Hey gorgeous souls, Me and my friend, Scarlett are looking for a place around Glenferrie station, but we're happy to move around Hawthorn, Richmond and Camberwell area. We'd prefer a double room with 2 single beds. Both of us are students from Swinburne University and work part time. We are neat, respectful, and easy going people who love cooking, chilling and will go out often. Message me in Flatmates (or preferably through WhatsApp) if you are looking for someone to join your shared house or if you would like to team up or find somewhere together. Thank you ^_^
I am studying in Swinburne University of Technology. I am very friendly in nature. I like to hang out with friends on weekends. I am looking for 3 months temporary accommodation.
I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in early February to start an Arts degree at Melbourne University. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and friendly. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon :) Sophie
Hey I am Halle, I'm a 22 year old student at Deakin University. I'm studying Journalism. I enjoy fitness, cooking, and writing. I enjoy having a chat with roommates but also enjoy my own personal space as well. Looking to live with like-minded people!
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
Hey there! I'm a writer and content creator from Perth, and I'm moving to Melbourne in late February 2017 to intern in communications in the non for profit sector. I'm looking to rent a private room with laid-back, like-minded people. I work casually as a note-taker and a sales assistant, and volunteer for several non-profits including Red Cross. I'm planning to work part-time and intern/volunteer part-time. I'm friendly, tidy, respectful and not much of a party-goer. I'm a big reader, a huge fan of jazz, blues and soul music, and I swing-dance several times a week. I'm also a great baker! I'm ideally looking for something along the 75 tram line as I'll be working at Deakin University.
From Newcastle, NSW. Commencing 21 year old post-grad Psychology student at Deakin university, looking to live with other students who like to have fun but also are respectful of study-times and privacy. Prefer to live close to Burwood campus but can be flexible :) I will be in Melbourne from the 21st of February
Student returning to study after a year off working and travelling. Bubbly, outgoing girl that loves to have a few drinks and socialise on weekends but a little quieter during the week. Clean & independent. Would like to find some great friendly housemates rather than just people to co-exist with. A good house environment is more important to me than the aesthetics of a place! Currently working as an Operations Assistant in my hometown, let me know when a good time to check out your place is and say hi.
My name is Jess and I am 27 years old. I am currently working as a Customer Service Officer on a full time basis at Box Hill Institute. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) and a Bachelor of Education (P-12). My interests include: sport, travel, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family. I love to just love having a cuppa or a wine and chatting. My weekends mostly consist of going to the footy. I like meeting all different kinds of people. I am looking for social housemates who like having the occasional meal/drink together while living our own separate lives. I like to keep all communal areas tidy and want housemates who are respectful in that. I am looking for housemates who are kind, caring and respectful of others.

Hiya, I'm moving from Rockhampton, Queensland to Melbourne to study full-time at Swinburne University as well as work. I have recently graduated from high school with an OP2 (ATAR 98) and work two casual jobs, one at retail and one in an arts/framing store. Being a student, I will keep mostly to myself throughout the day but will always be up for a chat/dinner/TV binge in the evening. I'm quite tidy, laid back and love to have a good laugh. As I am moving interstate, I would love to have a housemate who is willing to show me around Melbourne and is interested in going out and socialising occasionally. I'm not a big alcohol drinker (but I'll gladly share one every now and again), I don't smoke nor do I do drugs. I'm looking for someone is happy, tidy and respectful. Simply put, I am looking for a friend. Hope to hear from you soon, Meg
Hey guys, I have been living in Darwin for the past couple of years, however, university has brought me to Melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin with 2 years left on my degree. I'm 27 years old and have lived out of home in shared houses a number of times and for a number of years. I have lived in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Barcelona and Darwin. I am currently employed at Sportsbet (darwin office) and working through my transfer to the Melbourne Centre. My interests are in sport, healthy living, business, reading and being social. I like to live in a positive, clean, friendly environment. Love to be social and have a few quiet drinks now and again, however, I'm definitely not a party animal lol. Like to also have some down time and space for myself where I can focus on my studies and the things I need to do. Fun, friendly, positive guy who is very keen on checking out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer :)
Looking for a place around Camberwell to move into mid to end of February whilst I study at Deakin, Burwood campus. I'm pretty quirky, fun and sociable :) at the same time, I like my alone time and quiet. My only taboo is liking common areas to be clean and wanting respectful and effective communication between housemates. :) I'm open to team ups as well as established houses/flats, looking for a friendly down to earth bunch of people (2-4) with a good sense of humour. Currently living in Sydney, I'm hoping to move to Melbourne in time for trimester 1 at Deakin university. I'm 23, studying psychology and a qualified yoga teacher. I love nature, bushwalking, dancing and always try new things and hoping to find like minded people :)
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.
Hi, My name is Connor Blair, I 'm 21 years old and am currently studying to be a secondary teacher. I will be studying full time at Deakin University in Burwood and am looking for a place to live in the burwood surrounding area, however I have a car and am willing to travel for university. For the past 2 years i have lived with between 2-6 people at a time and have found it great living with others, I have lived with people from many different backgrounds (both local and international students from Australia, USA, Canada, France, Hong Kong and England). I have been told that I am very relaxed and easy to get a long with. I am flexible in terms of who I live with, am always up for a quality conversation or a few drinks but am happy to respect peoples privacy when they need it.
