Hey! My name is Jordan and I am looking for somewhere to move in ASAP. I have money ready for a bond and I am pretty flexible on the dates/length of stay. I work full time in Carlton so I am looking for somewhere in the northern suburbs to live. I am sociable and chatty, am always up for a few drinks with mates or doing something interesting when not at work... I try not to take myself too seriously and have a good atmosphere around the house, I am laid back and enjoy being around similar, like-minded people. I like to cook, read & write in my spare time but also head out of the house and try and get about when possible. I respect other people's space and pull my own weight with household stuff as I like to be in a nice space! Hit me up if you have something that can work..!
Hi, My name is Nico, I am freshly arrived in Australia directly from Paris, France. I've studied electronics engineering and I specialized in Sound and Images. I work for 2 years for a company who create digital set for musicals, concerts, TV shows. I like every thing which is more or less close to the culture and art. In my everyday life, i try to improve myself. And i definitely prefer simple things of life. In Australia for at least 1 year, I'm looking for a positive and friendly atmosphere with happy people. I will consider my future housemate more like friend or family member than "my door neighbor". I think that sometime make great meals on big table with a lot of cheese and wine is good for your health..

I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.

Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, respectable guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Like to socialise, eat out, travel, go to the footy and loveee listening to music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type!
Hi there, My name is Nell and I'm a 25yo, female who's just moved to Melbourne from NZ! I'm friendly, reliable, tidy and have my own life going on but like to have a friendly flat atmosphere. In the past I've taught sex-ed and worked in a Museum. I'm not a huge party animal, and am more likely to be found reading, playing video games, taking dance/acting classes, going to the gym, or eating a good dessert! If I do decide to party, I tend to go outside the house. I'm looking for friendly, clean, flatmates who aren't sexist, racist or homophobic, hit me back if you think it might be you guys! If you're still looking for a flatmate, I'd love to arrange a viewing sometime soon. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nell
We are 2 recent college graduates from Madison, WI, USA, on a working holiday visa in Australia for the year. We are very friendly and social, and fun to be around! But we will also be clean and respectful of your space. We love traveling, so we like to find others who want to go adventuring with us! We want to explore everything Australia has to offer!
Whatsup everyone, My name is Dom and I’m an 34yo calm down to earth and composed male homo sapiens. Easy going open minded person who can keep the home vibe going which is happy and relaxed. Friendly, considerate, reliable and just very easy to get along with! Working full time as housekeeper for short stays apartments in CBD and occasionally share a hand as bartender/allrounder during busy weekend hours. Also starting event & touring agency with a friend. For last six months I live in creative-space sharehouse in Fitzroy and need to move out till end of November, soon before our tenancy agreement ends. Looking for a nice place to move in and to call a home, preferable in Fitzroy area or even closer to city center. I would like to have roomies who likes to hang out and just talk about life and listen to music, but are also fine with taking time for themselves. I would prefer someone who is not too loud, but still like to have fun. I’m more than willing to pay bond and rent in advance. Looking from 200/250$ max/pw, all bills included. Please call/message me if you have/know of anything! I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely yours, Dom
Heya, I like a chilled atmosphere in a clean and tidy home. I'm a 30 year old, pretty laid back German and I arrived 2 months ago after traveling in Asia for seven months. I'm searching for a privat furnished room in a sharehouse with a social atmosphere where everyone also respects each other's privacy. In general I'm always up for beer and chat in the evening. It would be awesome if there are bus stops, shops, bars and restaurants close by. I love pets and dogs especially, I'm unfortunately allergic to cats living in the house. I'm planning to stay a while in Melbourne, I worked full time for an event company in Luxembourg for the last 4 years and are trying to find something in the same area. I'm walking on crutches since 6 weeks as I broke my foot at the airport in cairns, I wish I had a better story but I just twisted my ankle trying to get in a shuttle bus. I'll be fine in two weeks though :) I'm happy to have a chat on the phone if you have any questions :)
I am a friendly, open guy who is always looking for the bright sight of life. I have 5 years of experience in sharing a flat and I really enjoy it. I am coming from Germany for a research stay to the University of Melbourne. In particular I am doing cybernetics which is pretty much control engineering. I will stay here for approx. 3 month. As I am pretty much into travelling I want to take the chance and explore more parts of Australia afterwards. In my freetime I am always up for sports and I enjoy to try new things! I especially like to play volleyball, football, tennis, swimming. Moreover I like to go to bars and live music. A must do on my bucket list for Australia is to learn surfing! I am looking forward to a chat in real. Cheers, Felix
I'm coming from Germany and will do some research at the university of Melbourne. I guess I'm open minded, friendly and want to have a good time in Australia, because it's the last time befor I will write my thesis and gonna work.
