Hi there I'm an archaeologist and am moving to Brisbane to do my Masters degree. I'm seeking a room in an apartment in a small, quiet complex or a house. Wants: - Share with only one other person - My own bathroom - Built in robes - Unfurnished room (large) - Non-smoking and non-drug house (and limited drinking) - Someone who is quiet and keeps regular hours during the week (quiet before 6.30am and after 10pm works for me!) - Socialising predominantly kept outside of the home Desirables: - A pool! - A lockup garage About Me: I am 44, very tidy, very quiet, and really respectful of other people's property and personal space. I'm very friendly and enjoy a chat, but I tend to keep to myself (studying, meditating etc.). I don't drink, smoke, take drugs or listen to loud music, and want to live with someone likeminded. I don't watch tv and prefer to live somewhere where it's not on 24/7. I have all my own kitchenware which I prefer to use. I also have a few pieces of furniture that would need to go in the living room (lovely wooden bookshelf, wood tea chest, vintage Danish coffee table, large gorgeous tribal rug, a couple of large paintings and some vintage Scandinavian bric-a-brac). I am looking for a place that is clean, preferably modern, with tasteful furnishings. I have all my own bedroom furniture and need a room able to fit a queen bed, 2 bedside tables, and a desk, chair. I have a second bookcase that can go in either the living room or my room (if it will fit). I am 100% reliable paying rent and bills on time (I can provide references if required). If you think I would be a good fit for your place then please email me. Alternatively, I am open to house hunting with 1 other person, so drop me a line if you're interested. I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Annika
Hi future housemate(s)! We are currently inspecting houses in the Inner North of Brisbane. Our ideal house should be quiet but close to public transport, preferably have a gas stove and air-con. A garden and/or nice deck would be great as well. And we love timber floors and VJ boards. Depending on what comes up, we'd either like to find another couple or just a single person to live with. A little about us: Paul runs a home maintenance business and loves spending time out in the bush or creating things in his workshop. Sarah is a self-employed German tutor and enjoys meeting friends, museums and music. Both of us like watching movies, drinking coffee or wine, hiking, exploring and getting out of the city. We're not the kind of couple that you will always find together doing the same thing but we're quite independent. We also have a geriatric cat named Tom (seriously, he is 21!) who may or may not still be around when we're moving house. But not looking at getting another one after him. It would be great to find someone who is looking for a home and not just a house, appreciates the good things in life, is somewhat clean and knows how to run a house and simply enjoys living with other people. Our move-date is flexible and we're really just looking for the right place. Please get in contact if you think we could be a fit! Cheers, Sarah and Paul
Hey! I'm Kelly and I work full-time in Woolloongabba as a graphic designer and am looking for a place with my 1 and a half year old dog! He's a border terrier cross, so a small breed with a huge personality who is house trained! Would need a fully fenced yard for him and he's used to being inside and out when I'm home. Happy to find somewhere with another dog, preferably a larger breed as he takes a little to warm up to smaller dogs but definitely would like them to meet and see if they got along or not whether small or large! I'm pretty chilled and would prefer to live with no more than 2 other roommates unless the property is spacious enough that you're not on top of one another. Also don't mind the suburb as long as it's not too far out and moving date is completely flexible.
Hi! I have lived in my fair share of share houses so I am respectful and tidy :) I am friendly but also pretty quiet, non-smoker, and quite busy so I'm not home too often.
We have a small puppy who loves cuddles. We both work and study full time so we wouldn't be around too much. Ideally we are looking for a granny flat but we are open to sharing with another couple or single. I study design and my partner studies media comms. We are friendly, clean and like a few drinks on the weekend.
