefer long term. Rent is paid on the 27th of every month, so the first month will be cheaper. Full bond is required.
I've been living in shared housing for 7 years now. I work full time in hospitality so I'm not about too much but like to chill when at home. I'm looking for a private room ( no shared rooms thanks) somewhere which is walking distance/ has good late night public transport from the cbd due to work.
The flat is near southern cross station, tram stop is just 5 minutes away from the place. The property is near coles ,hungry jacks and other necessary outlets. There are no rules or regulation to follow during your stay. You will be sharing your flat with four others. Two girls and two boys.
Looking for a clean, reliable and friendly housemate. I work as an educator at different schools. I enjoy cooking and having a drink with my flatmates. I also love to bake for others! I'm pretty easy-going, very dependable, value privacy and a quiet setting. Let me know if you have any questions!
Born in Melbourne, I've been living in Japan for the past 4.5 years. I've come back home to do some animation / design work, and I'll be going back to Japan sometime early next year. Living in Japan has turned me into a cleaning machine!! I'm very minimalistic and I don't like to keep stuff lying around. I guess you could say, keeping things clean and tidy has become a bit of a hobby for me! I'm really easy going and sociable, and love meeting new people. I used to practice hip hop dancing a while ago, and I 'try' to hit the gym every now and then...
