I am a 27 years old Software Engineer working full time in Fitzroy. I sing in a latin music band called Amazonics and I love dancing Salsa and Bachata. I am friendly, tidy and respectful. I don't smoke. I am usually busy, but I am always keen for some drinks, cook together, outdoor activity, movie, etc. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
My name is Ally, I am 31 and work Mon-Fri as a policy advisor for the State Government. I am queer and passionate about social justice and equality. I am very active and like to bike ride, go to the gym, surf and also play women's AFL during winter. I am clean, friendly, respectful and enjoy a whisky. I am vegetarian who controversially (depending on who you are) eats seafood. I come with a Burmese cat called Peggy who is 14 years old and extremely cuddly and more dog like than cat like (meaning she won't judge you or your life choices). I have some furniture that I have collected over the years that I would ideally like to bring with me. I am hoping to find a home with other young professionals who are LGBTI friendly, Left leaning and share similar values to myself.
Oh hey all, My name is Rachel I'm a 30yo full time theatre nurse. I've been back in Melbourne for about 8 months after traveling and doining the old run away and work in Canada thing. These days I split my work time between RMH and St Kilda. Although it is technically shift work my hours are pretty social, no weekends or night duty. Im a clean and tidy person and my down time is all about finding a healthy work/ life balance. Aka a little bit sleep in, a little bit gym, a dash or chores a side of life admin and a healthy portion of socialising with whoever is about. And if no ones about- I go out. Straight, LGBT friendly, no dietry requirments, respects others, loves a chat and a laugh, sometimes I do puzzels or macrame with a glass of wine and cheese platter. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your weekend- cheers Rach.

Hi! I'm a full-time student studying Landscape Architecture at RMIT. I hosted on Airbnb with 4.6 rating and was living in a shared accommodation for 2 years. Sharing accommodation is something I always do therefore I am highly trained to be a housemate. I always kept my place pristine and well decorated. I'm a plant and garden enthusiast so I'll make an excellent housemate especially for you green-thumbers. During a semester I spent my time mostly working on my assignments. Enjoy drinks and chat. I am a non-smoker but would smoke occasionally in a social setting (420 friendly). Last but not least I f-ing love pets (especially dogs)!
I am a kind, friendly and considerate housemate. I am looking for share accommodation in, or around, Clifton Hill. With me comes Miranda, who despite being only 10 years old, would make a wonderful housemate for any discerning adult! A quiet, polite kid who likes to draw and play video games. We also have Link, a beautiful and clever ragdoll cat. Although an unconventional package, we're really quite nice! Thanks, Jane.
Hi there :-) I'm Sophie, I'm a 30 year old, British, ESL teacher. I've lived in Melbourne for a year now and I love it and i'm staying for at least one more year. I'm a very chilled, easy going person. I consider myself friendly and sociable. I love a G and T in the back garden sunshine but I also enjoy a quiet night in watching Broadcity or what ever else i'm obsessed with at the time. When I can I try to watch live comedy and watch a gig with my mates. I don't crazy party every weekend but I love a good boogy now and then. I'm currently trying to see as much of Australia as I can, so I'm trying to see stuff on weekends and hike where possible. I also cook pretty mean Vietnamese pancakes! I'm looking for a similar vibe. i'd love to live in a mixed house with people mid 20's onwards. I'm very easy going and liberal so happy to live with anyone from any walk of life. Also I love cats and dogs so that's cool too :-)
Looking for a relaxed household to join. I recently finished my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) (History, Politics, English, Humanities) in July this year. I am currently working as a casual relief teacher and as an out of school hours carer/educator. I have also secured a full-time teaching position which starts in the new school year at the end of January 2018 - so I'm looking for somewhere a bit closer to school. I tend to keep myself pretty busy during the week! But when I do have spare time on the weekends I like to go out socialising, see live music, go to the cinema etc. or relax at home with a book, Netflix, or cook, ride my bike, day trip/road trip etc. All of the usual stuff.