I am currently renting in Newmarket. I'm in the downstairs of a large Queenslander that was set up as a b&b and the other flatmate is an elderly man who is working and very easy to get along with. However, I would love to get into accommodation with younger and more vibrant people. I gym regularly, I have been in marketing and now moving into finance management at Natureworks - the No Poo Zoo out in Highvale in the jungle!! I use to spend every weekend working on my acreage in Samford. Now that I'm in the city I'm looking for people to hang out with on weekends and do anything social. NOT BINGO :) I have my own rockclimbing shoes; harness, I road cycle with the City Lifecycle, my boyfriend takes me jet skiing occasionally, however would be great to have people around me who are energetic, enthusiastic and adventurous to add to my life. Doing things that don't necessarily take a lot of $$ is great. I want to buy a house in inner city, but that's proving a challenge in this current market. I have 3 daughters all finished uni and living in city - doing their own thing. I do love to have the occasional dinner party with them. They are all bright, friendly and balanced. 2 with steady boyfriends, one on the prowl again :) I have Hungarian blood in me - so in the past I have loved to party but I am mellowing a little there and looking after my health more. I have a cousin from Hungary and his son coming to visit me for 3 weeks in February which I am excited about. I am very health conscious and would rather cook than buy takeaway. I'm very clean and neat and always happy to help if someone's doing it tough. I love to travel, however have to save for the next trip after 3 holidays last year - skiing, Barossa and a cruise. I do have my own friends who I see socially occasionally however they are all busy with their own families and usually not available to hang out with on weekends etc. I love celebrating family, Christmas, birthdays and just loving life.
I am a student going into my 3rd year of studying criminology. I am very social and love meeting new people, I work at boost juice so I can make a mean smoothie. I'm clean, well spoken, respectful and easy to get along with, just looking for some like minded people to live with and have fun while doing it
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 3 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. John has just finished 12 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
I am a funny, type of person who enjoys the company of others, I can cook, and keep things clean not afraid of cleaning and keeping things tidy. When I have spare time love the outdoors and exploring new places to visit. I workout most days and studying a lot with Batchelor of Health Science in Acupuncture. I am a qualified Shiatsu Practitioner dealing with muscle aches and pains and other health issues. Looking for a quite place not wanting to be in a place that parties all the time as studies are important. I like to socialise and meet new people.
Heyy, I'm looking for a place to stay in Brisbane since I've just graduated and live on the Sunshine coast but will be going to QUT. I'm friendly, easy going and reliable. I'm also very new to this as well. I enjoy the outdoors, reading books, and food of course
I'm a 23 year old chef looking to move up to Brisbane in mid-late January, I'll hopefully be starting a business degree at Griffith in late February. I have been cooking for four years and have used my ability/trade to work all over Australia, and I love to cook at home with a couple of beers for friends/house mates. I am a friendly, easy going guy who loves the outdoors and have a keen interest in health and fitness. I love being social, seeing new things and meeting new people. I am clean and respectful of my own and shared spaces of the house, and I have lived in and shared houses for six years, and over that time I have never had any issues. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up, looking forward to hearing from future housemates . . .
We are a group of three sociable and bubbly girls, looking for a few more people to join us at our new house (when we find one). Unfortunately we have to part from our current housemates after our lease ends, but we would love to continue on our traditions as "The Bardy Bunch", and keep a fun and family atmosphere. We are looking for responsible, but social people- we love the occasional loose party, but also value nights in. We would prefer a few guys to balance out the house, but would never say no to cool girls. About us: Mel and Bec are both recent UQ grads, soon to be starting full-time professional work in the city. Cassie is a beautiful swede, struggling to stay in the country (she does have a job though, don't sweat it). Basically, we are just looking for clean people who we can be friends with and have family dinners together (no need to be able to cook though, although it would be appreciated).
I'm a 20yo studying Law full-time and working. Looking for an easygoing household to move in with, preferably for 6months+ and close to either QUT Kelvin Grove or Gardens Point!
I'm tidy, organised and quiet. I'm from Brazil and I'm looking for a place where I can meet new friends that can help me to improve my English.
clean, tidy and organized. Social drinker, non-smoker, do not take any drugs. I love animals, can help around the garden and house. I enjoy my own company, however, it would be wonderful to make new friends. I love reading, cooking, art, movies, tennis, swimming, horse riding and bike riding. I try to be healthy and enjoy learning about new places and alternative pursuits.
im 21, work full time. not home most weekends, out adventuring or at the beach. i would prefer to live by myself in a 1 bedroom or granny flat etc or with one or two other people (no couples) and would prefer to live with people around the same age. I'm a pretty chilled person and laid back. i am clean and like to be in a clean environment. will pay maximum $230 per week including bills or $200 per week plus bills. don't mind dogs etc
Hi there! My friend and I are looking for a third person to join us in the hunt for a new place. Must be pet friendly as she has a beautiful dog, and be willing to crack open some wine every other night. Pretty flexible with location, but price each per week no more than $200.
