Hi my name is Hector, and I work in media. I'm a pretty fun-loving, social and caring person who is always up for a good laugh. I'm respectful of others and know what it's like to live with other people. I'm pretty quiet most of the week but also love to have a casual drink with good company. I bring plenty of good banter to any conversation and would be a great addition to any squad!
After trying to become Muay Thai fighters // totally ripped bodybuilders in Thailand (to not much success, food over there is too good and too cheap), we are coming to Melbourne around March 20th. Nana worked as a civil engineer in Brisbane for the last couple of years and Pia is in Human Resources and likes to occasionally bribe people with delicious German treats. We're both 25 years old and have lived in a lot of share houses over the years. Ideally, we're looking to live with other young professionals who appreciate coming home to a clean house. Although we are past our party days, we like to socialise and watch live music. We are flexible with dates, as we are looking for the right place to call home.
Hey guys, I'm a 23 year old kiwi who's permanently relocating to Melbourne after two years in London. I'm arriving on the 6th of march and will be starting my new job (full time) that week, so would love to find a place in the next couple of weeks or so. I'm a big sports nut, and will never say no to a few beersies and activities on the weekend, so i'm on the hunt for a social household and a good bunch of people to live with. Preferred areas would be st kilda, CBD, south yarra, windsor e.t.c. but i'm really open to anything south of Brunswick /Clifton hill. Ideal budget around 200 per week for private room, but happy to pay up to 250 including bills. Open to teaming up to find a place with others as well. Cheers!
Shelley and I are two friends originally from Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers of NSW. We both work full time in hospitality, I am a cocktail bartender and Shelley is a cook. We have known each other for years, we met through our mutual interest in viking history and re-enactment and we often fire twirl and perform together! I am also interested in carpentry and set design, I'm currently working on refurbishing my own 10m sailing yacht and Shelley is a silversmith. We are looking for a sharehouse where we can have some space to stretch out, with a backyard and shed/garage to store tools and do some work. We're both environmentally and sustainably focussed, Shelley is vegetarian and I centre my diet around sustainability. We both enjoy having friends over for nice dinners and drinks (I love practicing my job at home) and I often host board game/movie nights coupled with refreshing cocktails!
I love to go out for dinners with close friends, love movies and cooking occasionally. I'm tidy and respectful of communal places and expecting the same qualities. I'm kind person, with an easy going attitude and easy to be around. I am accommodating to others so long as the same respect is reciprocated. I'd love to arrange for an inspection. Cheers
Laid back, tidy, respectful student studying nutrition, working part time in a cafe. Health conscious, active, vegan
Hey I'm Kylie! I'm 29 and have just returned from living in London for two years! I love to travel, catch up with friends and family, shop, eat brunch and enjoy long walks and Pilates. I work in retail. I'm a down to earth Aussie girl who loves to have a chat!!
Hi Guys, Did you know I am good pals with the local (Fitzroy) bottle shop and can often get a dollar off every wine? Other than enjoying a great priced vino, I live my days leading the way in education (or trying my very best) and having a good laugh. I am a creature of habit and usually spend weekdays working hard and trying to maintain some kind of fitness. I like a clean and tidy home and like to live an environmentally conscious life. The weekends I like live music, coffee and hanging with my pals. Thanks for reading and hopefully hear from you soon. Elise :) P.S I am an animal lover, especially doggos!
Hi there, with many years of sharehouse experience I can gel with people of all walks of life. I am a hard worker that loves a clean house. I am exceptionally reliable with paying my share. I love to cook, I love to paint, I am a drummer with passion (but won't play in the house). I love travel and photography. I am quite social but also like my time to myself.
Currently living near the city in a sharehouse - all in our mid 20s. Our landlord is selling the place soon though, so I'm looking for a new place to live! Looking to move late March or early April. About me: Snowboarder/skier/lawyer/craft beer enthusiast - there are many words that I could use to tell you about myself, but those are the ones that spring to mind first! I'm a lawyer working in the CBD full time. In my free time I enjoy outdoor sports - I spend a lot of my weekends at the snow during winter. This summer I've been hiking and camping often. I'm a clean, tidy person who is pretty easy to live with. Getting along with my housemates is very important to me - while we don't have to be best friends, I don't want to feel like we're merely people co-occupying the same place! Fun tidbit about myself - after I finished uni and before I started full time work, I went travelling in the US for 4 months. I travelled around the western states skiing and snowboarding - I made it to 30 ski resorts while I was there! I gained a lot of life experience on this trip and learned a lot about myself.
