My name is Shannan. I’m 19 in mid-June and have been living out of home for almost a year. I’m currently living with a friend's family but I’m looking for a little more independence. My family lives in the Dandenong Ranges so I moved down to Warrandyte as it is very difficult to secure full-time employment up there. I keep in touch with the family regularly and miss my little 2.5 yo old brother loads! Sometimes I go up and spend the night there depending on my rostered shifts. I have a part-time job as a barista with a large chain of well-known cafes and intend to get a second job when I settle in somewhere. I generally find it very easy to find work in the hospitality industry and should have a second job within a couple of weeks of moving in. In the mean time, I have some savings and am happy to pay a months rent in advance for my new housemates peace of mind (in addition to a bond) ;-) I’m very friendly, outgoing, sociable and love meeting new people. I’m up always up for a good laugh/joke around and have a cheeky sense of humour. I try to be thoughtful of others and respect people’s belongings and space. I'm clean and tidy and more than happy to help out around the home. I care a lot about my friends and would give someone my last dollar if they needed it. I also love a good movie/tv series marathon, gatherings with friends, shopping, and going out for coffee, a drink, to see a band or nightclubbing. That said, I am not a huge party animal and won't be coming in and out of the house at all hours swaying and telling you I love you or anything ;-) Although I currently don’t own any pets, I love animals of all sorts and used to own/live with some lizards and dogs when I was at my mum’s place. Then there are are all the wild animals that live on the property - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, king parrots, lorikeets, deer, wombats and wallabies :-) I don’t yet own a car - I’m still working toward achieving my 120 hours (almost there) so I’ll be missioning it everywhere on PT for the time being.
Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. Personal hobbies include gym training, outdoors activities (camping, hiking, four-wheel driving, skiing, etc), cooking, all things food, craft beer and coffee! Very down to earth individual who is bordering OCD with cleanliness and takes pride in maintaining my environment. Not much of a party animal these days, although a big fan of the odd dinner party with friends :)
I am a Full-time Student from Vietnam, I am coming back to Melbourne for my second degree, Bachelor of Creative Art at Deakin University. I would say I am a friendly and outgoing person, I like to cook and bake. Hmm.... I also love coffee.
Hi guys! My name is Vivek Vyas. I'm from India. I moved to Melbourne two months ago. I did my high school and bachelors in Perth. I'm currently doing Professional Year in Engineering at Monash College. I'm a social and outgoing person who loves to talk to people. I've lived in Australia for about 7 years now so I've lived with different housemates and I never had any issues with anyone so far. I like to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the house so none of you would face that problem (I know everyone hates that lazy guy). I like to play squash and travel to places around for weekend hikes. I enjoy a drink or two sometimes when I hang out with friends but I'm not a party animal. I'm not a smoker either. If you happen to have a pet, I'm pet friendly. I have a dog back home and I just love him. Just looking for housemates who are easy going, friendly and respect each other's privacy. Thank you!
My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a place to live close to Box Hill Hospital as I've just been offered a job there! I've just returned from living and working in Canada for the past 18 months, working at a ski resort for two seasons and working with Bears in the summer. I start my new job in Pathology on the 29th of May so would be available to move in after then as I'm out of town at the moment and I'll be working Monday to Friday at different times. I love the snow so will hopefully head up to Mt Buller as much as I can on the weekends to snowboard. I currently live in Pearcedale which is just too far of a drive so I'm looking to live closer to the city. I'm very neat and tidy, I enjoy staying fit, cooking and going out for drinks every now and then!