I am a pretty chilled danish guy who likes to meet new people. I am going to be studying sports at QUT for a semester. I have lived with numerous different people and have never had any troubles making it work as it should. I like to cook and enjoy a beer and if you'd like to join I'd be more than happy to share. My favourite thing to do at the moment is to cruise around on my longboard. Greetings, Julius.
Hi my name is Lisa! I recently just graduated from uni and i'm working part-time for a Marketing company and part-time as a sales consultant. I am looking for flatmates who are like minded like myself. I am very easy going, friendly and I enjoy a bit of a chat now and then. I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis, cooking and having a social glass of wine with friends. I am great to live with because I am an organised, clean and a respectable person who gets along with most people. Feel free to send me a message :-)
Hey! I'm Harry, a recent graduate working full time for the state government. Born in Brisbane, just moving out of a 1 year lease share apartment and looking to upgrade. Overall, I would consider myself social and easy to talk to but still introspective and definitely in need of my own space some of the time. As a housemate I think of myself as communicative and friendly, I'm not a cleaning nut but like to live tidily and hope that you do too to some degree. Don't have any pets but would be more than happy to move into a place that has some. I love music a lot and love talking about it. I also like art and reading books and I just gained an interest in gardening! If I can find people with similar interests and values, I'll be happy!
I'm a pretty easy going, friendly 25 year old working full time in real estate. I have rented/shared before and am very neat, tidy and considerate. I keep to myself but also don't mind the odd catch up with housemates. I am looking to move to be closer to work. I have a little cat called pepper who will be coming with me. She is very friendly and loves to play and have pats.
Easygoing, fairly quiet, and neat. Gets along well with lots of different people. Good at managing household duties, not shy of work. First year paramedic student, two years out of high school. Own vehicle. Mature and independent.

Hi guys, I am a 31 year old male who is relocating to Brisbane to undertake a Masters degree at QUT. I live a healthy and active lifestyle, very clean, friendly, and respectful of others. I am easy to get along with and enjoy a good friendly conversation with housemates whilst also respecting space and privacy. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker (one or two socially on occasions at most). Ideally i am searching for somewhere to live with friendly, mature and respectful people and am not looking for a "party house" or anything alike. So if you have a place and feel like you could use a fun, friendly, and respectful guy to join your house family then please get in contact with me.
Hello! We are an easy going, clean and friendly couple looking for a room to rent in Brisbane North side. I am studying full time and Strath works full time. I am interested in health and wellness and strath enjoys creating art and photography. Look forward to meeting you :) Kara & Strath
I am 28 years old; Studying Education(Secondary) Maths Major/Science Minor at QUT. Previous Science and Design Degrees. Recently moved back up from Melbourne in Jan after 3 years. Working in Special Needs in the Fortitude Valley I am courteous, prompt with bills, pretty quite when at home; usually studying. Enjoy cooking, especially with housemates, keen on keeping things super clean and organized. Previous renting situations were both long term and very loving homes. Always had rent and bills in on time. I only have bedroom furniture so happy to chip in for things needed around the house or to put in some elbow grease to cover using other people's things. Probably looking to invest in nice kitchen equipment/herb garden. Pretty handy around the house. can do basic home repairs, fix bikes, manage gardens etc.
I'm Jack, a mature 25 year-old studying Quantity Surveying at QUT. I have a FT cadetship at a firm on Eagle Street in the City. I enjoy cooking, watching films of all genres, listening to music, and having a decent conversation over a neat scotch or wine. My other interests include architecture, art, photography, and board games - which I have an extensive collection! As a housemate: I am exceptionally clean, mindful of noise and neighbours. I have a cat, 'Squiggles'. She is very low maintenance but does require a garden / courtyard. She is super sweet and gets along with anyone after meeting them. I have plenty of household furniture. Feel free to drop me a message if you think I'm a good fit. I have a flexible move date but an generally looking to get up and settled by mid- to late-January. - Jack
We're both from Rockhampton, born in 97' and both studying whilst living in Brisbane. Sophie and I are both responsible, respectful and independent people who like to stay tidy but also love to have fun in our down time.
