Hey everyone, my name is Chris! I'm a 34 year old shift worker in an Intensive Care Unit. I'm in the market to find a new place to call home as my current roommate is looking to move interstate. Ideally I'd like somewhere within 3km of the city in a clean, fun and social share house. I enjoy long romantic walks to the Nespresso machine and am mildly obsessed with dogs. I'm prompt with bills, enjoy spending time with my roommates while also respecting their space, and love spontaneous beach trips as much as I do Netflix and chocolate.
Hello!! As an Australian citizen and being here in Brisbane for 6 years I can proudly say I am a local. I just returned from a Holiday and looking for a friendly home to settle down and get back to reality haha. Well I work full time in retail in CBD and also have social worker background. I am friendly and easy to get along with everyone and everything as long as you are good with hygiene. I am personally super tidy, clean, quiet, trustworthy, have good sense of humour, and respectful of your privacy and space. I live an active healthy lifestyle. I love fitness, music, gigs, beach and road trips. I'm fairly chill and quiet, and tend to keep to myself if I am home, however, I am an extrovert and if you are the same we would be a good fit to hanging, chatting and sharing meals and beverages sometimes, otherwise I don't bother you ;) For now please message me here on flatmates until I re activate my simcard. Cheers
I'm an easygoing and friendly chick 😊 21 years old, study fulltime and work parttime 30hrs/wk - both in the CBD Happy to be social with you but am also laid back and will respect your personal space. Very clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around! Usually busy throughout the week with work and uni, and most weekends I stay over at my boyfriends place or am out and about with friends, not a huge party-animal but I don't mind a few drinks on the weekend to unwind Looking to move in with like-minded and friendly housemates with positive fun vibes around end-September into inner-city Northside/Westside fringe suburbs Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match 😊
Hi I'm Tayen, I'm a 27 year old student who just returned from 6 months exchange in Denmark. I have a strong hospitality and retail background so I'm great with people. I'm pretty easy going, creative, clean, happy and I like to socialize and cook. I like to have friends or family over for dinners or a few casual bevvies every now and again. I like trying new things and I like to be able to have a chat or hang out with my housemates on occasion but I don't want to be living in each others pockets. I'm looking for a relaxed household where everyone is respectful of each other but also likes to have fun and a bit of a laugh. I like hanging out on the internet, watching tv shows and movies, playing the occassional gaming console, going out every now and again, arts and crafts, festivals and lots of other things. I'm looking for easy going people who are clean and friendly and don't mind socializing on occasion. I'm also looking for people who don't mind if I have friends and family come and stay on occasion and people who like to have bbqs and the occasional drink. Relaxed, friendly people who are reliable with bills and like to have a laugh.
I'm 21, easy going and working full time and training through the week. Will be out most weekends and if i'm not i'll just be hanging out. I'm nice and friendly, clean and tidy. I'm just looking for a roommate who shares my same qualities, isn't to serious of a person who can have a laugh and live easily with.
I am 25 years old male, super tidy, fulltime personal student studying at JCU I really am super clean, tidy and respect people around me! I pay on time I am really outgoing and love having conversations but I also love resting and silence, so won’t be chewing your ear off and give your own space Message me if you have any other questions
Im good to live with because i keep to myself, if youre up for a chat then im 100% going to chat back but other than that i work as much as i can and when im not working im out with friends.
Hi I'm Kelsey! I'm a student studying Primary Education and working part-time with children. I'm a clean and considerate person who enjoys being social in my free time, but also need my own quiet space to focus on study. I love socialising with family and friends, watching sport, exercising, cooking, brunching, markets and weekend adventures to the beach/hiking. All of the good stuff! I am looking to live with people who I can become good friends with rather than just housemates :)
Hi There. My name is Nash and I am a 26 year old student at UQ. After returning from Melbourne for 7 months I am keen to re-establish myself in Brisbane and find a place. You'll find that I am a pretty easy going guy. When I am not studying or working I am usually out catching up with friends, going to the gym or practicing guitar in my room. Having said that I don't mind hanging out or joining for the odd beer if it is on offer ha. I am a clean person. I wash my own dishes and do my laundry regularly. Also more than happy to help sweep/vaccum when need be. I look forward to meeting future housemates, hopefully we get along and can live peacefully :) Nash.
