Hey! I'm looking for a home to dream at night. My current housemate and friend is moving to London. so I am now looking to share my condiments and beers with some new pals. Due to recently turning old (30), I find myself on the lookout for somewhere somewhat "adult", but also chill and affordable. Natural light, space, plants, semi-organised – you know. Ideally looking to share with 2/3 others in a cute house with a yard for Summer ahhhhs. Fitzroy North, Northcote and Clifton Hill are in my heart zone. Would also consider Fitzroy, Carlton or North Melb. Open to teaming up for a new lease too. I'm from Melbourne originally and I spend my days working on graphic design projects. I’m into kind people, happy gatherings, checking out galleries and gigs, bike riding, fun fitness, cooking, travel… the pursuit of a balanced lifestyle in general. Currently working from a studio in the CBD and as a contractor for a few different companies. Varied routine, but can assure reliability when it comes to paying rent on time and being a considerate, clean and easy going housemate. Always up for hangs and am equally mindful of sharing the space and respecting down time. I come with a washing machine (if needed), plant babes and a friendly as tude. Looking forward to meeting you. Lauren
I work nights, so I do not 'live' in my room as some housemates may, I am social and like to potter around the house, I cook so if I am not at work or sleeping I might be in the kitchen making something. I am easy going and looking to rent a room that I can call home and enjoy living in, I am clean and tidy and responsible. I am also interested in starting up a place of my own if I can find anyone that is interested in renting with me and willing to share the bills equally.
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
I'm a full-time student of Unimelb and a single mother with a kid, going to ballet classes after school. Busy during the week and love outdoors on the weekend. Also I teach Russian. I'm looking for a female flatmate with a kid too or just loving children. Usually my daughter is cheerful and not noisy at all. We're excited about moving to a new place (and the country) to explore it.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 12 November. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
Hello, nice to meet you! My name is David and I´m 29 years old. I just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to stay in a long term. I am working and studying part time – pretty busy week but love to chill out on the weekends or get out for a few drinks and whatever else the city has to offer. I am a very active and easy going person looking for a place to call home.
After one year living in Melbourne, we went to India for an awesome month and a half, where I was doing a yoga teacher training course and Xisco was traveling around and discovering the country. Now we are heading back, our jobs are waiting for us, and we are going to stay at least two more years in Melbourne. I'm an interior designer and Xisco works for an online school. We are easy going people, working full time and with lots of projects in mind. Very busy people but also, always open for a glass of wine and a chat. We have been sharing apartment in Melbourne and in different cities since 2009 so we know how people like to be treated and the do & don't. We are food lovers and our Spanish background make us very good cookers. Are you ready for Sunday paella? Please, let us know if you are interested in meeting us. Thanks for your time :)
We are the perfect couple, very relaxed and easy going. We are from Venezuela, South America (we have the latin flavor, trust us). We love cooking (we haven't had a proper Aussie BBQ yet), drink some beverage (tea, coffee, wine, beer or rum), have conversations, watch Netflix and share stories from time to time. We are very, very clean and we would like the soon-to-be our roommate exactly the same. Cheers!
Hi! I'm Nicola. I'm a marketing professional and musician and I work three days a week (M-W) plus from home one day and I gig on the weekends (jazz) so I'm pretty busy. I'm clean, easy going, considerate and vegetarian. Looking to share with one other female around a similar age in the Clifton Hill, Fitzroy North area.
Hola hola! This is Pablo, a 26yo interior designer/architect from Spain who recently moved back to Melbourne (already lived here 2 years ago). I just started a Project Management course and also will be working part time so.. busy times ahead! I'm currently at a friend's room so im in the hunt of a proper place to move in as I will stay here for a considerable length of time. Last time I lived in Fitzroy (Bell St) and loved it so that's why im looking around this area, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Carlton are also convenient for me! I'm super easy going, responsable and tidy so if you guys think I could fit as your future housemate and you feel like meeting me in person PLEASE contact me! :) _Ps: I love cooking so I offer myself to make either paella or any Spanish meals anytime you want! :) :) Cheeeers!
Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm in search of a long term share house for me and my cat, Dexter. 😊 I'm 22 and working full time as a barista in Northcote. I'm social but quite shy - the cat is much the same. I enjoy a good sci fi movie, hardcore gigs and smashed avo on toast. I'm a social drinker but not a big party girl. I like making home cooked meals and having a glass of wine or two in front of the tv 👌 Looking for a mature household with likeminded people. I am a very clean, organised and considerate person looking to be a friendly addition to your home. I understand people may be put off my the cat. I'm happy to pay for a pet bond and will bring Dexter for a housemate meet and greet. He's great with other cats but not so great with big dogs. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hoping to find some friendly people to live with. I am a 25 year old guy working full time in the city in customer service. Originally from Tassie and been in Melbourne about a year now so still love exploring the city and trying new places to eat/drink etc. Would love some housemates who would also be keen to do things like this. Spend most of my weekends out and about going on roadtrips and bushwalks and looking around Victoria. I am fully house trained and have lived in lots of different share house situations before. I know how to tidy up after myself and always have back up supplies of toilet paper ready to go! Looking to spend no more than round $230 a week for somewhere nice. A yard would be great but understand that can be a bit hard to find in Melb
Looking to move out December or early March. I like to cook and bake. There will always be a few muffins/banana cake slices to spare for my housemates. I like to live in a clean house with someone and will always leave the kitchen the same way in which I found it. I am also very quiet and appreciate my personal space so will respect yours and know how to give you space as well.
Hello! I'm looking for a furnished single room in Melbourne, preferably in a suburb close to public transport and to the CBD. I will arrive there by mid November as an overseas immigrant. I'm an easygoing, respectful, tidy and clean person. I enjoy chitchatting but also respect everyone's privacy and space. Cheers
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.

