Moving to Townsville in late June / early July for a job in Education for a six month contract. Quiet and able to keep to myself, but happy for social hangouts and drinks on the odd weekend. Active and studious - HPE teacher but also music qualified, so will spend some free time keeping in practice with those fields. Tend to spend my weekdays preparing work. Clean and tidy - regularly clean, at minimum will always keep up with the amount of cleaning as the person I live with. Would ideally live with just one other person who's also working full time. Not compatible with regular party goers sorry! Can provide some things if needed, such as: - Washing machine - Fridge - TV - Game consoles (don't play often) - Netflix Account with second profile - General furniture (happy to throw out if not needed) Ideal place would have air con, secure parking and a second bathroom - flexible on this though.
Located in the front of the complex, with views to Castle Hill and a little speck of the ocean, the unit features 3 built in bedrooms, spacious living and a fantastic front balcony which spans the full width of the unit. The unit is just a few minutes walk from the CBD, Castle Hill, Queens Gardens and The Strand. All the fantastic features: - Double sliding door built-in wardrobe - Fully air-conditioned plus ceiling fans throughout - Kitchen with granite benchtops and generous space and storage - Tiled front balcony - Resort style pool - Secure basement parking with lift access to your level - Internal laundry - Lock up storage room in carpark - NBN available - Convenient North Ward location
I am currently a student at JCU, finishing up my studies. My lease is up on my current flat, and I need somewhere to stay temporarily before I leave Townsville at the end of June. I like to cook and bake so I will make sure you enjoy some of that! I am usually pretty busy with work and uni, so will not be home much. I enjoy a good chat now and then, but mostly will keep to myself.
F/F a/c queen room, own bathroom, undercover secure parking. Close to the City and beach. Chef's delight kitchen, water views, pool, spa and tennis court. I'm friendly, respectful and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Rent $175 + bond. Utility bills shared (pro rata).
Hi there! I'm relocating to Townsville and looking for a place to live (duh!). I'm 26, originally from Adelaide but have moved around different remote areas in SA, QLD, WA and NT the last few years. My next move is to Townsville, where I'll be working for a community service based on Palm Island. I'm very outgoing and spontaneous, and love getting out and exploring new places, getting involved in my community but equally happy to chill at home with Netflix and a wine. I'm a big animal lover and have 2 dogs that live with my parents in Adelaide. I've lived in share housing for six years, so comfortable with sharing house work and bills, etc. What I'm looking for: I'm very flexible but ideally the following: own bathroom, WIR or BIR, car space, close-ish to Townsville City/airport area. I have some kitchen stuff, but I've sold all my furniture, so any furniture provided would be a bonus! :)
Permanently separated, about to settle, found work in Townsville and looking to resettle. I play music, love to laugh, love to be social but also respect privacy and space. I am almost always smiling and believe in being positive! Will be doing shift work in Disability Care on a Casual basis but will have 30 hours a week or more. Will most likely have a period of being in two places until settlement. I presently live in Forrest Beach. I do have 2 sausage dogs but they will not be with me except for possible visits. I am tidy and just need to find a friendly place to start my life over.
Hi! My name is Natascha. I am a Danish student studying at the University of Southern Denmark. From July to November, 2017, I am studying a semester at JCU in Townsville. I am 22 years old, and moved out of my parents house at the age of 19, thus I am used to take responsibilities. I am very organized and hope that my housemates appreciate clean surroundings as well. I hope to meet new people and get a lot of great experiences during my stay. And it would be nice to live with someone who is social, but still respects a closed door once in a while. My preferences: I look for a place to live near the city or JCU, preferably with other students or people in the age range of approximately 20-30. The house (and room) needs to be furnished, since I will not be able to bring my own things from Denmark. And it would be great if my potential room did not have a carpet, since I am allergic to dust. It is a plus, but not a must if there is a pool ;) When arriving in Townsville on July 12. I have booked a room for a week, thus giving me time to visit potential housemates before making a commitment. Feel free to message me with details of the room, if you think that I could be a potential housemate, and let's set up a meeting.
Hello there! My name is Anna and I am a Danish girl going to Townsville for my semester abroad at JCU. I am clean, easy to live with, quite social, and love being outdoors. During my semester, I obviously need to pass all exams, but my main focus will be getting great experiences and meeting new people. Therefore, I hope to end up in a house were my housemates and I can be social at times while having the privacy to study at other times. As I moved out of my parents' house when I was 20, I am able to live by myself and cope with everyday challenges. I am looking for a share house that is already furnished, since I am unable to bring furniture. The location should be with easy access to uni and the city, either by bike or public transport. Pool is a plus, but not a must ;-) I arrive in Townsville on June 12, and have booked a room for the first week, leaving me time for visiting potential housemates before making a commitment. If you are looking for a new housemate during semester 2 this year, feel free to message me the details of your room, and we might be able to set up a meeting for when I am in town.