My current roommate and I are looking for a third person, maybe even fourth to find a 3 bedroom apartment/townhouse/house. Looking for people around our age, preferably female. We want to find someone we can feel comfortable living with and can get along with. Roommate works full time, I basically work full time and study full time. Both easy to get along with, both tidy also! We go to goodlife gym too if you need gym buddies! We work at a club Saturday night but love having a drink if we aren't.
Easy going, just amicably seperated, looking for a nice place to settle, closer to my kids in Ferny hills. Non smoker, intermittent social drinker, quite and work long days Monday to Friday. Fully employed occupational hygienist with good job security. Like to keep a tidy ship end not averse to house work. One person only, webpage wouldn't accept the application for some reason on one.
Hi I'm Laura, I have been living in Brisbane this year just doing my gap year as a full time nanny. I am looking to find a new house before commencing university next year. I'm originally a country girl from out west so I love the outdoors and animals. I am very easy going, sociable, clean and considerate. I am quite a social person, I love being out and about but also love my own company and respect others' space. Looking for a warm and friendly environment, whereby you make some mates and can have the odd beer but also respect one another's privacy.
polite & friendly, clean & hygienic, respectful & easy going.
Pretty open about life and tolerance levels are high. But if you are religious we probably won't get along. Officially a contractor to Dexion and will operate out of a storage shed. Part of the production crew at Blend Line TV and can get passionate about motorsport as I am a race driver in a past life. Gaining an interest in philosophy. Probably a spin off from practicing yoga. Board game enthusiast and likes being around dogs and cats. Likes dog memes. Chases food trucks around Brisbane and is a light drinker. Only speaks about himself in third person when filling out profile descriptions. I'm resettling in Brisbane after many months of coming and many months of going all over the world and Australia. It's been a long migration from Sydney over the last 3.5 years but i really feel Brisbane is home. Work has been low on the priority list lately but once settled I will be pushing that up the order. Please don't think that because I haven't been working that money is lacking. I'm pretty well covered on that front and if I can travel the world and race cars i'm pretty sure I can cover rent and bills. I choose to share for a few reasons- i'm on a minimalist streak so less is more, I'm happy to help others, and freedom of choice and not having to commit to buying or signing contracts. Prefers unfurnished room. Can provide fridge, washer, lounge room stuff etc.
Hi, my name is melissa, I'm a 26 year old female. I have just left the navy after 8 years to study psychology. Being in the navy I'am used to all styles of living and people! I'am clean, and independent but I'm also looking for a share house where we are all friends and can watch movies etc from time to time. I love fitness and healthy living, and ild love to learn to bake! I'm looking for a comfortable, calming and friendly household. Plus I come with a Netflix password 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Hello! My name is Krista and I am a 25 year old Canadian traveller who is searching for a place to rent! I am a very clean, quiet, respectable, individual who isn't loud and does not party. I love to cook, and am always trying new recipes. I also love being active and going for runs or to the gym! I recently moved to Brisbane and am in search of a lovely place to call home. I am looking for a furnished room with all bills included, unlimited wifi, washer, my own bed, parking for my car, and a home gym would be a plus! I do have some time to look for a place and would be looking to move in end of February.
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my coffee and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Looking to move into a place by mid February 2017. Amanda
Just looking for a neat place with chill roommates. I don't mind houses with pets either, but would prefer to live with females. I'm a 20 year old female who just graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and is looking for full-time work. (I'm still able to pay rent and bond in the meantime). I'm a tidy person and very easy to get along with. In my free time I like to just chill with friends, catch a movie or find a cool new place to eat. I'm always down for a new adventure and love a good day trip, and I watch too many tv shows. I'm not a party animal, but i'll go out every once in awhile if i'm feeling like it. And I also don't smoke. I'm also interested in teaming up with 1 or 2 people and applying for apartments or units. I've found a couple places i'm interested in so feel free to message me if you're interested in teaming up! I'm looking at places around 400pw for 2 people or max 600pw for 3. But am happy to go lower in price. I'm mostly looking on the northside (no further than Zillmere) but am happy to look at the southside as well.