Hi potential new housemates, I'm Ben. I'm studying science at Melb Uni part time and work in Richmond. Proficient at putting the toilet seat down, opening tight lids on jars, reaching things on tall shelves and I occasionally bring home chocolate. I'm looking for a share house to live for the next 9 months or so that's not too far from work, I'm pretty flexible with dates and locations. I'd love to live with housemates that are sociable that I can have a beer with after work and wont get too annoyed if I come home late and make a bit of noise on the odd occasion. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit into your house!
Hi, I'm looking for a room or bungalow with a friendly household that also appreciates each others' need for solo time. I'm a temp worker (professional writer/editor) currently on break and looking for my next challenge. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and a sense of fun... I'm tidy and respectful of others ... and believe in teamwork to keep a household ticking along. Sing out if you would like to know anything else! :) PS I'm currently a part-time smoker ... and smoke in the street at my current location, never near the flats or inside. No butts left behind! :)
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I'm working full-time as an Assistant Project Manager in Hawthorn East. I'm outgoing, sociable, play a lot of sport during the week, friendly, clean, trustworthy, organised, don't smoke, am easy to get along with, flexible, caring, love a good drink and always pay bills on time. I am currently renting with two others in Hawthorn and have been for the last 10+ months, but am **LOOKING TO MOVE OUT IN LATE MARCH/START OF APRIL**. **WILL ONLY LOOK AT UNFURNISHED BEDROOMS.** I also will need to workout someone to fill my room. I dont have too much furniture, just a bed, TV, chest of draws, clothes and a couple of bedside tables and thats it! I have a car and will require parking (preferable undercover and off the street).
Heya! I'm Eliza, I'm 20 and currently looking for other like minded people to move in the Hawthorn area with. I come from rural Vic and previously lived in Geelong for study. However, I've had a change of heart and worked up the courage to transfer and pursue my love of animals, because why not? Besides studying Science with an Animal Biology major at Deakin, I like exploring the city and surroundings, reading and having the occasional boogy on the dancefloor come the weekend. My other interests include history (monarchies, mythology etc), binging shows/movies, music and games like Fallout. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, but definitely respect personal space. I clean up after myself, nor do I smoke. If you're at all interested I do have another friend I intend to move in with, she's 20 too and we're both looking for two other girls around our age to move in with. Hope to hear from you all soon!
Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne soon to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills! I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne, and who are happy to share a meal and a drink. I've put down to stay 4 months but am definitely open to a longer stay. Also a bit flexible with move in date :)
Hey I'm Rose - 19, quiet, clean, always friendly. I'm starting at Deakin Uni in Feb and am looking to rent with other females near the university. I'll be in Melbourne from Jan 28 so will be available to look at properties from this date onward.
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hi! My name is Lee and I've recently returned to Aus after a couple of years in London. First time living and working in Melbourne!! Work in policy, so the usual 9-5ish Mon-Fri. Enjoy cinema, attempting to get back into fitness. Like my own space but also enjoy catch ups with housemates over tv show binge and beverages! Cheers
Hi I'm Dom Working full time as a warehouse manager and am looking for a new place to stay near the city. At home I generally keep to myself but I do enjoy having a chat/drink/social after work if my housemates are up for it. I enjoy playing pretty much any sport and am working on getting my lanky body into shape. I've been living in share accommodation for the past 10 years so I'm very familiar with respecting my housemates, being clean and just generally contributing to a positive atmosphere. On a day off I'm usually out socialising with friends, playing sport or just watching series/documentaries at home. I also competitively play dodgeball twice a week. Other facts about me : If you have a dog expect me to pat it incessantly, grew up in France, Disney/Pixar are my go to movies. Anything else you'd like to know please do ask! Currently seeking: -Ideally a mid February/early march move in. -Relatively contemporary house/flat to live in with other like minded individuals. -Room sizeable enough to fit queen bed (furnished or unfurnished) -Reasonable parking -Looking for long term stay but anything 3+ months is fine too
Hi, My name is Brooke. I am 26 years old and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. I'm a physiotherapist and will be working full time across 6 days a week. I am looking for a room to rent. I'm very tidy, friendly, quiet and considerate. I'm hoping to move by the first week of February. If you have a room available or know someone who does, please get it touch as I'd love to hear more. My name is Trevor. I'm 31 years old and work full-time in Blackburn. I'd like to believe that I would be the perfect house mate as I am happy to cook, make sure I clean up after myself and will definitely be punctual with bills etc. I'm happy to share a meal and/or a drink or even a movie/tv series marathon, but also keep to myself at times. I try to keep myself fit by getting to the gym most mornings (yes I said try). I am looking for a place with preferably only 1 female housemate, someone who I can build a friendship with and create a fun and relaxing household. If you think this sounds like you please shoot me a message. Thanks!

