Just moved over from Perth, fresh grad and trying my luck over here. So hoping for the place to be furnished. Hoping to become a journalist over here. I'm really outgoing, easy going, loves to have fun, love a bit of wine here and there and definitely sociable. I love to cook, so I would offer to cook here and there when I have time. Always up for a night out and chats over dinner. Yeah, that's about me. P.S Rent will be paid on time, because I have a deal with the parents.
I am conversational and sociable but also like my own company, i clean up after myself, i like doing things around the house, i am relaxed and easy going and i also like to cook. I work full time (45-55 hours a week). I enjoy a broad range of activities, i love my music and attending gigs/festivals around the country with my mates, i enjoy a bit of the footy, a few beers to unwind and relax, i love my movies and board games, camping, going down to the coast, road tripping and travelling around the world.
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a recent graduate and work full time in HR. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city for an easy commute to work. I'm an outgoing person who loves a laugh and some quality chats. I would ideally like to live in a social household that are down for watching terrible TV shows and sharing a meal/having a drink together. My inner introvert does cause me to need a bit of chill time to myself though! Overall I'm easy going and friendly. I'd prefer to live in a mixed-gender household and do have a pet cockatiel who I would love to bring with me (if at all possible). He's a small bird, so not too noisy and he would be housed in my room. I would be happy to live with people with a doggo, however cats are out of the question because that's a tad risky with the bird. Despite the bird I'm pretty normal, aside from my slightly weird sense of humour. So feel free to contact me if you think I sound like a somewhat decent potential housemate. I'm open to existing share houses or starting a new one :)
Semi professional athlete by night. Postman Pat and Exercise Science Student by day. Do come with a black and white cat, and a ginger. Qualified pastry chef and all round kitchen buff, cleaning included. 2 moods, either bed at 7pm can't move muscles or red wine/beer and bants til the early morn. Come with Apple TV + Netflix, Stan, Foxtel Go, Optus sport. Not musical but will sing in shower if u like.
Hi, my name is Laura. I'm studying honours in History at Monash University. I'm clean, friendly and quiet. I like to cook and can bring my own furniture if needed. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi.. I am Elen, from Indonesia. I am studying master at Swinburne. I am looking for a new house in Hawthorn or Melbourne city. I prefer a single room and share with all females. I am an easy going person and also would like to share meals, chat, hangout, have drinks on weekend. Wish to share the house with easy going people. I am pretty neat and usually pay the rent on time. If there is a houseshare/flatshare available please contact me. Cheers :)
I am an honours student at the University of Melbourne, also working part time. I would like to find accommodation in the eastern suburbs as I familiar with the area, however I would also consider living in other areas of Melbourne. Close proximity to public transport is a must as I don't drive. I am looking for a clean, homely place to live with responsible housemates. I am a sociable person but I definitely need my personal space. I have rented for several years now and have enjoyed a positive renting history.
Totally chill person, Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar age and mindset people.
Hey everyone, we're two friends looking for a house share or possibly sign on to a new lease. We’re both quiet and easy going, able to cook and clean and generally look after ourselves. As to more specifics, Ross currently studies English and Philosophy full time and Xander is working for the man full time until the dream of being a professional aviator can be properly realised. We both have shared interests in music (Xander probably knows the entirety of Bruce Springsteen’s catalogue off by heart) as well as politics and the occasional chat about life, the universe and everything. Ross also owns heaps of furniture: fridge, tv, several beds, chest freezer, etc. which can be shared if there is space available for it. If that sounds like your cup of tea then we’d love to hear from you.
Hey! I'm Sophie, I'm looking for a home not just a place to crash. I've lived in share houses since I was 20 so I know the rules/respect/expectations of them. I'm your average run of the mil 29 year old human, love a beer, stan marathons, catching up with mates, appreciation of good food. I'm currently studying Nursing full time at Holmesglen - Moorabin as well as working casually at Ozanam Community Centre as a drop in support worker. I'm passionate, social, love a good chat, I'll call a spade a spade, but always love some down time. I come as a package deal with my black pug bruno. His fat, snores, way too excitable but has a lot of love to give. I've just come back from a month in America and having to crash at the old girls in gippsland, as much as I need to get out of here stat, I'll only move if its all hunky dory! Hope to hear from some legends soon, Cheers!

We are non-smokers.

Hey there, studying my Bachelor's in Audio Engineering. Just moved to Melbourne. A little something about me, I am a very chill, laid-back and friendly. I'm very responsible when it comes to committing to agreements and I also try to maintain a pretty clean and tidy space. Also love a few drinks over the weekend.
