Thank you for taking the time. I am a responsible and mature. My word means everything to me and I always keep it. I am direct with my communication and honest. I work as a researcher at Monash and I am currently looking for a place. My schedule - I will usually wake and leave by 8 AM, and come back to only sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. I am an Australian Citizen. My only requirements are that it is: 1. Very quiet at 10 PM onwards 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad My terms are as follows: Period - I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay 1-2 weeks up to 3 months. Notice - I am given 3 days notice. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. Flexibility - In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept equal notice, should you find someone for longer term. This gives you the flexibility to have the room occupied indefinitely, whilst getting rent for it. Budget- My budget is up to $160 per week incl. all - depending on the property and facilities. Payment - I will pay upfront each week. Bond - I will not pay bond, because its always been a hassle with delays and abuse from landlords in the past. I fulfil my obligations and can put that in writing and sign for it that I will do so within 24 hours if they ever arise. Though this will never be needed. If is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. Move-in date- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
People often describe me vivacious but I also consider myself to be quite chilled and easy going. I work full-time in Architecture and am fluent in Spanish. I’m into art, design and love attending social events. Clean, tidy and respect personal space :)
I am from Adelaide originally and moved here to start life as a junior lawyer. I work full time in the CBD but looking for a place to relax when i get home. I am very clean and organised. I have a car but can just as easily sell it if the right place comes along (also willing to consider share ownership/costs. I also have a bunch of nice furniture but likewise i can sell this as needed. I would prefer non-smokers but am not opposed to pets.
I am a 29-year-old interior designer, searching for a long-term lease, and somewhere I can call home. I am really easy going and tend to work long hours during the week. I'm a design geek who loves food, wine, design, exercise and travelling. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, and as I work long hours I am normally pretty quiet during the week. While I understand the need to respect each others privacy, I am searching for a housemate who's up for an occasional chat and who I can share a meal and a vino with.
Hi I am looking for a pretty fun, chilled and easy going sharehouse with people who will make sharing a place the best experience and that can have a chat here and there and genuinely care about respecting their fellow housemates. I am even happy to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the the chadstone, camberwell, bentleigh or brighton area. About me: I am a young professional working in retail management full time. I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
Hey Hey! I'm Chloe, a 3rd year University student studying a Bachelor of Arts and Business at Monash (hopefully finishing soon - fingers crossed). I also work part-time in hospitality/marketing and have just started volunteering at SYN FM. Although i'm a country gal at heart i have lived in Melbourne since finishing year 12 so i am familiar with the low-down of living in a shared house! In relation to roommate antics i consider myself respectful of other roommate's spaces however i am always up for a few cheeky bevs, tv binge-fests and household dinners! The unfortunate news is that my current landlord is selling and i have to find a new place by May, but new home new adventure! Hopefully this ticks your boxes!
I'm a 30 year old Finnish guy staying in Melbourne with a working holiday visa. I'm working full time in Carrum Downs from monday to Friday, so I'm looking for a place near Frankston line, but still not too far from the city. As a person I'm social, trustworthy and neat.
I am an easy, on-going guy. I am clean, reliable. I know how to keep a place tidy. I am respectful of others and other people's spaces. I get along with others easy and I know how to hold a conversation. I'm not one to throw parties, so hey, that's already a plus. By choosing me as your room mate, you won't regret it.
Hello, I am a 35 year old female looking for a house for 6 months. I just completed uni and my new job as an Audiologist starts in Melbourne for 6 months before I move back to Sydney. I'd be working pretty 9-5 hours with some weekends. I am a clean, quiet and respectful housemate, happy to give roommates space, but also up for a chat, share some dinners if the timing works, or to head to the pub for a drink. I'm originally from Canada, but I've been living in Australia for 7 years now. I love to travel, animals, and cooking and/or eating delicious varieties of food. I have a dog named Lola, she is a 4 year old Shetland Sheepdog (basically a mini Lassie). She is a clean, well trained, and I bring her for walks 2-3 times a day. Happy to answer any question about her or myself, just send me a message :)
I work away a lot so often it's like I'm not even there. I'm pretty easy going and up for a chat but I'll stay out of your hair. With food I'm happy with cooking my own or we can share!
