Hi.. I am Elen, I am an Indonesian Chinese. I am studying master at Swinburne. I am looking for a new house in Hawthorn area. I prefer a single room and share with all females. I am an easy going person and also would like to share meals, chat, hangout with the flatmates. I like jokes and would not mind to have drinks on weekend. I wish to share the house with easy going people and friendly people. I am neat and pay the rent on time. If there is a houseshare/flatshare available with the same criteria, please contact me. Cheers 😊
Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
I currently work full time, I'm easy to get along with and am tidy. I enjoy watching tv shows, staying active, reading, occasionally cooking, and hanging out with mates.
I'm a 25 year-old working in Mordialloc and currently looking for a long-term stay in a share house in the inner north of Melbourne. When I'm not working I'm a keen cyclist and cricketer, podcast listener and pub trivia maniac. I've lived in sharehouses for the last five years across a couple of different countries, so I'm housebroken, reasonably tidy and cool with pets, especially silly cats and lazy dogs. I'm happy to keep to myself most of the time, but if you're living in a more social house then I can dig it.
Hey there! I'm Kristel, 23, looking for a place on the east side. Been living in shared accommodation for over 6 years, pay bills on time, can respect people's privacy, but can enjoy a wine or two together every now and then :) I work full time in a customer service role in the city. I travel, I read, bit of a foodie, can bake, enjoy eating out, but I usually stay in and cook most of the time. I watch Criminal Minds reruns, with a side of SBS. And I gym (ish). Keen to look for a place to call home. I'm also interested in team-ups somewhere within the inner city suburbs, or anything on the lilydale/belgrave line (city to nunwading) I come with my own furniture, a washing machine, and a whisk. Look forward to hearing from you! Kristel
I and my husband are looking for a nice place to live. We like to cook but will clean up afterwards. We spend our time together going out or watching movies. Happy to say hi and have a chat now and then or will keep quiet if you want privacy. We will be very respectful of your property during the stay. We actually prefer a little furnished house but will be happy to inspect and move in whichever comes our way.
I am a 29 year old female, laid back, clean, adventurous and like the outdoors. I don't like to party hard but like a drink every now and then. I work full time so would only be around in evenings and on weekends. I have a beautiful friendly cat named Harriet who I would like to take with me. She mainly spends her days outdoors but sleep inside at night. She is super clean, doesn't smell and is completely toilet trained.
Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work part time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please shoot me a private message if interested :) Thanks, Alex
Hi, I'm James! I'm a 21 year old student studying international relations at Melbourne Uni. I work casually in retail, study full-time and also love volunteering! I had an amazing 6 months on exchange in Paris last year, staying with 3 other roommates in a nice apartment. Now back in Melb, I'm looking for some awesome new people to share a place with. I'm really clean and organised, and respect my roommates. Always up for a laugh or a shared dinner. I'm looking for a place centrally located near the city, or in a major urban centre like Caulfield or Box Hill. I'm only interested in apartments, and preferably recently renovated or built. Young roommates (under-25) only! Thanks! :)
Hey all, I am looking for a cosy furnished place with a decent size room, and not too fussy on location as I work from home. Ideal to be around Deakin students as I will be studying next semester there when I finish up my degree from Darwin. Bit about me, I'm a socialable, easy-going, conscious individual, love to keep fit, as well as enjoy a few casual drinks with mates, play tennis and enjoy most other sports. Got my ambitions set on Nutritional Education and the environment so pretty passionate about themes like integrative health, detox, wholefoods, etc. Anyways, I'm new to Melbourne and would like to live with some flexible and easy-going guys or girls that share similar values - keep the home safe and like family. Be sure to get in touch and have a yarn. Cheers

Hey I am Halle, I'm a 22 year old student at Deakin University. I'm studying Journalism. I enjoy fitness, cooking, and writing. I enjoy having a chat with roommates but also enjoy my own personal space as well. Looking to live with like-minded people!