Hi! I'm a full-time student at swinburne uni (studying graphic design) that enjoys being outside, looking at art, attending gigs and reading. My friends tell me that i'm 'super chill,' my mum tells me i 'need to stop making dad jokes,' and dogs don't tend to say anything, but they seem to like me plenty well too. I'm still working on my cooking skills, but I'm a pretty excellent baker and will make my family's secret recipe sponge cake on birthdays! I am also a tidy, friendly person and don't mind hanging out with flatmates, but enjoy time alone equally as much :^)
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
I'm a Canadian moving to Melbourne for a new job in international development, and I'm looking for a central place with great housemates who are open to hanging out once in a while. Overall, I'm easygoing and tidy, and usually spend my time grabbing a drink with friends, enjoying the arts scene, or playing team sports.
Hi! My name is Lauren, I am a 23yr old from Country Victoria. I have recently moved back to Vic from Sydney to return to uni, and looking for somewhere to call home. I love cups of tea, reading, binge watching tv series, going to the beach and love to enjoy some wine with a home cooked meal. Very much happy to keep to myself, but also incredibly social. I hope to hear from you (:
Hey there, I'm Mez (Or Maryanne), I'm 28, I work in advertising (Richmond) and I also study part time. I'm just looking for a chilled place to live that is close to the city, has parking & is around $250 a week. I have a few bits of furniture if needed & happy to make cocktails for housemates ;) I keep pretty busy but I also like having a home to relax in. I'm pretty respectful of other peoples space and usually up for a weekend BBQ or music gig. Hoping to move around March 5th. Happy to answer anymore questions.
Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
Hello :) my lease is up in Windsor and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond as I'm so over the insane traffic around Windsor!! I'm a professional employed full time (have my own business), very fun but equally hard working, clean and reliable. Excellent with money and happy to take over looking after the bills as I currently do. I pay rent early and I'm very house proud. I need a large bedroom with built in cupboards, preferably with an ensuite if a three bedroom house. I don't eat meat at home but I do have a kitten so you need to be okay with meat in the fridge for her. I'm animal crazy and I'd love to live with people that have a backyard, hopefully a veggie garden or room for me to plant one. I'm spiritual in the sense of believing in treating others well and putting out positive energy into the world. No negativity thanks! I have a new couch, amazing fridge and LG washing machine which I need to bring with me. I have awesome kitchen gadgets too! Cold press juicing anyone? ;) I will also be bringing my 2 yr old GSP dog for weekend visits so you need to love dogs as he's a rescue and very sensitive. He needs to be around people that have amazing energy and love animals! I need off street parking please. Unless your place is close to Burnley St then I'll leave my car at work. Or if anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for a friend rather than just a flatmate.
I am a medical scientist working at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Parkville. I am currently renting in Camberwell but am wanting to move to a new place. I love cooking, especially cakes and other sweets, and I have my own cake decorating facebook page. I am highly reliable, organised, clean, tidy and respectful. During the week while I'm not working I'll be at gym or just chilling. On the weekends I enjoy catching up with friends, movies, occasional drink or just watching tv. I am currently dating so I will need a place that will accept him staying over on the weelend(I am willing to pay extra in rent for the times he stays).
Super clean and quiet. Easy to get along with and respectful of others. Looking for something flexible and no lease. Being a freelance working flexibility is important. I enjoy reading when I have time and listening to music. The occasional live band is always a bonus! Into natural therapies and love animals and the environment. If you have pets also a bonus as I get to enjoy playing with someone else's dog as I don't currently have pets.
Hey guys, my name is Chloe. I have just landed a job in the inner eastern suburbs and I'm hoping to find some lovely housemates! I am admittedly a home body. I love to cook, I am very clean and happy to just veg out on the couch and hang out with a cuppa or a glass of wine. In my spare time, I love to see my friends, fam and keep active!
I mind my own business and generally keep it to myself. Don't really party much. I read a lot and stay upto date with current affairs. I play a lot of sports in general.
I'm originally from the country and moved up about 2 years ago to finish a bachelor of commerce, of which now I work full time and study part time. I'm quiet and tidy, I like to make sure I clean up after myself. I'm also polite and friendly. I love gaming, running and music. I also love animals so I don't mind living with them if you have any. :)
I am an easy going , fun loving working female and looking to move out from my current place.I am clean and try to keep my surroundings also clean.