Hey guys! My name's Sarah and I'm looking for a great house to join. I'm just starting an honours year studying Criminology at Monash. I'm 24 and I'm a very social, easy going, open minded person who loves all the good things in life like catching up with friends and family over food and drinks, traveling, music and festivals, binging on a good true crime doco and exploring outdoors. If this sounds like we could be friends I'd love to hear from you :)
Hi I'm Dirk van Eck a 20 year old guy from the Netherlands. I'm on my working holiday and I work full time at a smoothie bar on the monash university. I want to stay in a place till the end of June because I go to India for 1 month, after that I come back to Melbourne. I'm very easy going, calm, social and friendly to everyone. I'm not a party animal but I like to drink a beer or a wine. I like sports and going to the beach in my spare time but sometimes I also like to do nothing. I'm sick of sleeping in the hostels so I'll be very happy if someone has a room available for me! I hope that I wrote enough information but if you have any questions just send me a message and I'll answer everything. Bye bye
Heyoo! Previously living in Goldy yet relocating to Melbourne and now studying aviation at Moorabbin Airport. I'm quiet at times and do respect the need of others private space and time. I'm looking for a furnished room ASAP near the city or wherever I listed below. Look forward to making new swag friends/roommates! Cheers
Hi Guys, My name is Rochelle, I am 26 years old and have just come back from a year long break travelling in Central and South America. Before travelling I was based in Annandale, Sydney and had a successful real estate career in Mosman. I have relocated to Melbourne and am still in the realestate industry however working in advertising now. My main interests are health and fitness, live music, the beach, food and socialising. I am very career and fitness motivated and am the kind of person who enjoys going out to party but doesn't like bringing the party home. Hit me up if you think you have something suitable. Cheers, Rochelle
Hi Guys, We are funny couple of Swiss and we are looking for nice people to share and enjoying an accommodation. We use to live in sharehouse in different places in the world and we are very sociable, easy going and respectfull people. We love to meet people, share some drinks and parties but we also like chilling at home and sharing good time with flatmate. The good new is one of us is a chef (sponsored in Armadale) ! The second works in urban ecology. We are music and animals lovers and we have a lovely dog (female), Gouache, she is really really clean, respectfull and friendly (has never caused the slightest problem). She will arrive in Melbourne in 6 - 8 months. We are very happy to meet you via Skype, Facebook, telegram, smoke signals or carrier pigeon. We arrive in Melbourne around 15th April. Bye guys !
I am looking for a place which feels like a home. As a housemate, i will try and fit in with others by being respectful of space and boundaries, and by considerate and adaptable. I like both going out and staying in. So i am not a party animal neither a home body. At home, i like to enjoy a quiet, tranquil environment, like a sanctuary, and i love to read so if you are one to create lots of loud activity each day and night it's unlikely to work. I am clean, tidy and hygienic without being pedantic or anal. I love to keep fit, active and healthy and like to cook and eat mostly clean and healthy food. I am originally from Adelaide but have lived in Melbourne for a year and i love this city. I am full time government employee and law graduate but am also a creative and artistic person. If you think we may be compatible please contact me, i would love to meet you! In regards to furniture, i have bedroom furniture but nothing else.
I'll try to keep this brief. I'm super clean and tidy. If your home is a mess, your life is likely to be. I'm really ambitious and driven. I own my own companies but don't like living alone. It can get pretty boring :( A normal day looks like this: * Up at 5am * Training by 5:30am-7am * Working from 7am till 6pm * 1000 steps by 7pm * Home by 8pm * Dinner by 8:30pm One of the biggest perks of having me as a housemate. I bring chef made ready meals home every week. They are really tasty and balanced. You'll never go hungry. Enough to share with your friends as well lol. I also sing, song write and produce music on the weekends, so I'm rarely home, but when I am home, you'll have a laugh at the nonsense that happens to me throughout the day. I swear my life is comical.
