Hi! I'm a 19 year old student at Unimelb currently studying science. I'm from Newcastle, however, but I decided to move to a bigger city to study. I'm just looking for a chill place to stay whilst I complete an intensive subject during the summer holidays before I move in with a friend in mid Feb. I love people, but also like my personal space - I enjoy social events buut, if you're busy/not into socialising, I'm quite content keeping to myself (I'll be preoccupied with uni anyways so it'd probably be for the best :) ). I'm also quite tidy and pay my bills on time too. More about myself: I like going for walks and finding new places, I love church, food, wine, staying in and watching movies, as well as going out with friends.
My name is prudence, 33, primary teacher, veggo, yogi who's just returned to Aus after living in Germany for 5 years. Just landed back in Aus last month. I have a job and a car, so the next thing is a place to live! I have a washer, dryer, fridge, double seater couch and an 8 seater table plus a whole bunch of kitchen supplies. My mum is downsizing and also has couches, a tv, sewing cabinets etc. Just let me know what you need. We probably have one looking for a home lol I'm a country girl turned city chica who lives a very chilled life. I love walks, art, cooking/baking, gardening and drinks of any kind ! No disrespect, no cigarettes, no drama :) I've lived in share housing since I was 18 when I moved to melb to study. Last place I lived in Melb was Fitzroy north with 3 other girls. I prefer to talk about travel or humanities over celebrity gossip or tv shows. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your place :)
Hi I'm Katie! I'm an easy going gal working in Advertising. I love hanging out for a vino and good chats, and pretty into my fitness as well. Cooking is one of my strong points, I can do a mean arrabiata and pretty decent mexican. I've got vacuuming 101 under my belt and I'm pretty handy with a sponge. I come with limited things (mainly just a bed and clothes!) and can't wait to meet you!
Hi my name is jimmy I’m 29 and work as a carpenter. I’m easy going guy very chill and like to live in a clean environment! I like to go out at weekends and stay quite in the week. I enjoy meals with friends and watching films. Not a 24/7 party guy, I like my own space but also enjoy company.
Hey! My name is Emily, I’m a barista and graphic design student looking for somewhere short term until April. I bring home cafe food all the time! I cook tons and am a market enthusiast. I also love getting to know who I’m living with a little, chilling out and watching TV on occasion is a good time! I’m not home a heck bunch, I’m really tidy but super easygoing. Hit a sister up!
I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also understand that I sometimes need my own space. I'd be interested in sharing meals but am also fine to cook for myself. Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
Hey guys, I work in the renewable energy biz, teach yoga and carry out other side projects. I've lived in Melbourne for many years but it seems not long enough for my French accent to disappear! I have been sharing places for a long time too and want to be part of a house with mature peeps who are independent and yet appreciate socializing when feeling like it. My thumbs are green, I play music and like good conversations over nice dinner when the occasion is there. Melbourne is such a vibrant city so I am keen on living there with like-minded relaxed housemates (:. Cheers, Fred
I am Danica (mid 30s) old VCA PhD student from Europe. I am kind of a weird mix of intro- and extrovert—like to hang out and to meet new people, but need frequent alone-time moments. Enjoy music, specially old school deep house and techno, and disco. Like to talk about food, to cook and share meal, and enjoy good spirits. Come with a Boston shaker and crepes pan. Probably the most important quality for flatmates is to be open-minded and considerate. I like to live in clean and tidy space (especially kitchen and bathroom), but I am far from being obsessive, so I don't expect others to be any different :)
Hey there! I'm Kate, 31. I work full time in media researching stories for a lifestyle show. I moved back to Melbourne earlier this year after 4 years living/working in Sydney and London so am looking to make friends and rediscover Melbourne. I'm definitely not a party animal but I would like to live with people who would enjoy a post work wine or heading to a nice pub every once in a while. In my spare time (god, this sounds like a dating ad..) I like reading, watching films, exercising, salsa dancing, karaoke (okay I actually haven't done karaoke for about 6 years but I like the idea) and learning new languages. I'm clean and respectful of communal areas and I'd really love to live with similar minded people. My dirty student share house days are behind me! Other than that I'm very laid back, never been into 'drama', just looking to meet some great new people!
Hey my name's Dom, I'm 26 and currently working full time in IT at a school in the CBD. I'm looking for a place to stay until May 2018 as I'll be heading off to Europe for 6 months! I'm a really easy going guy, like to keep tidy and organised without being a clean freak, respectful of personal space and easy to get along with. If you have a silly sense of humor we will become good friends, I'm a pretty good cook too! Most weekends I'm out and about going hiking, camping or filming during the day then socialising with mates at night. Week nights are pretty low key with the occasional beer after work. Looking for a place with easy public transport to the city & to live with someone who enjoys a drink and a laugh from time to time!
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. Left my job in construction project management in England to come out here and live the dream. I'm a very sociable person but also hard-working. I'm clean and respectful of others. Enjoy watching and playing various sports. Also a keen cook and don't mind mucking in when required. Looking to live with like-minded people.
I've recently moved over from the UK to Melbourne. I'm loving it so far and the plan is to stay in Australia for a year as I'm on a working travel visa. I can only commit to 3 months right now as i will probably decide to do a bit of traveling later on. I graduated last year and have a full time job as a bartender in Fitzroy. I like sports, going out for a few drinks or even just chilling and watching a movie. I've been living in share houses for the last 4 years so I know the deal!