I'm 27 and work full time in the city as a law grad. Flexible with move-in date! I'm looking to live with housemates who are pretty independent like me but also want to get to know each other and hang out from time to time. I like to get out and about on the weekend for a bike ride, go to whatever markets are around or go to the pub for a few beers. Also enjoy relaxing at home sometimes as well. I probably spend 2-3 nights a week at home, and will usually be out the other nights at sport or otherwise. I love sport, play hockey all through winter and love going to the footy or watching a few games over the weekend. Ideally looking for a quieter room a bit removed from the common areas, but open to looking at all rooms.
Hi all, Let me tell you a bit about myself… (I’ve gone into depth here). I’m a young intellectual studying to make my shot at the world, I’m at RMIT studying International Studies, I should (fingers crossed) have only 6 months left of my degree. I’m a Queenslander at heart and come with my own personally bag of ‘what is this weather?!’ sayings. I’ve been in Melbourne for just over a year, and will be here for at least another 10 months, then we shall see where life takes me. I’ve lived in Brisbane and Indonesia since school, and have lived in my fair share of houses, so have an honest appreciation for house standards and etiquette. I’m clean and tidy, and for the past 5 months have been the domestic goddess of an apartment filled with messy boys (think Oscar the Grouch then times by 3). I’m generally easy going and laid back, looking for some decent people with decent world views to have decent conversations with. I’m searching for a house that has positive vibes, friendly people, and that I can come home to after a horrible day, have a vent and drink a glass of wine. Ideally the house will be filled with people who have similar sleeping habits, so no 2am weeknight gatherings with the music pumping, and similar social values (i.e. giving a crap about other people). I really love cooking, and haven’t really been able to do much in my time here, so I would love a place with a healthy foody focus. I’m okay with sharing some things, but usually like to buy groceries individually. I want a house where I can come home and there’s always enough milk for a cup of tea. I can’t afford to buy a house because I’m brunching too frequently, damn smashed avo… Seriously though, I’m a coffee fiend and love a good café sesh. I would love a cute vege patch, would love to grow my own food and be more self-sufficient. I’m somewhat creative, and would love to have enough room for a little art corner somewhere, and would love to be with people who value culture, music, arts, food, coffee, health and fitness, and positive sincere relationships. I don’t have a car and will need to rely on public transport, go-gets, or friend’s generosity. I work at a bar in Hawthorn and I’m looking for some more work. I’m financially supported by the parentals, so affording rent will not be any issues. I would ideally like to be on a lease, I’m not interested in any dodgy situations. I like to keep to myself sometimes, be independent with my actions, and to grow and learn and discover new things. I love language, so bonus points if anyone speaks French, Spanish or Indonesian. Hope to hear from you soon, Jess xx
28 year old couple from Leeds, England, I am a PA working in the CBD, Carl is a DJ/producer/audio guy working for an events company building events and festivals. Currently in South Yarra in temporary accommodation. Were both really chilled and easy going, looking for a clean/tidy place with a nice kitchen so we can cook up some nice dinners.
I am very relaxed and don't sweat the small stuff. I am tidy without being fanatical. Enjoy a glass of wine occasionally and enjoy being social although I am not looking for best friends. I am generally quiet and enjoy 80's music and I open to newer tastes as well. Prefer someone with a mature outlook who lives a drama free life like me. Originally from Adelaide and have been in Sydney for 2 and 1/2 years before moving to Melbourne for a new job. I am an international official with Triathlon so that takes up some weekends and also has me interstate and overseas travel and also looking to go back to study so I am definitely not wanting a party house. I cook a little but I am no Masterchef. No problem with pets or children as I have had both. (They live back in Adelaide) Watch a bit of TV mainly sport or binge watch the occasional series. I have my own furniture so would prefer to use my own bedroom furniture at least and can supplement other where needed. Most of it only a couple of years old. I have everything in storage in Sydney and in the process of moving it all to Melbourne so I can move in anytime after 25th October.
