Hey Folks, I just moved in from India. Office in Docklands. I work in Renewable Energy. I'm generally very laid-back and love being around good company.
I am a 22 year-old guy who`s moving to Melbourne to do an investigation internship in CSIRO, Parkville. I`m just looking for a furnished room in Carlton, Carlton North, Fitzroy, Brunswick... and know some new people. I`m an Easy-going person and I like sports, music and having fun with friends.
EDIT Hi there! I'm Matt (24) and I'm looking for a room for me and my boyfriend from mid-January 2019 in the inner-northern suburbs of Melbourne. I am moving to Melbourne from Perth in January to study a master's degree from Melbourne Uni starting in March. I'm friendly, clean, sociable and understand the importance of personal space, due to living out of home in Perth for a few years, plus growing up in a large family. I currently work as a casual barista in hospitality and a gallery manager, which means I'm quite busy! I'll be looking for similar jobs in both fields when I'm in Melbourne. My boyfriend, Martin (36), is an artist currently working an admin job who is commencing study at RMIT in March, 2019. He's hilarious, intelligent and sociable with groups of people. He'll be moving at the end of Feb due to work commitments but I am happy to pay rent and bond until he arrives.

An easy going guy, moved to Sydney in February 2018 and now to Melbourne (December 2018). I was living in Dubai before however I am from Palestine/Jordan, I decided to start a new life here in Australia and I am really excited about all the new things that I am experiencing everyday in here.
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!
I have just finished my degree and currently looking for a full-time job as a paramedic. I am super organised and never late with payments. I like to keep fit and healthy and compete in rowing in my spare time. I have a small maltese x shit szu who is very well trained and doesn't drop hair. I have been living in the outer suburbs of Melbourne but am looking to move closer to the city
Move date: 10th January 2018 - max. from end of Dec. I'm a female photographer, a creative person, have a degree in cultural anthropology and now I'm a mature age student of Latrobe University - Bachelor of Nursing aiming to do preventative health promotion rather than traditional nursing. I'm fairly social and active, but craving my own quiet time between, I prefer a chilled home. I love art, I'm conscious of the environment, politics and social justice. I'm fun loving mix of extrovert and introvert qualities. I have traveled extensively and love cultural diversity. I like to cook healthy, maintain a clean environment, I'm out going on the weekends. I don't drink (other than the odd glass of a craftie), but rather socialize out and about, see an exhibition, be in nature, listen to music or go for a boogie with friends. I'm considerate, respect other people's privacy and property. I'm fine with smokers as long as it's outdoor. I like to find a good balance in spending time with my flat mates, have fun, creating a great vibe, and also to let them to be. I'm happy to go with any furnishing arrangements. If needed, I have fridge, washing machine etc. but they also can stay in my storage. I'm flexible with arrangements. I'm looking forward hearing from you. Cheers, Zita
Hi, I am looking for a place along the tram line between Melbourne Uni main campus and Caulfield to move into after about mid Jan next year. I am currently working as a FT casual as a Recruitment Officer for Clinical Research trials but am hoping to start studying a Masters of Public Health next year. I am easy to live with, clean up after myself, and love dogs but am allergic to cats. Would love it if you have a pet dog. Looking for rooms furnished with a double/Queen bed and wardrobe up to a max of $220 a week or $880 a month including bills.
I work in Garden Maintenance Monday / Weds - Fri and volunteer at the Vic Indigenous Nursery on Tuesdays! I enjoy getting out of the city on weekends and exploring the national parks nearby and am passionate about the preservation of (what is left of) our pretty planet. Looking for a friendly gang to make a home with for a short while, keen to make friends but equally appreciate my alone time
Hello! I am Krista, from the USA and will be commencing post-grad studies at Uni Melb/working part-time. I am 23, tidy/housebroken, a kind and considerate roomie and get along very well with just about everyone :) Hoping to find a great place to call home! Will not be arriving in Melbourne until January 14th 2019. I will be entirely relocating, so a furnished place is ideal, but willing to work around it if needed (truly only need a bed, the rest I can figure out). I enjoy coffee, good chats, wine or beer at the end of the day and of course great food! Don't mind going out on occasion and having some fun, but will definitely need a place where I can focus on my studies as well. For fun I like to netflix binge, shop, yoga, hike, excercise/sports, cook and bake :) Willing to bribe for a place to stay for the best chocolate chip cookies you've ever had! Get in touch!
