Hey! I am a young professional from Brisbane, working full time in a 9-5 job. I'm reliable, friendly and like to keep a clean house. I generally prefer a quiet night in and a movie but will never turn down a glass of wine or two with good company. I like to spend my free time travelling and am always planning my next adventure. My travels have taught me that a sense of humour and good manners can get you a long way and it is important to appreciate the simple things in life. These are values I highly regard and aim to live by.
I'm 33, laid back and tidy. easy to get along with. I own a gardening business so busy in the summer and will need some storage room for tools and camping gear. My 7yo son stays with me every second weekend. he's quiet and we're either at the park or paying video games. Hobbies include electric skateboarding, 4x4ing, building and tinkering on side projects.
Hi there, i'm currently just working full time getting back to a more normal life after having spent the last year and a half in North America. I'm easy going, love to cook and am down for a drink. Interests include travel and music, I find it very hard to turn down a gig or festival. Very clean housemate with shared spaces, and probably wont be up too late as I work mornings. Love a bit of banter but also respect peoples needs for personal space. Looking to move in to somewhere some time after mid October. Cheers, Libby
About me: I'm 23, work as a barista in Milton during the week and spend most of my spare time at home so I'm looking for a comfortable space I can feel at home in. I like to socialise at home so living with people I can also be friends with is important to me. I'm pretty chill, often down for a chat or hanging out and I clean up after myself. What I'm after: Would like to share with 2 or 3 other people. Ideally would like a decent sized room that can fit a queen bed and some furniture such as a desk, chest of drawers, tv, etc. Must have ceiling fan and built in robe. I have some other furniture like shelves and tv units, bar fridge and a few other things and would like to bring those with me so if you have room, great. I'm looking to move in mid to late November.
I’m a quiet, tidy, private person. Work keeps me pretty busy during the week. On weekends I like to find a green space to go for a walk, chill out with a movie or a book, catch up on house-chores, and catch up with family and friends.
I'm an easygoing and friendly chick 😊 21 years old, I study and work - both in the CBD Happy to be social with you but am also laid back and will respect your personal space. Very clean, responsible, tidy, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around! Usually busy throughout the week with work and uni, and most weekends I stay over at my boyfriends place or am out and about with the girls at brunch or dinner + drinks Looking to move in with a like-minded and friendly housemate with positive fun vibes into inner-city Northside/Westside fringe suburbs around the end of November/start of December Would ideally want something that's around $250/wk inc. bills Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match 😊
Hi future housemate/s we are a young married couple who both work away. I travel a lot for work & most weeks am only home on average 3-4 days out of the week. My husband also works away & is a FIFO worker doing 2weeks on 2 weeks off. We are not orginally from Brisbane so we do not know to many people although we do love to socialise. We both are pretty active people & love to be out & about. We are looking for any like minded people who are trustworthy, clean, respectful, down to earth & enjoy a drink a laugh. We are not party animals but we do enjoy a bbq & a drink. We are only looking for a 4-6month lease at this stage as we are inbetween selling and buying again. We would like to have our own bathroom and a room that is big enough to have a tv. Our own balcony or outdoor space would be ideal. We don't have much preference for area to live in as long as we are within close proximity of the city. Our budget is $300 with bills included. We would love to be near a train station but it is not a deal breaker. We are also interested in teamups with person/couple that work fulltime. We love animals but not inside. Anyhow feel free to message. Look forward to meeting :)
As you now I'm a student nurse at QUT looking for good, affordable accommodation toward the end of the year with house mates who are clean and not too noisy. I like going to the gym, weekly park runs, shopping in the markets, reading and going to the movies. Favourite programs are GOT, Vikings and House of Cards.