Hi everyone, I'm a 20 year old female. I consider myself friendly and social, I love getting to know people over a glass of wine but I do respect the need for privacy and space. I currently work casually but as of early next year I will also be studying. I've been living in Red Hill but I need a place to move out to ASAP and would love to stay in the area and places nearby.
Hi there :) I'm brand new to Brisbane and don't know a soul, looking for some cool/respectful housemates to live with! I moved here for work from Perth, and will here for a minimum of 6 months (but might be more!). Ideally would like air-conditioning as I've heard that it gets pretty sweaty in QLD, some sort of parking option and maybe close to public transport. I will have a car so open to driving to work (Merivale St) but would love to have the option both ways. I'm 26, work full time in HR/CEP and generally keep to myself during the week but love a good chat whenever and some fun over the weekend. Definitely looking to pick up some sort of hobby to keep me busy while I'm away from family too. Please let me know if you have any qs! Aimee
Hello! I'm Jesse! I'm very open, warm and easy to get along. I really enjoy painting, reading, going to the beach. I like to get out of the house when I can :-) I love begin around other people and having family dinner/drinks every once in a while. But I also do enjoy my me time. I'm hoping to make friends with the people I move in with, instead of living with people who just want to be room mates (if that makes sense) For work, I'm a full time GSA, I work in tourism which is super fun and rewarding! I'm looking to move in the beginning of November as my lease ends that month. If you feel like we would get along, feel free to get in contact! :-)
I am wanting to move from Toowoomba to Brisbane (CLOSE TO CITY MAX 15 MINS AWAY) in upcoming weeks. I am currently working in Real Estate and am looking towards either staying in this industry or moving onto Marketing. I am outgoing, clean and respectful. Love a good banter but also respect privacy. :) The 3rd of September would be ideal but honestly open to earlier! Looking to live with only females. Not fussed on length of stay! **I have 2 cats BUT if it is too hard to get a place with them I will be moving on my own for awhile until I find my feet then moving to a place suited for them. They are both female, friendly & house trained. I will take full responsibility for them.
I have just graduated from QUT and have recently started a full time job in the city. I have lived in share houses for the past 3 and a half years so know the value of personal space but also having a good relationship with those you live with. I am friendly, easy going and tidy and looking to live with someone who is similar. In temporary accommodation at the moment so looking to move in somewhere soon.
Key points: - I have two wonderful fur-babies, Molly and Finn my two kitty cats! So potential housemates need to at least be able to tolerate cats! - I’d preferably like to share with one other only, but happy to go up to a maximum of 2 other housemates - I’d love a place with a dishwasher (see below!), a bath, and an outdoor area for the cats - Bedroom needs to be unfurnished. I can bring just bedroom/bathroom items OR up to a 1-bedroom worth of furniture (lounges, TV, display cupboards, desk, spare single bed, kitchenware, etc.) Although I’m quite the introvert, so require quite a bit of time to myself to recharge, I can actually hold a conversation with anyone about pretty much anything! Some like to call us extroverted introverts - I really don’t like labels to be honest - basically I’m pretty quiet, like to chill on my own or with my fur-babies, but equally like to chat with housemates, or share a wine or a meal from time to time. I am very tidy! I wouldn’t say I’m a clean freak at all - e.g. rental property MUST have a dishwasher! - but I do like a tidy, quite minimalist living arrangement. I’m the opposite of a hoarder. Speaking of that, I can move into an existing share-house with as little or as much furniture as needed. I’m actually thinking of selling the majority of my stuff, and just moving what I need for a bedroom/bathroom and to cook and look after my cats. My goal for approx. 6 years time (significant birthday!) is to be living in a ‘tiny home on wheels’ preferably somewhere on the Sunny Coast or Northern NSW - think Kingscliff. I usually work full-time for Queensland Health - in the past far too many hours - however, right now, I am on some extended paid leave. Therefore I am at ‘home’ more often than I normally would be. I love my fur-babies, chocolate, coffee, food, reading, movies, cryptic crosswords, yoga, sunshine, sunshine, sunshine, a comfy bed and a nice lie-in, discovering a great new cafe (with fingers crossed amazing coffee - few and far between lately), and just generally aiming to travel through life as relaxed as possible*. *Note: this is a work in progress! If you’ve read this far, you may not have a lot of questions, but please contact me if you do, or if you think you might have a suitable living situation for me! Cheers. :-)