I'm currently studying science at Uni Melb hopefully going on to do a Masters degree, I also work part time at a bottle shop. I'm looking for some housemates to get a share house going with for at least the next year and see where it goes from there. I'm an easy going, relaxed person. Enjoy a drink on the weekends and hanging out with my mates. I'm always happy to help with the housework and keep all communal spaces nice and tidy. I don't make a lot of noise and am easy to get along with.
I'm from a small suburb of NSW, looking to move to Melbourne for University studies. Ideally, I would like to team up with someone to find a place in Carlton, as I plan on studying at The University of Melbourne. If I am not rotting away in my bedroom from study, you'll find that I am someone who will socialise and actively enjoy another's company. I enjoy photography, working out at the gym and reading whenever I can spare myself some downtime. :) I'm looking for about one or two housemates who are students and would like to find a place with me. Please let me know!
I am an easy going person, responsible clean and tidy. I looking for a nice place whit nice people that enjoy to ha good time. I study from Monday to Friday and work every day starting since the afternoon until 12:00 am.
Hi guys I work full time in IT and recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'm easygoing, very quite, respectful, clean, sociable and well versed in share house living. I can offer several references from past housemates I previously lived with in Perth. I have a car so I am looking for some kind of parking.
Hey potential housemates, I stay busy during the week with FT work and a few gym sesssions. Lived in melbourne for 10 years, UK and Sri Lanka before moving here so I'm friendly & great getting along with people! I'm all up for a drink and some chat during the w/e and prefer a housemate who's not locked up in their room 24/7. Said that i would value having/giving some space when needed. I'm pretty handy around the house too.
Hi I am an international student here in melbourne and seeking a sharing accomadation with low budget . I am quite friendly and can adjust in any environment . Preffered Anyone.. No gender restrictions.. cool minded. :)

Hello :) I am a full-time student in my last year of university. I grew up in country Adelaide but have lived in Melbourne for the past 2 years and love the city. I'm an easy-going, tidy person who is respectful of other people's personal space and privacy. I'm a social person who loves brunch, coffee and a cheeky bev but I am also conscious of leading a healthy and fit lifestyle. I love photography, reading and Tarantino films. Currently on the hunt for a private room, preferably close to the city. Feel free to message me!
Hi! I'm moving interstate from NSW after living in the UK for the past two years, to continue uni at Deakin. I'm clean, tidy and looking for a social household that also respects privacy. Anyone around the same age, either working or studying full time. I like a night out, chilling with Netflix together and also like my alone time. I won't have a car so anywhere close to transport would be great!
Hello! :) I've recently moved back to Melbourne and crashing at a mates place at the moment. I am looking for a big room with wooden floors, plenty of light, a washing machine and wifi! :) Not in the city but not too far so I can get to work easy. I'm easy with rent ! Happy to negotiate. I'm down to earth easy going girl but I do hate mess and bad smells so clean people would be my first preference. I am very respectful of others and privacy, I don't party and I don't have people over so I'd appreciate living with people who aren't loud and disrespectful of my privacy. I don't drink or do drugs or smoke, maybe if you're having a beer I'll have one with you but overall I like to look after my health and the smell of smoke is a pet hate of mine. I am looking to trial a couple of months, if I feel comfortable I'll stay a couple of years. I want to buy a small pet also not a huge responsibility or anything that would be in your way but a rabbit or kitten for myself would be extra amazing! :) hope to hear from you soon! I am free for inspections all week excluding the weekend when I work! :) Cheers!

23 year old manager who can quote more episodes of Kath &v Kim and more moments from The Castle than anyone you would have ever met. My weekdays consist of me going to work, the gym & then watching documentrys & Netflix, my weekends consist of me going out for drinks on a Saturday & then brunch on a Sunday. Looking for someone to share a place with who lives a similar "is she a party girl or a sad loner, I don't know?" Sort of lifestyle! If you want to know more about me instead of reading this dribble- hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan This is Amy.