I am a yoga teacher and wellness specialist (working with PTSD/trauma/high-stress occupations) looking at making the move back to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I have a beautiful, 5y/o husky who loves people but as a rescue pup, doesn't do well with other dogs in the same space. She's fluffy, but I make sure I clean up after her. (Outside-only dog - I know people always say that, but this is actually very true). I also have a sweet, quite timid inside-only cat (so she's clean) who will probably hide a lot of the time until she gets to know people. I'm clean, super-respectful of space and boundaries, am not a partier but can enjoy a wine or two over good conversation. I'm friendly and love when I live with people I can get along with. I'm reliable with bills and a good communicator. Bonus: I also come with an espresso coffee machine! I also have white goods (can be stored elsewhere if necessary) and super comfy lounge suite (can confirm: best napping couch!) Since I own my own business, I will need space at least in the bedroom for my desk if not an extra area where possible. I'm generally pretty busy and focused on my work. When I'm not doing that, I'm out at yoga (doing or teaching), walking the dog, being active (just getting into indoor rock climbing), finding a park to chill out and read in, etc etc. My move date is just dependent on finding the right place. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
PLEASE NOTE: I’m currently away on rural placement and will be moving to Brisbane in November. I'm happy to find a place during October and slowly move in but you won't see much of me until late November as I'll be back and forth! I'm a post-grad medical student/part time employee looking for accommodation for at least 6 months before starting my final year of uni. I’ll be on placements around Brisbane for the first 6 months of the year then commuting to the Gold Coast on weekdays for the next 3 months, but planning to live and work in Brisbane long term. I'm a bit of a clean freak and reliable. I like to keep fit in my spare time (gym/running/yoga/hiking) and dabble in some photography and culinary adventures (will probably make you food if you let me!). Would love to share my interests with you if you're keen on a mid-week yoga session or the odd weekend day trip. Otherwise I tend to keep myself pretty busy so can keep to myself quite easily if that suits you better. Would prefer to share with like minded students or professionals. Some form of on or off street parking would be ideal as would my own bathroom, but happy to share the latter with 1-2 others if need be. I have my own bedroom furniture which I prefer to use, but can store this if I find the right place. I also have some small kitchen appliances which I am happy to share. Would definitely be interested in finding a place with someone if that works out best. If you have something which might work feel free to give me a buzz!
I work night shift, so I pretty much keep to myself during the day. I have my 1 year old dog with me who is house/toilet trained, who is mostly an inside dog. Very respectful of others belongings and personal space.
Dana is a 19 year old university student studying creative industries while also working as a dental assistant. Tommy is 19 working week days as a building cleaner. We are both clean, friendly, outgoing and respectful.
Hey guys, I'm Sam! Currently in my third year at QUT in an education degree and my lease is ending at the beginning of October, so I'm looking for someone to team up with and find a sweet place with! I have a 7 year old cat that comes with me - no arguments there- so if you don't like living with a cat, we're probably not best suited to live with each other. He spends his days lazing around or cuddling with me, so he won't get in your way at all. I'm clean, really enjoy a good Netflix sesh and am a busy person who is either at uni, footy or work so I won't be home too often to be that noisy or annoying flatmate. My current roommates moving overseas for study but we do enjoy a beach trip or two on the weekends or getting drunk in front of the tv, so if I sound like your type of roommate, hit me up. Currently living in Ashgrove but I'm not too fussy with locations, as long as it's close enough to QUT Kelvin Grove via public transport, so anywhere between Chermside - Woolloongaba and everywhere in between suits me!
Hey, I'm Sam. I'm a clean, respectful, friendly, quiet and easygoing guy, originally from Tasmania. I work most nights, usually from 9pm - 2am, and during the day I can be found sleeping, talking to my friends online, preparing meals, listening to music or playing the occasional computer game or TV show. Basketball is my main interest, I watch NBA games when they are on and play social basketball on Monday nights. I have minimal belongings. My ideal place would be under $200/w rent, fast internet (NBN/Cable/ADSL2+), close to Brookside where I work, with housemates who can keep the shared areas reasonably tidy as well. Dishwasher is good but not essential. If other housemates want to hang out, have drinks, play games, watch shows, cook or socialise as a group, I'm happy to partake, but I'm also comfortable with living separately and independently. I won't be moving until late October, so I won't be responding to messages until closer to that date. Sorry.
