Hi, I am Thilina , an IT professional who is moving to Melbourne on 5th Feb with my family. I have three kids and they are at the age of nine(boy), three(boy) and 6months(girl) Both short and long term preferred.
Moving from Townsville to study at Monash- Caulfield (and get away from the heat!). Not a neat-freak, but prefer to keep areas tidy. I'm pretty laid back and always up for an adventure :) I will mostly likely be busy during the week between uni and work but keen to explore the city and surrounds on weekends and in my spare time. Love all animals, coffee, the ocean and a bit of banter. Keen to make new friends and love to catch up over wine after a long week. Feel free to drop a message if I sound like the right addition to your home :)
Im a 28 year old construction worker who has just come back from traveling overseas for the last 18 months, I would like to say I'm pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. One of my best traits is always seeing the best in any situation...my cooking isn't great but i still love to try anyway.
Hi! I am Akashneel Maiti, a full time international student from India, joining Monash University Caulfield campus for Master of Networks and Security in February. I am 23 years old and prefer people of the same age group. I think of myself as a calm and sociable person who respects others' private space. I do occasionally enjoy drinks and bbq in weekends. My budget is around 180$ pw and my length of stay is flexible. I am also open up to the idea of grouping up with some nice people and renting a whole apartment. I will be reaching Melbourne on 9th feb, so will like a place available from around this date. Thanks :)
I have an upright piano that comes with me. A hammock and stand to put on the verandah and I enjoy cheese, food, wine and good company. I like to experience life and make the most of every chance I get. I'm studying electrical engineering and working as a relief teacher. I can pay the bills (which is important... I once had a flatmate that could not... absolute disaster). I like animals, almost decided to be a vet (till I went on work experience). Not a big partier, but I do appreciate being around people. Would prefer not being strangers with my housemates and I'm looking for a place where I fit and is home. I spend my downtime travelling, camping and hiking with friends. I like to bake (didn't realize how much until I went on exchange to Vietnam where they have no ovens). Have just arrived back from Vietnam and need a place before end of feb. Would also really prefer an unfurnished bedroom :) Deal breakers: pot smokers, drugs and alcoholics. Probable deal breaker: smoking. Cheers Catherine
Hi, I'm Laurie, a 23 French girl working full time in marketing. My partner (22, australian) and I are looking for a place to stay at least the next 3 months. We're both easy going, enjoying life, we love travelling and living an healthy lifestyle.
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to work full-time as a Visual Merchandiser at Chadstone. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would love to make some new friends. I am naturally pretty quiet and will be working Monday to Friday. I'm nice and easy going. I enjoy being tidy and mostly organised at home. I respect others property, belongings and privacy. Looking to live with others similar ☺ For fun I like to catch up with friends, eat delicious foods, try new things, exercise. I'll probably fly back to Adelaide on some weekends. I'd also like if I can have my partner or a friend from Adelaide stay with me in my room for the weekend once in a while, wouldn't be disruptive. My maximum is $200 a week including bills (roughly). I'm hoping to spend less. Plan to extend after three months will commit to 6 months to secure thet right place. Move in date would be Saturday the 21st.
Hey guys, I have been living in Darwin for the past couple of years, however, university has brought me to Melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin with 2 years left on my degree. I'm 27 years old and have lived out of home in shared houses a number of times and for a number of years. I have lived in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Barcelona and Darwin. I am currently employed at Sportsbet (darwin office) and working through my transfer to the Melbourne Centre. My interests are in sport, healthy living, business, reading and being social. I like to live in a positive, clean, friendly environment. Love to be social and have a few quiet drinks now and again, however, I'm definitely not a party animal lol. Like to also have some down time and space for myself where I can focus on my studies and the things I need to do. Fun, friendly, positive guy who is very keen on checking out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer :)
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.
Hi my name is Victor, currently working full time as a Business Development Coordinator. Looking for a place in the South Eastern suburbs. Don't mind sharing a place with other housemates who are looking for similar accommodation. If this is something you can help with or are interested in then please feel free to get in touch with me.