Hello, I am looking for a happy household to join for at least a year or so. I don't have pets of my own, but am an animal lover. Non-smoker, but don't mind living with outside smokers, am clean, tidy, friendly and organised. I work full-time as an editor and writer, learn Italian, love music, eat healthily, and get out for a long walk down along the river nearly every day. I enjoy going out with friends, having people over for a meal occasionally, and am busy with several writing projects outside of work. I am looking for somewhere that stays fairly cool in summer, and quiet at night, so not too close to main streets. Look forward to hearing from you!
We are an easy-going couple trying to get used to Australian culture and settle down in Melbourne . We choose flatsharing because we like to know different cultures and people . We love cooking from different kind of cuisines and share . Also , we are a little bit obsessive about hygiene we love to live with same kind of people who are sensitive about cleanliness. We are very hardworking couple who love spending time both at outside and house environment. See you soon ! :)
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
Hey flatmates i’m From Brighton, England. I’m easy going and chilled out. Enjoy meeting new people and hearing there story. Currently employed in Melbourne and working remotely from UK. I also enjoy reading and working out and concentrating on business. I am going back home for Christmas and the new year so seeking to secure a place before I leave. Hope you can help. Cheers
Hi there! My names Holly I'm 23 and a very down to earth, friendly, clean and respectful person looking to find a place to stay here in Melbourne. I'm currently venturing away from home and excited for this next chapter. I work as a fashion model and do promotional work but I'm also looking for something else part time. My interests include watching movies, eating out, going for walks (I love to exercise) and going to the dog park (I don't have a dog but I like to pet the other dogs). I'm quite social but also enjoy my time alone and giving everyone the space they need. I'm always up for a drink and a chat. I enjoy cleaning and tend to automatically tidy up around me. I do my dishes and won't play loud music at 2am or cause any trouble. I'm super friendly and just looking to live with a nice bunch (or couple) of people I can get to know and become good friends with. The only real downside to me is my Gluten intolerance but that means more delicious bread and beer for everyone else haha.
Urgently seeking a room preferably in the city or surrounds. I’m a very tidy housemate and enjoy being around new people! I'm very easy to live with and respect other housemates privacy. Currently working part time and I'm currently studying full time. :)
Just finished my studies and newly qualified as a Naturopath. Relocating back after 10 years in Queensland. Into sustainable, non toxic living, organic food (I do eat some meat, though not a lot), yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food. I do fun stuff like make my own bone broth, I have a zoodle maker, slow cooker and a cold press juicer to share! I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic and a little bit silly sometimes :) Even though my full on party days are well behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh. Looking forward to sharing a home with a like minded person. We can possibly share cooking and shopping duties but not really fussed. Would love someone I can sit around and have a natter with over a cup of tea. I share care of my 6 year old son 50/50. So would have him several nights in the week, some weekends and school holidays. He is like me and is a quiet, thoughtful, gentle, social soul. He plays quietly with lego a lot or we are out playing in the park. He gets on well with other kids and adults alike. I'm sure he would embrace the company. I also have an 11 year old dog (kelpie x lab x ridgeback as per my profile shot) that I would dearly love to have with me. But understand if can't. But she is great, gentle company, a great guard dog and you generally wouldn't even notice she was there.
Hi there, I'm a pretty chilled guy who works a lot and is going for his second degree. I like keeping to myself and working on my music but I won't say no to beer and dinner. In general I'm really easy going. I can happily live among quiet people but I can also coop with noisy ones as well. Not great writing about myself so any extra info you need, drop me a line and I'll be happy to reply. Cheers, Raf
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Originating from Brisbane I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover, house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Currently working as a PM/Estimator (Mon-Fri) while looking to further myself within the electrical industry. I am always down for a hang and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Good luck with the hunt!
