Jack and I are an outgoing, friendly and fun couple! (At least we think we are) We are passionate about music and cinema, so we love singing and watching a good movie. We are easy to get along with and are looking for a share house close to work. Despite our age, we are responsible and not too loud, haha. And what we lack in wisdom, Jack makes up for with his slightly insulting, yet witty humour that you will learn to love. Speak soon :)
Heya! I've been traveling since August and now looking for a place to call home to get out of hostel life whilst working in Melbs! I am easy going, chilled and fun to live with! I don't smoke and enjoy a night out at the weekend along with spontaneous after work drinks. Preferably I would prefer to live near the beach in the St Kilda area as its my favorite part of Melbourne and looking forward to a BBQ beach day on Christmas! I'm planning on being here until at least April before deciding where my next adventure will take me. I am available to move in straight away and I am preferably looking for a place with four or more people and wouldn't mind sharing a room. Drop me a message if you have anything suitable :)
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Me and my boyfriend Sam are currently looking for a place to live in Melbourne. We are looking in St Kilda, South Melbourne, Prahan, Windsor area but will consider other areas for the right home. We have a car so need a car parking space or on street parking. We are both From England and have been in Australia a year, we love it here and want to make Melbourne our permanent home. I am a hairdresser and Sam works for a demolition comany. We are very relaxed during the week but enjoy socialising and exploring Victoria at the weekends. We are both clean, considerate, quiet and used to living with other people. Please get in touch if you have a room! Thank you, Laura and Sam
20 year old from Scotland. I am very out-going, friendly and easy to get along with. I have been travelling Australia since August 2015 and been in Melbourne since December 2015. I am currently working full-time in the city and will be until i leave Melbourne (should be around June 2017 or hopefully longer). Enjoy the occasional night out at weekends and sociable drinks after work (sometimes). I also love meeting new people. I have lived in a few other house shares, so i am well trained at keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting that other people need their space and time alone too. Preferably looking for a private room.
Hello! We are a British couple in our early 20s who have recently moved to the Melbourne area to work full time. We are both clean and tidy people who enjoy socialising but also keeping to ourselves from time to time. Looking to rent a room in a house with other likeminded young professionals/ students :)
Hi guys! Currently looking for a new house to call home! I work in the city in the day and at a bar 1 night a week! I'm social but love my quiet time! I hope you like a bottle of red or 2!
Jake and I are both two passionate individuals who enjoy music, sport, cooking, and getting to know people. We are both planning to attend Monash Uni next year for music courses, but would like to live around the city. Coming from the Phillip Island, Jake and I love the beach, and we are both very down to earth. We love all things art, and we will be able to go to some cool and funky galleries, cafes, and performances when living around the city. Jake has a bit of OCD in terms of cleanliness, and will be a great addition to the household as a domestic partner. Emma is full of vim and vigour, and will bring interesting perspectives into the household. We are a couple of two and a half years, and definitely not full-on in terms of PDA!!! Being musicians, we obviously love gigging and jamming with mates.
Hi, my name is Amrik. I'm studying master’s degree in data science at Monash University, Caulfield. I’m friendly, mature minded, organized, respect others' privacy, and culture. I'm looking for a single or shared room near Monash Caulfield campus or nearby neighbourhoods.
Hi there, Just moved permanently from NZ for work. I am a clean and tidy person. Fun loving into healthy food and fitness but also love a great food and a nice Vino. Enjoy being social and having a good time. With that said I'm happy to chill out and have a good Netflix sesh. also love to have a good laugh so you'll probably catch me laughing at myself a lot. I'm Friendly, clean, easy to live with, happy, energetic, polite and respectful. love healthy yummy cooking and baking!!
Hey There! We are a very tidy, clean, fun and easy-going couple. We are going to stay in Melbourne until at least March/ April because I am fulltime working in a Café with super nice collegues and really want to stay in this beautiful City. Richi is about to catch up with me in the end of December after finishing his master degree back in Germany. Our interessts are Yoga, cooking, good literature, conversations about philosophy, metaphysics or just random stuff as well as having drinks with friends or playing hankysack or fresbee at the parc,...... Whatever it takes to enjoy life. If that sounds like nice flatmates to you, let me know - Cheers!