Hey there! I'm looking for a room to settle into as I jump into my postgrad in Law at unimelb so I'd ideally love a place nearby as I'm sure I'll get well acquainted with the libraries there. I'm originally a Perth girl and fled the city like many others so I’ve been in Melbourne for study/life over the past four years and have this share house, adulting gig pretty down pat. As for my interests, I'm always up for a wine and netflix sesh and am definitely an arts nerd when it comes to exhibitions and gigs. I'm currently hopping around America/Europe, but will be back in Jan and looking to find a place filled with some likeminded legends then :)
Hi, I'm Elisa, 22 yo italian girl. I'm looking for single room in a share house with friendly and tidy people. I love art, cinema, music, sport and nature. I'm working in Carlton, but when I'm free I like chilling out at home or go out with friends. I'm in Melbourne to improve my english, working to keep my expenses but also to travel and have a good time.
I am currently studying a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. Ideally, I would like to find somewhere within walking/cycling distance to uni, but if not, proximity to public transport will be important. My current lease ends in mid-January, and my actual move date can be flexible around that period of time. I am a fairly quiet person who takes my study seriously, but I would love to find a home where my housemates can also be my friends. I enjoy cooking and trying new plant-based recipes, and am always in need of a taste tester and someone to share my creations with. I am a responsible, tidy housemate, who has lived in sharehouses with a number of other people in the past. I do my best to be considerate to humans, animals and the planet, and would love to find people who share similar values.
Hey there, I'm a friendly, easygoing woman looking for a place to stay monday to Wednesday. I live in the country but come into melbourne to work 3 days a week. I like music, reading, cooking. Happy to chat but also like my own space. I like living with peoplw who are flexible and approachable.
Originally from the UK and have spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. I've moved to Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa and will be working out of the Australian subsidary of our global company as a Project Manager. I'm pretty well-travelled and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pubs-over-clubs kinda guy (these days!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine/cold beer during preparation!) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
Hi I am Melbourne born and bred. I'm a student at Swinburne University doing my cert 4 in Youth Work. I currently work as a peer support worker at Footscray Hospital under the guide of Orygen Youth Health. My lease is up in May and I am looking for somewhere inner city to move to! I'm a very flexible and tidy person.
Queer trans couple, two dogs (border collie + greyhound), one cat.
Hey! 🙂 I'm yuuki, I'm 25yrs old currently working full time at anytime fitness (don't worry I'm not a cross fit fanatic) whilst I complete my PT internship and prepare to head back to uni. I spend a lot of my time painting/drawing, reading tarot/birthcharts, checking out theatre, art exhibitions, going to markets, wasting whole days at savers, plant shopping and day trips to the beach. I'm a very relaxed person, I'm not bothered by much, and I'm very into everybody who is their authentic selves! I'm vegetarian but I'm down with whatever peoples preferences are. Looking for somewhere to call home with a chill vibe and not just somewhere to crash. Ideally somewhere where people like to hang out every now and then for a meal, beers, a gig or shitty movie night at home. At the same time I respect people's space and privacy and also enjoy some quiet time on my own. I've been renting for quite sometime so I've got the house sharing rules down pretty well. I pay all bills on time, I always keep communal spaces tidy, help out as much as I can and enjoy contributing to the house with plants and food.
Ahoy! My names Megan. I work full time in Fairfield. I’m super easy going and chilled. I love to have a laugh and a yarn over a drink or two with mates. When I’m not working I’m watching Netflix the footy or cricket and chilling with mates. I live going out for a cheeky mid week dinner, maybe some trivia or bingo at the pub. I keep active with F45 and enjoying the great outdoors. I’m looking to join a fun loving house with amazing housemates. Male or female housemates don’t worry, I’ve lived with both before.
Hey, I'm Phoebe, 22 years, about to start at ACU in Feb 2019 doing a Bachelor of Arts/Global Studies. From the country and looking for some lovely folks to move in with! Non-smoker, loves a chat and a giggle and listening to some quality tunes!
Hello! My name is Kate. I'm a scientist, science communicator and artist. I've just returned to Melbourne after doing a fellowship in Europe/America for 9 months. I'm working for the Uni of Melbourne while looking for full-time work as a science communicator. I've lived in Melbourne for about 5 years or so and have a lovely group of mates here. All my favourite things are in the north: I like running, swimming, reading, cycling, drawing, and going hiking and camping outside of Melb with mates. I'm not a big partier, but I'm friendly and kind (I'm a bit of an extroverted introvert). I'm looking for a place where I can do my own thing, but where my housemate is friendly and happy to have a chat in the kitchen every now and then. I've been in share houses since I was 11 (boarding school - I'm not a teenage run-away haha!) and recently turned 30, so I'm house trained :) In other words, I'm very clean, tidy and respectful. Ideally, I would like to share a town house / apartment with one other person. Thanks, Kate.
