Hey There!
My name is Jack. I'm a 23-year-old mechanical engineering student heading to the University of Melbourne on exchange from mid-July until the end of December. I'm scheduled to land in Melbourne on July 13th in the evening (but am flexible on when my official move-in date is, if need be)
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver but was born and raised in Montreal.
I am super friendly, easy-going, tidy, and love meeting new people!
I have been living with co-ed roommates for the entire time I have been at university and love it. I have been very good at working with 4+ roommates to find systems that work for everyone regarding cooking, cleaning, etc.
I am also extremely handy and can fix just about anything around the house if need be :)
During my time on exchange, I will mostly be studying but also plan to work and am currently looking for some part-time work at a cafe or restaurant.
With whatever free time I have left, I love to hang out with people but also like to explore on my own. I love adventures in the wilderness but can also spend an entire day lying under the sun at the beach doing nothing!
