We’re Tom and Rachel, both 33, and we’re looking for a chilled and comfortable home somewhere on the northside of Brisbane—around Newstead, New Farm, Windsor, Albion, Kelvin Grove, Clayfield, or nearby. We’re a friendly, respectful couple who love our space to feel peaceful and relaxed. Tom works full-time in construction, and Rachel works across a few jobs in the yoga, Pilates and reformer world. We’re both clean, tidy, easy to live with, and like having a laugh, but we’re also really mindful of keeping things calm and considerate at home. We’re hoping to find a place with an unfurnished room with an ensuite and a parking spot. We’ve got a few bits of furniture like a dining table and some bedroom things, but not heaps—happy to fit into the vibe of the house. When we’re not working, we’re usually out camping, hiking, or catching up with mates. Tom’s into basketball, volleyball, gaming, and cooking up a storm. Rachel loves her movement practice, getting outdoors, and winding down with a book or a glass of wine. We’re social but definitely not party animals, and we don’t smoke. We’re flexible with move-in dates—anytime in the next few weeks works for us—and we’re open to joining a share house or teaming up with someone to find a new rental.
