These are the main points: 1. We are looking for someone who is a keen gardener or permaculturist. 2. Part of the deal is to contribute 4 hours a week to the veggie gardens. 3. No smokers. 4. You need to have experience with living with off-grid electricity or, at least, be prepared to learn how to do it. 5. The house is built on a bushland block. It's very private but only 3 minutes away from Palmwoods train station in one direction or Eudlo in the other. It's also only 8 minutes to Chen Resig Buddhist centre and 20 minutes from Sunshine Coast University. The bedrooms are cabins separate from, but quite close to, the main house. I think the outlook from the bedrooms is fantastic - that is, if you like bush views. The main house is shared. It contains the living room and bathroom. The kitchen and dining area are on a covered deck. The only house rules are to help with the veggie gardens (watering and weeding) and feeding the chooks. This should not take any more than 4 hours per week. And, of course, to share with the usual chores to keep the house tidy.

I'm a full time musician, which means I'm out days, sometimes weeks at a time. not every week, but it does happen. I also play gigs most weekends, which means I get home late some nights. If possible, I will need some storage space, possibly some of the garage, for all my gear. I like to keep to myself, working in my room as a recording/session musician, but I do enjoy a conversation. Pretty easy going as well. I don't smoke, drink, or make much loud noise, and keep everything I do clean and tidy. The boys are also a point of contact as there is no one else living there apart from 1 cat, 1 cockatiel, 1 chook and a transient duck, And it makes sense to meet them when you check out the place anyway.. Pets would be considered as long as the existing fauna and lizards don’t suffer. For the double room it’s $150 p/w so $600 to move in, the room is unfurnished except for built ins. Power is in Smedleys name and would be split between all. There is no internet provided but you are welcome to sort that out between yourselves. First off, I have a 16 year old daughter who stays with me every second weekend, sometimes we are home sometimes we aren't but everyone will have to be OK with a teenager around. Now that's out the way, I'm neat, tidy, laid back, easy going, enjoy my own space and respect other people's space, but if people want to have a chinwag after work over a beer, I won't say no! I'll be on shift work, but I understand others aren't so I'll be quiet in the mornings and or nights! I can't live with anyone who does drugs due to my work (no I'm not a cop!) but I don't discriminate if people smoke cigarettes and I enjoy a drink after work or if I get a chance on weekends. I do try to keep myself busy so you might not See Me alot. I enjoy boating, fishing, 4wding and camping. I am very quiet and likes to just stick to myself. Have a 13 year old boy and an 18 year old boy who would visit. My 13 year old boy may stay on the rare occasion but just would share my bed and he is very quiet too who likes to stick with his mum when visiting. I do have an indoor cat but if the place isn't pet friendly I would leave her with friends. She would only live in my room if it was pet friendly. Thanks
