Hey there, Originally from Townsville, relocated to the Gold coast when I was young and have only just begun to reach my tether and outgrow the touristy, egotistical vibe of the Gold Coast's most central parts. I love the beach and country, just anything that isn't in a CBD and wall-to-wall shoebox living with a supermarket and shopping centres at every turn. I'm looking for somewhere along the east coast from Currumbin to Fingal Head and surrounding suburbs (open to anywhere really) and make every effort to get down to NSW and adventure on my days off, I'd simply like to close the distance. At the moment I'm working full time in hospitality burning the candle at both ends doing double shifts. Ultimately, I'm looking to find work part time at a bar/cafe/restaurant and to study the rest and wind down the pace a bit. I am honest to a fault, always pull my weight around the house (bins don't scare me) and consider other people (neighbours inc) in terms of noise, mess and taking turns in a shared living situation. (Human cohabitation and etiquette 101!) When I'm not working I can be found tinkering in the garage on the bike, fishing, gardening, or with a cup of tea and my nose in a book. Partying lifestyle never really caught on but I love a few quiet beers on a Friday arvo and a game of pool at the local. In bed early most nights. I tend to get along better with dudes than chicks due to my very male dominated interests (could talk for days about bikes and will whoop your butt at pool) and I have a dad joke kinda lame humour. Cons: My bird can become unsettled for whatever reason sometimes and have little a carry on that involves toots, woo's and the odd scream which if I'm home I quickly correct. But that's parrots for you, if you don't have one, you wouldn't understand. He comes nearly everywhere with me, and is a big part of my life as I hand raised him. He's now 5y.o. I would love a household that accepts him and also loves or at least understands birds as my last housemates taunted and harassed him (He's toilet trained btw). I ride a motorbike and she's a tad louder than most streetbikes but not as obnoxiously loud as a Harley. I even go to the trouble to push her out and down the street before starting her on morning rides for the comfort of neighbours and housemates. A little excessive (my bird could give my bike a run for it's money sometimes) but worth it for the right home. Pros: Random people have been known to trust me to babysit their children and fur babies for extended periods, so you can also bet I'm adulty enough to pay rent on time and do the right thing by people. Built in dog walker and ex vet nurse if needed. Won't hog the bathroom or moult hair extensions, nails or eyelashes. Conclusion: I am a very quiet, considerate and clean housemate: the things I come with (by nature) aren't so much. I love all animals, dogs particularly, and thrive in a home with some fur, feathers and scales. I look forward to hearing from my future housemates~ Cheers!
Hey, I'm heading up to work from for 3 months from the 7th of January, with the potential to stay longer should it all work out. I understand that it might not be desirable to have someone in for a 3 month period but please know I'm really respectful and considerate of flatmates and my homes. I'm a really hard worker so I'll often be out at work or enjoying the sunshine. I am neat and tidy, enjoy eating delicious food and spending time with friends. I'm respectful of peoples spaces and whilst I enjoy sharing a meal with friends as much as I enjoy my down time. I'll be in Byron from the 12th to the 22nd of December so would love to meet anyone who think I could be a good fit for their home. Cheers!
I am pretty laid back, respectful but love a chat and a laugh over a beer or wine with my flatmates, while still finding that we all have our own lives and need our own space. I've lived in sharehouses setups pretty much since I left home, be it on campus uni accommodation, to sharehouses to backpacker hostels. I like living in a home, where people don't just come home to shut the door but friendships often happen. Some of my good friends were initially strangers who we were in a sharehouse with.
leaving a beautiful share house in Melbourne, I have just finished a degree in Fine Art and moving up to Mullumbimby to continue studies in Permaculture! ....so Im an Artist and a Permie! Im creative, into all things making, growing, earthy, art related, food related, wellbeing related and natural. I will spend most of my time with my studies, making art, in the community garden, gardening, exploring, going for runs, doing yoga and of course cooking good yum wholesome food! I have been working as a Nanny so LOVE kids and LOVE cleaning! And have done a lot of work in plant nurseries. I am super friendly, low key, positive, gentle kind of person. I can do my own thing and love a bit of alone time, but equally as much love hanging out, cooking a meal together and having a good chat over a cuppa!
I am 19 years old, working full time in hospitality (about 50 hours a week) and spend my days off at the beach or visiting family! Looking for a quiet, peaceful sharehouse with housemates that enjoy being social, but enjoy privacy too. I love animals, the beach, good food & music.
Easy going girls looking for a new home. Currently in south golden, but having to move as our landlord is selling the house. We both work full time, are very easy going and clean. We understand the importance of privacy but we also enjoy sharing the occasional glass of wine and antipasto spread!
This stunning house has magnificent water views from the kitchen dining lounge room and verandah. There are a number of lounging areas inside and out that capture the views. It is light and airy with a perfect northeast aspect capturing the winter sun and summer breezes from the water and you can hear the ocean and birdsong from your bed and view the sun and moon rise over the water which is magic! There are two rooms available both rooms overlook a leafy courtyard in a private wing of the house and share a bathroom and bath. There is a private entrance if required. It is a special spot here a short walk through nature reserve to the beautiful uncrowded beach of South Golden Beach and bike tracks are at the front door. It's a wonderful peaceful sanctuary to live in with friendly quiet respectful housemates and neighbours. The house is huge very comfortable with fans and air con for the hot summer days and well equipped and tastefully furnished with original artwork and decor. There is a veggie garden and fruit trees. It is perfectly located a short drive from Byron Central and within easy access to all the riches that Byron Shire has to offer.
