Very down to earth and chill sort of person who loves the beach. I love being outdoors and keeping fit, I have recently taken up Stand Up Paddle boarding and have been trying to go everyday lately. I also have been loving cruising around near the beach on my electric skateboard. I'm looking for a house where I will be comfortable once I am working full time (Mon - Fri), but would enjoy having a beer or sharing a meal with the housemates every now and then. I'm not into huge parties, but do enjoy a good afternoon BBQ with some friends. I have lived in many share houses over the years and am a very tidy person who will always clean up after themselves and take pride in the home.

Active and fit, I am easy to get on with. I have a relatively good education beginning with a BA in Modern Asian Studies and Chinese went from there to post-graduate study. Now currently studying History and Sociology part-time at GU. Life history includes 9 years at sea in both navy and merchant navy, farmer and then, export marketing consultant in China and Hong Kong (where I lived for 9+ years) working into SE Asia and then after returning to Australia working into the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany and Japan. Have also worked for a politician and as a research assistant. Life had been rather good to me overall and very interesting. I am a caring human being: abhor racists; accepting of difference across the board and love a good conversation. I enjoy the outdoors though having access to a bucket bath is a minimum requirement if out for days. I think 'clean' is the one thing I have taken from my time at sea - scarred for life maybe! With regards to my pet (dog) she is currently housed and it is not necessary that she move with me. Apart from quiet and clean I have few other requirements of a place in which to live though, a really nice and interesting flat mate would be pleasant. A desk would be a positive - I have my own chair. I meditate for an hour plus each day. I might add, a response to queries as to whether the advertised room/place is or is not available would be appreciated.
