Hi, my name is Helen. I work as a nurse in a private practice in town. I moved here from Sydney 12mths ago and have had the great fortune of living in Battery Point for this time. I'm not able to move until end of June, this is when the lease is up. When I'm able to move, living somewhere still centrally located would be great.. I work Monday-Friday, so there wouldn't be an issue with me doing shift work and sleeping patterns conflicting with others. I am very tidy and keep shared spaces clean. I am considerate of others and, I feel, very easy to live with. I'm happy to be sociable with fellow housemates, but can also give others their space where needed. I'm not looking for a party house and I certainly wouldn't treat it as such. I have a bed and couch, but can store these if not needed. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
My name is Karina Anders, I’m 23 and about to start a Masters at Utas in Marine and Antarctic Science, I’m looking for a room from July onwards. My interests include hiking, scuba diving, caving, reading, painting and eating. I am also a keen composter! I’ve lived in share houses before and enjoy the dynamic and social side of it, I’m a tidy person too. I love animals and think I would fit in quite well.
Hey everyone, I’m Anita looking for a place to call home for the next 6 months. Currently working on launching a sustainable clothing label ideally I’d be looking for accommodation where I could also work from home 3/4 day a week. I also have a second job down on the peninsula and stay down there while I work, 3 days a week. I love pretty much any form of creativity including art, music, culture, gardening, cooking and the occasional glass of wine. I believe home should be a sanctuary, and prefer to live in a quiet, clean and plant filled space! I love animals, I’m vegan, a non-smoker and would love to share a home with someone who holds similar values :)
Hi there, I'm looking for a place near UTAS or sandy bay because i'll be studying ICT (second semester, in UTAS) . I'm from Pakistan actually and i'll reach there on 4th or 5th of July. I'm really friendly, caring, love pets (cats mostly), lover of a quiet time and outdoors, also a caring person, an artist and i respect privacy. Not a drinker and a clean person. would love to make new friends and chat with them. feel free to contact me.
We are a professional couple in our late 20's who have just moved to Hobart, and are hoping to find a home in an existing sharehouse, or team up with other like minded adults to start a sharehouse. We have been living together in a 9 person sharehouse in San Francisco, and have many years experience with community living and like to be social and share meals with our housemates. We also like keeping a very clean, organised and well-run home. Veronica is an Australian returning home after 10 years living and studying in the US to start an research position at CSIRO studying the Southern Ocean. Outside of work Veronica likes cooking and baking, sewing, yoga, and growing veggies. Daniel is a software engineer from the US who has worked at various space startups and will be doing software consulting and writing open source software in Hobart. He likes hobby electronics, open source software, and gaming. We both like to run, hike, backpack, and travel and are really excited to explore the Tassie bush on weekends. We are flexible about when we are available to move in so send us a message if you are interested in teaming up or have a room available.
Love live music scenes, film, good food, eating out, the bush, swimming, nature and good conversations. I am easy going, and as I am relocating from Sydney am looking forward to meeting new people and exploring Tasmania and all it has to offer. Will be working fulltime in IT management looking after all Tasmanian state government departments so am anticipating that I'm going to be pretty busy with work.
Hi, we are Chisato and Hiro from Japan and England. I work in disability support and Chisato works in massage therapy. We're considerate of other people's space, and also like to have a chat when it suits others. We're clean and tidy and prompt with payments(:

Hi my name is Tarun, I'm 23 and am looking to move from Melbourne to Hobart for full time work as a Physiotherapist. I'm clean, tidy and easy-going. I'm always keen for a bit of a chat but will respect everyones personal space. I enjoy staying active, watching sport, going to the movies and hanging out with mates.
My name is Natalia, I am an oceanographer and I am headed to Hobart in September to accept a PhD offer in Antarctic Sciences. I love cooking, eating and drinking. It is fair to say I spend a lot of energy and time in the kitchen. On the other hand I love sports in general, being a very active person. I am very tidy and noiseless (loud music is not my thing), but I enjoy chatting to the point people say I can be (too) talkative. I am used to be a flatmate, thus I already know I rather live with people that will spend some time with me once and a while (share a meal, a glass of wine etc). I expect to, eventually, bring my cat to stay with me. She is very sweet, does not meow much neither is really a fan of humans - she is not the type of cat that rubs your feet/legs etc, which can be good for some people but also frustrating for those who love to paddle fluffy cats <3
I'm a 23 year old student studying via distance at the moment but moving to Hobart in May. I'm studying French and German so if you speak it, please get in touch! I'm a very easy-going, clean and considerate non smoker and light drinker. I enjoy my own space but also like hanging out and meeting new people.
