Hi Future flatmate, I'm Varun and 26 yr old. I'm super easy going, understanding and social. Relocating from melbourne by the end of February. Ready to move-in. Loves cooking (at least i try) and cleaning is something is my top most priority. I'd like to move in or teamup with the people who are responsible, reliable and keeps the house clean. i respect privacy and expect the same from my flatmates. Not a party boy but occasional outing is always on the calendar. I would never say no to Wine, cheese and a friendly banter. Apart from paying rent and bills on time, i am house trained (been sharing apartments since 6 years) . See yas !
HI! I am Lena, an exchange student from Norway. Im studying a masters degree in law at USYD. I will be living in Sydney until August, and I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared house. I´m a laid back, tidy and social person who enjoys meeting new people. I love outdoor activities and exploring Aus. Don't hesitate to contact me for any further information!
We are all from the Philippines. I am a reserved and quiet person around strangers, but I can be great company when I get to know someone. I am a computer software engineer by profession and I like computer games, but I also surf and recently seriously started practicing calisthenics. Jaymari is a very business-minded individual, and is always looking for start-up business opportunities. I am currently working with him on a government-funded research project. Matthew is currently working as a system administrator at a large company. He is very cheerful and game for anything.
Hey there! I'm a 28 year old Network and Systems Engineer from California. I had the pleasure of doing some work projects in Australia in my past job and enjoyed it so much that I made a permanent move to Sydney! It's been almost three years now and I've grown to love all that Sydney (and the inner west) has to offer. I'm a social, friendly individual that loves to explore and meet new people. On weekends I'm out and about, likely scuba diving, bushwalking, motorbiking, live comedy, etc. If the weather's bad, I'll be working on some software projects, reading, brewing beer, or indulging in Netflix. Have I mentioned that I have access to ALL US streaming services? I'll hook it up :). I work in an office mostly from 8-5pm Monday to Friday, and am traveling for work occasionally. I keep it low key during the week and relax at home after hitting the gym. As far as goods that I can contribute to a home, I have a large fridge, washing machine, large dining table with 6 chairs, 55 inch 4K TV, TV unit, and a couple pots/pans/etc. These are in a storage unit so if we don't need them, I can keep them there. I'm looking for a "home" like environment with my flatmate(s). Having friends over for dinner parties, and the occasional BBQ or event is more my style. I'm happy to socialise and have the occasional beer and/or dinner with the flatmate(s), but also respect everyone's right to unwind and have their privacy. I consider myself very clean and always pick up after myself in common areas as well as contribute to shared chores and responsibilities. It's easy when everyone communicates well and chips in for each other! Speaking of that, feel free to message me if you have any questions! Cheers.
I grew up in Ukraine but have since lived in 5 different countries, having moved to Sydney in June 2015. I have spent most of my adult life in the US earning my undergraduate and masters degrees, and getting some work experience under my belt. Between work and training, I'm not home too often. I work in CBD in finance and train quite a lot between CrossFit and long distance running. I grew up playing tennis professionally so athletics is a way of life for me. I don't party much, usually only when I travel, don't drink or smoke either.
I'm a 22 year old who's moving to Sydney to study design computing at the University of Sydney. When I'm not working hard I enjoy sleeping...a lot. In between naps I enjoy practicing yoga, music, and playing video games. I'm very openminded, empathetic and love having a laugh. With me, what you see is what you get.
I'm super keen to make my house a home, to spend to with flat mates and generally be caring and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and not gonna cause you any problems. I'm from the UK so got the accent going for me as well. Studying science at USyd :D
I am a young and vibrant woman with quite a bit of personality and a seemingly good sense of humour. I am a heritage consultant and have lived in Aus for 5 years. I offer to be respectful and tidy as well as prepare home cooked meals (if you don't mind rich french food!) and share a bottle of wine occasionally. I'm generally easy going and open minded so whether you like to have a chat at the end of the day or prefer privacy suits me. Get in touch to ask any questions!
What makes me great to live with? Easy, I’m looking for a group of friends as much as I’m looking for a great place to live. My names Daniel. I’m a 25-year-old property developer and architect moving to Sydney to start the job of a lifetime. I love the Sydney inner-city vibe and am looking for a house of social people who enjoy a good laugh and a drink or three after a long day and spend time together. FYI If you’ve got a pub quiz team then I’m your man. I enjoy music (who doesn’t), art, hiking, travel and am always up for an adventure, I’m looking forward to getting to know Sydney. In my free time I also work on my own online business. Hopefully in reading this you’ll think I’m a good fit for your social and friendly house.