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney (so I am living in Sydney at the moment) however I will be making the move to Melbourne over the Christmas break. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
I'm 23 and have recently moved to Melbourne from Scotland and looking for a place to call home! I currently work a part time job in Saint Kilda and agency work in various locations, I also have savings so am entirely self sufficient! I've lived in shared houses since I was 15 so know the responsibilities that come with it. I'm respectful of people's space and like to keep things tidy! I'd love to live with people who are also in their twenties and like to hang out as a flat from time to time over a social glass of wine or semi-heated game of monopoly. For fun I love to update my blog, attend live music events, see more of the world and cook. I'm a total feeder and also make mean cupcakes that I would be willing to share with flatmates 😉 Looking for private room in shared house and available to move in now for any period from 2-4 months!
Hey guys, I quit uni in Sydney a couple of months ago to move down here and make money for travelling the world! I'm currently working at riverland bar in the city which is awesome fun. I love music and cooking food (and eating :P) I'm a very social person and love to have people around that enjoy a good laugh!
Hi there! My name is Karolina. I am a 32 year old professional 9-5 worker who is looking for a new place to call my home. I am a neat and tidy person, who respects the place I live in. I like to do my own groceries, and as I am a vegetarian (I do eat fish) I like to cook my own food, but am more then happy to share. I do have a 2.5 year old foxy called Sparrow , who is a little shy at first, but is full of beans once he gets to know you. He is very house trained and super affectionate. He also loves the company of other dogs, so if you have a pooch yourself, that would be great! If the house has a garden, Sparrow loves to explore, and I have a bit of a green thumb where I grow herbs and some veggies - which I use in my cooking. I am looking for people who like to have a chat over a glass of wine, but also don't mind if we do our own thing and respect each others space.
I'm 26 years old, have a bachelor degree in Art and Media Management but I'm aspiring a career in coaching crossfit and functional fitness. I live an active life(running, speedrope, gymnastics rings). So while I'm here I want to fully experience Melbourne. I still don't have a job but I'm getting my white card and RSA to kickstart my life over here(gotta start somewhere😉). I have a lot of experience in hospitality as an bartender and I am willing to do every kind of job, except deskjobs(boring and not made for it). I'm open-minded, relax, adventerous and a good with people. What I'll bring to the house: good conversations, good vibes and some good meal prepping skills. I've partied a lot back home(Amsterdam), but my priorities now shifted.
I'm easy going, respectful and responsible. I believe in sarcasm and a good sense of humour. I'm a paediatric nurse, so great with bandaids. I sing and play the ukelele which could be a good or a bad thing depending on you. But don't worry, I will try and practice when you are out of the house. Im active, independent, and social. I won't be throwing raging parties, but do love to socialise. I'm a kind, generous and good-hearted person. I've just come back from living in London for four years. I'm vegetarian and do yoga, but don't judge me Judy!
We're all around great fun guys to be around. One of lives here permanently while the other has just arrived. We both work hospitality and love all things beach, skateboarding, graffiti and good times. We gel with most people and are just looking for some kick-ass folk to live with over the summer. Would love to hear any and all recommendations.
We are two easy going Israeli backpackers. We're responsible and very easy to live with. We have good, energetic vibe. We are currently looking for a job. Evyatar is playing the ukulele and doing Tai chi Omer is playing didgeridoo.
I'm mostly quiet, clean/tidy, respectful of others privacy and belongings, and pay bills on time. I'm interested in computer games, futsal, yoga, and going out for drinks. I'm currently looking for full-time work in the city and surrounding suburbs.
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
I'm an osteopath that has been lucky enough to travel the world with work for the past 10yrs. Will be settling back in Melbourne in the new year & I'm looking for a place not too far from the city. I enjoy my sport, live music, food, cooking and keeping fit. I'm tidy and easy going. I will also be traveling for work between 10-15 weeks of the year if that helps. :)
I'm a pretty easy going person, friendly and reasonably tidy. Happy to hang out and happy doing my own thing. I love to travel and looking for interesting stuff to do on the weekends. I work full time. I have two super friendly cats, who loves anyone that will pat them. So you must like cats. I'm looking a a team up to rent a whole house or apartment with a courtyard for BBQ's , a glass of vino and chilling out.
