Hi Ron here from Malaysian Chinese guy. I'm tidy and easy going and friendly guy. Looking for whole unit to stay. Sometimes my family will come for visit me together. Thanks
Hey all, 2017 is the big move to Melbourne! Bit about me, I'm a socialable, easy-going, conscious individual, love to keep fit as well as a few casual drinks with mates, play tennis and enjoy most sports. Got my ambitions set on Nutritional Education and the environment so pretty passionate about themes like integrative health, detox & diet protocols – as to reinforce lifestyle strategies and promote health literacy to the wider Australian community. Anyways, I'm new to Melbourne living and would like to live with some flexible and easy-going guys or girls that share similar values - keep the home safe and like family. If you wanna live with a lad who gets right into his juicing then get in touch. More about me: https://www.healthpromotion.org.au/nt-committee I'm a Darwin fella finishing my final two units in my Health Promotion degree and looking to get situated in or around the Melbourne area. I will be available to suss out accommodation from Tuesday 17th to 27th January. Hoping to move-in from February 3rd. Hope to meet with some great minds while I'm here, Cheers! 😊
Hey I'm Rose - 19, quiet, clean, always friendly. I'm starting at Deakin Uni in Feb and am looking to rent with other females near the university. I'll be in Melbourne from Jan 28 so will be available to look at properties from this date onward.
Hi Everyone! I'm an American in Australia on working holiday. I'm looking to get set up in Melbourne for at least 4 months. I'm trying to experience as much of the Melbourne area as I can before having to head home. I consider myself a clean roommate. My portion of the rent will also be paid on time. The only things I'm looking for is good internet and a room I can have to myself. I don't care about sharing a bathroom or anything else. Hit me up if you think we can make something work!
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hey guys, I have been living in darwin for the past couple of years however university has bought me to melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin. Hi I'm Dom Working full time as a warehouse manager and am looking for a new place to stay near the city. At home I generally keep to myself but I do enjoy having a chat/drink/social after work if my housemates are up for it. I enjoy playing pretty much any sport and am working on getting my lanky body into shape. I've been living in share accommodation for the past 10 years so I'm very familiar with respecting my housemates, being clean and just generally contributing to a positive atmosphere. On a day off I'm usually out socialising with friends, playing sport or just watching series/documentaries at home. I also competitively play dodgeball twice a week. Other facts about me : If you have a dog expect me to pat it incessantly, grew up in France, Disney/Pixar are my go to movies. Anything else you'd like to know please do ask! Currently seeking: -Ideally a mid February/early march move in. -Relatively contemporary house/flat to live in with other like minded individuals. -Room sizeable enough to fit queen bed (furnished or unfurnished) -Reasonable parking -Looking for long term stay but anything 3+ months is fine too
Hi, My name is Brooke. I am 26 years old and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. I'm a physiotherapist and will be working full time across 6 days a week. I am looking for a room to rent. I'm very tidy, friendly, quiet and considerate. I'm hoping to move by the first week of February. If you have a room available or know someone who does, please get it touch as I'd love to hear more. I'm flexible with location, but prefer the eastern suburbs/inner city. Kind regards, Brooke
Hi there! My name is Amalie and I am a Danish exchange student. I used to study in Scotland, but now I am going to Melbourne to finish my degree in English Literature! I hope to find a cool flatshare where my flatmates enjoy cooking together, grabbing a beer or get worked up over a board game from time to time :D With that said, I of course respect a closed door and the need for privacy. I've lived in many different flatshares and I am a sociable and tidy flatmate. In my sparetime I like to socialise, work out, watch TV shows, try to gain courage to perform at yet another spoken word event (hipster alert), dream about what dog I will have in the future, listen to music and play guitar and sing ! Hope to hear from you! Kind regards Amalie
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study next year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi Everyone!! I've moved to Melbourne last October and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I have two jobs so will be out most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician), which I successfully did. Working in Canterbury so preferably want to be within walking distance ir at least close to the train. I also work at Etihad Stadium/ Melbourne Park on the weekends. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. I'm available to move in on the 11th of February. Thank you in advance. Aggie
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I'm a master student studying in the University of Melbourne now. I'm passion, positive, love traveling, music, movie etc. During weekdays I prefer a quiet study zone but in weekends i prefer chill with friends, or like to have a movie night with housemates at home. I prefer tidy, clean, cozy home, also like to live with person like to share. I'm ok to live with both female and male, in their 20's.
Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others.
Hi! I'm a student at Melbourne University studying my masters in Cultural Materials Conservation (looking after and fixing art and museum objects). I am going into my final year and am looking for a room in a house where I can do some good study. I work part-time as a craft teacher and as a cleaner (so I'm great at making sure everything is looking nice in that regard). I am reasonably quiet and like to have my own space for working but I also enjoy having a chat and a cup of tea. I really enjoy cooking and would be happy to share meals, though I am vegetarian but chill about meat. I am not big into partying or staying up super late but like to keep it social and have people over. My hobbies include art and crafts, playing video games (mostly rpgs), watching cartoons and anime and spending time with animals. For exercise I do tai chi and go the gym, I also love hiking and spending time outdoors in nature. I don't have any pets but would be really happy to move in somewhere with animals or where pets were a possibility so I can get some regular kitty/puppy/bunny/bird etc. cuddles :3 I don't smoke and would prefer to be somewhere without smoking indoors (outdoors is fine). I'm gay so if you should be chill with that. I am not fussed about house location as long as it has good public transport links (tram or train). Room needs to be of a decent size (fitting a bed and large desk and wardrobe) or for there to be desk space in communal areas so I can work on art and conservation projects. I am looking to move in February-March but there is no hard/fast time so if you have a room coming available a bit later let me know. I would love to hear from you if you think I would be a good fit for your household!
Hi! My name is Janina and I am from Vienna, Austria. I will be studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne. I would consider myself easy going and uncomplicated. I like to cook and I have a passion for baking, so one of the perks of living with me might be coming home to freshly baked cupcakes or cookies. :) I would like to live in a place where everyone gets along well, but also respects the others privacy, kind of a - it is great to hang out together at night but it is also cool if we just stay in our rooms sometimes. I have family in Geelong, so I might stay over there some weekends.
We've been living with different roommates and flatmates for 10 years and understand the dynamics of a good living environment. We've resorted to conflict resolution through open communication for some of the more difficult encounters while others easily flourished into friendship and camaraderie. We are well traveled and have friends in out her countries such as Canada and Taiwan. Give us a go and you won't regret it. We are ideally looking for a place that can accommodate a couple and also have a en suite bathroom. Ideally not on the second floor and require stairs to access room.
I'm an easy going, happy to talk shit, and slightly dopey aerospace engineering student. I am a window cleaner when I'm not at uni, so the windows will (probably) be nicely kept. Preferred price is around $170 per week, maximum $220 including bills/internet. The lower the cost the better though! ;) For the next two years i'll be studying at RMIT Bundoora. So i could be down for a lease which is that long. Just got to find the right home! I'm hoping to make a few new friends, knuckle down to focus on my study, and live in a lighthearted and chilled environment. I play indoor soccer every week, and am always keen to play sports, or throw a Frisbee. Or just be out-doors to have a gander.
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
I have recently moved from perth to Melbourne and am currently working full-time as a roof carpenter. I am a friendly, easy going person who is honest and hardworking. I have a 2yr old Staffy named Buffy.