Hi i'm Angus :). I'm a 26 year old Radiographer working in Newtown and am looking for other like minded young professional's to share with. I'm an easy going, social guy, who's always up for a chat, love to cook and will always contribute fairly to a household, in regards to cleaning and communal's. I work 5-6 days a week during business hours, and would be home most evenings, but like to get out of the house on the weekends. Looking for a new home to be apart of, keen to save on rent and make some new mates. Looking to find a place over the next month, need to move by the 14th of March ! Cheers !
My name is Lucy, I'm a friendly and tidy flatmate. I'm currently working in Martin Place for a catering company and volunteering at Greenpeace on their Digital Engagement team. I just got back from a European tour and am residing in The Blue Mountains at the moment, I want to move to the inner-west because I want to live closer to where I work. Added to this I love the culture and friendly community the inner-west has to offer.
I'm studying Law/Arts at the University of Sydney, going into my 2nd year. I have a relatively full on study load, however I am sociable and enjoy going out with friends on the weekend. I'm a musician and often play in bands around the Newtown area, and like to keep active, usually through boxing, basketball and gym. Easy going, and get along with most people (almost as well as I do with dogs).
I'm an exchange student from Norway studying at USYD for one year. I have been in Sydney for one semester and I will stay for one more. I'm used to live in shared housing and respect the people I live with. I Love meeting new people and go out with friends but also relaxing at home. I have a positive state of mind, a good sense of humor and I'm an organized and tidy person. I'm looking for a private room in a shared house preferably within a walking distance from USYD. I'm a safe payer and always pay on time.
I am a third year Law and arts student at USYD. I work part time but am heavily supported by my parents so the rent will always be paid on time! I am social and easy going. At least my mum thinks so. Loves; baking, running, traveling, watching bad TV. Hates; bits of food in the sink. Who can walk away from that? If you can then I might be a good addition to your household.
I'm a 20 year old student, working part time looking for a private room in the inner west. I'm friendly, tidy, love to cook and enjoy the occasional vino or three. Im social but love my alone time also! I love dogs so if you have one of those around that's an extra five points. Looking to pay around $250-$300 max and preferably in the Newtown/Glebe area.
My name is Lucas and I'm looking for a private room. I'm looking in moving on the 22 of March. Myself, I'm super positive, clean, outgoing and always happy to chat and make new friends. I love music and going for runs/exercising. I work full time for an airline based in Sydney CBD; and study full time online. I'm still new to this city moved from Brisbane about a year ago, so always happy to explore more of this beautiful city. :)
We're Fannie (31) and Fred (30), a couple from Montreal, Canada, moving to Sydney to start a new exciting life! Fannie is doing a PhD at the University of Sydney, and I'm a web developer. We're a very easy-going couple, we're clean and considerate, so there's no worry about cleanliness or noise or whatever. We like to cook while listening to some good psychedelic rock album, we like to drink a bit of wine, a couple beers at the bar, we love to take long walks through the city streets, and on rainy days stay on the sofa and watch a movie. We're flexible, and understanding. We can talk and mingle, or we can leave you alone. Fannie is the extrovert, I'm the introvert ; but we're both equal parts quiet and fun-loving.
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)
28 Female Baker extraordinaire Medical student Currently living in Stockholm (Sweden) on medical elective but returning to Sydney in March & looking for inner west accommodation Have lived in share houses for a decade so very house& bill trained
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
I am a researcher/epidemiologist who was raised and has got bachelor education in Beijing, China then spent the past 10 years studying and working in Sweden. Have various interests, e.g. swimming, running, hiking, lots of sports, photography, etc. Love good food, especially seafood and vegetarian food. I like to follow some simple and easy recipes at home, rarely make red meat dishes at home though. As a working professional, I usually start my day around 7am and finish around 11.30pm, enjoy afterwork, having dinner with friends, watching movie/documentary/tv, going to the gym/swimming pool, or joining some evening courses during weekdays' evenings. I am a clean, tidy and quiet lady and have good references from previous flatmates. Have lived in student corridor, in shared apartment, and lately got my own apartment in Stockholm. I think I have got some experience living in an international environment, sharing cleaning errands and bills, as well as having friends staying over. I like to have big and small plans for life and the future. My current plan is to do a two-year postdoctoral training in Sydney (at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Glebe), then to go back to Stockholm. I would be much appreciated if I can get to know some friends and get to know the city! Many thanks.
Im easy going, friendly and a bit shy sometimes, from Peru (I can help u with your spanish if you want) Im still improving my English. I like playing soccer, dancing and any activity inside or outside hahaha.
Hello there! I'm Lin (24) and I work full-time (8.30am-6pm) as a Showroom Coordinator in menswear. I've been living in Sydney for the past 5 years and love this city to bits. I'm looking for a place with good vibes and is not a trash can. I've grown to become really good friends with my current flatmates (whom I've also met on Flatmates!) but I'm looking to move somewhere closer to work (I work in the CBD). Ideally, somewhere with street parking or a garage as I have a car! I'm quite active (or at least I tell myself that) and like to be social but at the same time, am quite a big couch potato who loves her 'me' time. Netflix will be the death of me, ha. I'm into art/music and all things creative and enjoy a good conversation about life and all its beautiful imperfections over a glass of vino/beer (I'm not picky!), or three. If you are after an easygoing, responsible and independent flatmate, I'm your person!