Hey future housemate! We are a couple from Perth and Sweden moving to Melbourne from Canada(confusing, I know). I will be studying IT well my girlfriend will be working full-time. She is on a working holiday visa at the moment but will be switching to permanent resident soon. We are both down to earth people who enjoy socialising with people from all walks of life. We are both into music and enjoy keeping busy throughout the week and weekend. It would be great to share accomodation with people who would like to grab a drink or food occasionally together. If anyone has a spare room or is looking to team up together, please get in touch.
I'm Natália, a 29yo brazilian and marketing manager. Respectful, friendly and clean. Used to sharing apartments in different countries. Would like a flatmate that wants to be friends and interact a bit while still maintaining their own life and privacy. Not interested in shared rooms! Tks!
I am clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I am quite sociable but can also keep to myself if need be. I like sports and have just completed a University degree in Law/ Sports management. I am looking to move to Melbourne to start a graduate diploma. I enjoy most personalities and I can get on with anyone.
Hey guys! I'm an accountant (not the boring nerdy type) working in Malvern. Want to live closer to work for now. Won't do your tax returns but I'm happy to do house chores. I like my me time, but I'm also up for a chat. So I will definitely respect your space. After a room (furnished or unfurnished), even better if your property comes with a cat/dog - my family runs an animal rescue, I'm an animal person.
Hi I'm Jasmin, I work full time as a medical secretary (9-5 Mon - Fri) and looking preferably to team up with another female to find a place to rent relatively close to the city. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and lived alone for the past year. I orginally lived with a friend who had to move interstate so I'm very well accustomed to the responsibility of keeping on top of bills. I do have furniture for a two bedroom apartment so I can provide all furniture needed. I do occasionally go out on the weekend but prefer to have a quiet night in during the week. If you are interested in teaming up with me, feel free to message me.
Would rather stay a place long term. Dont really have a desired move in date. Currently working as an apprentice mechanic. Hobbies include fitness, surfing, going out to gigs. Just want a place thats chill and has a good vibe...and close to the beach. As a person, Im always up for a chat about basically anything and often have a drink on a friday to wind down. Love a bit of banter from time to time. Otherwise easygoing, always clean up after myself, pay the rent on time n stuff. Chill as fuck basically. If I sound like that 12/10 candidate shoot us a message
Easy going guy, work as an engineer, enjoy a chat as well as my alone time. Pretty excellent cook (if I do say so myself). Clean and tidy but not a neat-freak. Avid rock-climber and cyclist (so I come with a bike). Just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Open minded and progressive thinking with an abundance of intellectual curiosity. Happy to live with anyone who is cool and interesting, tolerant and intelligent.
I'm a kiwi who moved to Melbourne for love. That didn't work out soooo I'm looking for a place to live with other rad humans. I'm clean and tidy, I like to socialise but can also hermit like the best of them. I work in HR in central Melbourne. I'm normal
Hey, I'm Taryn, I'm an easy going Australian female & I work a regular schedule teaching school kids gymnastics while I finish my degree in biomed at Deakin 2 to 3 days per week. I play and train for beach volleyball a few evenings every week and always weekends, throughout winter too :) so I won't be hanging around the house alot. Im social with friends but I enjoy a good night sleep and never bring the party home. I balance spare time between catching up with friends, doing something creative, playing other sports socially like golf or snowboarding, hiking or taking small trips away... In a home im clean, reliable, respectful of space and privacy and drama free.
I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for studies and work. In the time I'm not occupied by one of those things, I've been enjoying exploring Melbourne! I'm a pretty easy-going person. I'm not overly fussy about cleanliness but do like to keep it tidy and organised.
