Human Nutritionist studying Agricultural Science. I love camping and exploring this beautiful state we live in. I like living in a clean and spacious environment with happy and outgoing people.
I’m originally from Western Australia. I moved to Hobart in February 2019 for a new job after coming here for a holiday in September and loving it. I have been lucky enough to land in a fabulous share house in Blackmans Bay. We each do our own thing, but on occasion we might share a meal. Often there is just two of us and if I have something extra, the other may pitch in and we create a meal together. We occasionally share in a bottle of wine together if someone has one opened. Sadly, the owner is selling her home and moving back to Canada in the later half of 2019. I had committed myself to stay for 6-12 months. The owner will be putting her house on the market in about August & the furniture is likely to be packed for transfer around September. Now that I'm here and a bit more familiar with Hobart, I am looking around North Hobart, South Hobart Lenah Valley, New Town, Battery Point or Taroona simply because it seems to be closer to the things I have engaged myself with since moving here. Also, living closer to town will allow me to either walk or ride to work, which currently I cannot. For me I am looking for a place that I can stay for a minimum of 12 months. My contract is for another 2 years. I really don’t want to have to invest in household furnishings etc when its unlikely I will be here long term and I'd prefer not to have the stress of moving. It would just be nice to find somewhere that is a good fit so I can enjoy my time here in Tasmania.
For 8 hrs a day and 5 days a week, I advice business owners on their insurance needs. The rest of the time, I am binge watching Netflix, anything and everything related to space and Formula One on YouTube. For fun, I have a pretty cool telescope and try to take make the best of it on clear nights. I have been trying to cook healthy, lean and clean but I also succumb to Menulog and Uber Eats sometimes too often. I am originally from India (Sorry to disappoint any curry lovers but I can't cook a good curry) and have lived in Melbourne for the past 2.5 years. Previous to Melbourne , I lived in New Zealand for 4 years.
I am a very professional and friendly person and I want to stay in clean, neat and quiet place. I am easy to live with and very organised. I am nurse from the Philippines, will be working at the Royal Hobart Hospital so it’s also better if the place is near CBD.
My name is Felippe Martins I’m 30yo, brazilian male. I’ve just moved to Tasmania and I’m looking for a place to stay quiet and relax. A little about me: I love work so as soon as find a job for me I’ll stay less time inside the house. I’m in my big self-development now, so When I stay at home I like drink coffee and read books and do some meditation as well. I like to do my exercises somewhere outside and also in the gym. I like to learn something new everyday. I like to walk around and find out new places and know about them. Sometimes I’m a bit shy another times I talk too much. I share a house with an Australian couple since I arrived in Australia, so I guess that I know how to share a house. I like the things clean and tidy, I’m super organised with my stuff and I hope the others can be as well. I just want a space to rest and have some chat with good people. So guys, please just tell me if you need some more information than I can provide to you. Cheers
A full-time student currently based in Sydney since high school, arriving in Hobart at the end of June for the new adventure. Easy-going and tidy, prefer long-term contact. Hey, I'm a 27 year old man, I'm down to earth, clean and polite. I am currently looking for work or considering going back to TAFE to continue education in the IT or Auto electrics field. I'm easy to get along with, non confrontational and very personable. I hold a certificate II in automotive mechanical, I'm a very hands on kind of man and seem to fit in everywhere I go. I believe I am a reasonable cook and I believe in everyone pulling their weight when it comes to chores
Hi my names Mat I’m an electrician from country Vic working at the Hobart hospital redevelopment. When I’m not working I enjoy sports, weekends away, camping and hiking, catching up with friends. I’m great to live with because I’m quiet around the house in the mornings, respectful of housemates things and space, keep common areas clean, pay bills on time, always up for a chat, beer/wine or a Netflix binge and have a positive outlook. Non smoker, love pets and don’t mind doing the lawns/gardening.
I recently graduated as a registered midwife and have secured a graduate midwifery position/ job at the Royal Hobart Hospital starting early August 2019. I am looking for somewhere to rent for my move at the end of July. I am hardworking, friendly, sociable and easy to get along with. I am moving by myself from Queensland and look forward to hopefully finding a nice living environment to start my new career and life move :)
