Hi, I’m doing my PhD in education working with Indigenous people (that I love) and working part time. I love traveling, learning about diverse topics, languages, nature, hiking, clean places, good vibes and lovely people.
Working full time Monday to Friday and some of the weekends travelling to Sydney as my family is living there. I am okay to have a chat with 1 or 2 drinks after work and very much open minded personality. I prefer my personal time in my room most of the time. Thanks Sujan
Hello, I am Nandini, from India. I am a full-time a student. I am looking for a good, peaceful and tidy place. I am really quiet and a self-reserved person, investing most of my time in my studies and work. I am very helpful, disciplined and very compatible. I am fairly regular in paying my rent and bills etc. And according to my previous college room mates, I am a wonderful person to live with, hence I guess all this makes me great to live with.
I'm friendly, considerate of peoples space and things, clean and tidy, relaxed, happy to share the chores and willing to discuss anything. As I have a dog, I take care of her exceptionally so there is no need to worry. I know her, her things and anything to do with her is my responsibility and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also due to having a dog, I am needing a place with a backyard or decent sized courtyard with grass. I look forward to finding someone to share with who has similar qualities. Thanks - enjoy :)
hey hey! 22 year old Perth girl relocating to Melbourne for work at the beginning of November. I'm a beauty therapist working for a cosmeceutical skincare company. I've been in a rental for the past two and a half years and most of that time was in a share house so I'm used to living with others. I'm a bit of a homebody, and I like my space but always up for a chat and a laugh. I want to live somewhere where I'm free to have friends visit or movie nights and that not be a problem. Looking for more of a homely feel and less of a boarding school feel 😌
I am an easy to get along with guy who is a clean roomate. I am sociable but reserved and dont stay up late partying. I thoroughly enjoy eating, including indian, italian and malaysian food. I love to spend time in cafes. I also take a keen interest in politics, history and sport following Essendon in the AFL.
Myself and my smoochy black and white (completely housetrained) cat, Maverick, are looking for a new place to call home! We are both friendly, kind and considerate, I work full-time in hospitality and am wanting to live closer to work while enjoying a change of scene closer to the city I love! :)
Hey there! I'm Kristel, 24, looking for a place in an inner city suburb. Been living in shared accommodation for over 7 years, pay bills on time, can respect people's privacy, but always up for a chat! I'm a Psychology graduate, but work full time in a customer service role in the city. I travel, I read, bit of a foodie, can bake, enjoy eating out, but I usually stay in and cook most of the time. I watch Criminal Minds reruns, with a side of SBS. And I gym (ish). Keen to look for a place to call home. I'm also interested in team-ups somewhere within the inner city suburbs, or anything on the lilydale/belgrave line (Blackburn to city) I come with my own furniture, a washing machine, and a whisk. Look forward to hearing from you! Kristel
I have been travelling and living overseas for the past 5 years.I lived in Colombia for the last 3 years where I owned an Australian restaurant . Before that I worked in the corporate world for 20 years as a project manager. I am independent, finally secure, clean, sociable, like my privacy also, motivated, a nice person and responsible. I'm not looking for a party house with 20 year old people but i do like living in nice surroundings and really enjoy robust conversation a couple of wines and a healthy outdoors lifestyle .
Hey! I'm an animal loving student, I work 2 part-time jobs and I also love to ski. I'm super clean and organised, and I love having fun with friends on the weekend. I have lived out of home for 4 years so I really know how to be considerate and cooperative in a share house :)
Hey Girls & Guys, I´m a super easy and open-minded German who loves to hang out with friends, cook together, chill with netflix and, of course, grab a drink or go on partying / festivals every now and then. Still I´m also a responsible, respectful and very clean flatemate. I would definitely say that I am a person who is easy to live and share a place with. I´ve shared a flat in Nuremberg (Bavaria, Germany) with other 3 students for 2 years and during an language course in Cape Town, South Africa, I´ve lived with other 6 roommates for 2 months. I am going to study in Management / Marketing at the Deakin University in Burwood from the end of October for 4 months. I would prefer a simple room with cool flatmates close to the University as well as the City centre. So it would be perfect to find a flat share in the mid of Burwood Suburb to Melbourne City Center. I am also interested in Team up for accomodation. I would love it to live with locals and People from other cultures and enjoy as much as possible the City with you! I am already looking forward to Hearing from you! PS: If my future roommates are working part- or full-time, that would be no Problem for me. In Germany I am always working part-time as a working Student besides studies. I am thinking about to continue that in Melbourne too.