Looking for twin share bedroom, cbd area and around, or caulfield area, close to public transport, has our own bath, parking will be a bonus. Rental can be negotiated depends on areas. We are full time students, girls, from China, have experienced share flat or house quite a few, pay rent & bills on time, pretty easygoing girls and always clean and tidy common areas after using. We hope look for a place with relax air not stressful.
easy going, friendly but also like my own space, wouldnt mind having a wine or 2 with you every now and then, i work full time at chadstone as a makeup artist, i try and keep fit, walks and gym on my days off, dinner and drinks with friends on a saturday night or enjoy a quite one at home :)
I'm tidy and easy-going. And I have a lot of interests, like watching movies, playing guitar, cooking, swimming, jogging. Currently, I'm studying in Monash, doing master of BIS. Hope I can find a perfect place via flatmates.
I am in my last year of a tax/business law and accounting degree at Monash and work as a store manager in retail. I have two cats who are fully trained and tend to sleep most of the day. Because i am so busy with work/uni i tend to stay out of the way but am keen to make new friends with future roomies.
I am a former IT consultant who decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Medical doctor. Therefore I am studying full time, working during holiday periods. I am quiet, organised with my things & the house, tidy and clean. I spend a lot of time studying at my room so a quiet place is important. In my free time I love reading, going to the beach, travelling, hanging out with friends for food or drinks, going to concerts etc.
Hi! My name is Mollie, I'm 21, I've just finished studying fulltime and I'm working in retail. I'm a very bright, bubbly and easy going person, I'm also neat and tidy, courteous and respectful and I really enjoy cooking and baking. I love to get out and about but a quiet one in front of the TV with some comfort food is totally my style too. I'm happy being social and interacting with my house mates as well as taking some time to myself. I'm very serious about finding somewhere and I'm looking to move closer to work, I'd love to be able to find a house or flat, sharing with ideally a maximum of three people that I really get along with. If I could find somewhere with a private bathroom and room that would also be ideal.
I am an Italian postgraduate student. I'll be studying at Monash full-time and I hope to find part-time job, too. I'm very open-minded and enjoy being with people of all different backgrounds. I love traveling and outdoor activities, I do yoga and love to share my passions with others! Chill and easy-going, I can be quiet whenever needed, but most of the time I am social and talkative! I can cook Italian food (and love to cook for friends), plus I am tidy and clean and I love pets (even though I don't have any)! I don't smoke but I don't mind others smoking. I've been sharing houses and rooms for the past five years, which makes me an expert .. can't wait to discover Australia!
Hi, I am a fourth year medical student looking for somewhere to live during the year (end of January - end of November). Am easy going, clean up after myself and enjoy the sharehouse vibe. Ideally looking for places near a train station with rent under $150pw and clean, friendly housemates.
Can adapt to whatever environment I'm thrown into whether that is party central or stay at home kind of crew. I'm a country girl making the move to Melbourne and enjoy sport, good food and Game of Thrones.
I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented/lived in sharehouses before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.
I'm Tom, I'm an international student at Monash and I work part time at Woolworths. I have lived with family for 3 years in Australia but I wish to stay on while they have/are moving back to Ireland. Even though I'm not Australian I'm very settled here and I want to live with some Aussies because I get on very well with you people. I'm very clean and organised, I keep to myself mostly but I'm still very easy going and friendly. I am hard working when it comes to uni so I will probably be spending a lot of time studying and in my down time I'll probably be with my girlfriend or my friends - I don't really like hosting parties and I don't intend on bringing a lot of people over. I drink a lot of tea and coffee so I will regularly offer to make you a hot drink. My ideal place would be one with a big back garden because I have a BBQ and an outdoor table in my current place that I'd like to take with me. I'd also prefer an unfurnished room because I have a lot of furniture to bring including a bed, desk, bedside table and drawers. I don't really have an ideal flatmate, as I said I'm very easy going so whether you're the type to keep to yourself or if you want a friend I think I'd be a good addition to your place. My hobbies include soccer, futsal, photography, going to the beach and travelling, but mostly I just chill with my friends or sit around reading books and playing video games.
I am Alan, 34 years old, from Hong Kong studying at Monash now. My personality is a tidy, fairly quiet, friendly, respectful, considerate and honest. I enjoy to have dinner with my friends and flatmates or going out for a drink or to do some sport (when we are not in rush and we have time), I have quitted smoke and I drink alcohol just in special occasion but not too much. I would like to spend on my education for three years in Melbourne. I am looking for somewhere are not far away from my campus. I have my own vehicle.