I'm an Australian male, originally from South Australia, living in Melbourne permanently for the past two years, with a professional engineering education, and very down to earth. I play video games (console and PC are both cool), boardgames, and tabletop roleplaying, so housemates that understand my interests is a definite plus, but it hasn't really stopped me before. I love to cook, drink, and eat a variety of foods. Historically, I do keep to myself most of the time, but I'm also very adventurous, want to try new things, open up more, and hopefully find housemates who actually are interested in being friends. I'm hoping for a place I can live in the long-term, but I'm also happy to take any accommodation for shorter periods.
My name is Pim. I’m just writing to express my interest in your available room in Surrey Hills, Mont Albert, Box Hill, Box hill North, Kew, Balwyn and Balwyn North. A little about myself: I’m 26 years old and from Thailand (I've been living here for 3 years). I’m currently living in Balwyn and studying at Box Hill Tafe full-time in cookery and part time working in Kew. I consider myself to be clean, tidy and quiet. I’m respectful to my housemates. I spend most days at work and college. My interests include watching cooking shows, cooking, drinking smoothie and having the occasional cider. I’d be really interested in coming by to see the room and to meet yourself at a time that suits you. If you have any questions about me, feel free to send me a message or a text. Looking forward to hearing from you, cheers. Pim.
Hi there, I'm an easy going backpacker from the UK that will be in Melbourne for the next 6 months. I am a quiet, clean and tidy person who likes getting out and about in the great outdoors. Whether that's walking, running, cycling or just exploring the surroundings. I enjoy trying new things (whether I'm good at them or not...usually not!) I have a good sense of humour and when I'm not spending my time outdoors, you'll find me either watching some good tv, watching some bad tv or with my nose in a good book.
Both studying but always appreciate down time, friendly and understand the importance of individual responsibility in a household. :)
We are a kiwi couple who enjoy sport, especially squash, and a sharing a social beer and cider. Both of us read a fair bit and like to get out and about, hiking and diving. We have both just finished university. Danah has been travelling for the last year and we are now looking to settle in. I work part time as a consultant and have been able to travel with her for the last six months.
Hi there, My name's Hugh. I am currently looking for a place while I work part-time and explore Melbourne. I am over from Adelaide and am pursuing modelling here. I enjoy reading and writing, am very clean and quiet, and am easy to get along with. Happy to help as much as I can around the place. I have no pets and am a non-smoker. Would love to meet new people and get to know Melbourne better. Please feel free to ask me anything. Thanks!
Myself Shikha Pathak.I am from India, Gujarat. I am a postgraduate student and studying at La Trobe University, City Campus. I am single and searching for an accomodation. I prefer to live with a Gujarati, Indian family. I like to watch movies and go for shopping and I wish to have a friendly and understanding flatmate.
I mind my own business and generally keep it to myself. Don't really party much. I read a lot and stay upto date with current affairs. I play a lot of sports in general.
Hi, I'm Bernadetta. I'm here to help my friend Saddam find a nice place, he will move to Melbourne next Saturday on 25th Feb. Both of us travelling here with working holiday visa. Since we will drive from Sydney to Melbourne, it's really important for the house to has a spot for car park. Saddam is very tidy, reserved but really easygoing guy, no smoker, quite a traveller and a barista too. Please don't hesitate to pass by any information, cheers!
I am clean, organised and will be heavily involved in campus life at my university, thus not going to take up an enormous amount of space. I take responsibility for my things and am constantly tidying up around me. I am friendly and easy to get along with.
I (Caitlin) am a Business (event management) student at La Trobe uni in Bundoora who works a couple of days a week in Box Hill (office) and occasionally in Lilydale (hospitality). Clean but not a neat-freak, love to cook (don't eat or cook meat but happy to live in a non-veg household obviously) and very social- but super happy to live in a quieter household too. My hobbies include eating food and petting dogs. I do yoga sometimes but not enough to be able to touch my toes, and I love a good horror movie. Josh is a Science (undecided major) student at Melbourne Uni.Likes cricket and board games and is quiet but sociable. Originally from Shepparton, but moved to Melbourne for uni. Redeemable qualities include witty banter, good lawn-mowing skills and shiny hair. We both study a lot because we're lame but a lot of fun.