Hi, I am a new backpacker from china. And I am a working holiday visa holder. I am a quiet, quick learning, easy going, peaceful Chinese girl. This is my first time to be a backpacker here. It's great to live in this beautiful city with a part-time job in Box Hill, Melbourne(I have already found a job in Box Hill Central). So, now I would like to find a sharing house in Box Hill, which may be convenient for me to work in Box Hill. If it is possible to find a proper house, I would like to share some chinese culture and chinese food with you! :D Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks. Grace Best Regards
We are a young couple looking for a place to live I will be working full time in live production and my girlfriend Olivia will be a student at box hill tafe doing her nursing cause we are both very nice and easy to get a long with, we are very friendly and we both love to get out and explore the big city. Hello friends, I'm Hannah, 23, inherent geek who loves books and films. I also enjoy a good hike, preferably in the mountains. Moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast for work and lifestyle - I've got a master's in writing, editing, and publishing, but am a kickass waitress. I'm an incredibly clean and reliable person. More than happy to do my share of cooking and cleaning if those things are appreciated and reciprocated. I'm always down for a good chat and hanging out after a long day but relish in my own space as well. I have an indoor cat who causes absolutely no trouble and I prefer to live in a drug/smoke free environment. Happy to chat for anyone interested, Hannah
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
my fiancé (singaporean) and I (filipino) will be studying in deakin university and IHNA (heidelberg heights) respectively. We are looking for a room in between these 2 campuses. We are nice young couple who loves to eat dinner outside and chill
I'm generally pretty quiet and keep to myself, just looking for a place to live and make some new friends whilst studying. I spend most of my free time online talking with friends from all over and slaying Internet Dragons
Im an awesome cook, im good with tools-a miss wannabe fix-it!, im a bit of a bloke in the sense that i like to do the mowing, happy to do garbage, maintenance type jobs..im fairly quiet and keep to myself but it would be nice to share a meal or watch a game once in a while. Im wanting to get back into fitness so a positive gym buddy would be great. My most important thing that governs any decision i make is my dog. He is big, very big purebred rottweiler! Super friendly, great guard dog, he is still a baby..16months..and has to be allowed inside. He is toilet trained..stays on his mat..but just love's being included. I can only live with people who will accept him as a housemate too and will respect and be kind to him. If u have no experience with dogs or are scared of them its not a situation i would consider. He loves to play ..can get a little rough but he's young and still learning..currently teaching him to close doors behind him! So its a package deal. he is all i have left ..i will not get rid of him for anything.
Currently studying at Deakin completing my first trimester in Food Science, I'm hoping to look for a full-time job and defer my studies. I'm a vegetarian, I cook and clean after myself. I keep to myself but I can be fairly sociable on my good days! You'll probably see me for half a week and I'll disappear for the other half, I usually stay at my boyfriend's through out the week and go back over to the west to see my parent's on the weekend. My boyfriend may also stay over some nights. Hoping to find a warm, homely place so please send a message if you think I'll be a good fit in your house!
I am a 24 year old IT international student from Sri Lanka. I am a clean, friendly, easy going person. I love playing games and watching movies and tv shows a lot and i enjoy gardening too. Looking to share a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom house/apartment Feel free to message me and ask me for information if i have left something out.
Hi! My name is Natalie and I'll most likely be looking for a room in a share house with my dog Evie. I'm hoping for a household with a dog already but otherwise a household that loves dogs and is aware I have a rather energetic dog is important! I'm a massive nerd looking for other like minded people - I enjoy DND, board games, cult films, obscene and obscure jokes, steampunk/gothica, my PC, and I am very social and easy going! I'm a very well paid apprentice so I have an extremely stable job and have a decent sized budget to work with.
I am a professional family man originally from the UK and now duel Ozy/Brit. My family lives in Brisbane and I am working down in Melbourne. I am a quiet considerate person. I would be traveling back up to my family every 2-3 weeks. If you fancy a chat in the evenings over a glass of wine/beer that would be great. I enjoy running and cycling and meeting up periodically with friends in town. Looking for a room < 45 mins commute to Southern Cross station hence the diverse list of suburbs.
Hey everyone, My name's Tom, I'm 32 years old and I've been living in a share house with three other housemates for over five years and am looking for a new place in the same or surrounding areas. I'm reliable in keeping up with house cleaning and also paying the rent and bills on time. Being relaxed and easy going at home is my thing. I'm happy to have a chat and a laugh after work, but I also respect if you want to do your own thing. Working full-time in the city keeps me busy during the day and going to the gym keeps me busy every other night. Cooking and talking movies and pop culture are my favourite past times. I'd be a great candidate for trivia nights! I'll bring a vacuum cleaner to share and I have a large fridge that is less than a year old and easily caters for up to four housemates, so I'm happy to bring it along or sell the fridge to my current housemates. I'm looking to live with friendly, easy going and like-minded people.
I relish every moment, organised and clean. I am happy to make friends and explore my limits to different culture and people.I like to have good time with friends in weekends either by travelling or having dinner as group.
