Hi! My name is Banu
I’m a 25-year-old Emergency Department nurse, and I’ve recently had the privilege of accepting a job offer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown!
I’m planning to move from Queensland to Sydney in late Feb and am ideally hoping to find a flatmate to share a 2-bedroom apartment with (preferably close to RPA Hospital). I will also require a car space as my non-standard working hours mean I unfortunately can’t always rely on public transport.
My budget is up to $450 a week.
As a roommate, you can expect me to be pretty low-key and easygoing. Having lived with flatmates for the past few years, I am very comfortable with, and respectful of, the etiquette and boundaries that come with shared spaces. I’ve been blessed with many wonderful roommates (turned regular mates) in the past and have lived with 2+ people, pets, and even families with little ones, so I’m pretty open-minded in that regard. However, if I were to team up with one person, I’d prefer a female flatmate, or if a couple, a trustworthy female presence in the house 🙂
Due to the nature of my job, I’ll likely be in and out of the house at different hours, depending on my shifts. I’ve gotten pretty stealthy at doing so without interrupting any of my previous roommates, but I’d love to link up with someone who’s understanding of this.
Outside of work, I love to binge-watch a good TV series (Friends is my comfort show of choice, and K-dramas are definitely my guilty pleasure), reading fiction novels, and cooking different cuisines as authentically as I possibly can (but more for fun than sustenance; it’s either a 100% authentic feast or girl-dinner for me, no in-between 😅)
I’ve always loved Sydney whenever I’ve visited, so I expect I’ll spend plenty of time out exploring the city where I can. If you’re new to Sydney too, I’d be more than happy to explore together!
If you think we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