From NZ Logistics manager at a dairy factory Easy going, quiet, tolerant Been in Aussie for a couple years but living with family so haven't had much of a chance to meet new people. Making some new friends would be a bonus Looking for a place with an unfurnished bedroom, rest of the house can be either furnished or not doesn't worry me. Ideally the place should be within walking distance to a station on the pakenham line or a short tram trip
I am from Malaysia. I love to swim and travel. I just finish studying and looking for a place to stay. Moving from student accommodation. I like my own personal space as well. I am very easy going and I can't live with fussy or negative people.
Hello good peeps, I am a laid back accounting/business management professional of 31years. I am local to the SE suburbs and am looking for somewhere to replace my previous awesome abode in Caulfield North. I work 9-5, like things relatively tidy and am happy to work into a whatever chores schedule is the go. Interests include economics/politics/business (boring eyy?) and also keeping fit, coffee, getting out for a few drinks on the we and a couple crappy TV shows. All up, I am looking for somewhere easy going and friendly where I can basically mostly do my thing but also have some social atmosphere at home. Cheers big ears
Currently working fulltime (recently graduated) but might return to study later this year. About me: I'm very laid back, and not a fussy person. My big loves are food and travel. I like my space (especially when I'm tired) but at the same time, I really want a place where we are all social and can do things together. I love going out and trying new things and especially exploring the city. I don't have raging parties (anymore) but I definitely still like to have a drink most weekends. I might be getting too old for clubs but I am totally in love with Melbourne's night life and I like discovering new bars. But, when im studying I take it very seriously so I am very respectful of a need to balance work and fun. Other than that, in my spare time I'm usually at the gym or watching movies. It would be great to find like-minded people to share a home with but am really just looking for a place that is happy and relaxed. Send me a message and I'm happy to chat.
I am looking for a place to share with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others. Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities. My adorable cavoodle is very clean, very friendly, & quiet & massively well behaved & professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet.
- I Have been living alone for 2 years, i'm very clean and respectful of peoples privacy, love health & fitness, I like to have a chat & also enjoy alone time. Very reliable and loyal person :)
I'm a full time worker and a soon to be student commencing study at Monash 2018. (This is a gap year to support myself for uni next year). I'm not a party person, I'm hard working and low maintenance. I'm an easy going vegetarian, easy to live with - tidy and friendly
Hi there, my name is Kat and I am a full-time student looking for a quiet and clean place to move it. Myself, between my 2 part-time jobs and uni I like to socialise and swim. Shoot me a message if you think we would make a good team.
Jess: I'm a full-time student at RMIT City who loves a good game of soccer, or a late night chat over a few drinks. I'm working part-time at Krispy Kreme along Swanston St and doing some occasional acting and children's entertainment work on the side, so anything close to the heart of the city is ideal for me! I'm always open to chat, love meeting new people and would love to share with someone who is at least a little social like myself. Matilda:
I'm easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I'm a working professional. I'm from England originally but have recently become an Australian citizen. I enjoy music, sports and cooking.😁
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Here's a little something about myself to kickstart! I'm 21,currently in undergrad studying Psychology. I'm moving to Melbourne for the next few months to finish off my last semester in Monash University. I love quiet nights in to do some work and study with the exception of going out to socialise here and there! I'm very clean and tidy- loves to cook goooood food. I'm very considerate and respectful when it comes to personal space and privacy- as I like my own too! Also, very relaxed, fun and friendly and looking for a great place to stay! I'm very active during my days and I occupy time with either some sport or outdoor activities. I like going out to sightsee and find new, exciting and hidden gems around the area. A coffee and dessert enthusiast but also, most definitely likes living healthy.
Hi there, I'm Yadhu. I am a friendly, tidy and quiet person who respects other's privacy. I just graduated from Monash. I'll be starting full-time work by the end of January in the CBD, and so I'd like to find a place to move into before work starts (preferably close to a station).
Hello! I'm a student at Monash doing arts/law. I'm pretty easy to live with - have an understanding of personal space, am clean and reliable when it comes to rent/bills. I'm not too sure what else to write right now, but if you have any questions please feel free to message me!