Hi, I'm James! I'm a 21 year old student studying international relations at Melbourne Uni. I work casually in retail, study full-time and also love volunteering! I had an amazing 6 months on exchange in Paris last year, staying with 3 other roommates in a nice apartment. Now back in Melb, I'm looking for some awesome new people to share a place with. I'm really clean and organised, and respect my roommates. Always up for a laugh or a shared dinner. I'm looking for a place centrally located near the city, or in a major urban centre like Caulfield or Box Hill. I'm only interested in apartments, and preferably recently renovated or built. Young roommates (under-25) only! Thanks! :)

I am easy going and respectable of others privacy but also enjoy a good chat. I'm extremely clean and tidy. I enjoy my own space but also love to socialise around dinner and a few drinks. I'm a 39 year old guy. I spend most of my time working, keeping physically fit and volunteering. I enjoy movies, fine dining, standup comedy and challenges of sorts. I'm not a clean freak but am clean, tidy, have consideration for others, respect their privacy and space. Enjoy the occasional social interaction otherwise, equally enjoy my quiet times - especially after a long day's work.
Hi My name is Cristian an i work full time as security at a shopping centre. I am reliable, clean, professional, 27 yo romanian. I am interested in a master bedroom with OWN ENSUITE around 20 minutes maximum from Doncaster. I own my own furniture so unfurnished rooms are not a problem. On my free spare time, I like to go road trips or ride my motorcycle. Which would be great if i can have a little bit of your garage space to store it securely. References can be provided.
I'm from Melbourne but have been living and travelling overseas for most of the last few years...I returned early in 2016 to undertake post grad studies and am currently halfway through a Master of Environment at the University of Melbourne. I also work part time as a cook :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I love baking yummy treats but I don't like having to eat them all by myself ;-) I'm a student which means that during semester I'm often locked away in my room studying but I also really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
Hey I'm Jacob, 17, almost 18, and a student soon to be studying medicine at Monash university. I'm tidy and low maintenance and looking for a share house of like-minded people. Looking for a place that is fit for someone mostly studying but also friendly environment. I do have a small dog, he's a Japanese Spitz named yukio (look them up on Google images you'll fall in love) he is an inside dog fully toilet trained and completely my responsibility all you'll have to worry about is trying not to love him too much. I look forward to hearing from you and am happy to answer any questions you might have. I'm also interested in potentially starting a sharehouse with some others (co-signing a lease) so please message me if you're interested in that also. Cheers!
I'm 24 years old and from china, now I'm studying at Swinburne university. I'm easygoing, tidy and friendly, non-smoker and quiet. I'm looking for a house which is not so far from Swinburne or close to train station will be ok.
I'm a full time worker- stock standard Monday-Friday 9-5 sorta thing, with a dog! She's a gorgeous kelpie mix, and she's really well trained including toilet training, and loves other dogs, people and co-exists really well with my housemates cats. A bit about me- I've been living in share houses for the last 5 years, so I'd like to think I'm pretty respectful! I keep it low key and quiet through the week, but I would like to live in a house where we can have a chat or cook a meal etc through the week. I'm happy to keep to myself but I think it's better when everyone's comfortable and gets along! My weekends vary, but whatever I do through the day I try to take Koda with me. I'm a pretty clean person, respectful of other peoples space and hopefully easy to live with. I guess that's a basic run down, if you have any other questions just ask me!

I am also clean, respectful and always willing to help out, and wouldn't mind meeting some rad people in the process either. Feel free to ask me any questions.
I am a 29 year old female, laid back, clean, adventurous and like the outdoors. I don't like to party hard but like a drink every now and then. I work full time so would only be around in evenings and on weekends. I have a beautiful friendly cat named Harriet who I would like to take with me. She mainly spends her days outdoors but sleep inside at night. She is super clean, doesn't smell and is completely toilet trained.
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as on disability. I have 2 young desexed, indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.

I can also cook and love to cook for big groups. Caitlyn - In my free time, I tend to keep to myself as I'm a bit of an introvert, but I'm happy to have a chat occasionally. I like to play games, read, watch movies and learn things to cook. I'm not a huge party goer but if you're having people over then I'll come out and say hi. :) Please don't hesitate to ask any questions!