I'm self-employed and work in the pet industry. I'm respectful, considerate and reliable and expect the same in return. Most areas of Townsville considered. Rent budget approx $150 including all bills.
Pretty easy going guy I am a Postgrad student, I really don't create any problems where I live and the best thing about living with me is I don't complain if I don't like a place I simply will leave at the end of my contract or won't move in. So I don't harass anyone with complaints. I would prefer to live with students or people my age approximately but I am pretty open to anyone to some degree. I am not concerned about moving in with a particular gender. I really look for a place where the people seem pretty normal, the people who I might enjoy living with, I would like a modern place if possible rather than an old house. I am thinking of sharing but if a apartment or unit is available close to my price range I would consider it because I have selected multiple locations so that might be relevant to some of interest. I'm studying to be a Business Lecturer at University so I read the Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, I enjoy that and I know everyone has different interests but that is mine really. It does make me pretty busy but I am open to having a few beers every now and than but I have a habit of being a bit tedious about my studies I have to warn you in advance in case you want a party animal I probably will let you down in that area because as much as I might enjoy having some fun with the guys i do put my GPA first. I do enjoy it though and I am one of those people who enjoys what I do even if it doesn't always feel like it during peak assessment periods.
We are two girls from Denmark, who are moving to Townsville to study finance at James Cook University. We are ready to move in around the 12-13 of July. We are looking for an apartment that we can share the two of us or an apartment that we can share with other students. We want to live close to James Cook University. Furthermore, we would like that internet, electricity etc are included in the rent. It is a huge plus if there is access to a pool.
Hi, I'm a 44 year old female who has moved to Queensland from Victoria. I've been in Charters Towers for 5 months but find I need a busier lifestyle and more job opportunities than Charters can offer. I work in the childcare industry as a casual so hours and days will vary. I'm a quite person who generally keeps to myself. In saying that, I do however like to have a couple of drinks, relaxing conversations and a few good laughs. I'm clean, responsible and considerate of others. 😃
(Can provide references from landlord, roommate, employer and friends) Hello, I’m Naomi and 25 years old. Currently living in an apartment in Idalia but the landlord has decided he would like to sell the unit I am currently in, so I have to be out by June 29th. My current housemate I met off this website and I have now been living with her for a year and half and honestly she has become one of my best friends. Sadly she wants a house and I want an apartment, hence why I am looking for a new roommate anywhere in Townsville - not set on a suburb. All in all I want a place that feels like a home and someone I can become friends with but still have our own space. I am looking for an apartment that is fully furnished besides from the bedroom/bathroom with someone around my own age. Things that are a must is: off street parking, WIFI and a smoke free house as I don't smoke, outside is fine though. Clean, you must be clean as I rate myself a very clean person. I am a very bubbly, happy go lucky person who loves to have a chat along with a couple of drinks every now and then – none of this social awkward lock themselves in the bedroom people please. I love animals, so if you have a pet, that doesn't worry me. More the merrier haha. I'm honest, reliable, hardworking and a really easy going person. I work full time at Carmichael Ford – 6 days a week and on weekends I’m always out doing something so you probably won’t see me too much. I have my own car and pay my bills on time (can provide statements). I want somewhere that isn’t a locked in contract as I don’t know how long I am going to be in Townsville for – I will happily go down for 6 months with the option to look at extending. That’s what I did last time and I’m only moving out because of listed circumstances. If you think I would suit your home lifestyle please send me a message and we will go from there. Kindest regards, Naomi

I'm a easy going and positive person from Stockholm in Sweden, who enjoy company but also respect others need of alone time. I will bring my beloved pure breed ragdoll cats who will make the household full of joy. At my sparetime I tries to go out for PowerWalks or something like that, and learn more proper English. Expression of Interest: Looking for a friendly positive environment for me & my 12mth staffy x cattle pup. I am clean, tidy and respectful. I am taking a break from full time work at the moment, working only part-time/casual, and I am searching for a peaceful sanctuary where I can chill. Somewhere near the beach would be preferable but willing to consider other places. A place where we can feel at home.
Looking for a room with an ensuite preferably, or a small granny flat! I am a tidy and fun person to live with. I work full time all week so you don't usually see me during the week and on weekends I like to go out with my friends. Don't mind hanging out and having a few drinks with my future flat mate!!