Hey guys! I'm looking to share a place with an awesome, easygoing person not too far from the city and uni. I'm currently doing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Melbourne Uni, as well as part time work to make sure I pay the bills on time! In my down time, I enjoy binging shows on Netflix, making the most of our kitchen, and keeping fit and healthy.
Hey! I'm an ex-struggling artist turned full time corporate minion. I'm looking for a space to write and make music to rekindle my joie de vivre. I enjoy catching films and gigs of all types of genres. Always up for a chat but am super respectful of your personal space as long as you are of mine. open heart, open mind. Ready to move out at any time that's just a snippet of the sick rhymes ill be throwing at you. Some experience in sharehousing/uni lodging so i do know how to maintain at least myself. Huge fan of washing dishes especially if you enjoy cooking.
I'm a 23 year old Melbourne dude who just got a new job on Brunswick st. I'm a huge music fan, and I like to spend my spare time seeing local artists play. I'm currently working full time as a chef, so I can cook yummy things at home. I'm a pretty quiet person, but I love meeting new people and hanging out with friends.
Italian guy just arrived here in Melbourne looking for a place where to stay, but not looking for a room, looking for a Home, where to enjoy spending time with my flatmates and have fun with them. Im a chill guy that likes to party and to get loud as well! Anyway Im also a respectful guy which understands that noise is not welcome if the day after other people are busy with work and that don't mind to keep things quiet during the week! Im Clean and tidy, I love music, sports, open air activities, watching movies and tv shows, streetwear clothing and sneakers, going out, going to clubs and music festivals, and traveling. I like as well to have house dinners and have a couple chill chats with the roommates in front of some dish I might have cooked, or just watch tv! It'd be great to share the house with Australian people just to live an authentic Aussie experience! If you want to know more something about me, not only you’re welcome to ask, I want you to ask me!
I'm a kiwi at heart but have been living in Melbourne for nearly 7 years. I'm reliable, clean, tidy and have been sharing for many years. I work full-time as a researcher and spend time catching up with friends and travelling. I am keen to find a place that I can call home and not just somewhere to rest my head
Hi, Im Andrew... Im 25 from the UK. I have been living in Melbourne for 7 months and looking for somewhere to live over summer. I'm real easy going, very open minded (not much phases me), clean up after myself, and happy to both socilise as well as keep to myself! I am out a fair bit between work, catching up with my other friends in Melbourne and play sport (I play for the Melbourne uni squash team). For some reason the picture I uploaded doesn't show me... if you can see the full pic I'm the blond boy in the middle
We are 3 friends from Dublin, Ireland that have made the leap to come down under with our working holiday visas. At home we all held good positions as an engineer, head technician and support worker and we are currently seeking similar roles here in Melbourne. Collectively we're environmentally conscious, take pride in any place we call home and are inviting and respectful to others. Between us we enjoy yoga, movie nights, cross fit & trying to immerse ourselves into other cultures. We are ideally looking for a furnished house to call home while in Melbourne, however, we would also welcome the idea of living in a house-share should 3 rooms become available for us. Thanks for reading :)
Hello, I am looking for a happy household to join for at least a year or so. I don't have pets of my own, but am an animal lover. Non-smoker, but don't mind living with outside smokers, am clean, tidy, friendly and organised. I work full-time as an editor and writer, learn Italian, love music, eat healthily, and get out for a long walk down along the river nearly every day. I enjoy going out with friends, having people over for a meal occasionally, and am busy with several writing projects outside of work. I am looking for somewhere that stays fairly cool in summer, and quiet at night, so not too close to main streets. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi All, My name is Sam and I am moving to Melbourne for a new job. I am looking for chilled housemates who are always up for a laugh. I pay rent on time and I am very tidy - mainly because I don't have a lot of stuff. Looking to move in in either Mid December or early January. Feel free to give me a jingle if you have anything on offer. Cheers, Sam
We are an Indian couple with a five months old baby, we recently moved here and currently looking for an accommodation starting from 3rd week of December. The accommodation should have following – -> Fully furnished. -> Bedroom should have bathroom attached. -> A decent public transport connectivity to Melbourne CBD. -> Minimum two months stay but long term is preferred.
I'm Sally, I'm 33 years old and work as a social worker with newly arrived migrants. I'm almost finished my Masters of International and Community Development which I study at my own pace. I'm very easy going and friendly and get along with almost anyone. I'm pretty active so like to get out and about (running, swimming, sports, exploring, checking out new places). I also love to travel, live music, the beach, socialising, checking out new restaurants or bars, chilling at home over a movie and a glass of wine. I'm looking for a relaxed household with reliable people. Be nice to hang out sometimes and share some meals but i'm also pretty independent and happy to entertain myself. I've lived in sharehouses before and am clean, reliable, respectful and pay my bills on time.
I’m a happy girl from Sweden enjoying a healthy life style. I like to stay active with Crossfit and yoga. I’m a very good decorator so I can for sure make it cozy where I stay, and I love cooking and baking! I’m very organized, tidy and respectful and have shared apartments back in Sweden before. Hope you like my description, see you!
