I'm super clean, quiet, friendly and considerate of others. I'm moving down from sunny Brisbane in Queensland to set up life in Canberra. I will be working 2 part-time jobs and studying nutrition and sports science at the University of Canberra. My favourite things in accommodation is air and light and in my flatmates I REALLY appreciate cleanliness and kindness. I'm pretty outdoorsy and live and eat relatively healthy.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
Friendly, mature, down to earth, average (Software Engineer) guy looking for a place to sleep so I can do the work which brings me here. I like many things and some things more than others. I like being efficient which comes along with cleanliness. Fun things: - Watching movies - Programming towards my own interests - Going for walks - Reading books - Drinking Alcohol and Snowboarding (in either order depending on the weather).
We are a couple relocating for work and sport. Brittany is an Australian representative athlete with full time training commitments and James is a sport professional working in the sport industry. We are both very friendly people, easy to get along with and no fuss. We generally don't spend much time at home as we are always out either training and working.
Hey! I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working a hospitality part-time jobs. I have been living in Canberra for nearly 2 years coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also like privacy and can respect the same for others. I am clean and willing to pitch in where and when it is needed. I'm easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
I'm moving to Canberra to begin a PhD at ANU. I lived in Canberra for four years during my undergrad but have been overseas for the last six months. About me: I study physics, I'm from NZ but moved to Australia almost ten years ago, I run competitively (and will often be out running in the evenings), love getting outdoors/hiking, and am keen to try growing a few veggies.
I'm looking for a place to stay in North Canberra for myself and my small collection of pets. I am a gamer, a bookworm, and a bit of an all-around nerd. I'm a tidy person who works 20 - 40 hours a week (varies each week) in hospitality. Happy to be social or keep to myself during my time off. I have a lovely English Springer Spaniel dog, he is 5 years old , well behaved and house-trained. I also have three rodents that I keep in my room. For fun, I play games, go out to the movies (or netflix) and read a lot! Hoping to find a place for myself and my pets soon. :)
Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom, for six months. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I'm renovating a house in Orange, so I head back there at least one weekend a month. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
Early twenties, female, incredibly sporty- I race mountain bikes and require a place that has secure indoor space for 3 push bikes and other general garage items. Love company, friendly and open for chats/dinners etc. Also respect others privacy and need for down time. I am working as a shift worker for the government- so will be sleeping odd hours. Love music. Clean and tidy. Love the outdoors.
Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and is going to start his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and I will come to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)
Hi, I'm a 28 year old PhD student (physics) from Germany that will spend half a year (starting early October) at the ANU. In my free time I paraglidie, ride my bike and motorbike, hike or spend time with my partner/friends. I would say I'm a laidback guy that tries to be outside when the weather is right. During my studies I lived in flatshares for several years but now I share a flat with my girlfriend so I know how to clean after myself ;-). On weekdays I will probably work long hours but on the weekends I gladly participate in activities and explore the surroundings ( I'm planning on buying a car). If that sounds like a fit to you, I'd be glad to hear from you. We can also skype to get to know each other. Cheers, Juergen
I'm a 21 woman currently working part-time as I'm on break from study. Originally from the Blue Mountains, I've been living in Canberra for nearly 3 years! I try to be creative and have various ongoing art projects. I love reading, documentaries, and learning new and interesting stuff. I always clean up after myself and try to remain conscientious of my house mates to maintain a chill environment! I'm not in a rush to move but preferably by the end of September.
Hi, I'm a student teacher finishing my masters. I'm relaxed and friendly :) I have a small white spoodle (spaniel x poodle) named Digby. He's fully house-trained, pretty quiet and loves people. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a yard for him to run around in. I'm a swing dancer and spend three nights a week dancing. I'm also an artist and spend a lot of time drawing and painting.

Hi guys! Looking for a easy going dutch girl that loves weird jokes, music, sports, food/drinks and a good talk! That's me! Currently rolling along Australia for 8 months. But I am getting back to work (hospitality) now, that's why I need a steady place for 3 months ish. Cheers!
I work part time, and study full time! I'm friendly, open, but also keep to myself. I enjoy cooking for myself and others, so if you're interested- i wouldn't mind cooking up a little dinner for us every week or so! So long as there's internet, i'm a happy gal! I'm mainly looking for a place that is already furnished, but i'm not too fussed! To be honest, i've been in a DV situation of late, and have been desperately looking for a place to live, so that i can work on keeping myself safe and happy! Please contact me if you need someone in/ around the Belconnen area, because that's where i work and study, and i rely on public transport, mainly! Thanks! :)
I will be moving down to Canberra from Sydney to work in the public service in January 2018. I have an easy-going, bubbly personality. Although I will be busy working full-time I also enjoy playing sport when I can, going out to cafes and a bit of Netflix in my spare time. I am a very organised, tidy person looking for preferably a female house mate / house mates. I enjoy my own space but am also very social and love a good chat. I am looking to move in around January of next year. Closer to the CBD would be better, but it doesn't bother me too much.
International student, doing a bachelors in software engineering at ANU. I am very tidy and easy-going guy. I like playing soccer when I am free and love cooking. I get along very well with people and also respect their privacy. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot them at me!

Hi, I am an international student who will be studying accounting at University of Canberra. I love to make new friends but I also respect their privacy. I would prefer to stay very close to the university since it's my first time here. I am from India and I pretty much adjust to anyone, except smokers.I don't smoke neither do I drink. I don't have any problem with you drinking if that's the case.
Hey guys! I'm Thiysuri and I'm 20 years old. I'm a student from UC, studying Diploma of IT. I'm currently living in a 5 share bedroom at cooper lodge UC. I want to move out soon because it's quite expensive living here. I'm currently working casual in Woden and have applied to a few other jobs. I'm a friendly person and I get along easily with people. I enjoy watching Netflix and I'm passionate about music and occasionally covers songs. I love pets, specially, dogs! And I'm hoping to find a place by October! :)
I am down to earth and clean. Love to socialise and meet new people. I do play music in my room almost every day, though if asked to lower the volume, I will happily do that. Love to go to gym, and watch random series I dont have a car at the moment, might buy one soon.
I am a 31yo male Engineer on the Canberra Light Rail. I try to stay fit and exercise (or just not get too fat) , but I do enjoy eating like a king on the weekends. a bit about me, I enjoy going to the gym, salsa dancing, my beloved Nissan weekend car, and hopefully get into some pilates for my ridiculously poor flexibility! On the weekends i dont mind a few frothies and a good burger with some banter. i enjoy going out and having a laugh , and i equally dont mind weekends chilling at home on the couch with a movie. As for house arrangements - I am very easy going and tidy, clean up after myself and easy to get along with. Im flexible with whoever I live with. Its not my first time doing the house share, so I know that everyone is different and theres always a solution so that everyone is happy. Wouldn't mind someone whos down for a few drinks or sharing a meal and some banter on the weekends! Cheers! Claudio
I'm a laid back guy, happy to add to a warm and friendly atmosphere or content to be self contained. I'm responsible and make sure to clean up after myself and chip in with more communal chores. I've just recently moved up to Canberra from Melbourne, so I'm still exploring the area. I'm into sports, with the AFL season ending I'll be moving onto NFL. I'm a massive nerd and enjoy playing board games and video games. Hope to hear from you soon. Dean
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
