I'm looking at moving to Newcastle from Brisbane in Jan. Will be working in a salon so happy to give free haircuts to my housemates. I'm super social and always down for a drink or a chill night at home. I love music so there's always music playing or i'm out at gigs. Clean and tidy and a great cook. Looking to make friends not just have housemates.
I'm looking for a place to set up camp for the summer months with my beautiful partner Alexis. We met sailing in the Whitsundays and are super easy going, respectful people. Lex loves yoga nearly as much as i love to surf. We've spent the majority of this year farming in Hawaii and now are about to start the process of applying for a Australian partnership visa. I'm excited to show Lexi what a Newcastle summer is like as I've grown up here. Lexi will be arriving in Aus from USA in a week or so, in this time i hope to find a nice spot as close to the sea as possible with some rad house mates. Can't wait to meet future roomies! Jack (23) Lexi (27) :)
The ting goes skrrraaaaaaa! I am a 23 year old student, studying accounting at The University of Newcastle. I am a very friendly and caring person who is very open minded and always up to to try new stuff. Similarly, I am pretty tidy and in many cases organised although I like going with the flow as well. I like cooking and spending time with good people as well as just relaxing in a park, enjoying the summer while reading a book and listening to music. As much as I love time to myself and respect that others will too, I'll never be one to turn down a movie night, another hit of caffeine or just a chat about the day. I like to go out occasionally but dinner at home and/or drinks out the back with friends will always take the cake. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring, active and honest about themselves as I intend on being. Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I would love to hear from you. Moreover, I am easy going, laid back and love to be part of the house rather than just live. Plus, I work at Domino's so you can get pizzas from me! Looking to move in at the end of the month so feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I would love to hear from you.
Im 23, I work in Aged care and on my days off I love to be out hiking, at the beach or catching up with friends or family. I'm looking for a chilled place to live with housemates that I would get along well enough with to have the occasional dinner but also respectful of each others space and downtime. I am tidy and repectful of other peoples space. I would be looking to move after Christmas preferably.
Hey I’m Dean (24), working full-time for the Newcastle Knights. Looking for a place in inner Newcastle area that I could bring my 8 week old kelpie x English staffy puppy to live with me. Love my sports/fitness but I’m don’t mind a cheeky burger and beverage although I’m not a big party goer.
Im currently studying environmental science at uon. I’m a very easy going person, but tidy and will always help out around the place. I love surfing, or just getting out and about and am pretty active. I’m pretty social kind of person, and don’t mind a beer or two, but also love to recharge alone and chill out when necessary. I’m keen to make new friends, as I’ve only been here for a few months. I also come with a 3 year old border collie, that is extremely adorable but very relaxed and quiet!
I am a young male, who has left left home in Nowra to to start a new life in Newcastle. I am looking to stay for a while(probably 2 years+). i enough cooking( i am happy to cook for people, as long as they are happy to eat).
From the Central Coast , looking to move to Newcastle end of July as Im studying midwifery and working part time in Newcastle. I'm easy going, respectful and clean and don't mind an occasional wine or two.
Tidy and easy going guy who enjoys keeping active and having fun. Just graduated civil engineering an scored a gig down in Newcastle for 2018 so hoping to find a place to move into end of this year/early next year. I've put down interested for 6 month stay but really I'm open to stay as long as I can if it works out. I'm hoping to get a place as near to the port and the beach as I can, sort of like north of the hill/cooks hill and newcastle west. Swing me a message if you're keen either to move into your place or get a team-up.