Hello, I'm 26, Scottish and looking for a new place to live. I'm pretty outgoing, like to keep things tidy, respectful of others space and love to have a laugh. I'm here on a working holiday visa and will probably be thinking of moving back to Scotland around mid January. I currently work full time Monday to Friday so I'm pretty chilled throughout the week, do the usual seeing friends on the weekend. Ideally looking for something around $150ish per week and close to town. I like music, cooking. roller derby, seeing friends, exploring Tas and meeting new people. I'm available to move in towards the end of April, but possibly before. If you're reading this and looking for somewhere too - I'm happy to start a new house share! Thanks for Reading :)
I'm Thalía, I'm 30 years old and I'm Mexican. I'll be doing my postgraduate studies at the UTAS, so I'll be at the Uni all day. However, I do like to explore around and travel. I'm a respectful and tidy person who loves movies and chilling at home. I'm a coffeeholic and I avoid eating meat, although I don't consider myself a veggie.
Like to stay busy, respectful, quiet, easy going and tidy. I have no pets and work Casually but have good/stable hours. Will always pay on time, no exceptions. Spend some time alone but always up for a chat, movie or the odd couple drinks. :)
Hi! I'm a 33 year old practice manager. I'm very tidy, clean, easygoing and respectful. I love a glass of wine and a chat so love to be social, but also love my own quiet time so would be happiest in a share house that isn't a party house. I'm from Newcastle originally and moved to Hobart 18 months ago and am absoultely loving all that Tassie has to offer. I love to hike of a weekend, and in the warmer months love heading to the beach.
My likes: - live music - cycling - reading - aussie rules (go pies!) - cricket (tests) - politics (talking/debating) - independent movies - gym - fruit and vegetables - red wine and xxxx - doing volunteer work with chartities looking after the homeless. i am generally neat and tidy, but not OCD neat and tidy. I enjoy chatting to people, but also some quiet time. Saturday mornings are generally spent at the market and then reading the paper - an actual newspaper not online.
Hi! My name is Dipon and I am moving to Hobart to pursue my PhD studies in Microbiology from the University of Tasmania. As a person I am lively, friendly, likes company but respect privacy. My favorite past time activities are watching and playing football, outdoor activities, reading books and having a nice conversation.
I’m a climber currently living in a short-term rental in Hobart and seeking long-term lease (1-2 years) in Hobart. I’m ready to move at any time from now to 2019. This ad is always valid unless I've found an ideal place. No preferred gender. About me: Honest, mature, tidy, open-minded, easy-going and considerate. Love outdoor sports, nature and animals. Will begin my first semester in UTAS on Feb. Originally from Shanghai. Good at sports massage. Will be great if we could rent through agency or the owner. About the property: not too far from uni and city. Would be great to have 0-2 housemates. Big room and nice backyard would be better. Price range: 150-250 depends on how it is. If you know any information please text me. Thank you very much!
I'm a happy & social person but also enjoy quiet times. Loves eating out and working out. Interested in health & fittness, enjoys reading, cooking clean food. I'm from Melbourne have rented my house there & are looking at a change of pace in Hobart. I'm an Image Consultant.
I'm a super hard worker, so I'll not be around lots but I do have a great movie collection for the weekend. Like good craft beer and whiskey, live music and sleeping in. I'm an easy housemate, look after myself and all the rest.
I'm Zane, 18 years old, laid back looking for a group of relaxed housemates. I do not have a full time job but won't be spending much time at home. I have study commencing next semester full time. I'm a smoker but very respectful, I hate smoking inside and liter so you are assured all areas will be free of cigarette waste. I'm a bit of a handy man so any problems around the house I can try and fix. I'm technology driven so if you cant set up your printer I'm your guy. and those lawns you haven't been bothered mowing? Don't stress! I have sharp scissors.
Due to my current rental ending I am in search of another. I'm a pretty laid back person, a majority of my spare time is either spent studying or gaming. I am usually out most weekends and am a full time student. I enjoy baking when I can and am not messy at all. I would prefer something within walking distance to North Hobart, if that was the case my rent pw could be $160-170. If not then my rent pw would need to be $150. I enjoy my own space and would prefer people who do as well.
We are looking for a place to stay for my partners last few months in Australia,I lived in Sydney but now am going to join him on his travels. His visa expires the 1st of September, so we can only stay for 4 months. After that, we're going to the Netherlands. We are very easy going and open-minded. And as we just left Sydney together, we’re now looking for a job in Brisbane as well.
