Hello all! Up for rent is a spacious 1 bedroom unit with car space - it's technically in West Melbourne but basically on the fringes of North Melbourne and the CBD. It's in a very convenient location, about a 2-3 minute walk to the Queen Victoria Market, Free Tram Zone - so it's walkable to everything in the CBD, but without the noise and traffic. I have left my job in Melbourne so sadly have to move out of the unit. The apartment had brand new paint and carpet installed when I moved in (Jan 2017). It's on the second floor in a secure building and comes with an underground gated car space. The unit opens up into the dining room (3.4 x 2.4m), which is large enough to fit a table for 6 people. It has a full kitchen with a Bosch induction stove and dishwasher, pantry, and plenty of cupboard space. The living room is well lit and very spacious (5.8 x 3.7m) and includes the entry to a balcony. The bedroom (3.7 x 3.7m) is large enough to fit a king size bed and has an inbuilt wardrobe. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating units are in both the living room and bedroom. The bathroom has an overhead shower, bathtub and separate laundry area. It's at least as big as similarly priced 2 beds in the CBD, so it's a very large amount of space for a 1 bed (I've measured it around 60 square meters, excluding the balcony), and ideal for a single professional or couple. Rent is $450/wk ($1956/month) Bond is $1956 The apartment will be available from August 20 (most likely a few days earlier) and the lease is until Jan 19, 2018, with the option to extend month by month afterwards. Since it's a lease transfer, there will be a regular application process with the realtor. Please send a message if you would like to arrange a time to come and inspect!
My friend and I are looking for a place to live for the next 6 months! We're both Americans who moved to Australia and want to be close-ish to the city. We'll both be working full time but love to go out and be social in our down time!
Hey I'm lakin! I'm looking for a home more than I am just a house, I'm fun, bubbly and a really good laugh 😂 I love to clean (I'm not OCD) but I like to make sure everything around me is tidy haha I love a cheeky drink here and there and socialising with my house mates, but I'm also very respectful of boundaries. I pay my rent on time if anything earlier than expected and I just want some awesome room mates I can vent to about how shit my day was because I lost my myki, my socks were wet and I got to work 1 hour late 😂
I have a beautiful terrace house in West Melbourne, 5-minute walk to North Melbourne station, 10-minute walk to Vic Market or CBD, 15-minute walk to hospitals and Melbourne Uni, in a quiet, tree-lined street, with off-street parking. Perfect location close to everything! Bedroom is spacious, with shared bathroom. Kitchen and living/dining areas will be newly furnished. Entire house will have new flooring and freshly painted walls.
I'm very easy going. I like spending time with my flatmates, but I am also quite busy during the week. I never say no to a good chat though! I enjoy a lot having a nice chat while having a glass of wine or a beer at the end of the day :) I am very active, I play soccer twice a week and I am always keen on playing any other sport! I like going out, but I take very seriously my studies, so I'm not a crazy party animal.

I am originally from the Gold Coast, been living in Melbourne for the past 8 months. I have the qualities that would make me an ideal housemate as I'm quite familiar with living in share houses with multiple people. I am looking for some down to earth, open minded roommates who I can share a drink and chat with at the end of the day. Talk soon!

Hi there! I'm Héloïse, a 22-year-old Master student studying Communications and Marketing in Paris :). I just moved to Melbourne for the whole year: I'm studying a semester at University of Melbourne and then I want to do an internship here to have a professional experience in an english speaking country. I'm looking for a 12 months accommodation. I'm a joyful and tidy person who loves travelling, running, watching good films as well as Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, GOT, going out with my friends, socializing... I always have a smile on my face and laugh a lot (you will soon discover that I have the most funny laugh on earth ahaha!). I like to do my own things but I also search housemates I can be friends with and do what friends usually do: drink a glass of wine in the evening (or maybe more like four or five glasses #frenchpeoplestyle), share meals, cook together and go out together on the weekends. Hope to hear from you very soon!
I am a grad student at Melb Uni, and my partner is a grad student at Monash. We are looking for a place for our 2 years in Melbourne (may extend more).

Hey, my name is Chloe. I'm 26, working part time and finishing my Masters thesis in Philosophy. I've lived in Melbourne for 8 years, and am looking for a place in North Melbourne or West Melbourne, as I've made a lot of connections in the area. I'm looking for either a room in a share house, or to team up with someone looking to start a new sharehouse. I'm looking for a place with a friendly and chill vibe. I'm quite independent but enjoy catching up with housemates when I'm home, and am partial to the occasional party or social gathering. I'm clean, tidy, considerate and respectful and I also come with a tool kit and some (limited) maintenance skills. During the day I'm usually working or at uni writing. I also hit the gym pretty regularly, and box competitively (which keeps me busy!). I also enjoy reading, watching tv shows (favourites are Battlestar Galactica, Steven Universe, Jane the Virgin, Black Books, Malcolm in the Middle... and so many more), music (mostly metal, hip-hop and rap but I am a sucker for 80s and Eurovision), drinking lots of coffee, and seeing friends. I have enough furniture to start a new sharehouse, but I can also sell it before I move if I find a sharehouse that's already set up. If it sounds like I might be a good fit for your house, or like we might work as a team to start a new place, please get in touch and we can have a chat :)

Allo there, I'm a professional creative, Graphic Designer, who runs my own business and I love it. I have a studio in West Melbourne and currently live in West Footscray. I work hard which sometimes means on my home computer, and I like to relax when away from the desk. I love the arts, music, design, travel, food, cafes, bars, drawing, photography, movies, Netflix, fitness and spending time with mates. My fave food spots, gym, cinema etc are all close to my current home, so I would like to stay within a few suburbs of them. In a living space I enjoy sharing with housemates and hanging out, just as much as quiet time alone to relax after a busy day. I’m an avid bargain hunter at food markets and I love to bake. Pets are awesome and I'm considered a cat whisperer, let me at them! I’m clean and tidy and expect the same, though I’m not regimented about it. Gardening is a meditative passion and I own some furniture and white goods. Creative people make me happy. I love to share ideas, crafts, artworks to inspire each other. I have a fairly kooky sense of humour, but I assure you I’m a nice guy who is country bred. Hit me up for more and let’s do this!
Hello everyone! We are two Norwegian girls who are searching high and low to find a home for the next 4 months. We are study abroad students from the University of Oslo, and will be studying criminology at the University of Melbourne. We are really excited to be here in Australia as we have never been here before, and are supercurious about the Australian culture and way of living. We are adventurous, easy going, clean, kind, honest, and are used to live with other people. We would love to live with some australians, but any other nationalities are also exciting! We are also open for living just the two of us together. We are looking for a sharehouse/apartment with two separate bedrooms so that we can have one room each. Kristin is allergic to cats. Even though we are full-time students, we would like to spend as much of our spear time as possible exploring Australia. We are sociable, but like our alonetime as well. We love making good dinners, reading almost any kind of book, going for a run or a bike ride, watching a good (or bad) movie, gamenights, etc. Music takes up a big place in our hearts and we LOOVE going to concerts. No worries, when listening to music we can use headphones. We are always down for a couple of beers or glasses of wine. Also I (Maia) am very into second hand/vintage/ and "Savers" kind of stores, and love browsing through clothes/nip-naps for hours. If there is anything else you would like to know about us or our stay, please don't hesitate to contact me! We are superkeen to find our new Australian home. Cheers! Maia and Kristin