My name is Shannan. I’m 18 years old (19 in June) and have been living out of home for almost a year. I’m currently living with a friend and his family but I’m looking for a little more independence. My family lives in Mount Dandenong in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges so I moved down to Warrandyte as it is very difficult to secure full-time employment up there. I keep in touch with the family regularly and miss my little 2.5 yo old brother loads! Sometimes I go up and spend the night there depending on my rostered shifts. I have a part-time job as a barista with a large chain of well-known cafes that cater to the public hospital system and mainly work out of the Box Hill store. It is rostered shift-work so sometimes I’ll be starting early (6.30am) and at other times I’ll probably start in the early afternoon and finish in the evening (probably home by 7-8pm). I’m very friendly, outgoing, sociable and love meeting new people. I’m up always up for a good laugh/joke around and have a cheeky sense of humour. I try to be thoughtful of others and respect people’s belongings and space. I'm clean and tidy and more than happy to help out around the home. I care a lot about my friends and would give someone my last dollar if they needed it. I also love a good movie/tv series marathon, gatherings with friends, and going out for coffee, a drink, to see a band or nightclubbing. Although I currently don’t own any pets, I love animals of all sorts and used to own/live with some lizards and dogs when I was at my mum’s place. Then there are are all the wild animals that live on the property - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, king parrots, lorikeets, deer, wombats and wallabies :-) I don’t yet own a car - I’m still working toward achieving my 120 hours (half-way there) so I’ll be missioning it everywhere on PT for the time being.
Hi Lovely to meet you! I am a friendly, easy going gal who is always up for a laugh and a chat about our day over a drink and meal or cuppa. I am respectful of your space and I love to have some downtime as well after my busy day. I work in Child Care so I need to keep fit to keep up with the babies and children that I care for. I do this with long walks, riding my bike & tennis. I am into healthy living so I am a non-smoker and social drinker. I would love to hear more about your home so feel free to message me. Have a lovely day. Fee :)
Hey guys I'm a 24 year old Canadian and I just finished my bachelor of nursing and I've secured a job at maroondah hospital. I'm looking for a house close to public transport if possible. Anywhere between Boxhill and Ringwood. I'm easy going, respectful and I can patch you up if you get into trouble :)
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit, I'm normally pretty considerate. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other cats but no idea about dogs. Looking at getting another cat as well when I move in. I'm looking for one or two roomies to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Looking to move within a couple of weeks and looking for long-time like at least 12 months. I swear I do smile sometimes! ;) Plenty of singing and dancing around me, I swear it just happens!
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night out once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
I am a Medical Student who is looking for fun and relaxed housemates who keep a clean place and like to chat. Would love to be able to go out on weekends, but also hopefully have housemates who understand that week nights are busy nights.
I'm easy going, friendly, reliable. I have a master degree in Microbiology, I have a PR visa since 2015. I will learn 1.5 years full-time at Swinburne University from March/2017. I love all animals, especially cats and dogs. I can sleep with them.
Hey there! My husband and I are planning to move to Melbourne. But before we make the full transition, we would like to test the waters a little bit. We are planning to live in Melbourne for 6 months to a year to see if we get the jobs we are after and the things we want our future to root into. We are friendly, full of life people. Having said that, not really the party people. We have a kitty. His name is Biscuit. He is very friendly and clean boy. An indoor cat. We cant give him up so he has to stay with us. He doesn't bite, in fact would smother u with hugs. We have had him ever since he was a kitten. So would really appreciate some one who would let us keep him. Please give me a buzz if you are cool to keep us as ur paying guest. :) Cheers! Happy New Year! :)

I want to make somewhere home..i want to feel comfortable to walk around in jocks and socks on a sunday after a night out.