We would be looking to move in over the weekend of the 4-5th March and are not overly fussed about the location. We are a clean, easy going, friendly couple. We both work full time Monday - Friday. Steph is a Primary School Teacher, and I work in Marketing. We are always up for a chat and a laugh and enjoy meeting new people. If you think that you could help us out please feel free to get in touch. Cheers guys, Brad and Steph
I'm here from Canada for the trimester on exchange at the Deakin Burwood campus and am looking for a private room in a great furnished place to live! I'm open to meeting new people while I try to keep up with all of the Aussie slang. I can’t promise I won’t say “sorry” or “eh” every other sentence, but I can promise to be a fun housemate! I'm 21 years old in a Communication Studies program. I'd like to think that I'm easy to get along with as I'm a pretty social person but can keep to myself, especially while doing homework and I like to keep the house clean. I'm passionate about wine and cheese nights and do enjoy going out for drinks. While I'm definitely not a gourmet chef, I'll try my best to make a house dinner every now and then. I’ve heard that Melbourne is the hotspot for festivals and cool things to do, and can’t wait to see what the city has to offer. I'm planning to remember the “study” aspect of studying abroad, but I am adventurous and hoping to make the most of my time in Australia. I'm really looking forward to escaping the Canadian winter and cannot wait to make the beach my second home, once I find my first home before the trimester starts. I'll be arriving in the middle of Feb and staying until the middle/end of June. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Hi I'm Liz. I'm looking to leave my apartment to find a short-ish term place to live while I save money to move overseas. I am self-employed as a coach, which means I work from home 3 days a week and out of the home approx two days a week. I'm a kind and generous person who is open minded, spiritual and emotionally aware. I'm conscientious around the home and best suit a home which is good energy, clean, functional reasonably social and happy. I'm a non-smoker, basically a non-drinker, drug free, single and sadly petless, and can't live with a cat unfortunately, but dogs are more than good.
I’m very creative and love my music. Other interests are gardening, I like to have a small vege & herb garden. I use the produce in my cooking. I've been told I'm a good cook. I enjoy catching up with friends, going to see live music, reading, going to the beach with my dog, yoga. Hi prospective housemates. I am looking to share a house with one person. I have everything needed to set up a share house. If you are contacting me re an existing share house, please note I will need a proper garage to store any of my belongings that won't fit in the house. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! 😺
Hi there, Its Azam (Aaaaaa-zam), a simple, tidy and empathetic international student who happens to be a technology and snooker enthusiast, came all the way from Pakistan in order to pursue master's degree majoring in ''Information Systems'' at Deakin's buwood campus. It has been a year now since i got here and recently finished my 2nd semester. Currently i'm on vacations but coming back to Melbourne in the starting on Feb (26th) so will be needing the place by then. I am looking for a ROOM either in a shared house or apartment with friendly, laid-back and tidy housemates but it would be preferable if the place comes furnished and close to Uni. Feel free to contact me and help me find a best and reasonable option. Cheers, Azam
Hey my names Nat. I'm an easy going, bubbly chick who works full time in the CBD. Through the week I like to lay low and hit the gym after work but on weekends I like to keep social and head out for dinners/ drinks. Im a clean, realiable housemate who is looking to move into a place with like minded , friendly people.
I'm a 23 year old research scientist originally from Sydney, but moving to Melbourne for a full time position at the University of Melbourne. I am an easy, outgoing person who loves to both be social with my flatmates but also values time alone (probably binge watching Netflix with a bag of chips and some beer). I also value living with people who don't mind sharing a bottle of wine or some beers over dinner, or heading out to a nearby bar after work. I like to be active and out meeting up with friends, so being in an area with a lot going on is ideal. Although, I can often be found being quiet at home after a busy day at work or on a weekend. I've lived in a number of share houses over the years, so I completely understand people's need for space as well as the need to be neat and clean especially in the common areas. I am also very organised so rent and bills will always be on time.
From Luxembourg, I just finished my studies in Global Health and coming to Melbourne to work for 3 to 4 months. I enjoy travelling, having a drink and going to the movies. I am a very clean and sociable person, and have a lot of respect for other people's belongings. Am also able to pay all what needs to be payed in advance. Move in date is not fixed, I will be in Melbourne from the 22nd of February onwards - looking for a place to move in from that date onwards (preferably before the 15th of March)
Hey! I'm 23 year old guy from Ireland. Recently moved to Melbourne and working full time. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Always up for hanging out and having a laugh! I've house shared loads before, always clean and tidy up after myself and have previous landlord references and all that jazz.
I am respsectful of other people's personal space but also like to be social. Currently studying, so ideally looking for a place that feels like home with housemates who enjoy a glass of wine and a cheeseboard.
I am am older woman who has travelled and knows a bit about the world. I am very accepting of people. My children consider me OCD but I think I am neat, tidy and organised. I am polite and considerate. I never put the water bottle back in the fridge with only a centimetre of water in it, and I do not leave the toilet roll with only two squares remaining. I am a non smoker. I drink occasionally. I can cook, I can garden, I can clean....and more importantly clean up after myself. I am moving to Melbourne to support my son through his studying and my plan is to eventually rent a house of our own once my training period for my new Government job is completed. I love dogs, cats, chooks and will happily walk dogs that I share with.