Hi guys! Looking for a home for me (Ash), fiance Megan, and our mostly outdoor tabby cat (Kevin) 🐱. We're super chill... Both work full time jobs 9-5 Monday to Friday. On weekends we like to relax when we're not going away on holiday, camping, and/or seeing friends. We are LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly. Hoping to find a place reasonably close to the city (within 10km), shops, public transport, resturaunts and bars. A place with some sort of a garden isn't essential but would be awesome! Note: We currently just live with each other in a small 2br and are looking to downsize but we have a whole home of furniture we can either contribute or put in storage. Cheers! Move date ideally a few weeks notice but flexible.
Hi, I'm Olivia, soon 22 y.o from Sweden. Working as a full time waitress in South Yarra and just started Diploma of health Science at Deakin University. I'm social, easy going and like to keep it clean and tidy. I enjoying a chilled movie night at home as much as going out for a little boogie after a few drinks. And here we got a real cinema lover! Don't really know how much free time I am going to have between Work and Uni, but when I do, I spending time with friends, enjoying a brunch between way too many coffees or hitting the gym as often as I can. Hope to hear from you :) Cheers! Olivia Frisendahl
New to the city. HR Professional - Indian by origin - Cheerful - Listener - Pays bill one day in advance - Inclusive - Resourceful - Non smoker It actually depends upon how you it to be between us, I just reciprocate accordingly. Likes the gym; Up for a movie all the time. If you don't mind sharing the place with me, write back! Cheers
Electrician from Wollongong/Sydney making the big move to Melbourne. I enjoy going out and socialising when I can, but also like having quiet nights in. Responsible, tidy and respect the privacy of others.
I'm a full-time uni student and self acclaimed legend. Really low maintenance lifestyle, I'm constantly at uni or working but when I'm home I'm clean, social but also very independent. Have lots to offer in the way of furnishing and vegetables as well (i.e. couch, wii and zucchini). Need i say more?
Hi! I'm looking for a new home close to the city - filled with people that are very clean, healthy, loving and fun. I'm an organised, healthy and ambitious person, but don't worry inbalance that out with a great sense of humour, love of fun and being a big ol’ ball of geek! I currently work in the creative industries. I love heading out on adventures, dancing and doing active outdoorsy things but equally value time chilling at home, creating cool stuff or just hanging out. I'm a generally easy going person but i've lived in share houses long enough to know what i like and i'm honest about what I want so read on :) My type of share house is one in which everyone can easily use the space as their own. Meaning shared spaces in particular are always left in an extremely clean and functional-for-everyone state and general cleaning/upkeep tasks are shared and done every few weeks. I like to uphold a relaxed/friendly/supportive/respectful/loving/fun vibe in the house and being really honest and open with communication. Other things you should know: - Housemates are all the best parts of family and friends for me. I genuinely care about the people i live with and the space around me so I expect a similarly high level of respect and initiative back. - Looking for rent less than $120 a week ideally - Location wise within 20 minutes public transport access to chapel st/richmond/city is a must. - I like to do monthly meal preps so quite a fridge and freezer space is a plus! - I own a beautiful big antique mirror and it would be epic to use this somewhere! - I like a generally peaceful, comfortable, very clean and functional living environment - Cleaning with low fragrance/ low chemical products (vinegar/bicarb/natural sprays). Strong smelling stuff causes my body all sorts of issues ( i know its weird!) so I try to keep that to a minimum and ask that people i live with respect that. - I have a car so space or street parking is a factor If you've read this far and are still curious, wewww get in touch! You're probably the type of amazing person i'm looking for in a housemate! Shoot me a message and let's find out for sure! *Bonus points if you’re in the business, creative or tech industries.
I am 32 yrs old and work full time. I tend to keep to myself at home but do enjoy socialising and having a glass or 2 of vino! I am friendly, tidy and get along with everyone. I generally spend weekends with my family so not around much Sat/ Sun.