Hi there! My name is Heleen, and I am a 30 y/o Dutchie from Amsterdam. I just got in town and will be working at Monash for the coming year, so I'm looking for a nice place to stay! Since I'll be working full time I'm not interested in a party house, but rather a nice home with grown-up ;) flatmates to share friendship, stories & wines, and the occasional dinner. If you can relate please send me a p.m! Heleen
Currently got enrolled in Monash as a full time postgraduate student in Social Work. A tidy, easy going non-smoker from Taiwan. Both a cat and dog person. Not exactly a party person but do enjoy chilling with a glass of beer after work or school.
Hi, we’re Sam (22yrs) and Hogan (20yrs), two Monash Uni students who are currently moving out of our 3 bedroom share house in Clayton. Our third housemate Victoria has abandoned us to travel to Canada after completing her internship here in Melbourne. We’re looking for additional house mates to join us in a hunt to find a nice, cheap, well situated 3 or 4 bedroom place between Clayton and Caulfield starting as soon as convenient. Initially we were looking for two bedroom places however they were really small and expensive. Looking at the 3 and 4 bedroom houses they seemed to be much nicer and less expensive split between 3 or 4 people. We thought by teaming up with some people in similar situations we could all have a say in what house was decided on. We’re both country kids turned Monash students who are social, easy going and love a beer or three on occasion but know when to knuckle down and do some work. We are also clean, respectful and we share the chores equally around the house. Sam is a design/eng student who is into anything outdoorsy, tinkering with old cars and gardening. Hogan is a medical imaging student who loves his cooking and is handy with computers. We are both back in Melbourne at the moment ready to facilitate the process of hunting for a house – And boy are there some cheap, juicy ones out there! Because we are looking for housemates prior to signing a lease, we can all have a say in the location and price. If this appeals to you send us a message back and we can work out a time when we are all free to meet and have a chat! Sam + Hogan
I am a Postgraduate student from Bangladesh. I usually keep my room and residence tidy and tend to be quiet and can get along well with others. I am looking for a place to stay in during my MBA course for a minimum of 6 months to a year, which has a garage or something similar to park my car. I would also prefer bills (electricity, water, gas and internet) to be included as well.
Hello! My name's Racquel - Rac's way easier to call me though. I'm 18, and I work as a chef, and will be studying patisserie in February. I'm an active person - Im very much into lifting weights, play netball twice a week as well. A huge music fan, I'm the kind of person to blast triple J in the car. I spend my spare time baking and singing (I'm not very good though..) I'm not much of a drinker and dont go out much. I am a sociable person, I just dont have time whilst working! I'm a clean person but as you can imagine I am very anal about having my kitchen clean! I'm pretty happy and love to help others where I can. If youre interested in sharing your place with me, feel free to message me!
Growing up in New Zealand and moving to Melbourne 5 years ago, I couldn't be prouder to call this city home. Being an only child and having my mum always occupied with work, I have spent the last year and a half living on my own whilst completing high school, holding a part-time job and developing a huge passion for the gym, amongst other things. I am extremely tidy, organised, mature, and value my solitude, but I also love meeting new people and am always down for a chat or a bit of banter. Most of the time you will find me lifting weights at the gym, working at my part-time job, catching up with a friend over brunch at some new trendy cafe, or winding down at home - most likely with a tub of ice cream.
The two of us are students at homesglen learning culinary arts. I (Saurabh) have been around Melbourne for sometime now, while sagar is absolutely new in here. I work part time as a chef and am very much house trained as I've been living share houses. Sagar is absolute chill and great to hangout with. I, on the other side, am calm and responsible. Both of us love nightouts, dinner parties and everything else. I assure that you won't have a problem with us. Cheers
I'll be in Europe in January/February and am looking for a place for when I get back to Melbourne at the end of February. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
I prefer single accommodation, however if I would have to share I would say I am patient, flexible, tidy and love to laugh. I am an Early Years educator, recently returned from overseas where I've stayed over 10 years for work purpose. Love animals although I don't have one at the moment. Enjoy good music and the beach is my favorite place to relax.
I'm a 27 y/o Melbourne local looking for a place in the south east, or close to Melbourne Uni, to call home. I currently work full time in compliance, and I'll be starting law at Melbourne in early Feb. I like to spend the rest of my time reading, cooking, trying to learn a new language, and checking out new brunch places. I'm good for a chat but not a space invader, and I'm pro-active in keeping things tidy. If it sounds like I'd fit in at your share house, get in touch and we can sort something out. Look forward to hearing from you!