I work in I.T full time so you will often find me behind my computer making or listening to music (also trying to lay in the sun at the same time). I work from home 2-3 days a week the rest from the office in the city. I come with a very fast internet router to help with any Netflix buffering. I also have experience as a chef and in catering so I'm happy to whip up a meal.
I'm from Liverpool, England so come with a reasonable sense of humour, not before mid day however...I will be working in a bar on Ackland Street for at least the next 3/4 months but it's not in a late night venue so will not be returning too late. Looking for a private room with a double bed in whatever type of property.
Hi there, this is David. I'm a graphic designer and artist from Bogota, Colombia. I'm looking for a nice place to live with happy and easy going people. At the moment I'm studying and working part time. Im really chill guy, pretty much into art, design, cultural activities, sport and cool parties.
My current lease finishes at the end of this year and I'm looking to move sometime in January or February. Next year I will be going into my 4th (managed to stretch 2 years into 3) and hopefully final year of my bachelor of commerce at Monash (Clayton Campus). Currently I am working two jobs (St Kilda and various CBD locations). At present I'm living in Ormond but am ideally looking to move somewhere a bit closer to the city and that will cut a bit of time off my commute to work or uni. My ideal area is Richmond/Burnley/Cremorne, but I'm pretty flexible on that. Quite happy to trade off location (to an extent) to find somewhere that's better value for money. Primarily I am looking to team up with 1 or 2 people rather than join an existing place. I have quite a bit of furniture so moving into an already furnished place would be a bit of a hassle with regards to storing that. What am I like to live with? I'm a bit of a neat freak so only interested in sharing with people who like things very clean and tidy (Don't mind raising my standards, but I struggle to lower them). In general I'm fairly quite and keep to myself. If we get along well I'm happy to hang out sometimes, but that's not a requirement. With regards to the kind of property I am aiming for, I tend to prefer apartments over houses. A reasonably modern kitchen and is also a big plus. That one firm requirement that I have is that it is warm and for dry during the winter (admittedly a little difficult to tell during the middle of summer). Feel free to send me a message if you would like to team up or have a suitable room.
Hi my names Kelly, I am looking for people over 30's to move in with. I am easy going 29 year old female, I love to have a laugh and do not take life to seriously. I work in disability full time and love my job. I am tidy and "try" and live a healthy lifestyle, well I am trying!! Haha. If you feel like I could be a good house mate give me a msg. I am just ready to meet some nice people and live in an good environment, has to have my own bathroom to.
A little bit of myself. Am originally from Mauritius and been living here in Melbourne for almost 10 years now. I work full time as a Conference and Events supervisor in a hotel. I like relaxing time on my day off and would like someone who can enjoy a very friendly atmosphere in the house. Am always up for few drinks and dining out if time permitted. I like cooking which is my passion and would like having someone enjoying my food.
Dear property owner, My name is Enrique and I am a doctor that works in the Alfred Hospital. My mum is coming to visit me from Spain and I am looking for a place for both of us from the 9th december until 22nd January when I am moving to Sydney as I have a job starting there. I am interested in an apartment a close to the Alfred Hospital or which doesn't have a long commute to the ALfred Hospital Thanks Enrique
I work part-time and am also a part-time student at Monash. I enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I play a bit of social netball and am currently enjoying F45 as well. I’m not a crazy neat freak, but I do like to keep the house neat and tidy. I'm not a party-animal either, but I do love socialising at bars, and I'm a big fan of brunch, because breakfast food is the best food...
I like and I am so clean! I love to be around good people, because like a good latin (i'm from Chile), I'm a warm person. I studied Event Management so you will have a lot of good ideas of something fun to do (on weekends mainly) I'm a non smoker, animal lover and in general a open minded person :) Looking for a furnished and private room.