Hi I'm Johnny, I'm a strategy manager at a digital agency for work. Some weeknights I attend classes or go for a swim and others I like to wind down with a cup of tea and a chat or netflix binge together. Weekends I'm equally comfortable doing home-body stuff or getting out and exploring! I enjoy playing some guitar and also recently started doing more cooking.
I am Filipino and a BS Psychology graduate in the Philippines. It's my first time in Australia and I will be taking my 2nd Bachelor's degree at Deakin University this coming November. I am very friendly and I get along easily with the people around me. I am very hospitable, and I always try to make my friends laugh. I respect other people's privacy and I can contribute any kind of help to keep the house clean. I love interesting conversations and dancing is my passion. I am a workout enthusiast and I am very adventurous. I am an extrovert, but I also love being in a quiet place. I am not a fan of watching tv and movies, but I prefer having good interactions with the people around me. So feel free to message me if you are interested for teamups or if you offer good deals that'll suit my budget. :)
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.

Hiya, My lease is about to come to an end so I'm looking forward to finding somewhere new in Melbourne to call my own. I'm currently a student at Swinburne University as well as working casually. I will keep mostly to myself throughout the day for uni/work but will always be up for a chat/dinner/TV binge in the evening. I'm pretty laid back and love to have a good laugh but really appreciate a clean area to live in. As I am new to Melbourne this year, I would love to have a housemate who is willing to show me around Melbourne and is interested in going out and socialising occasionally. I'm not a big alcohol drinker (but I'll gladly share one every now and again)or a smoker. I'm looking for someone is happy, tidy and respectful and wanting a friend rather than just someone to live with. Hope to hear from you soon, Meg PS. I am also totally up for teaming up with someone to find ourselves a new place to rent :D

I'm currently living at home so this would be my first experience out of home. I have a weekend job and I study at RMIT. I'm creative and passionate and I really love to bake. I'm responsible, clean and I tidy up after myself. I like to have a few drinks and to hang out with people but I also like my space after a long day.
Pretty ace housemate if I don't say so myself. I like to keep things clean and tidy, but am not a cleaning nazi. I'm very respectful, courteous and most importantly fun. I'm not moody, have no allergies, or things I can or cannot eat. I love to share the cooking, and the couch. I play lots of sport, including baseball on a regular basis (also a big NHL and AFL fan). In my spare time I like to catch up with mates, watch tv n movies, play games, and go on adventures. I work regular 9-5 hours in the city. Looking for long term place, with someone who is fun, friendly and respectful. Would like to be walking distance to train station (less than 20 min walk). 2-3 bedroom places preferred. I've got mostly bedroom stuff, but also a few kitchen things. Looking for a big bedroom.
Health care professional from Sydney originally, but spent 5 years in London and the past year in Perth. Now moving to Melbourne for a job. I've never been to Melbourne and looking forward to it. As I don't know anyone in the city, I'm looking for a friendly, sociable household. Enjoy travelling, going to gigs, following sports, and have had much experience in houseshare situations. I'll be working in Box Hill, so hopefully looking for something along the train line. Preferably furnished as I don't have any furniture. Also interested in a team up as well.
Melbourne born and bred but have ventured far and wide for work and travel. I'm easy going, tidy and considerate. Love a night in as much as a night out. I enjoy watching and playing all kinds of sports. I play organised sports 3 or so nights a week. Basketball, ultimate frisbee and footy. I work as a sports coach and manage a boat shed for a high school rowing club. I am also part way through a baking certificate so often have baked goods around the house and love when people can help me it them 😉👩🏼🍳
Hi, I'm Patrick. I'm an engineering student studying at Swinburne. I'm a tidy person that wont make a mess, I spend time on the computer a lot, either for study or for entertainment, as well as spending time on the weekend socializing with friends, and I don't mind having a chat or joining a group meal. I'm a clean and tidy liver that doesn't make much noise. I am a student and studying full time so I'm looking for a no drama longer term living situation. I ride a motorcycle so off road parking (preferably out of site) is a plus. I've been living in a share-house in Blackburn for the past 3 months, and am only moving out due to the owners daughter needing a place to stay.