I'm a young at heart, relaxed and bubbly single 37 year old who loves the ocean, yoga, music, festivals, fashion, travel people and animals. I work for myself as a lash Tecnician and also have a couple of projects on the go. I am clean and like to keep my space neat and tidy. I lead quite an active social life but I'm not looking for a party house - but I DO love the odd banter and want to live with a fun, chilled happy crew who I can have a laugh and a drink with too 😊, but who can also respect boundaries. I currently live in Mayfield however my room mate is moving back home and I miss being closer to the beach, so I am looking for a new place to lay my head. I have previously owned my own rental property and have been renting myself for more than 16 years. I'm an honest, considerate, kind and caring person who is easy to get along with, is involved in the wine industry 😉 and can cook! Happy to meet for a beer/wine or coffee and have a chat - I will need to give 2 weeks notice but will be available to move anytime before Dec 20 or after Jan 12th - drop me a line! Cheers! 😆
Heaps easy going chick that is keen to move somewhere close to the beach and close to the newcastle uni. I work in town part time as well so it will be more convenient being central to that! Spend my free time at the beach/socialising and don't mind a couple of drinks on the weekend and a cheese platter never hurt nobody
I'm super friendly, super keen and super cleanly, I'm always up for a chat but I have to say, I'm pretty good at reading social cues; so if you like your space, I'm cool with that too. I will most likely be at uni, the beach or gym most days, but I'm keen to find a bunch of people that are open to a good pre-game sesh Friday/Saturday/the odd Sunday and like to go out in Newcastle and have a good time. I think as long as you can handle banter, we'll get on alright :))))
Hi! I'm Courtney, recently turned 20 and am looking for somewhere spend my summer. I'm a biomedical science student at Newcastle, currently live in Belmont with my family, I work at a restaurant on Newcastle foreshore which is where I'll be spending most of my summer break. I'd ideally like somewhere within walking or bike riding distance to work to save money on parking if possible. On my days off you'll find me at the beach, occasionally having a glass of wine or sleeping and netflixing. I'm easy going and relaxed, slight neat freak so no need to worry about me leaving any mess around. Hoping you won't mind my Boyfriend Brad dropping in on occasion, we sort of do the distance thing as he is from Gosford. Its fine with me if you have pets, I'm a huge dog lover. I'd really appreciate some new friends if you're after that sort of thing, I need to expand my circle. I enjoy cooking if family dinners are your type of thing but my work hours are a little strange and that won't always be possible. Not exactly sure of my length of stay, could just be summer, could also be during the uni semester don't really know yet, probably until mid-late March ish, it depends on a few things. Thanks :)
Hi guys, I’m Hannah 😊 I’m a 23 year old female working full time at a nature reserve, looking for a home!! I’m a very social person so would love a place where I can feel like part of a family, but I also appreciate that everyone needs there down time. I love the beach, yoga (pretty much anything outdoors), and I love to have a drink and dance every now and then. I have a pet python who lives in a tank in my room, he’s a very friendly boy but you wouldn’t even notice he’s there. My lease expires on the 24th February 2018 so I would love to find a place to move into before then. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message!
We're both vets relocating to Newcastle, looking to live in Merewether by the beach! I surf, cook, clean, enjoy exploring the outdoors and travelling. Alex loves hitting the gym, going for walks, brunch, coffee, and hockey. We're laid back, enjoy living with good company, some good bant and bevvies but also respect personal space. We've both lived in sharehouses for the past 4 years so we know the ins and outs of sharing!
I'm an easy-going, respectful, tidy and friendly person looking for a homey and welcoming place. I come from Sweden, where I study an engineering master. During my stay in Australia, I'll be working part time in Port Stephens. I love being adventurous and outdoors (looking forward to the beach), cooking and chilling with friends. Since I barely know anyone in the area, I would love to make some new friends who can become my Aussie family! :) I look forward to meeting you!
I am currently an exchange student from england studying architecture at uon, my course is demanding so i will have a lot of work but if you want a flat mate with some good banter who enjoys a couple of bevs message me up - I am also really tidy if that helps..
Hi future flat mates! My name is Liam, I am a hard working 21 year old guy who loves to chat, have a laugh and just relax. I'm clean, well kept and always open to having a conversation.. I like to keep my possessions in tip top shape and am a bit of a clean freak for those sick of dirty housemates! I am working full-time in Hamilton as a sales executive and would like to move nearby, I'm not local to Newcastle so I would love to meet some Novascastrians to show me the rounds :) I love cars, catching up for a cold one and going out and about. I require a garage to park my car, willing to pay extra for this.
I am a PhD student in Structural Engineering, happy to meet new people, sociable, tidy and keen for social drinking if all the other tenants are ok and happy with. I'm not a difficult guy to get along with. I am a completely flexible guy and easygoing. So, feel free to message me :)
I'm chill but like to enjoy a sneaky bevy or two every now and then. Uni student working over the holidays. I prefer to spend most of my free time outdoors. I'm tidy and respectful of personal space, but also looking to make some new friendships! I love being social but I value my alone time as well. Just searching for a place for summer and the next semester of uni.
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking to move between mid December to mid January (when the lease is up here). Thanks to a greedy tax man.. (somehow ended up OWING money this year 🤔) ..I'm not in a position to provide much bond/rent in advance at this stage.. 0-2 weeks bond is all I can commit to for now. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. A balcony or sunroom would be awesome to use as an art station. A private-ish shed space or similar would also be handy (so I can get art-messy) but both are not essential. not a big party person, being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