Hoping to find some cool cats to build a leafy, sunny, arty, creative space with (or to join an existing place). I'm studious, and read and write a lot, for work and for pleasure, and I value space as well as companionable cups of tea and meals and drinks. Would love to live with friendly, left-leaning people who work/study who don't mind a harry potter movie marathon every once in a while
I've just finished my Diploma of Education, and will be starting at BSHS in January. I have a pet dog named Bowie, who is a miniature poodle cross, so is small, well behaved and doesn't shed. I'm very respectful of personal space, but do enjoy being social and being able to get along with my housemate/s. I enjoy my rugby, and still play (poorly), going out for some weekend drinks, binge watching, and adding new finds to my record collection. Looking for a place with a large room so I can comfortably fit my desk in as I bring a bit of work home, and only 1 or 2 housemates (not looking for a loud party place!). Also, it would be great if there was at least a small back yard for Bowie. Feel free to contact me if you're looking for someone to team up with to find a place as well, as I'm also looking for new places that a housemate can potentially move into later.
Hi there, My names Brittany, I've recently moved from north Wales,UK and looking for a house share with some friendly people! I'm very tidy and respectful of other people. I've lived on my own for 3 years before arriving here and I really hope to find like minded people to live with. I work in a bar full time where my hours vary. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. I live music and socialising! I'm really friendly and I'm open to different cultures as well :)
Hi I'm Warwick. I'm an easy going, friendly guy & work as a plumber. I do long hours so I mainly come home to cook & sleep. I am respectful, quiet, neat & tidy. I like to chill out with friends on the weekends & am always keen to meet new people and have a laugh. Hopefully we can become friends as well as housemates. Swing me a message if you're keen to team up :)
Hello! I am looking to move to a new place in early Feb. I normally work full-time in the city from 8 to 4 but I am doing a fair bit of travel these days for a special assignment in regional QLD. Over the weekend, I normally catch-up with friends or relax at home reading a book or watching Netflix. I play indoor soccer on Sunday's afternoon. I also go out to Latin social dance parties. I love animals but highly prefer a pet free house. I don't smoke and expect the same from my flatmates. I love music, art, science and languages. I’m looking to share a space with tidy, social, joyous and respectful people.
Friendly, easy going and tidy. I have my own small business and work part time. Looking to create a comfortable and homey place with one other person. Looking to rent two rooms in the house (one for bedroom, one for office) or a bedroom and covered studio space.
Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working for the government in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a large unit or townhouse that I can call home. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who enjoy a casual drink or dinner catch up or a TV series marathon/movie every now and then and who are casual and easy going. I also need an undercover car park. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling, photography and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be fine. At this stage I am flexible with move in dates. I am also interested in team ups - so feel free to send me a message and we can discuss more. I hope to hear from you soon.
I'm 20 and entering my fourth and final year of university at QUT. I come from Toowoomba so I've rented in Brisbane the last 3 years while at uni. I'm quite busy with university, work and clinical placements so I am organised and out of the house a lot. I live pretty practically so I just have what I need, no junk and keep my belongings neat in my room and won't take up much living space at all. I can tend to be a bit of a quiet room mate (just as I need to study and work a fair bit), but love little chats and laughs in the mornings and evenings when I'm home from work and love to make the most of any time off with good food/ drinks/ a night out or fun casual nights in. I have a car but won't mind parking on the street. I study and work in the health field (medical imaging).
So I wanting to move out my current place by the beginning of January. Most of my friends aren't in the position to move out with me. 😒 I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to move into a house and call it our own. Based in Paddington, Milton, Red Hill, Ashgrove and Wilson. So if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me and send me your details. Let's hang out, get a coffee or a cocktail. See if we gel and all that jazz. A little bit about myself. I like getting into mischief :) I would consider myself a social bunny. I'm always procrastinating doing my uni work and rather be hanging out on the deck with a drink in my hand or literally anything. I'm easy going , open minded and creative person.
Hey there, We are two awesome dudes looking for either 1 more person or a couple to share a place with. We both work night shift generally so looking for housemates who can respect privacy and sleeping times while also up for house drinks/meals/movies etc. We are both very chilled and enjoy a few drinks, playing music, watching movies, living a healthy lifestyle and relaxing. If this sounds like your vibe, please let me know :)