I've just moved to Melbourne to start my postgrad in Environment at the University of Melbourne. I loooove this place and am so happy to be here! I am spiritual, clean and tidy, an artist and designer, I like to socialise but also dedicate my time to reading, learning and creating. I make socks and I care for the environment :::) Preferred length of stay ~6 months or 1+ year~
Hey! I'm Andrew, just moved to Melbourne for university at La trobe, studying business. Love a laugh and being social over a drink or two, or going out once in a while for a night on the town. At the same time i enjoy having me time and just having a night watching netflix in my pjs with a block of chocolate. If you would like to know anymore just let me know. Open for a longer stay also :)
Hi there! I'm Saskia, I work full time as a graduate Interior Architect. I'm a pretty down to earth relaxed type. Due to full time work, I'm usually out of the house during the week, but if I'm around in the evenings I'm up for the occasional meal and chat. On the weekends I tend to catch up with friends, go away for short weekend trips down to the Otways or visit family. Here's a little more of what I'm into! - A good haul of organic veggies - Hiking - Not a massive party girl, but enjoy good company over a beer - Comedy Central - Dogs - A good read If you have any other questions let me know :)
Heya. I'm a student-turning-yuppie looking for a year long roomshare or more. I'm finishing my degree in IT and work part-time in an experience design startup. We do cool stuff with the Internet of Things (think smarthomes and fridges that talk to you). I'm more of a designer than computer nerd though. I like plants, film, and cycling. Selling points for me as a roomie? As much as it pains me to type this, in my last sharehouse, I was the one that generally did the dishes. NOTE: DO NOT EXPLOIT (please) I like scrounging up my own furniture if you don't have any - not fussy with this kinda thing. Pet project in the works: design and build some origami cardboard furniture (only if need be!) Like this guy: http://foldtheory.com/ Also, I have a projector which I'm happy to share. Sup?
hi im 29 yo part time student and work full time as a chef My free time usually goes to catching up with friends, bars ,restaurants, movies or just some quiet time. Looking for an easy-going environment, with people who do like to make a house a home and have nice conversations over a glass of wine or share dinners every so often ., but also respect that people have their own lives to live and considerate to others personal space
Hi, my name is Jay. I currently reside in Canberra but I am hoping to make the move to Melbourne in the coming months. A bit about myself: 28, single. I am a great person to share with! This is because I've house shared before and I've been through the usual trials and tribulations that present themselves in all house sharing situations. With that experience, I have come out on the other side unscathed and with a respect for others and their personal space. I work full-time Mon - Fri and usually spend my weekends exploring, attempting to get fit at the gym, countering the gym with greasy takeaway food, naps, PlayStation and bar and event hopping in hopes of meeting new and interesting people. What I am looking for: I am looking for a private room in a share house with 1 to 2 other housemates. However, if you would like to consider me for a team-up I'm open to that! I am hoping to find others who are respectful, clean and great to live with. Age, sexual orientation, gender and the like are no concerns for me. Just be yourself and we will probably get along! So with that said if you are seeking somebody who pays their share of the rent and bills on time, who isn't argumentive and loves escalating a joke beyond its limits then I'm your guy!
Hi there! I have spent last two years travelling in Australia and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
My name is Teresa, I am from Germany originally and have been living in Australia since March last year. I`m looking for some lovely people to live with who don`t mind doing things together occasionally as a household, and would enjoy going out for a beer or watching a movie together. That being said I love to have time to myself, watching a movie or reading. So having some alone time is important as well. I`m house trained and have lots of share house experience. I`m Vegetarian (trying to be as vegan as possible), but I don`t wave flags about it. LGBT friendly, pet friendly. I`m big into movies, coffee and art as well as road trips and exploring. Please feel free to contact me!
François and I are clean, fun, we love talking and meeting new people, but we can be very quiet if you need some "space". We love reading, François loves writing, learning new languages, I love cooking and baking!! We are in Australia since 5 months and we want to come in Melbourne to discover this city , meeting new nice people and working to save some money and continue our trip!!

I love getting away and all things travel related, art, tea, baking, films, music, keeping active, the outdoors and good food with friends. Somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a house and where the housemates enjoy having a chat at the end of the day or sharing a meal every now and then etc. I am a very tidy person and value a clean home so I am looking for housemates who are the same and share the cleaning. I am pretty busy during the week so would prefer a place where weeknights are fairly quiet. If these sound like the things you value too then I'd love to hear from you!