Hi, I'm Brianna from the U.S., I've been in Melbourne for a few months now and I'm looking to rent a flat for a couple months here before I travel Oz. I need to move out of my current space on the 24th of November but could find a temporary arrangement if I need to wait until early December. Ideally, I'd need someplace furnished with at minimum a bed. I currently work a 9-5 in the tech sector in the CBD/Docklands area and love the Collingwood/Fitzroy area (art and tacos have my heart), so somewhere easily accessible to both of those places would be ideal. Walking distance to parks/cafes/bars/free tram zone is on the top of my list, but mainly I’m looking for some cool cats to share a flat with. I spend my downtime drawing, exploring, yoga, and trying to seek out adventures and meet new people in this awesome city. I’m looking for flatmates that are a bit social, that enjoy a Netflix binge or a drink out on the town together as I don’t know a ton of peeps, but also do their own thing. I’m big into animals, so if you have an animal friend I will probably spend a good time petting it.
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently studying Photography at RMIT and working part time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment, but also being aware of the occasional study cram before exams and housemates being considerate of this time. Thanks! :)
Moved from Byron bay earlier this year and plan to study in 2017. Im a very relaxed person who loves wine, pasta and tiramisu. I enjoy my own space but also love socialising and seeing friends and love the arts.
I'm 31 years old, in Tech Sales and occasionally drive for Uber. I have lived by myself for the past 12 months, which has been great, but I am also missing the social benefits of a share house. I am a calm natured guy and often described as kind and considerate. Cats make me really itchy, so I will have to pass up if you have one. I have some household stuff that I am happy to bring with me (TV, Kitchen Stuff, BBQ, Fridge, Washer/Dryer etc), Otherwise I will store it away. I am looking to move into a place in early November.
Hi I'm Maddy and I am a Physiotherapist working close to Melbourne city. I'm a very easygoing person and enjoy meeting new people! I work 5/6 days a week so am usually pretty busy but like to spend my spare time catching up with friends or family. I would love to get to know my potential housemates and have dinners/go out for some drinks but I am also quite independent and respectful of others personal space :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hola hola! This is Pablo, a 26yo interior designer/architect from Spain who recently moved back to Melbourne (already lived here 2 years ago). I just started a Project Management course and also will be working part time so.. busy times ahead! I'm currently at a friend's room so im in the hunt of a proper place to move in as I will stay here for a considerable length of time. Last time I lived in Fitzroy (Bell St) and loved it so that's why im looking around this area, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Carlton are also convenient for me! I'm super easy going, responsable and tidy so if you guys think I could fit as your future housemate and you feel like meeting me in person PLEASE contact me! :) _Ps: I love cooking so I offer myself to make either paella or any Spanish meals anytime you want! :) :) Cheeeers!
HI I am looking for a new place to live as I arrived in Melbourne the 13th of October. I am Chilean, from Santiago, 31years old. I have worked as a construction engineer for the last 4 years. But since I arrived in Melbourne I am looking for different activities, I came to improve my Inglés and to know another country ;) I am trustworthy, calm but always try to have fun, easygoing and clean ... sound too prefect right? :) I enjoy sports, cinema, dancing and socializing Among other things. I spent the last 6 years living with differents roomies in Santiago, and loved it! Thanks for reviewing my message, I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best, Bernardo
I'm from London, but have been in Melbourne since January on a working holiday visa. I work in hospitality in the CBD and am looking for a place to enjoy my last few months (or potentially longer if 2nd visa comes through) in the city. Ideally looking for a place north side, Fitzroy, Carlton etc.
I'm Axel, full time barista. Originally from NZ I'm easygoing and like to live in a clean and tidy place. I'm not much of a partygoes but I do enjoy the occasional one. I usually keep to myself and I'm not home much but I'm down for flat lunch, dinners and/or bevys! Don't hesitate to flick me a message!
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Oh hey there! We're a chill couple from Amsterdam and NZ, early 20's, and looking for a new place to live in Melbourne. We're social beings but also like to have our own space. Always up for a bevvy or a vino, but also like to just Netflix and chill. Both working in Melbourne to keep us busy and to support our travels! Give us a buzz if you have a room for us! Timo & Sarah
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.
Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
Hola there, I am Theo, a 22 years old french guy who has arrived in Melbourne last year and I’m looking for an accommodation. Currently doing a WorkingHolidayVisa and about to start my 2nd year. I usually work in hospitality (barista and waiter). At the moment, I live in Daylesford (VIC) for regional work, I'm moving to Melb the 2nd of November. Basically I can adjust to any living style though I tend to be a bit more cleanly and tidy. Also, while I love spending time socially with roommates, I am very respectful of boundaries and personal time in shared housing. I have a strong interest in music and in particular electronic musics, collecting tracks. AIso, I love travelling, grabbing a good beer or a good wine in a pub/bar, going to the restaurant (especially after pay day!!!), taking a break in a sunny park, discovering the amazing Melbourne's day & nightlife or hanging out at home as well. I'm pretty flexible actually :) Drop me a line
Hi! I've just moved over from Wellington and am looking for a room. I work full time on week days but love going out every now and again on weekends. Have had plenty flatting experience while studying back in NZ 😊

She just got her sponsorship so she is here to stay. I am a Nurse from NSW. Moved to Melbourne about a year ago. We both spend our days off going for brunch, going to gigs, catching up with mates. Hi, My name is Arthur, I’m a French student from Paris, I arrived 2 months ago in Melbourne and I’ll be staying until September 2017. I’m currently studying at the Australian Catholic University and I’m also working part-time at Subway. I’ve spent the last 6 months in Brussels where I was living in a flatshare with 6 others amazing flatmates and I really enjoyed it ! So my preference goes out to living with other people :) I’m easy going, clean and friendly. Happy to meet new people from different background and countries. Always up to go out, have a drink and discover new places. I’m a real movie lover and always keen to talk about it. I also love music and go to a few concerts every year, I hope I’ll have the opportunity to do so in Melbourne as well. I had never been to Australia before and plan to travel around the country a bit and maybe to New-Zealand. I can pay both bond and rent immediately. I don’t smoke and have no pets (love dogs but allergic to cats). Thank you very much, and please feel free to ask me if you have any questions :)
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.

Hi all, My name is Nikolas, originally from Cyprus, but I have been studying and working in London for the past 4 years. I decided to go have a big adventure and so I am moving to Melbourne in November where I have secured a six month position in an architecture studio, starting January. In London I was sharing a homey flat with 3 other people, where we often cooked together, watched movies and went out to party and dance our ass off, while still maintaining our individual lifestyles. I am interested in architecture, design, art, movies (the cheesy ones too), so I am up for cultural outings at the museum, or galleries, every now and again. I also enjoy exercising. I practise parkour/freerunning, enjoy the gym, bouldering, rock-climbing and I am always up for trying new things. (to the point that I found myself running away with the circus for a few weeks in August). If you think I would be a good fit to your group/home let me know! Nikolas
Hey there! I'm Jack - a 20 year old university student from Tasmania currently living in Caulfield and wanting to move closer to the city (preferably North Melbourne/Carlton/Fitzroy). My day-to-day lifestyle consists of attending uni in the morning and catching up with friends later in the afternoon. Throw some guitar playing in the mix too. I'm always respectful of my housemates and their wishes for peace and quiet - I would never drag a party into the house. If you're looking for a sociable and easy-going person who enjoys relaxing and going places with their housemates, then I'm your young man! My interests are meeting new and diverse people, travelling/exploring, surfing, film and cinema, music, philosophy, art, science, tech, sport, and more. Some of my most-liked movies include: Being John Malkovich, The Room, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Apocalypse Now, The Social Network, and Pulp Fiction. Regarding paying rent and bills, I've never missed a payment and always ensure I contribute my share. When it comes to housework, I always make sure I do my bit and am respectful of others' wishes/rules. Allow me to thank you for reading this far and I hope we get in touch. :-)
I'm normal (at least I think I'm normal!), 36yo banking professional Aussie looking for a place to rent until the tenants move out of my house in July 2017. I could be interested in short term accommodation if the place is good. I love playing sport and keeping active. My cooking skills could be described as experimental. Im usually out between 7am - 7pm weekdays and some weekends. I try to get overseas a few times a year. I need a big bedroom or somewhere to put a couple of expensive bikes and somewhere to park my wheels (on street is fine). Please feel free to give me a call if interested. Phil
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
I am a 24 year old female, who loves going out for coffee and trying new food! I am bubbly, friendly, and relaxed! I am clean and respectful and would love to move in with some cool humans so that the house has a great vibe!
I'm a 24 year old Australian currently studying towards a Masters degree in IT at the University of Melbourne.
