Hi my names Jaylene. I'm currently working full time in Notthing hill. I've been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years mostly in the south east area. I love a chat or if you need space im ok with just chilling in my room, I generally like to keep to myself. I like to get out and about during the weekend, also don't mind a few wines every now and then. I'm clean and always willing to help out around the house. Very respectful towards others and have an open mind. I also have a boyfriend although he won't be coming with me I'd like to find a place where the occasional overnight stay is ok. Currently looking for a room close to public transport or if anyone would like to team up I'm open to that as well. :)
My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a place to live close to Box Hill Hospital as I've just been offered a job there! I've just returned from living and working in Canada for the past 18 months, working at a ski resort for two seasons and working with Bears in the summer. I start my new job in Pathology on the 29th of May so would be available to move in after then as I'm out of town at the moment and I'll be working Monday to Friday at different times. I love the snow so will hopefully head up to Mt Buller as much as I can on the weekends to snowboard. I currently live in Pearcedale which is just too far of a drive so I'm looking to live closer to the city. I'm very neat and tidy, I enjoy staying fit, cooking and going out for drinks every now and then!
I'm an easy-going third year Monash psychology student who loves sharing a meal and a drink or two with fellow flatmates. I do have a couple of well-received dishes which I love to cook for people. I'm also quite enthusiastic about movie nights. I come with a hard drive full of TV shows. What makes me a truly good flatmate is that I went to boarding school so I've been living communally for like 5 years now and am very considerate of other people's space and things. I'm also very good at cleaning and very much willing to do chores. I do come with a car and I am happy to use it in the name of food/ take-out. One of my requirements is that I prefer to be with people who aren't excessively loud on school nights. But I really would like to live in a social household.
Hey there! We are a couple (with a very sweet and friendly elderly cat) searching for a single, preferably large bedroom with relatively easy access to Monash + Deakin University. Tim is a Maths student at Monash who does theatre, is a video game enthusiast + a ripper musician while Tina is a qualified nurse that studies at Deakin, adores art, vegan/vegetarian cooking and adventures! We are both tidy, respectful and very easy going people with an excellent sense of humour. Message us if we sound like the right room mates for your house and we'll arrange for a time to meet you.
Hi, i'm Nicholas and i'm from Malaysia. I'll be going on an exchange to Monash Caulfield on July till the end of the year. As such, i'm looking for a people to share accommodation with. I am a friendly, kind and thoughtful person. I like the outdoors and love sports, especially basketball. I wouldn't consider myself a difficult person to live with and i can very funny when you get to know me. Feel free to contact me for more info :)
I'm the kind of person that can easily get along with other people; watching movies, play sports or go to the gym. I'd like to maintain cleanliness in my place all the time and love to help with the household chores. Open to meet new friends and respectful to others' privacy or culture.
Hey There! I'm Tirrell, 23 year old Monash Uni Student studying Geology and Human geography. I'm big into swimming, cooking, trecking, books and videogames. I have been living out of home for the past year so yes I am capable of cleaning up after myself. Uni and work tend to keep me pretty busy. Not a huge partier at the moment but have been know to enjoy a few bevs an am 420 friendly. Would love to find a place with easy and relatively timely public transport to Monash Uni Clayton and some laid back housemates. I should let you know im a vegetarian but am really not phased by what anyone else eats just means if you are looking to share groceries it may be a little inconvenient... Sorry for the stream of consciousness ^^^ but drop me a line if you think I fit the bill for a potential housemate and we can go from there.
- 29 year old female from London looking to live in Melbourne for 9-12 months to experience Australian life - went travelling beacuse I started job I didn't like and was sad about turning 30 in September - studied sport science in london and worked in community sport for 4 years - picked melbourne because it sounds full of food, sport and art (and lots of people said it reminded them of london) - am super clean and pretty chilled out - looking for similar flat mates - love travel, sport (all sports but soccer is my fave), music & food (eating and cooking)
I keep to myself, but love socialising and good, long conversations every now and then. I'm neat and good at keeping communal areas clean. I don't go out every weekend, but don't mind a good party. I don't know if I'm very good at it but I love cooking.
Hi, I'm Aidz, 30 y/o, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'll be arriving in Melbourne on June 26. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
Hello I'm Kei from the Philippines. I'll be studying in Monash U as PhD student. I will move to Australia with my partner and our two-yr old daughter. We are looking for a room or house to rent preferably near my university and with bills included in the maximum budget indicated. We're friendly and warm and would like to find flatmates that are welcoming and respect one's privacy. My partner loves to cook and we're willing to share whatever dish he cooked. We love to watch films and to travel.