I am a fun-loving 27-year-old professional from Melbourne looking to either fill a vacant room or team up with others to start something new. I am very easy going - I have a social, vivacious and spontaneous personality and enjoy cooking and/or catching up with housemates over a good tv show or drink. Yet, I am also very considerate of others' space and enjoy my own to unwind here and there. My profession is in the sciences but I enjoy anything creative in my own time; namely painting, reading and listening to alllllll sorts of music/going to gigs etc. I try to live a very active, healthy lifestyle and am a massive foodie so enjoy going out with friends regularly to check out new spots. I also adore anything adventurous outdoors and trying new things/learning from others' interests and knowledge. I am neat and tidy by nature and proactive with cleaning as I appreciate living in a clean space. Please PM me if this sounds like you!! Liv
Relocated to Melbourne from New Zealand 2 years ago. Currently working casually at several jobs, including one for City of Darebin. I regularly dance, swim and walk. I like to discover new places and people as well as quiet time to myself. I meditate daily and do 10 minutes of yoga stretching in the mornings. I'm involved with Melbourne Spoken Word poetry and regularly attend poetry and music gigs. I like books, libraries and reading too. I'm not a TV junkie - can take or leave it, so I'm something of a creative intellectual as well as being quite sociable. I work pretty hard also. I regularly house and pet sit for people because I love animals. That also means there are periods when I'm not home.
I'm a friendly, outgoing and social professional who works in international trade. I am looking to live with a likeminded person or two who enjoys cooking, eating out, exercise, travel and most importantly wine. I'm also tidy :)
Elin, 25. Very easy going and chilled person, social, open minded and friendly. Loves to write, share a cup of coffee or wine with friends or go for beers in pubs, hang out in parks, all kind of markets, cooking vegetarian/vegan food. Works in a cafe in Fitzroy! :)
I'm a non smoker and non drinker. I'm considerate to live with , always tidy. I work full time and study part time so I'm out a lot . I am kind, friendly and easygoing

The flowiest of Flo's. From Scotland. I'm very relaxed, calm, and easy to get along with. I like to appreciate life at a slow and steady pace. I'm a chef, so very much enjoy getting funky in the kitchen. I like sharing and a good sence of community. I spend most of my free time outside, meandering, or writing lists of newly discovered bands or recipes. I like the occasional bevy and boogie, keen to explore Melbourne's night life scene a little more. I love music and listen to alot, I like most genres, apart from the heavy metal angry shouty stuff. Give me some Bonobo any day 👌 I love cleaning, this may sound weird to some but it's a serious passion, there's nothing better than a day of cleaning and tunes! I'm very compassionate and I love a good chat, I always help people when I can. I'm very honest and have high morals. I have lived in an array of different shared accommodation previously and I have pure and fond memories of each and every experience.
Hey future housemates, I am a sharehouse fan, I have lived in Melbourne with 2-5 other people for the last 5 years. I like to share a meal together now and then and do my own thing sometimes, whatever really. I work full-time in the city Monday-Friday and spend a fair bit of time on road trips/out of the house on weekends. Hobby-wise I am a coffee obsessive, and will likely have one in my hand when I'm at home! I am a pretty clean person and am happy to keep the house as tidy as everyone feels like. That's about it really, looking forward to meeting you! Tom
Hello, I'm Salamata (Saly), 22 years and I am a French girl. I work at Austin Hospital in Heidelberg Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 5. I practice Athletisme at Melbourne Uni three times a week and like adventure and sport. I am a respectful and an organize girl but still like the none plan stuff, socializing and having fun ^^. I would enjoy living with all sort of people, I am looking for social housemate who are open for chat.
Hi, I'm 26 years old, originally from Perth but have been in Melbourne for 3 years and I am not going anywhere anytime soon. I am a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne part-time (at the moment 4 days/week, 9-5 hours). I am also in the second year of my PhD in law/journalism, which means I spend a lot of time at the university but may be studying from home occasionally. I'm into yoga, running, reading, brunching and trying out the billions of restaurants/bars with friends. I also love travelling and seeing the outskirts of Melbourne. I keep pretty busy, but enjoy my quiet "hibernation" time every so often. I would love to live in a place where we can share a drink and a meal, instead of circling around each other. I am very clean, respectful of others space, on time with bills and take pride in my home.
