Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist and will be moving to Townsville for work on 14th July via a pit stop in Darwin for a course. I will eventually be looking for my own place but looking for a short term solution in the meanwhile. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
Hey there I'm Tom from the United Kingdom. I'm coming to Townsville to do a PhD looking into feral cats in the swamps and woods around the area. I'm an outgoing and gregarious sort of chap. I enjoy going to a pub to chat and socialize as much as I like to go on random adventures and hikes in the outdoors. To unwind I enjoy going to gigs and playing football, but sometimes there's nothing better than settling down with a good book for an afternoon. I'll be getting my own car so road trips are a distinct possibility. I am a respectful housemate and know that when there needs to be quiet time and how to clean up after myself. I'm looking for other students or people of a similar age to live with either moving into a free room or teaming up to find a new place.
I may be 48, but I am a lot younger at heart, so please don't let my age put you off. I think first of all i am a person who loves to socialise. I am clean & tidy person. I have an indoor desexed 11 year old female indoor cat, who is also very clean & tidy. I like to cook & don't mind cooking for my house/flatmates, so as they wash up ;), but willing to help with washing up. I pay my bills on time. I am a very balanced person. I am not judgemental and I am very understanding. I am super open-minded. I am not a party animal.
I tend to keep to myself and not want to take up other's space too much, and I don't make too much noise. I like to be told when I'm doing something that annoys someone because I like living harmoniously. I'm also pretty alright at cooking :D I also have two cats.
I am a clean and tidy male working FIFO on 8/6 roster, looking for accomodation for minimum 6 months, may extend depending on situation. I’m easy going, social and get along with everyone. I dont drink or smoke. I am looking for a relaxed, friendly and respectful roommate.
Hey! I’m Lauren. I am a happy, friendly, respectful 29 year-old housemate! I am very clean and tidy because who doesn’t love coming home to a nice space? I am reliable and employed full-time as a Speech Pathologist so rent will always be on time and the toilet roll will always be replaced :) I just moved to Townsville from Sydney for a work contract so I’ll be here until the end of November. I am loving this sunny weather you are delivering ☀️ I quite like a chat and a vino but keep most of my socialising outside of the house. I love to read, cook, do yoga and go on adventures. You should pick me as your new housemate because I cook a pretty fabulous banana bread and I’m happy to share it with you! Hope to hear from you soon!
I’m easy going, social and live an active lifestyle. I get along with everyone and have been in sharehouses for 5 years with ease. My interests are camping, travelling, and helping the environment. I’m always up for a conversation. Just looking for a relaxed and friendly roommate :)

Hey! My name is Kaitlan, I am 18 and am currently looking for a house, and a housemate! I am a very chill, bubbly, and friendly girl and I absolutely love meeting new people! I am currently unemployed, but I am looking for part time or full time employment. I do receive centerlink income and am quite capable of paying rent and any other bills on time. I have had 2 house mates in the past and I have payed rent, bills, cleaned up after myself, respected the house, and have gone by their rules. I have my own car, and my p1 license. I have a month and a half old kitten named Chester, he is a indoor cat and is toilet trained and very friendly. I am a lover of animals! I aren’t much of a party person but every now and then I love to sit down and have a few drinks and have a chat. I am also a smoker. I am also studying cert 3 community service online and have just finished my first semester of study 😊 I am looking for a house that is around the $130-190 mark! I’m looking to move in right away and am looking forward to hear and live with my future house mate!
Super friendly and easy to get along with :) I have lived in a sharehouse before, and I always clean up my mess afterwards (especially in the kitchen)! I am currently having a gap year before moving to Melbourne next year. I work casually with a few businesses as an admin assistant and I also tutor high school and primary school students. For fun I love team sports, hip hop dance and reading/music. I am quite invested in my health and enjoy exercise and the outdoors in general. Additionally, I love to be able to hang out indoors and watch movies. I am currently studying a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance. I tend to find myself quite busy with work and study and thus I live to enjoy the quiet and peace at the end of the long day and relax and chill out on the weekends. I am respectful of noise and space as I would like to live where flat mates did the same.
I'm very clean and tidy person, love a chat or a wine to share with my housemates. I'm a mature aged student who returned to Uni to study physiotherapy but about to take a year break to work full time. I have a little 2-year-old Shih-Tsu named Nugget extremely friendly, funny and full of personality. I currently live in Douglas in a gorgeous house but am looking to get closer to the beach for my pooch who loves a swim and to town for work. Would love to hear from you if you already have a place and keen to team up or have a room available. Moving in dates are very flexible between now and end July.

Hi, I'm moving from Brisbane to Townsville in July to study marine biology post grad. I've lived in share houses for 8 years in Brisbane and am very clean, respectful of others space and property but also social :) I love the ocean and being at the beach. And also like keeping fit- yoga, running, netball and cycling. I'll be looking to work part-time while studying and am excited to get out and explore townsville and surrounds.