I'm Indonesian Commercial Cookery Student Currently working at MCG , Studying at Dandenong. I respect others privacy , love to hang out , easy - going . Place that have parking, modern house , and clean would be preferable. I don't mind places that have dogs as i love dogs. I would prefer housemate that's sociable but respect my quiet time as well. Hi, we are a couple aged 25(myself) and my partner aged 32. We are looking for a spacious room with its own Ensuite or a private bathroom of our own. We prefer a house where the common areas are spacious enough for everyone to chill and relax and not be squashed together on a tiny couch if you get my drift. Unless of course the room is big enough for us too have our own little couch in. Our hobbies and interest are playing piano and guitar a little. I sing, and we both are hiphop/funk dancers. We both work and are a bubbly and friendly couple! We both come from respectful backgrounds. We are great mannered, respectful towards others, their personal space and belongings. We pay rent on time and are very clean and tidy as my partner has asthma, so we like to maintain a clean environment! We are currently living and paying board with my parents and little brother who is 22. They are very supportive, but as you are probably aware, its not the ideal living situation for a couple of our age. Therefore, we are looking for a stepping stone for the next 6 or so months towards getting our own place. I have lived in shared housing before. And could provide references if need be. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you, Shadae and Matt :)
I'm a 25 year old working professional looking for a place to live! I think the people make the house and would love somewhere where I can feel comfortable sharing a bottle of wine (or pepsi, alcohol not required!) or lying on the couch reading a book.
I'm a 24 yr old male who is studying part time at rmit and working part time in south wharf. I am a friendly guy who is happy to be social and go out for a meal or drinks and enjoy other people's company but i still enjoy time on my own as well. I've lived in a few share houses before so i always put in around the house to keep things clean and tidy and i always pay rent and bills on time. I am respectful of other people too, i wont be partying at 2am on a tuesday when everyone has work the next day as i have lived with people like that before and i know how annoying that can be! since i am studying and working in the city i'd like to find a room close to public transport, preferably a train station. Shoot me a message if you want to know more!
Originally from the UK, but have lived in Melbourne for 10 years. I work full-time in the city as a Marketing and Business Development Manager at a law firm. Pretty active with sports - running, badminton, swimming, gym, pilates, yoga and barre, which I usually do after work (or in the morning if I am awake early). I currently live on Chapel Street so I am keen to stay within the area. Brunching, hiking, reading and binge watching TV are also regularly on my agenda. Always up for a glass of wine. Also - clean and tidy because that's a thing.
I'm a young at heart 44 year old Beauty Therapist looking for a like minded person/s to share a comfortable relaxed home with. It would be great to live with someone who's easy going, has a good sense of humour, ability to communicate whilst being respectful and 'maybe' share an occasional meal and/or glass of wine at the end of a long day/week. I'm very tidy, respectful and very easy going I've lived with housemates for over 15years, so I feel I have a good understanding of the dynamics of living with other people. I consider my 'home' to be my sanctuary as I lead a busy lifestyle and my weeks can be quiet 'hectic' with work etc. In saying that I'm also quite social and love to have abit of a chat if my housemate/s are feeling the same way. I have a lil kitten I adopted who's the sweetest thing you've ever met. She's more like a dog than a cat, so Peanut likes to say 'hello' to housemates and visitors but also likes alot of alone time too.
Heyaa! My name is Shweta and I have been living in Melbourne for almost 3 years now! I am looking for a share house/apartment to move in. Location isn't too much of an issue as long as there is public transport near by into the city. I have recently graduated from a Master's degree and working part time (weekends as well). I absolutely love to chat, binge watch television shows and enjoy coffee!
Hi I'm from New Zealand and have spent most of my time over the last few years living in Melbourne and am moving back again to Melbourne next month 😊 I work with horses full time so normally keep to myself during the week as I'm busy with work but enjoy socialising and having a bit of fun on my weekends off. Looking for a homely place preferably near Caulfield racecourse as I don't have my own transport just yet. Thank you!
I'm a considerate, moderate guy looking to share with 2 or 3 mature, moderate, and considerate people (approximately over 38 years of age). I prefer not to live with sports enthusiasts, TV sports watchers or reality TV followers (sorry but that's just not me). If there is a TV (I can live without one) I do enjoy science, nature or social-science type docos. Quiet at night when trying to sleep is important to me. I'd like to live with people who need and value that as well :) I'm civilised and have no antisocial or illegal habits. I'm clean and quiet living yet reasonably social (though not really into big or loud group situations generally). My background is telecommunications technical support but I'm currently doing warehouse/delivery type work. I enjoy art house movies, support most "progressive" things though I'm not an eco-zealot or "lefty" per se (though I'm not "right wing" either) . Prefer not to live with persons working from home (not enough personal space balance for me). I like a balance between personal space and company.