I love to cook, read and play the occasional board game with willing housemates as well as going on adventures (mainly to creep on puppers at the dog park or lying in the sun at the Abbotsford convent.) I don't smoke and I'm a rare but occasional drinker, although I will always get around a Riesling or any Spanish red and I do make mean whiskey sours and earl grey cocktails 🍹 I also love all kinds of tea, but really get around China jasmine or earl grey! Ideally I'm looking for a home that I can nurture and that will allow me to have quiet times to study as well as good boogies when everyone else is down for one! I respect the space of the people I live with and expect that same, but I also want to live with people I feel comfortable being around! 😌😌😌 P.s I can provide you with other info, such as housemate references, my tinder profile, school reports dating back to the early 2000s and/ or my resume, if you're keen 😎 TL;DR - Looking for home in inner north - Student - Can and will cook delicious things for you - Love to boogie - Please let me live with you
Hey all, I have a place till the 20th of march but can move in earlier. I'm at uni full time and work random shift when Im not. Hello, I have recently moved to Melbourne with my work in automotive finance. I have a little dog by the name of Bruno who is a King Charles Cav x Jack Russell who is absolutely adorable and fully toilet trained.
My name is Laurent, I am 22 years old and all my teeth, I come to discover the wines and atmosphere and landscapes Autralien, I am restaurateur and more precisely wine waiter by profession. And as a good Frenchman I cook well apparently. I am very respectful of the rules and very clean, very open minded I adapt very easily, I am good to live! Cheers
Hey I'm 22 and have just moved from Perth. I've lived in sharehouses for the past 5 years, and am really clean and easygoing. I study naturopathy full time and work part time.
Originally from Perth but been in Melbourne for 2 years and think of it as home now! Just finished a film degree so love film-making and watching films as well as being creative in general and making clothes, jewellery etc… also do pole and burlesque dancing. Love drinking wine and going out to gigs and art shows and all that but keep things pretty chill when I'm at home and am respectful of the other people I live with. Really hoping to find a place where I can be friends with the people I live with and make it feel like home. Bonus if you have pets!
Hi I'm Chantal, I'm from Melbourne, I love alcohol but I'm not a huge partier as I do work nights - I work as a cocktail Bartender in Fitzroy, I love my job so much I'm wanting to move closer for it. I've worked in hospitality for over 7 years so I'm trained to be a bit of a neat freak - there will never be a worry about my cleanliness. I've lived out of home for about 3 years now so I understand how it all works and am house trained. I'm a quite person, I work night shift (my past room mates rarely noticed when I was actually home) - I'm not much of a partier because of work but I do enjoy a beverage or few and have a great alcohol collection. I enjoy focussing on my health and fitness, I love cooking and going to the gym and reading.
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
Hey! me and my girlfriend are looking for a place to live , we are recently arrived in melbourne and staying in a house in richmond at the moment, but we like it more in St Kilda or any of the northern part of Melbourne for its vibe. We both quite like music, and are pretty creative, thats why we came to melbourne. I work in a cheese shop in the prahran market and my girlfriend is starting work in hospitality as well, we are both respectful, tidy and easygoing. I am from chile by the way and she is from the US , and we are planning on staying in Melbourne for a while, i will personally be most of the time either at work, or out doing workshops ( i plan on taking some music making lessons and photography and maybe cooking and dancing ) , and my girlfriend too, so we would be home mostly for the relaxing part, i quite film as well so i enjoy watching movies and reading, watching documentaries, etc. So thats more or less our plan for Melbourne and if we have the time for it probably going for little nature trips on the weekends if i get to fix my camper van. Well anyways if its still possible to make a visit and you feel like it we would be intrested so just hit me back ! Thanks.

Hello :) my lease is up in Windsor and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond as I'm so over the insane traffic around Windsor!! I'm a professional employed full time (have my own business), very fun but equally hard working, clean and reliable. Excellent with money and happy to take over looking after the bills as I currently do. I pay rent early and I'm very house proud. I need a large bedroom with built in cupboards, preferably with an ensuite if a three bedroom house. I don't eat meat at home but I do have a kitten so you need to be okay with meat in the fridge for her. I'm animal crazy and I'd love to live with people that have a backyard, hopefully a veggie garden or room for me to plant one. I'm spiritual in the sense of believing in treating others well and putting out positive energy into the world. No negativity thanks! I have a new couch, amazing fridge and LG washing machine which I need to bring with me. I have awesome kitchen gadgets too! Cold press juicing anyone? ;) I will also be bringing my 2 yr old GSP dog for weekend visits so you need to love dogs as he's a rescue and very sensitive. He needs to be around people that have amazing energy and love animals! I need off street parking please. Unless your place is close to Burnley St then I'll leave my car at work. Or if anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for a friend rather than just a flatmate.
