I'm a single, non-smoking health professional, who's been living in Perth for the last six years. I'm moving back to Melbourne in late April to start a full time Monday to Friday job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer somewhere quiet and relaxed to come home to during the week. I’m a bit more social on weekends, but am definitely not a party animal. I'm hoping to live with 1-2 other single people (not couples) with a similar mentality. I'm fairly independent, but also like to live with somebody I can have a chat with and occasionally share a meal with. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room close to St Vincent's Hospital, with a parking space/permit. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of others and their space/possessions. I always pay rent/bills on time, and am not tight with money!
Hi everyone , I'm Pamir, 24 . Now I'm a post-grad student at RMIT. I have been in Melbourne since november 2016. I'm looking for place that close to CBD to live plus 6 months. Now I'm living in Carlton but need to be out around 10 april . A bit about me, I m an easy going man and relaxed in most of my spare time am going out with friends and ocassionally skating and cycling. Usually at home I spend my time for study, chatting with my mates having a beer and chillin …. active at weekends. I know pretty well how communual life is. Currently I'm sharing space with mates so am always thoughtful , punctual about rent and bills and never lazy to do houseworks....no worries about cleaning. Cheers!
Hello! My friend Rachel and I are looking for 2 rooms in either Brunswick, Fitzroy, Carlton, Collingwood or Richmond (anywhere CBDish really) for May 1st, max $850/month. We are both artists from the North (I - Montreal, her - NYC), and we have left our igloos for your (apparently only slightly) warmer pastures. We are fun. Clean. Love to cook sweet meals and feed hungry flatmates. We are both on working holiday visas, currently completing an artist residency in the Blue Mountains. We are looking to live in Melbourne for at least three months. I was working at Messina in Sydney and will most probably be working at a Messina in Melbourne - you heard right, ICECREAM DREAMS DO COME TRUE. Rachel is a baby whisperer and gin enthusiast so will most likely be working as a nanny or bartender. Probably both.
Hi There, My name is Yoshi Japanese guy 28 years old will be working as a barista at some cafe in Fitzroy area soon. I am looking at a place to stay in North side. I am pretty quiet, clean and respectful. I really like having a time at cafe, library, park. But i also keen to meet new people and have a chat with bit of drink too. Please let me know if still room available i would like to come visit. Regards, Yoshi
Hey I'm m looking for a room from April 16 onwards, preferably on the North Side/furnished. I work as a makeup artist and I’m trying to break into the special effects scene so I spend a bit of my time pursuing that! I’m pretty social/ open minded and it’d be fun to find housemates who enjoy hanging out but have their own thing going on too I’m relocating from Sydney but I’ll be down at the end of next week for interviews/potential house viewings Shoot me a message if you have any questions /\ _
I'm 32 and I'm moving from the UK to Oz in September.I'm gonna be working full time as a nurse in Coburg. Looking for a mixed houseshare in good location for shops and transport links. I like to stay healthy, I cook, clean and go to the gym regularly. I enjoy a good social, eating out and the occasional night round a few bars. Overall, I'm a easy going tidy individual who wants to live with like minded people. If you think I'm suitable then drop a msg 🙂
I’m a relaxed, clean and happy 25 year old who has recently moved down from Canberra. I work full time as a Primary School teacher. I’m pretty chilled during the week and a lover of cheese, wine and socialising on the weekends. I often spend my spare time fawning over sloths on the Internet. I’m looking for a place that is happy to have our own space but also keen to hang out - I love making friends! Exercise (a bit), weekend adventures (a lot), Netflix binging (all the time), too much red wine (sometimes), and going out to try new cafes/restaurants/bars are some of my loves! I’m a terrible singer and you will hear my efforts in the shower sometimes (sorry)…but what I lack in singing ability I make up for in enthusiastic dance moves, always having cheese in the fridge, having some kitchen things (if needed), enjoying a weekend cleaning session and always paying rent/bills on time. I'm fairly flexible with moving date - anytime from 24 April. Also easy with length of stay, anywhere from 9 months. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys, My names Rio 🙂 I'm 27, a working artist, student, work grinder, and pretty much chill person who loves a laugh with my housemates. I'm originally from California but have lived in a few countries, and have been here for nearly a year and a half. I'd love a house with a cool community vibe and super stoked to meet you and share a home together!

Quite a sociable guy i like to relax in my room or catch me outside having a brew! Always down for a chat and a hang but honestly i just want to come home and kick my feet up and have a chill.. Really tidy and always cleaning up after myself. You'll most likely catch me making massive meals for the week or even have a bake off so there will always be a cake or something sweet flying around to eat! I like to get out on my days off and explore the city or hang with friends, I never bring the party home. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you!

Reliable with money and a good person to talk to about whatever :) All round I am a pretty easy person to live with! Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 pcm (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))
Hey, my name's Shane. I'm a 24 year old male from Darwin, NT, set to start work in late April as a Site Engineer in Melbourne. I've lived in Darwin my whole life so it might be a bit of an experience making the trek to the big city that is Melbourne. In my spare time I enjoy sports (if the body holds up), chilling out with some Netflix/games and the occasional beer or two. Hoping to find some social flatmates that enjoy similar interests.
I'M looking for a fab house/apartment to move into with some chill people. I'd like somewhere sooner rather than later, but am pretty flexible with moving dates. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. At the moment I'm just working full time in hospo in the city, but will begin studying fashion merchandising at RMIT mid year. Other than that I like to create, make, photograph things when I find the time. I like having a good time and go out and socialise with friends at bars etc. a bit. I'm usually quiet coming home though and don't really bring the party back to the house. I do also enjoy going to festivals and try to go to gigs when I'm not working. Im all about good times and chill vibes so I'm not too keen on unnecessary drama or negativity. I'll give you your space if you want it, but I will also be there to chat/throw banter/chill with. So if you're cool with that then hmu pls xox
Amanda and I are in our mid to late twenties looking for a whole property to lease. We are reliable, clean, hard working women who work full time. Available date is flexible.
Hi! I am a super easy going student currently looking for a new place. I am very independent and pretty busy with study, two part-time jobs, and an internship at a Fitzroy gallery, but I'm also very social and love to hang out when I am free. I am studying art history and ancient history, and in my spare time I like to visit galleries, read, swim, and see live music with my friends. I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for four years now. I am clean, conscientious and would be a very chill housemate.
Hello everyone. Currently looking for a new place to call home for myself and my fluffy feral grey feline sidekick, Earl Grey. I work part time at a theatre (can get you free tickets!!) and part time as a semi-pro freelance composer and musician. I am well house trained as although I am fairly young I have been living in sharehouses since the age of 17 in a variety of setups and environments. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420 friendly, and very open and caring. I keep myself pretty busy between work and musical commitments, but I am always down to share a meal and or a glass of wine together. I am not looking for a party house, and I really enjoy my downtime while also being quite social. I play the piano alot (I am told it is pleasant) so it's best if you like music. Naturally a clean person by nature and quite enjoy doing chores. Happy to subscribe to a cleaning roster but also more than capable of making a house work without one. So I am essentially looking for some nice, friendly people to live with and hang out with, in a house that is not too far from the city by public transport. A garden would be a bonus too as I have some plants and my cat likes to frolic amongst flowers haha. Look forward to hearing from you.
neat and tidy, responsible, respects the privacy of others, friendly, easy to get along with, not a party type person