Bartender! Studying makeup. I have a king charles cavalier puppy who is 7 months old. Looking for someone else who might have a dog so he can have a friend. He is super cute and you will probably want me to move in purely based on this dog. Interested in starting a team up. Ideally somewhere in St. Kilda would be perfect. Wouldn't mind a two or three bedroom house with a backyard for puppies to run free. Anything with floorboards gets extra points. Mostly out nights at work. Do enjoy a chat or two but also love a good cry alone in my room session. Hobbies include makeup, ubereats, music, my dog and buying stupid things i dont need or paying for gym memberships i dont use. Originally from Adelaide. Been here for a year now.
I'm a 30 year old female originally from Queensland. I moved down to Melbourne 2.5 years ago after a stint travelling overseas and have been living in the Caulfield North area. I work full-time as a Music Therapist in healthcare. I like to be social and have a few wines but also like to do my own thing. I'm pretty easy going and won't leave a mess! Have been getting into jogging of late (quite a feat for me!) and love seeing live music. Leaving my current place as my housemate has taken the plunge to buy. Preferably looking to move into a place longer term 6 months - 1 year but flexible. Ideal move date would the 17th/18th Dec but able to move earlier if need be. Currently living with a little Staffy so all good with dogs too!
hey i am johnnie, im 31 years old working full time in the credit area of ANZ LEGAL and I'm a fully qualified remedial masseur. i am a very easy going person, very clean and reliable. I am pretty active, like going to the gym, movies, going out for a dance on the weekend sometimes, and relaxing at home on sunday ready to go work on mondays... i enjoy staying home and watching dvd's as much as going out with friends.. i like my space as but that doesn't mean i like sitting in bedroom 24/7. i like having a nice conversation big or small.. if i am the sort of person you are looking for then please don't hesitate to respond.. LOOKING TO MOVE BY ASAP. but i can take as long as i want, as person i'm living with is a friend of mine.
My girlfriend and I are recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a room in a friendly house share. Both Irish, friendly and outgoing couple. Susan is very creative and works as a graphic designer while I work in Motorsport and currently reintroducing a Formula 5000 race series to Australia which keeps me busy during the week. Weekends we like to get out and about and sometimes head beyond the city. Currently staying with my boss down the coast but both keen to move closer to the city.
I'm happy, friendly and easy going. Very helpful domestically. Will be a full time student, studying a great deal but am also open to try new things and am always up for fun.
My name is Craig, I'm 29, from Liverpool, UK, and I am a procurement professional. Typical working hours are 9-5 from Monday to Friday. I enjoy having an active lifestyle and have various hobbies, such as cycling, cooking, camping etc. I wouldn't say I'm constantly at it by any means, I can have very lazy weeks as well, but I do try to get outdoors when I can. As a person I'm very respectful, laid back and socialable. I can be quite quiet at times but don't let that fool you, I'm always up for doing new and/or fun things. I'm just a bit of an introvert (unless I've had a skinful). On the downside I'm really not a morning person, but I'm sure that won't bother anyone during the week. In the home I'm pretty tidy, I don't mind the place looking lived in but I can't look at mess for too long. My current housemates love me loads. They would probably tell you I'm quirky, fun and friendly. It would be good to live with some easy going, fun, rational and accommodating people. That's not too much to ask for is it? :)
Hi guys, I'm an easy going, professional and mature person. Love cooking and wine while being neat and tidy and respecting other people's personal space. I currently run my own business and love riding my motorbike out to the beach when it's hot. Big fan of health & fitness and paddle boarding.

I am a female entrepreneur currently taking a sabbatical from work to focus on health and wellness. Ideally looking for a vegan or vegetarian household to live in. I am non-smoking, non-drinking but always smiling :) Prefer friendly, social, communicative and relaxed households with shared duties for keeping the home clean. I love people but also need company that knows when to give some space. The area where I am looking in is flexible as long as it's within a comfortable travel distance to Melbourne CBD, I love the leafy relaxed feel Surrey Hills (especially anything around nature). Thank you for considering having me in your home!