Hi! Just a girl looking for a light-filled place to call home! In between working, studying, doing my laundry and yoga, I enjoy drinking delicious coffee before 1pm; drinking red wine after 4pm and watching tv shows. Ideally looking for fun-loving housemates who would be keen for some occasional chats and hangs; and around my age (20's). I've been called a Master at stacking the dishwasher if that's of any relevance.
I will be frank, I don't think my body can handle the insane amounts of caffeine I pump into it daily due to the fact I have to get up so early in order to travel to work. My name is Nicole and I am 18 years old and looking to move closer to the city in order to minimise travel time (and by extension the time I have to drag myself out of bed) in the mornings. I work full time (Monday-Friday) as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Melbourne CBD. I am very mature, I understand the value of respect when living in such confined quarters with others, I am clean and enjoy keeping my living area tidy and in some semblance of order, I can cook and I am in already in the habit of doing my own laundry. In my spare time I like to yell at films and television shows and the characters within them, vocalise my general displeasure at everything in life, lament at the fact that hotcross buns are a seasonal delicacy and worship the musical masterpiece that is Piece of Me - Britney Spears (2007) Move date: Mid - Late May
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and will be a full-time student at Melbourne Uni from February. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne this year to study my masters in human resources. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, and occasionally having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one.
Hi! My name is Pierre. I am 26 and have recently moved to Melbourne from Adelaide for work and looking for friendly housemates to live with. I work as an architect for a large company in the CBD. I am really easy going and spend most of my time either at work or hanging out with my friends. I would love to find some housemates who are really easy going young adults like me and friendly.
My name is Holly, I'm 18, British, and got a new stable job in the CBD so I'm looking for a place to make the commute easier as I work a rotating roster so my shifts are alternating 24/7 (I'll be quiet entering and exiting so I won't disturb you). I'm friendly, tidy, and always up for a good chat but happy to give you your own space. On my days off I love to make yummy food and relax with some netflix :) Looking for a place where I can have my own private room and preferably around $170.
Hi! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Filip and i'm and dutchie traveling through Australia who want's to live and work in Melbourne for a while (2months minimum). I'm really social, fun and tidy also known as the three most important factors of a roommate. I'm laid back and i rarely ever stress. Since i plan on working full-time i won't be home that much so you'll have all the privacy you desire. On my day off i like to relax in the sun with a cold beer or watch a good movie, have a nice diner and go out for drinks. i'm really into art and do photography myself. I've been working as a cook for a while so expect some delicious diners. Don't miss out on one of the nicest roommates of Melbourne!
I'm Zac, 22, Student Architect most recently sharing in Armadale. I recently completed my Bachelor and I'm planning on starting my Masters in March. At the moment I'm working at Myer in the city, I do around 25+ hours a week. I'm a pretty social guy but also enjoy a bit of quiet time as well. Like the idea of living with some likeminded people. Super clean guy and very respectful of peoples property. I have a few items of furniture and other bits and pieces to contribute as well.
Hi guys, I'm looking for a place to call home and some friendly people to call housemates! I'm an Engineering/Architecture student at Monash Uni, originally from Queensland. I'm a pretty quiet person but love a good chill sesh with friends, and I have an avid appreciation for the outdoors and all things arty! I can make a pretty good meal, and am more than happy to clean. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be suitable!
Argentinian guy 24 years old.. looking for a single room "long term stay" i'm a soccer player and i work full time too . i like to play piano and create music on my laptop , sometimes i like to go out and enjoy the Australian night .. i love to eat healthy food and always up for a glass of red wine . Hey! My name is Max, I'm 21 years old and I'm originally from Auckland, New Zealand. I made the move to Melbourne late last year and am currently only here until mid-July as I have to return home to complete my degree before I come back! I'm currently working in retail as well as studying Computer Science. I like to be social in my spare time, go to the gym, be outdoors, read and play video games. It would be great to have a housemate(s) who I can share a bottle of wine with from time to time :)
I am looking for a place that is comfortable and friendly, I'm reasonably busy during the week and on weekends like to get out and spend time with friends and catch up with family. Would be nice to find a place that can offer this, I like to get to know the people I live with whilst respecting boundaries at the same time.