Searching for: - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms - Up to $250 if some storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
Hello! I'm Kitana. To make things easy, let's do it like this. --Who am I?-- - 20 years old - 3rd year university student (QUT - studying Maths) - part-time tutor and tennis coach - Brisbanite - enthusiastic pancake eater --Why am I looking for somewhere to live?-- I've been living out of my family home for the past year and a half, and have been living in a few different places in that time (with my best friend, and currently in a share house). In mid-November, I will be working at a ski resort for five months, so ideally I would like to find somewhere short term for the two months I have left in Brisbane. --What do I like to do for fun?-- - playing the piano (I have a keyboard of my own + a piano at home) - I'm willing to give almost anything adventurous a go, whether it's climbing the Glasshouse Mountains, camping, or embarking on a spontaneous escapade in the middle of the night (in which I quietly return home) - occasionally play tennis + often play table tennis - Fun fact: spent three months working as an English teacher full- time in China (four word summary of my trip: cheap food, google translate)
I am neat and tidy, easy-going; and have all my own furniture. I work as a high school teacher and love organising camping/climbing trips on weekends.
I am working as an outdoor educator doing school camps all throughout southeast Queensland, but am also moving into the world of Clinical Exercise Physiology via a final year of study that's going to kick off first semester 2019. Until then, I'm going save my pennies and enjoy living life in Brissie. I love adventures! I spend a lot of my time travelling and pursuing 'adventure' sports, in particular climbing and mountain biking. My friend and I have thoughts about a Madagascar trip later in the year, hence the penny saving. I also play guitar and enjoy singing, though I'm probably the worst request taker in history.. hahaha Super respectful of the house environment and people's individual needs. I want to live with friends! That means that I have loads of time to develop the house rapport, do some cooking together, share some beers, just playing really, haha :D
I am a Full-Time Retail Manager. I work long hours so I am rarely at home and when I am I like to have a wine or two and just relax. I am seeking a friendly, welcoming and comfortable place to come home to at the end of a long day where I can just wind down. I'm an active and adventurous person who likes to go out exploring the City and the beaches. When i'm not working I am either out with friends, working on my Art or relaxing with a juicy T.V series or book at home. I am a clean and respectful housemate who is always up for a chat but I also understand the importance of personal space and having some alone time. Preferably seeking a Female only flat.
So my sister and I are looking for 1 person to move into our apartment/townhouse . You would be living with my sister, Em (I'm renting my room). She works full time and plays sport on the weekends. She also goes to the gym during the week- so she likes keeping fit but Really so she can eat a lot of food haha. She's very respectful of others, their property and space. She likes her down time but also likes having some wines and a platter on the weekends, occasionally going out for some drinks or watching movies. She is very easy to get along with and I promise you'll enjoy her company. Happy to meet or talk further about details if you think you'd like our place in Ashgrove. 2 bed 2 bath. Amazing patio/verandah for city views for those wine nights (👌🏽), 3 sliding doors (with mirrors) in your bedroom for your cupboard space , up and down stairs living, complex with a pool, off - street parking aaaand more ...