I'm 22 years old, and an emerging actor/writer. That and casual work keeps me pretty busy, but in my downtime I'm keen on watching netflix or hanging out with friends. I run and cycle pretty much every day, I'm a vegan (not an annoying one though, it doesn't bother me at all if you eat meat). I like the occasional house party but I also really appreciate a calm, clean living space. The house be queer friendly, and not have cats (I'm allergic, but dogs are fine).
Hi there, I moved from London to Sydney because of a six month job offer in the TV industry. Originally from Italy, I'm clean, respectful and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for a room (ideally furnished) and nice housemates to live with. I'd love to find a place that I can call home rather than just a place where to sleep.
Hey team, My name is Nick, I'm from up the coast and looking for new home while I continue studying at Usyd. A little about me, I'm 22, a student, photographer, surfer, clean as, and a good time. I'm pretty cruisy independent guy and spend a fair bit of time at uni but I'm almost always down for roomie hangs. I'm super friendly/sociable, not a grubby housemate (not the kinda guy that'll leave toothpaste in the bathroom sink). I'm looking for room-mates that are clean-ish (nobody's perfect), fun, respectful of property/space, and won't be strangers around the house. Tl;dr: normal dude, not a grub, not the kind of roommate you'll whinge to your friends about Keen as to hear from ya :-)
Work more or less full time thru the week and have college in the evenings, would be spending very little time at home during the week. I work as a Bicycle mechanic enjoy mountain biking, and staying fit. I'm studying at Uni and keep myself busy between the above two things. During the week I volunteer at an Op-Shop as a Handyman, and enjoy working doing home projects. Can solve most electrical, and other house kinda issues... Basically useful. I'm mostly on here looking for people to Team-up and start a house over the Long-term. Ideally a year or longer. I do have a couple of people interested, my current room mate may also decide to join-in to the house. But neither of them have confirmed. Clean, tidy, lived in a share house, happy to roster a cleaning routine, respectful of another person's space and things, friendly. Open and happy to host pets. Get in touch and can figure out the rest...
My name is Steph, I am a easy going and friendly person that is looking to meet some new housemates and make friends with. I love the outdoors, hiking, playing sports and having a good old boogie and drink. I am respectful and tidy and looking for like minded people who I can have a dinner with or go for a coffee on the weekend. I currently live with a girl called Courtney who is also very friendly and laid back. We are looking for another 1 or 2 roommates to get a place with as our lease contract has ended. Looking to move ASAP so let me know :)
Hey Guys! So I'm not really sure what write here but hopefully you will get a a good overview of my current life situation :) so here we go haha My name is Victoria, I'm 22 years old and I am currently studying a bachelor of design with my major in fashion marketing. When I'm not at uni or studying at home most likely I'm at work, I work part-time (15-20 hrs/w) at David Jones Online in the city which is great :) In my free time I like to catch up with my friends and family either for dinner during the week or out for a couple of drinks on the weekend (depending on my schedule). In all honesty, I'm not much of a club person but I do like to socialize over drinks or food (like who wouldn't want to over food, lets be honest here), meeting new people and making new friends :) I'm pretty chilled out and quiet when I'm home, basically because I see a home as a relaxation haven rather than a party house. I appreciate quiet and serenity especially during busy periods in the year. Like everyone else sometimes I enjoy being alone and I respect other who need the same space as well so I am looking for a home that appreciate the same above all else :) Overall, I love a good chat, good food, nice drinks, me time and puppies :) (if you have any puppies please take me in, thank you ) I hope you guys find this useful and adopt me as one of your own haha Xx Vic
Hi all, My name is bella, I'm 23 and am working full time in the TV industry and am looking to move closer to the city and reduce some travel time. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a glass of wine every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. I would be interested in a team up and trying to find a place and start off fresh in a new place. If you would be up for something like that definitely message me and we can go from there. Feel free to message me and we can have a chat and see what works! Thanks, bella
Hi I am Liv. I am happy, neat, relaxed and friendly. I am looking for some housemates who want to make the house we find a happy home. I have lived in Sydney for nearly four years but I have always just lived with one other housemate. I am excited to go into a house with around 3-4 other people as I am a people-lover and am a huge extrovert. I want to be with people who are positive and happy and who will not say no to hanging out over some wine.