My name is Jim, I work full time in advertising, possess a dark sense of humour and am looking for some chilled out roommates who don't mind being social, but also won't cook meth in our house. To get the obvious out of the way, I'm clean, respectful of space and work pretty long hours - so I'm ideally looking for a place where there's an even split between social hangs as a household and room for some downtime. I also pay my rent on time and clean up after myself - but I'm not looking for a household with neat freaks either. By that, I mean, if the shifting of a vase is likely to ruin your day, I'm probably not keen. Actually, who owns a vase in this age group anymore? Okay, if you own a vase, don't contact me either. Some of my other interests include video games (I'm a bit of a nerd), photoshopping your faces where they don't belong (trust me, it's endearing), and I'm not going to lie, sometimes the worst of the worst reality TV warms the darkest depths of my soul. If the thought of living with what you've just read doesn't rattle you to the core, hit me up. I'm sure we'll get along just fine.
Student from Perth, Western Australia. Studying Arts, Majoring in Human Rights and International Relations at Monash University. Likes to spend time outside, skateboarding, going to the beach, writing, reading, listening to music, going to gigs and visiting art galleries. Very focused on studies and busy outside of university, so I keep fairly to myself however always up to socialise and make some new friends. Super neat, Non-Smoker.
Hi! We are a couple, Juan from Argentina and me from Spain, we both are 34. We have arrived in Melbourne three months ago. I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry so I expect to find a job within the industry once I get my skilled visa, and Juan works in hospitality but is willing to study something new. We are a friendly, easy-going, clean and tidy young couple, we have been living in shared houses for many years so we are pretty aware of all the domestic duties. We are also very independent people who appreciate time to ourselves and we are respectful of each other's space. We do not like to party at home but we enjoy to have an occasional drink or meal with our flatmates.
I work as an Architect full time. I like to stay active. Most weeknights I'm either working at my second job, out with friends or ideally at home. I leave to the gym around 0445 am so I am out for most of the day during the week. Weekends I like to catch up with friends/housemates and prep for the week ahead. I can also cook, I consider myself very easy to get along with. Oh, would be great to get a car space if possible. Looking for min 6 month stay...but flexible. Available now! If you have any other questions please ask :)
I'm a 27 year old health professional and work full time. I'm very easy going and looking for a relaxed and social house. I like to keep active and stay pretty low key during the week and like to get out at weekends. I love travel (recently returned from living in the UK), play netball and watching a good TV series.
Hi, I’m a professional working full time in the Textiles/Fashion industry. I like sport, I play netball twice a week. I’m also a bit creative and enjoy drawing and sewing. I'm a pretty relaxed easy going person, who likes to have a chat (or watch a movie) and chill out in the evenings. I enjoy a good coffee and socialising. I'm looking for a place to call home, with similar age people. ** Edit: If you send me a message and I don't reply, it's because I'm going overseas for work for a week, I return on 20/Mar. I'll get back to you when I return.
Hi Guys, I am looking to move into a two bedroom apartment and am looking for a like minded person to house share with! I am very flexible on dates as I would like to find somewhere amazing that suits both of our requirements! I'm English 28, working for a fashion head office in Richmond, I love cooking, seeing Melbourne, being with friends and having a cosy home to come back to. Love being sociable at weekends, with a few nights of seeing friends mid week. If possible it would be nice to house hunt together so we're both involved in picking the house! let me know if you're interested and we can meet for drinks.
Recently moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong. Looking forward to meeting awesome new people here in Melbourne as I did during my time in London, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong. I am a Chemical Engineer by qualification but looking for work across different industries. I'm a pretty lively person who enjoys music, sport and beers but also respectful of others' space and interests. I have been told I'm enjoyable and easy to live with, so I hope we can have a good time.