Hey I'm Ronaldo, I'm 26 and I work full-time at a bank (Don't hate me) and part time as an arm chair therapist. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, good music, a few drink and some casual get rich quick schemes. I would generally like to move in with a tidy creative open minded bunch, possibly people who could help me improve my cooking skills of which I have none. Side note: dates and duration are flexible. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Alex here. I'm writing my PhD in international relations and tutoring undergrads at Uni of Melbourne. I am from the UK/ NZ and have lived in Australia for 2 years. I am looking for a long-term place to call home. Something 6 months+ (preferably 1 year +) in a Melbourne inner-city suburb is ideal. The inner north suburbs are my favourite, but I'm open to other areas, too. I'd like to be able to walk or bike ride to the university campus within 20 minutes. A bit about me: I like films/ cinema outings, reading, learning Arabic, hiking, camping, wine, beer, cheese... I enjoy conversations about politics/ IR, sociology, psychology, science, films, books - most things, really! My schedule can be kind of ridiculous - particularly during teaching periods - so I'm sadly not the best fit if you are wanting to create a *very* social house, but can still commit to 2-3 evenings a week for housie activities. I'd be happiest living with like-minded people who are politically progressive, working, and 25 years+. Bonus if you would be up for the ocassional cinema/gig/comedy outing or going hiking together! I'd be extremely happy to live with a dog. Admin-y things: I'm a non-smoker, financially secure, good with kids, very dog friendly but allergic to cats. I own bedroom furniture already. I also travel interstate and overseas fairly regularly for work and to visit my family.
Hi! I'm Miriam, I’m 24 and I’ve just graduated from university. Currently living in Heidelberg, I’d like to move closer to the city and I’m looking for a socialable but respectful household. I enjoy spending time with my housemates over dinner, wine, movie nights etc but I also need my downtime to myself sometimes. So I’m definitely more looking for a home than just a place to sleep. I’m a pretty active and socialable person and I like to catch up with my friends over dinner, drinks or go on a night out. I’ve lived in houseshares for a few years now, and I know how to clean after myself but also don’t go crazy over a small mess as long as it’s not permanent. My current lease is over mid February and ideally I’d be moving between early and mid Feb. I have some furniture (couch, TV, some pots and pans and dishes, and my own bedroom furniture) which I can either contribute or sell. I’d like to find one or two people (preferably girls) to start a new household with or join in their place.
Full time creative/comms agency professional, Kiwi, creative, considerate, good with plants and pets, fun, language lover, social innovation, green tech, permaculture, crypto currencies, start-ups, respectful, musical, artistic, coffee snob (because we can be), wine snob (because we must be), love cooking, active in pursuing my passions, want to salsa more, yoga and meditation, couldn't live without my besties, in a relationship, enjoys the comedy of life... looking for flatmates who love and chase life, don't mind if your fringey or weird - that's where all the interesting things happen - just as long as you're cool with it too. :) For the last 18 months I've been based on a remote indigenous island community in Northern Territory, East Arnhem Land. I've been living on Elcho Island for two year with my partner now, working as comms, fundraising and sponsorship manager for a charity improving nutritional education for the indigenous (Yolngu) people. It's been incredible, and perhaps we'll return, but for now we need to grab a turmeric-almond-milk-avo-latte and get some city life for the foreseeable future. I've lived in Melbs for fours years before this so looking forward to returning on the 19th of November - currently on route back to Melbs. NB Looking for both individual and couple rooms. NZ School of Music Certificate of Jazz Guitar Bachelor Degree in Business (Marketing, HR) Bachelor Degree in (Psychology) Permaculture Design Certificate & Complete Urban Farmer Cert (CEREs)
Hey i'm Laurence and I am from Canada! I can share my awesome personality and good humour with everyone and am very easy to get along with. I am a clean and tidy person and am very social but can also keep to myself. Just moved to Melbourne and am looking to stay for the long run in the end, up for meeting new friends and having all sorts of fun! I would like to live with awesome people that are open-minded, easy going, and fun just like I am. Back in Canada I own my own apartment and am a part owner of an established business. Right now I am looking to experience more of the world and I believe Melbourne is going to be the spot for me for the next two years to settle down and see what this amazing place has to offer! Looking forward to hearing from you! Laurence
