Hi, my name is Riley, I'm a 32 year old male looking for a room in the Fitzroy North/Clifton Hill/Carlton North/Northcote area! I'm usually at work Monday to Friday, in a government role in international relations/stats. I like to live an active and healthy lifestyle but also love to relax and wind down. I'm not a huge party person and I'm looking for similar in housemates, but having said that I am quite social and am often out and about when I'm not working. In my spare time I like to ride my bike, check out Melbourne's cafes and bars, see live music and watch sports and movies. I am a fairly quiet person and like having my own space, but I think it's also important to live with people that I get along with. If you think we would make good housemates, feel free to drop me a line!
Hey yaaall, it is Ilkan here 👋 I have been living in Brunswick since last year. Working in a digital agency in South Melbourne and work is sponsoring me so I am looking somewhere for long term. I am into music (idm, abstract hiphop, jazz fusion, neo-soul, dub techno, ambient...), watching mindfuck movies, comedies, frisbees, board games, live gigs, podcasts, house parties, fun facts, art galleries, op-shopping, coming up with app ideas, observing human behaviours and confronting modern etiquette issues (this is my tinder bio as well lol) I love sharing meals, having drinks and real conversations. I love sharing knowledge, recommending/suggesting new things as well. Also I am 28. I think this kinda wraps up. I would be happy to meet you guys and see if we hit it off.
Hi all! I’ve just recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and am seeking a room in a share house. Hoping to get somewhere close to the city where I will start work as a law graduate in March. A bit about me - I love to travel, read, catch up with mates and enjoy a beverage or two on weekends.
Hi! I’m doing the GradDip in psychology at uni melb and am self employed. I’m looking for a spacious room, ideally with a balcony, which gets plenty of natural light as I have a lot of plants. I’ve been living in brunswick for about an year, love it here and would ideally like to move somewhere in the area. I’m happy to go on a lease. I can move in any time between the 14th - 29th December. I cook couple of times a week, love cooking for others and I’m good at baking desserts. I mostly eat vegetarian food and trying to reduce my negative impact of the environment. Im not a party person, and I try to socialise as meaningfully as possible. I’m mostly a morning person ( that being said I’m really quiet in the morning ) My schedule is a bit flexible. Im usually busy with uni, or working on art projects , swimming, reading, practising arhatic yoga. I come with a decent collection of books, a nutribullet for the kitchen, a quirky sense of humour, and a good listening ears. I absolutely love my personal space, need quite down time but I don’t want to live like complete strangers, I would prefer to get to know each other a bit. I consider myself to be very tidy and organised, and an open communicator. Ps. Please Excuse my typos, if there are any ( I’m hopeless at fixing them). If you have pets thats an added plus for me. Ive fostered many animal over the years, so i'm quite good with them.
A 21-year-old Philosophy graduate from New Delhi. I am moving to Melbourne to pursue a Juris Doctor in February at the University of Melbourne. I like to read, play football, workout, socialize and travel. As a housemate, I am tidy, hygienic and responsible. I like to cook my own meals and do my laundry regularly. I am looking for a flat to share with some likeminded people, and overall I am not a very difficult person to live with. I like to maintain my living spaces well, keep the fridge stocked and prefer not to have too many people over at once. In my time in Melbourne, I hope to make new friends of course but mostly complete my degree, on which I will primarily be focussing. I like to live as sustainably as possible – I try not to waste any sort of resource. I think I will spend most of my time on campus, but I would love to hang out with you whenever we get the opportunity.
Hello future flatmates! I am Gina, a twentysomething German who felt in love with Australia three years ago. In January 2020 I will finally come back to my chosen home to study Community Services. Beside that I will work at a place with amazing coffee in North Melbourne. After a long day at work or in school, I enjoy to read or watch something on Netflix while having a chat with my flatmates. On my days off, I love to be in nature, go to concerts or theatre plays or just hang out with friends. I am very open minded, clean and have a lot of experience with living in a share house. Definitely looking for something longterm! If you think that you are looking for someone like me - just shoot me a message. Looking forward to hear from you! Gina
Hey there! My name is Steff. I just left cold Germany and moved to Australia :). I am very easy going and warm hearted and looking for a place to call home. I enjoy going out and exploring nature, connecting with people and good food, of course :D I love conversations about life, psychology, music and nature, as I am a biologist. I am a very clean and considerate person who is respectful of personal space and also appreciates having a glass of wine or dinner together. I will be working full time and will stay in Melbourne for at least 8 months. (I am not a backpacker.) I'm looking forward to meeting you guys :)!
I am a 22 year old from Sydney, moving to Melbourne to work a graduate job in the the life science industry. I am potentially moving with a friend, Laura, also 22 and working for a company in Melbourne. We are looking to find other young professionals or potentially students to team up with to make a relaxed share-house sort of vibe. We are looking for some similar people to hopefully become friends with and not only room mates. I am a very tidy guy and you will barely see me during the week between work, but I am an ex cocktail bartender, so having a drink in the evening and socialising is a high priority in a share house to me. We are looking for something around $200-300 p.w. inc. bills., not far from the city as we will both be working a fair distance away but want to be near the action.
Open-minded, relaxed Guy from Germany. Interested in sport, nature, technologies. I'm looking for a house: + with people of similar interests + a private room (prefered furnitured) + close to Fitzroy My move date is flexible
I'm Amarens (aka Ames, easy! 💃) and I'm looking for a private room. Preferably not further than 30 minutes from the CBD by public transport. I'm clean, respectful and will definitely pull my weight around the house. Always keen for a chat and a glass of Chardonnay, though I know how to keep to myself. Hope to hear from someone soon. Let's get in touch! 💌
Coming from Hong Kong and looking for a place to stay for a couple of weeks while I look for a full time/part time job. Can be a room in a shared apartment or a studio apartment, with an AC and internet.
Heya, I'm Laura, a 27 year old psychologist. Outside of work, I love bouldering, bike riding, tending to my many indoor plants, gigs, catching up with friends, walking, running, and sketching, and make a mean banana bread you'll certainly have access to. I'm a very tidy housemate, respectful and responsible, seeking somewhere that's homely, clean, and welcoming with a good balance of space/downtime and housemate hangs (food, drinks, adventures, Netflix binges - all the good things). Can also bring some couches, a dining table and chairs, and possibly a washing machine and TV to the equation if need be! I've got a budget of around/up to $260 per week not including bills. If it sounds like I could be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you 🙂 Cheers! Laura