Hey! My two friends and I are shifting to Melbourne from India. We are going to study in Deakin University and are currently on the lookout for apartments/houses for us. We will be in Melbourne by 14th Feb. Please connect with me if you have any listing that would suit us. All the best :D
Hello potential roommate! I'm Kyran and I'm looking for a new place to live! You happen to know somewhere?! What a coincidence - let's talk! About me: lived in Geelong to study for the past three years. I finished my degree, now I'm looking for a place back 'home'. Though I loathe the term I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting a retail power company in the next few months. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. In other words, I might be the most intense calm person you might meet? Comes house trained - I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finishing and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I live pretty minimalist. I don't need much, though I do use a fair bit of freezer space? I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Most of them kitchen gadgets and fitness contraptions. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and love a deep conversation.
I am a 19 year old student currently studying at Swinburne University, i also work part time in the city. I have previously been living with my three sisters in Oakleigh, but am looking to live closer to both uni and work. I am clean, quiet but am also always up for a good time.
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others.
I've just recently moved over from New Zealand. I work in an organics store in Balwyn, so I often bring lots free tasty organic food home. In my spare time I like to do parkour, and I read quite a bit, lots of non-fiction, about things like; gardening, philosphy, sociology, autobiographies, etc. I also used to be a chef, so I'm pretty keen on cooking. I like to think I'm pretty good to live with :) Cheers, Theo
Hey! My name is Bri and I'm 24, here on a working holiday visa from the States. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April of 2015 and decided I wanted to do a bit of travelling and living abroad before diving into a career back home. I have been here in Melbs for almost 7 months working as a live-in au pair. Living with the family I work for, I definitely know how to respect others space and privacy, as well as maintaining a tidy living space. I consider myself to be a healthy mix of extrovert and introvert. I'm all about having a good time, catching up with friends--whether it be going out for drinks, brunch, or a good hike--but I also enjoy my nights in with some red and a movie :) I consider myself to be very friendly and personable, and I can adapt pretty well to whatever my surroundings are. I'm also open to pets! I'll love whatever dog or cat you have as my own.
I am Nat, a 28 year old working and studying professional looking for an awesome house or apartment to move into in Jan 2017. I am originally half Russian and half Estonian and im from Estonia (if you know where that is ... ) I am in the middle of my Studies to be Myotherapist. Im looking at moving to Melbourne city or a 30mins (at the very most) radius by train/tram to get to the city. I am outgoing and super relaxed and fun to live with but sometimes I need alone time and respect privacy. Am extremely clean and well organised! My budget is 200-230*if its super nice 240 is good as well haha.. I am not looking for student apartments or apartments/houses where are more than 3 housemates. Perfect age would be 23-35 females or males. Outside of work and Uni I love going to gigs, socialising, exercising, traveling and getting to the beach when Melbourne decides to shine a little. Sunday Sessions is always a good idea. Long boarding and surfing is fun activity as well. In the winter time I am away all weekends at Mount Hotham. I just love snowboarding too much. Let me know if i am perfect candidate for you.
I'm Gee, 25 years old and moving out of home for full-time work as a lawyer in Abbotsford so a place Inner East would be a godsend. Lived in NYC for a couple of months last year so have a bit of share house experience. I'm not looking for a party house and prefer a quiet and pleasant home to come back to after work, and somewhere close to great brunch spots for the weekend! I'm clean, chill and definitely love wine & chats although I understand boundaries. I have a partner so ideally I'd like a place where my housemate/s don't mind if he comes around. He has his own place though, so at the most it would be once a week. We're respectful, and so far have had no issues with his housemates, so hopefully this isn't a deal breaker! My other requirement is a place with off street parking or a parking permit. If you like the sound of this, send me a message and we can get talking :)
After 3 years of living by myself close to uni, I really want to move closer to the city and live with others. I am beginning my Masters degree this year in clinical exercise physiology and I work as a swim/ strength and conditioning coach for a major swimming club in Victoria. This means that I'm not home a great deal, but when I am nothing beats chilling out and listening to records. I am also addicted to coffee, so I'm pretty handy when it comes to great cafes around Melbourne.

I am looking for a place to share with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others. Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities. My adorable cavoodle is very clean, very friendly, & quiet & massively well behaved & professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet.
Hi there, I'm Amy, a 26-year-old high school teacher from Queensland. I'm fairly active and play various sports, dance ballet, run and enjoy a good kickboxing session. I also really love the arts, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new exhibitions/shows to see. I love to cook and make a mean chocolate souffle. I am very clean and would prefer to live with someone at least a little similar. I have shared before with no issues and am very reliable (references available if you would like them). I am mostly chilled out during the week, however I would like to live in a home where I am able to bring a friend or two to on the weekend for a quiet drink or dinner. I also value open communication and am very respectful of others' and their space. I don't own any pets but will love yours as my own. I'm also ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom. If you think I would fit in nicely in your home please get in touch! :)
I'm from Melbourne but have been living and travelling overseas for most of the last few years...I returned early in 2016 to undertake post grad studies and am currently halfway through a Master of Environment at the University of Melbourne. I also work part time as a cook :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I love baking yummy treats but I don't like having to eat them all by myself ;-) I'm a student which means that during semester I'm often locked away in my room studying but I also really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
