Hi there, I'm Luise, a 25 year-old final year med student from Vienna, Austria. I'm coming to Hobart for a medical elective at the ICU of Royal Hobart Hospital. So now I'm looking for a place to stay fort 2 months from November 23 to January 17 next year. Help! I'm easy going and like to travel a lot. Always up for an adventure, hiking mountains or out on a sailboat, but I also love cosy movie nights and in Austria we love to cook together and drink fancy wine. After living in a shared flat for nearly 6 years now (with my boyfriend, 2 friends, my sister and 2 rescue cats), I would say I've got the hang of it. Unfortunately, I won't be able to meet you in person before I actually arrive, but I'm happy to skype or call to see if we would get along :)
I’m female, in my 40’s working full time Social Worker with an NGO. I love hiking and painting in my free time and also cooking Asian food... I used to be a chef :)...I’m pretty relaxed person, and like company of others and also like my own space too :) I was living in Hobart till mid last year and been in Cairns and moving back to Hobart at end of September.
Hi! I'm a Canadian student coming to Tasmania to do a PhD program at the Institute of Marine & Antarctic Studies. I love to play sports, partake in athletic activities, hike, swim, and also stay in to watch movies. I'm pretty outgoing and I like to think that I get along with most people :) In terms of living situations, I am a clean person and happy to help do chores around the house. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a space with and can't wait to meet new friends.
HI All, I just started a graduate course in Battery Point., I'm moving from Sydney. I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm friendly, easy-going, love nature, dogs, love cooking new cuisine, house-sit as a holiday, love shopping, love home styling, bargain hunter and love people. Not too chatty, enjoy my alone time but enjoy cooking meals together.
Friendly, reliable and tidy. Locals who are looking to fly the coop! Both of us are employed and (are pretty nifty with money! :)) ) Will be Utas students come 2020. Happy to catch up over coffee to see if it’s a fit!
Hey There! I’m a 20 year old looking for long term stay (the longer the better) and enjoy being social, whilst being respectful and staying out of the way when needed. I’ll even clean up any mess, whether it’s mine or not. Did I mention I grew up in Tasmania? I’ve travelled around the world, having recently spent 2 years in the U.K. and returned back to Tasmania, so you can bet I have some stories to tell! I love playing games (mainly of the video variety, Nintendo for the win), and even create YouTube videos occasionally. Though nothing quite beats exploring South Tas and a range of recreational activities. Hopefully this sounds great to you! - AJ
My name is Beth and I'm in my mid 30s. I'm moving to Hobart this October so I'm currently looking for a place preferably a 2 bedroom one and hoping to share with another like-minded female. I'm from Melbourne and I love staying active by running, climbing, yoga and gym. I'm a nurse by profession so I work long hours and do shift work. I will also be spending my weekends away on hikes. I have houseshared before so I know the drill with paying bills on time, sharing chores and being respectful of each other's privacy. I am not a party person but happy to go on occassional movie nights, drinks or weekend brunch. If you think that we'd get along, shoot me a message. 😊
We have been live in Brisbane for almost one and a half years. My two years of Master's study at UTAS is going to start in OCT. At the same time, my partner just finished her Master's from UQ and started looking for a job opportunity. We are both friendly, also like to cook, go out for brunch, play board games and we are both tidy and reliable housemates.
I am very positive and kind hearted person. I am from Mumbai, India. I like to talk to new people and share. I am student moving to TAS for studies in NIET college based in Battery Point. And my friend is kind of same we are childhood friends and like to stay together in shared room.
I'm a friendly, easy-going student who loves to make new friends and hang out. I am currently studying my Bachelor of Business (majoring in Marketing and Tourism) at the University of Tasmania. I enjoy yoga, hiking, travelling, cooking, running and going to gigs. I love to keep my space tidy, and always clean up after myself. I am looking for a share house that is close (if possible) to the university, with a friendly atmosphere and interesting housemates. My budget is max $150 a week, but would prefer less if possible. I am flexible with length of lease, looking for 6 months or more to begin with.