I am currently studying at Deakin, working part time and looking for a friendly home to move into once my on campus lease runs out. Having me as a housemate will bring energy, fun, entertainment, and an easy to get along with attitude to the house. I love the outdoors, am a friendly, tidy, down to earth person, and don't mind an occasional drink here and there.

Hey legends! I've been in this amazing country since almost a year now and am pursuing a masters in sports management. I have been living on campus (at Deakin) since my arrival in Australia and am now looking for something different. I am easy going, clean and respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I am an extrovert, absolutely love sport (squash, AFL, soccer, tennis and cricket are right up there), try staying fit, enjoy exploring and travelling, massive foodie and would always be down for cracking a frothy. (If you're still reading I reckon I'm hitting the right notes hey) I'm an atheist (if you care) and have a pretty chill opinion about most things (unless you're rooting for a rival team in sport - kidding). I enjoy the idea of living with people from different cultures and nationalities and it would be an understatement to suggest I've tried immersing myself in the Australian culture since my arrival :) I'm looking for places 'in and around Hawthorn' as I want to stay at a reasonable distance from CBD and Uni (in Burwood) so hit me up if you have a studio apartment or shared apartment (with not more than 5 members). Cheers! P.S: I'm not a big fan of living with children, so I'll politely pass an offer if you have a kid. Thanks.
Hello potential future housemate! Rishi is a full time barista, and work for Sensory Labs in the city. I have been living in share houses for almost 4+ years, am pet friendly, don't smoke and pretty social, but also respect privacy. About myself- have multiple interests like music, hair, coffee, reading, being outdoors in random parks AND FOOD. Cook a lot at home and entertain a few people for dinners including housemates. Holla at me for some Biggie smalls playing in your house all the time and to smell garlic in the kitchen most nights ;) PS have a brother coming to live with me from overseas, so looking for a cute (not small) room to share with the little man.
Hi. I'm an accountant from the UK based in Melbourne until the end of June next year. I did the share house thing when I first got to Melbourne a year ago and it's not for me - I'm 37 and always lived alone. So I'm now in a studio in Glen Iris but paying $340 per week. I'm just looking to see if there is something cheaper out there - and there's not much going on in Glen Iris to be fair its a bit boring. I'm reliable and clean. I don't really know anyone in Melbourne so I'm just keeping out of trouble, saving money, and completing my accounting exams. My partner Jason is based in Townsville but will be visiting me for two weeks over Christmas and for the odd weekend between now and the end of June. My office is in Box Hill but moving to Camberwell at the end of January and I'm not buying a car for the short time I'm here so need to be near a Liliydale/Belgrave station ideally.
I like cleaning the room. I'm reliable, I pay my rent on time. I like to be social but I can entertain myself too. I'm from Japan and I'm in Australia on working holiday visa. I like watch movies and listen to music. I'm learning English and I can teach Japanese!
from the Mornington peninsula, want to move to the city for uni, part time manager at a supermarket while studying health science at Swinburne University. Im pretty laid back and easy going but i like to keep my stuff clean and tidy. for fun i like to go out with mates and boogie but its hard with my current schedule.
I'm an easy going 22 y/o originally from county Victoria. I'm an electrician with a steady income in a heathy financial situation so paying rent on time won't be an issue. I'm an easy going guy who will be happy to hang out and have a chat and a beer on the weekend or just give you space and do my own thing. I'm a clean person and I'll do my part in helping out with chores and keeping the place tidy. I'd also be interested in team ups.
You'll get to live with a happy and social professional. I'm not a party animal, but I'm not a boring old fart either. When I'm not working full time I'm enjoying doing things like: - brunch - cooking - shopping - napping - enjoying cocktails at a fave bar - hitting the dance floor - exercising (dance, yoga, crossfit, etc) - going to the movies or a concert - many many other things I've got lots of experience living in sharehouses and am currently looking at moving closer to the city. I'm sick of living in the burbs and taking 45mins or more to get anywhere. I'm considerate, tidy, reliable and happy to have a shared meal, watch tv or have a chat with my housemates. Having said that, I'm not going to be in your face the whole time as I'm very independent and like doing my own thing. 😊 I'm cat friendly and would like to live with people +27 years old. NO PARTY ANIMALS, DRUGGIES OR ROOM SHARES PLEASE. ALSO: Please do not call me as I work full time and cannot use my mobile at work. SMS only please. 😊