Fun, clean and tidy, great cook, good at gardening, likes to paint and draw, hiking, beach, reading, easy-going. Lots of experience living in share houses and now how not to be a shitty housemate! Working full time in Duranbah. Looking for something atleast 6 months or potentially more if it's the right place. Just getting to know the region so looking to meet new friends and do activities!
Hi everyone!! I'm a clean, respectful, happy flatmate who has always lived in shared housing so I'm understanding of others privacy but also love to socialise and make friends with the people I live with. I've been a veggie chef for 5 years and love food so can cook up delicious meals to share in the evenings. I like to stay active and spend lots of time outdoors, would be great to find someone to join in on the adventures.
Hello! I'm India (21) and am looking at moving out mid/late JAN (dates are flexible) to Brunswick Heads/Ocean Shores/Pottsville or surrounding areas. I am very interested in meeting 1-2 other people for team ups or joining a current houseshare. I've been living out of home with housemates since I was 17 and can say that I am tidy and respectful of other peoples spaces but also love cooking/drinking with my housemates. I am about to start a graduate job so will be laying pretty low during the week and making the most of my weekends, being out and about, going to the beach, visiting friends/family or exploring! I want to get back into yoga, playing my guitar and learn to surf. I'm very easy going and would love to live with people with a good sense of humor and lovers of nature! Let me know if you think I'd fit in well with your house or if you'd like to team up and find a new place!! Thanks India
I am a professional moving to the area for a new adventure, working full time and will have my own car. I like keeping fit and am quite active, enjoy going on trips and travelling. Relaxed and easy going, I can get on with most people. Love my music, gadgets (tech geek) and coffee. I am tidy and happy to help with cleaning. I can cook and don't mind the occasional social drink. I can supply my own furniture so places that are semi or unfurnished are no problems. I am looking for a relaxed place with happy people that don't mind sharing meals, drinks or trips now and then.
We live 20min North of Byron Bay, we have a public bus stop at the end of our street and there are shops and cafe's nearby. We have New Brighton beach across the road which is great for a walk, a surf, or a sunbake :) Marshals creek laps the edge of our backyard at high tide- you can paddle our kayak to Brunswick Heads! As well, all the natural beauty of the Byron Bay region is a day trip away. We have bikes, a kayak and a canoe, snorkeling gear, board games and more for you to play with.
Willing to put in a concerted effort to make any situation work. Quiet and reserved, way past the "partying" age but not anti-social! Love my Guiness and bourbon (not together and rarely at that)! Love any pet. Believe in honesty and taking charge of my own issues. Generally tolerant of everyone (incl. orientation - I'm hetero and belief system)! Unfortunately profile photo is not particularly flattering, it was the only one I could find on my h/drive! Seriously! **NOT MOVING JUST YET, SEEING WHAT'S OUT THERE AND A F/T JOB OF COURSE**
I'm quiet, clean, creative and friendly 25 year old student who works part-time. I love a chat but also like my personal space. I love yoga and anything to do with the ocean, nature, animals and food. Looking for a peaceful place to live with easy-going people.
I'm an easy going person, I like my sports and time for myself, which I spent either reading or digging through endless piles of new and old music. I'm always down to grab a beer and like a party every now and then, as long as it is outside the walls of my living place. I'm in Byron Bay for the summer working as a cook. I have a degree in chemistry and a passion for cooking which I'm not sure how to combine just yet. I have been a vegan for a while, but started eating meat again when I got serious about working in the kitchen. I can still make some killer vegan dishes though. I'm very flexible when it comes to the living space and don't need a villa or a beatiful kitchen. I like a clean house and apart from cooking for other people, I also love to cook for myself. If you own the place that could be the new roof over my head, send me a text. Cheers,
Moving to Byron Bay (or surrounding areas) for a change of pace after completing my degree. Length of stay undecided, minimum 3 months (most likely 6 months). Will be looking for work. - Vegan (will not try and convert you) - Great cook - animal lover - Loves adventure - Easy to get along with - Clean and respectful :) -FLEXIBLE ON RENT

Laid back, tidy, active. Full time employed, long term local. Social, civilised and very well house trained. I've been living on my own in Belongil for ages, but Airbnb is moving in, so I am out. Time for a change but I'd love to stay in town if possible. Work 9-5 in the industrial estate, do something active after work nearly everyday and come and go in the weekends. Highly tolerant of other peoples lifestyles, but i do love home to be reasonably serene during the week. ...Can be flexible about moving date....
Friendly, funny, clean and active. Carpenter by trade, so super handy! Love animals like you wouldn't believe. Have a great passion for music, snowboarding and surfing. From Sunshine Coast QLD and Jindabyne NSW
Our home is newly renovated with timber floors, large windows, ample storage space, very light and spacious. The location for us is so special. Being tucked away on a quiet road overlooking farm lands but still easily accessible to the highway and close driving distance to Byron, Bangalow, Brunswick Heads and Mullum.
I'm interested in keeping healthy and having a balanced lifestyle. Not at home all the time but enjoy the home to be a tranquil environment for recharging batteries. I like to cook and have friends over from time to time, maybe once a fortnight. I'm after someone who has a similar way of life so we can respect each others lifestyles and enjoy sharing a space together. Anyway, more can always be discussed over a chat. :)