Hi! I am looking for a place that is near to my workplace in Stafford. I do work full-time mon-fri. I'm easy-going, prefers housemates who can respect each other's privacy and be considerate. A bonus if there's aircon in the room (Summer's almost here!)
Hi, we're Krystal (28) and Scott (30). We've just come back from a working holiday in Japan and are looking for a new place to live. We're friendly, quiet, clean and would love to live with people who are similar to us. Krystal is a writer with interests in language, reading, travel, music, animals and nature. Scott is an engineer who loves photography, mountain biking, and of course travelling! We both love camping, hiking, riding, swimming, kayaking and snowboarding!! We like to socialise every now and then, but quiet time is good too! We like to cook most nights, but we are good at cleaning up after ourselves :) We will probably go out to friends and families places at least once a week and will spend many weekends over summer camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We ideally would like a place with an undercover carpark for Scott to park his car.
I'm gay, clean, tidy, respectful, quiet, friendly and love having binge fest on Netflix. I dont smoke or do drugs, I also don't have any pets or children and I rarely drink but when I do it's just a couple when I go out with friends. I work on a permanent casual basis as a night shift Environment Services Assistant at HSNPH and looking to study next year. Looking for a smoke, pet and party free place that's clean and tidy to live I have a preference for my own bathroom and off street parking, aswell as a somewhere out of the weather to store my mountain bike, happy to negotiate the possibility of higher rent to obtain those also looking to preferably would like to live with 2 other people max. I come with a brand new washing machine, a dryer and a Dyson, if I sound like a good fit, please feel free to message me. :)
I am a friendly and tidy person who is looking for some like-minded people to move out with. I will be working full-time so home in the evenings, but will most likely be out and about on weekends as well. Always up for a chat and a glass of wine, but will also completely respect privacy. I am a non-smoker and am not willing to live with people who smoke at home. I am looking to move out in the first few months of next year as I will be starting a job in the city and need to have easier access to public transport. Am keen on pretty much anywhere close to the city, preferably the North Side of Brisbane. I have a small dog named Max who is a cross-breed poodle so does not shed hair. He is fully trained and very friendly, so somewhere with access to a small yard or large balcony would be preferable.
Hey there, future roommate(s)! I just graduated from my master's program and am currently looking to find work in the social work field. I recently moved from America on a working holiday visa (visa 462) and am in the process of upgrading it to a permanent visa (my master’s can qualify me as a resident in Oz). I have a very friendly, affectionate cat so pets being considered is the most important thing to me in finding a flat. My kitty is family! I like cooking for people and would totally cook for you sometimes. If you'd like to do a social roommate gathering sometime, I’m down for that too. If not, I am very considerate of privacy and space with anyone I’m living with. Personality-wise, I'm a fun, caring extrovert who likes a good amount of alone time too. I consider myself creative and quirky, but I think I'm also reliable and grounded in what I need to do to accomplish my goals. I honestly am so in love with Australia already and am so excited to make my life here. Brisbane is such a wonderful place to be, and I would love to share that experience with you!
Hi I'm Tayen, I'm a 27 year old student who just returned from 6 months exchange in Denmark. I have a strong hospitality and retail background so I'm great with people. I'm pretty easy going, creative, clean, happy and I like to socialize and cook. I like to have friends or family over for dinners or a few casual bevvies every now and again. I like trying new things and I like to be able to have a chat or hang out with my housemates on occasion but I don't want to be living in each others pockets. I'm looking for a relaxed household where everyone is respectful of each other but also likes to have fun and a bit of a laugh. I like hanging out on the internet, watching tv shows and movies, playing the occassional gaming console, going out every now and again, arts and crafts, festivals and lots of other things. I'm looking for easy going people who are clean and friendly and don't mind socializing on occasion. I'm also looking for people who don't mind if I have friends and family come and stay on occasion and people who like to have bbqs and the occasional drink. Relaxed, friendly people who are reliable with bills and like to have a laugh.
I work part time at a private hospital approx 35-40 hours a week. I like to think I am neat and tidy, always tend to clean up after myself. Netflix, PS4, Youtube, board games, rum, coffee. Can be found wandering the house looking for food or booze.