Hey! I'm from England and I've lived in Melbourne for a year, looking to live here for at least another year. I'm looking for accommodation for at least 12 months. I'm a Carpenter with full time work in St Kilda. I work 7am to 4pm, working alot of Saturdays too! In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit and watching TV/Movies. Even though I look slim in my pictures I love food too! I'm currently living with my brother and his wife in Hallam but as I work in St Kilda and he has a new born baby I think it's best I find more suitable accommodation. Hence why I'm here I'm very easy going and clean. I have a car but I don't own much stuff. I would love to find a houseshare filled with other professionals. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey future flatties! I am currently doing my Masters of Psychotherapy, and working part time in retail. In my down time I love to chill, go out for a few drinks, or venture out for a bushwalk! I'm great to live with because I don't spend my whole time in my room, instead love to have a bite to eat or a chat with my flatmates. But I also love my down time, and zoning out in front of netflix.

I am an easy going and friendly person who loves to socialise and meet new people. In my spare time, I love to explore and walk through new places, swim, spend time with friends and check out live music gigs :) Over the last few years I have spent quite a bit of time travelling, so I understand how to live with people. I hope to hear from you soon! Nicole
I'm a girl from Finland looking for accommodation in Melbourne. I'm tidy and respectful towards other people and I have lived with very different kind of people in the past so I get along with anyone. I like to socialize and go to swim on my freetime.
Hello there! Born in Melbourne, eastern european background. I love a laugh, a genuine chat and appreciate a healthy lifestyle. I love listening to music, feel good vibes and going to the beach (walking Mala, sunshine & outdoors) balance is key! Social, caring, down to earth personality and enjoy exploring new places and learning. I'm passionate about living with purpose and intention with interests in heath, wellbeing, fitness (love my daily work outs), quality nutrition, self development, cultures, travel, sustainability, humanities, entrepreneurship and curiosity for all things creative such as styling, design (studied Graphic Design), art, photography, film, artistic culture and music (basically anything that makes me feel good, inspired, positive & happy!) I also enjoy a red wine and a selective night out now and then, summer time being my favourite season to be out and about. I'm not a party animal (past tense) but I do like to socialise and party on occasion and in moderation to see my favourite djs visit Australia - love seeing selective live music and festivals. I also enjoy cooking, going out for dinner, healthy brunches, dancing, hanging out with friends, going to galleries and other fun stuff. I work in the Arts part time and I work a second job part time which means I am pretty busy, which is fabulous if you love your own space. Stable income, good work ethic and pride in my morals, values (kindness and integrity are favourable), genuine, loyal and honest. I am ambitious, reliable and responsible, compassionate, spontaneous and adventurous, warm natured and open minded. Looking for a clean, peaceful environment to share with respect for other peoples space. I appreciate a clean bathroom and kitchen. I am well organised, VERY tidy, super clean and enjoy's unwinding "me" chill time (introvert & extrovert qualities) and would love a respectful safe place to retreat and feel relaxed in. I have an 8 year old small dog named Mala, she is very sweet, affectionate, smart, house trained and super loving! (I promise she will melt your heart). She will most likely be staying a few nights in between her current home and new home depending on the some weeks, subject to change. Seeking a beautiful place to call home with cool people, with similar attributes. I value driven people who think outside the box, anything more than that is a blessing and bonus. Please get in touch :)
Hello! I am very eager to find a new home. Currently residing in Elwood. I am a 26 yr old psychology student. Considerate, hardworking, social person. Love sharing a vino and a dinner. I have a 2 yr old, dalmatian who is happy, well trained and loving. I have a stable job and income. I am reliable and very tidy. Would love to hear from you. :)
Hey all, I'm to start a new house share from Thornbury to Brunswick, Elwood to Caulfield and in any inner North, East or Southern Suburbs. My budget is $185/week, ready to move now. I'm 31, originally from QLD and have been living in Melbourne for about 3.5 years. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my psych degree. When I finish I'm aiming to get a job in a humanistic position. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). I'd like to say I sleep in but my body clock often doesn't allow it. It only lets me feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work. Most of my social outings revolve around visiting friends or heading out to gigs, or maybe a sneaky festival once or twice a year. I enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, much prefer openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Do have some furniture to bring, kitchen stuff, no whitegoods though. Feel free to fire any questions my way 🙂 I'm ready to move asap!