I am a social person, who loves a good chat but also respects the need for your own space & downtime. I like to keep the place clean, and will tidy up after myself. I work full time as an operations manager. I love a good laugh, good wine, eating & trashy TV. Most weekends I'm out & about or away. During the week, I'm a Nanna & love an early night. I'm looking to move into a place with a positive vibe, with people who are friendly.
Looking to move any time around mid April 2017. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hi, I'm looking a short or long term room, ideally a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. I have full time job with an eCommerce company. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies and live music. I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)

I have already been in Sydney twice and I like the city. I don't smoke and I like the animals, sport and music. I'm a quiet guy and I like socialize. In Italy I am a check in agent i airport.
Hello, everyone! Currently just moved to Sydney recently, originally from the UK and looking to find a group of people to stay with and have a really good time! I am a very multicultural and energetic person, traveled all around the world. Currently doing an internship at a marketing company. I like to stay healthy and fit, socialise and explore what the city has to offer! I enjoy cooking from time to time and I always keep my room and other areas as clean as possible.
I am a hardworking individual who is very easy going. I can be quiet and independent or talkative and interested in events/activities depending on the person i am living with. I'm planning on starting an online TAFE course in august so i would be at home studying a lot. I also have two beautiful cats who are very loving and love to have a (loud) chat when they want some attention!!
Hi, we are an easy going couple (27 & 24 years old) from Germany and are currently looking for a flat(share) in Sydney. We're going to be in Sydney from March 2017 until January 2018. Niklas starts his master studies (project management) at the University of Sydney. He has been working as an engineer for the last four years. I, Nina, am going to do an internship at a school in Sydney. This is necessary to finish my master studies (master of education) in Germany next year and to become a teacher. We are active, love sports and spending time at the beach. We've been travelling a lot so far and are always happy to meet new people. We both have been living in shared houses here in Germany and are very tidy and clean. Looking forward hearing from you!! Niklas & Nina
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
LOOKING FOR TWO ROOMS. Hi! My name is Liam and I am a 4th year Veterinary Medicine student at The University of Sydney. My brother Sean and I are looking for two separate rooms relatively close to Sydney Uni. Sean is in his third year of Marine Biology at Sydney Uni. I have lived in share housing for three years now and have got it pretty much down pat. I can cook, clean and live cohesively with other people. I know how gross dishes left in the sink all weekend can be... I am at uni everyday and work on weekends at a local pub and sometimes during the week as a student ambassador the Sydney Uni. I am a quiet housemate as I am studying most of the time, but love having the odd dinner with housemates and friends and sitting around the lounge room just chatting. Sean and I are from a small country town in NSW and moved to Sydney for uni. I love to skateboard, go to the gym and go to heavy metal gigs. I would like to find a cool place with my brother Sean who does 2nd year Marine Biology at USYD. We would prefer to move into an established sharehouse and have no doubts we would fit well into anywhere we move into. Pets are cool, and I have no doubt I'd get along well with your dog or cat!
HEY LOVELY SYDNEY! I'm a friendly, neat and outgoing person, looking for a private room with tidy housemates. Not super keen on smokers, pets or parties! I'm returning to full time study and casual work so I won't be home too much but hopefully have some time to hang out! I love coffee, cooking, and attempting to keep fit with the odd run, yoga or cycling. I love going for a coffee or cocktail and getting out to the beach or national park. A car space would be handy too!

Hi, I am Mat, a 23-year-old who works at the Prince of Wales Hospital as an Allied Health assistant. I moved to Sydney in September from Perth and so far, I am loving it. I am a social, friendly kind of person, who loves to cook and have the odd glass of wine. I'm 23, housetrained and looking for a stable base as I've been househopping between sublets since 2015. I'm going back to study International Politics at USyd, originally an actor from Perth, been in Sydney for a year now. I teach art, work at the cinema, and have a motorbike that needs only the teeniest parking space, but street parking works at a pinch. I'm pretty chill and tidy, prefer to get work done at home and party elsewhere so I can ghost whenever I damn well please.

Rita and Joe
I'm a 25 year old finishing off my second degree, looking for a home for my two cats and I somewhat close to the city. I'm pretty chilled and laid back, and tend to work late nights. I'm clean and considerate and quiet. I'm a bit of a bookworm and also fond of the odd night out. As I have two kitties, I would prefer somewhere pet friendly. They give great snuggles, I promise!
My name is Amy, I am 25 and work full-time at a law firm. Reasons I am great to live with: - Easy to get along with - I take pride in my things - I am a very clean & tidy & pick up after myself - I love spending time with my family & friends - Into fitness, going to the gym & having a good run. At the moment I am living in Leichhardt, have been in my current house for 2 years & just looking for a change.
Hi there! I tell bad jokes and bring home wine every now and then. And I can cook basically anything. I'm a Masters student at UTS with an astonishing amount of bath products. Please give me a roof and some WiFi. Thanks.