Oi there ! My name is Lindsay and I am a 25 year old Canadian Registered Nurse seeking longer term accommodation come April. A bit about myself; - I am a clean, respectful & tidy - very social & outgoing - avid coffee lover - looking to meet new people & mingle - love health & fitness, exploring & the outdoors Currently looking to find two bedrooms in a place for myself and my amazing roomie Jono whose bio & link can be found here ; **Just to clarify, we are NOT seeking couples accommodation :) About Jono: Snowboarder/skier/lawyer/craft beer enthusiast - there are many words that I could use to tell you about myself, but those are the ones that spring to mind first! I'm a lawyer working in the CBD full time. In my free time I enjoy outdoor sports - I spend a lot of my weekends at the snow during winter. This summer I've been hiking and camping often. Hi there! I'm looking for a new share house to move into :) I am a 21 year old student studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Pathology, at the University of Melbourne. I hope to pursue a career in forensic science one day. I have 3 part time jobs; one at a bakery, one at a creperie at unimelb, and I also work as a barista in Emporium. When I'm not studying or working, I like exploring local cafes, restaurants and bars, catching up with friends, cooking and watching various tv shows (true crime docos are my fave). I'm fairly independent but I'm always up for a meal/a few drinks with housemates. I have previous share house experience and I'm very reliable and organised. I always pay rent on time, if not early, and I value cleanliness in the house. I'm hoping to find somewhere closeish to shops so I can ride my bicycle, and not too far from the city so I don't spend too much time on public transport, as I don't drive. I am travelling to India and Nepal in February and so I am looking to find a place to move into when I get back, however my move-in date is flexible. If you have a room available that sounds like what I'm looking for and if you think I'd fit in with your household, please feel free to message me :)
Hi! My name is Janina and I am from Vienna, Austria. I am studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne. I would consider myself easy going and uncomplicated. I like to cook and I have a passion for baking, so one of the perks of living with me might be coming home to freshly baked cupcakes or cookies. :) I would like to live in a place where everyone gets along well, but also respects the others privacy, kind of a - it is great to hang out together at night but it is also cool if we just stay in our rooms sometimes. I have family in Geelong, so I might stay over there some weekends.
I am a 26 year old English teacher. I work full time, and am a clean and considerate housemate. I love to cook, garden and read. I am also into film and music. I like hanging out and sharing a meal or a drink but am quite happy to do my own thing as well. Looking for a relaxed house with likeminded people.
Hi, I am Owais, working full time as an engineer and I am in my 30s, I have been living in Northcote from last one year and looking for something nearby , I am pretty familiar with the area. I am easy going and knows how to take care of myself and others around me. I am learning to play guitar, love camping, always up for movie nights, huge fan of good documentaries, trying to learn to swim too these days so I have a lot on my plate at the moment. I hope to see you lovely people and probably get to live with you .
Hi, I'm a student about to go into my second year of my bachelor of fine arts. As a housemate I'm generally very quiet and clean, but love cooking (not just for myself but for others). I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Also, I come with many houseplants. I'd love to live with other people involved in the arts, or other students but this isn't a necessity!
I am Sean. I'm 24 and I am about to start my Masters in Public Policy at Melbourne Uni. I am also working full time in the education sector. I consider myself a very reliable person. I am considerate and respectful. I would also consider myself fun! I enjoy a nice glass of red and a good chat! My interests are politics, the arts (particularly classical music) and tennis. I also enjoy a bit of rock n roll. In my home town Sydney I was in a rock n roll band so I do sing to myself occasionally! Any requests? I hope to meet some like minded people in a good share house.
Hi I'm Victoria from Argentina, I´m thirty years old and I'm a student. I'm cheerful, communicative and respectful. Will be living in Melbourne for the next 8 months. I'm looking for a private room in a share house.
Are you in need of a housemate? A friend? Maybe just some random who will offer to make you tea each night? Hi, you might remember me from, 'has Cameron got his wallet?' 'Where's his phone?' 'Yep, he missed his flight again.' ... I cook the worlds best spag bol. theres no joke there. I like beer, wine and tea -but never at once. Im clean and dream of a minialist lifestyle, but then, Im always fighting the inner voice of "you can't throw that out. Mum gave you this ugly and utterly useless ornamental pot with no function from Vietnam and one day she might come by -even though she hasn't in two years- and know that its gone!" I work and study like most average joes. Easy going, out going, clean. (Mum was also the type who made us meticulously scrub the toilets before the cleaner came.. rubber gloves and all) ..Please don't let me become my mother. My sublets ending and looking for a permanent home north of the river, collingwood, fitzroy, carlton, clifton hill even richmond ect ect. 170-230p/w. I'd stay south for the right house down here. Easy going, fun and friendly looking for cool liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