Enjoy cooking, hiking, health and fitness, reading, quiet time, watching sports (afl, nrl, V8, UFC, tennis just to name a few favs. Love music, having interesting conversations, martial arts, Qi Gong, meditation, laid back, open minded, have a sensor of human, Eat organic, no I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I could be interested in short term accommodation if the place is good. I love playing sport and keeping active. My cooking skills could be described as experimental. Im usually out between 7am - 7pm weekdays and some weekends. I try to get overseas a few times a year. I need a big bedroom or somewhere to put a couple of expensive bikes and somewhere to park my wheels (on street is fine). Please feel free to give me a call if interested. Phil
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hey I'm chilled, easy going guy. I work in the north-east suburbs as a primary teacher (it’s my first year full-time after a career change with a photography/design background) - I've got grade 3 😁! I’m independent but love to hang out over a tea/coffee/beer/wine/dinner/netflix/movie night etc. I'm a passionate traveler, bit of a geek, out, do my best to stay fit, non smoker. On weekends I prefer to have dinner/coffee catch ups with friends and go to something on in/around the city.
Hi there, I've just moved back to Melbourne after 6 years living in Samoa, Myanmar and Paris. I'll be working full-time from November (as a legal educator for not-for-profits) and am looking for a happy, relaxed and friendly sharehouse to join. I'm an active person, into yoga, swimming, music, general socialising and the outdoors and when I'm home like a good mix of chill and chatter.
Hi I'm Lya, I'm international student and working in hospitality. I'm very easy going, kind and respectful, like to keep things tidy and clean. I prefer a place where there are no parties. I do not mind to share a meal and hangout sometimes. But enjoy been by my own.
I am moving to Melbourne (from Sydney) in mid October. Looking for somewhere close-ish to the city, but also with good parking options. A fully furnished room would be ideal. I am usually quiet during the week, but like to get outdoors and be active on the weekends. I'm respectful of others, clean, and always keen for a chat.
Hi my name is Frankie Am a 33 years old and have currently moved down from Brisbane to learn to become a piano tuner. I am house trained and am looking forward to meeting some fun individuals. Though I like to have fun I would like to be able to call home a place of relaxation. Looking forward to hearing from whoever this appeals to. Cheers Frankie

I'm looking for a place to live over the summer that is furnished with at least a bed from end of Nov- end of Feb (3 months). I'm a uni student from the US with a part time job (4 days a week) in the CBD so I prefer to live relatively close but would also love to be near the beach or nightlife areas. I love gardening, being outdoors, live music, being lazy, meeting new people, practicing on the slack line, swimming laps, and just hanging out and having a drink. Looking for tidy but laid back roomies so if you have a spare room over the summer holla at me! If I'm loving it and it's not too far from uni then I would consider a longer stay well into the year. Thanks!
Hello there! Making the move to Melbourne from London to work and looking for a place to live for a year ideally. I'm a sociable person who enjoys staying in to cook for friends, exploring what the city has to offer and enjoys the occasional night out as well. I like to stay active and will be joining a local rugby team once I touch down! As a doctor I will be doing shift work so that would be why I may be coming in and out of the house at odd hours. I've mastered doing this quietly.

Hello! I'm Lauren - I'm English and have moved over to sunny Australia on a working holiday visa. I've come over to have some time to think about what's next for me career-wise, and be a bit "eat, pray, love" about life! Prior to moving over, I was working as an Assistant Psychologist doing ADHD and autism assessments with adults and have just completed a masters at UCL in mental health. As serious and mind ninja-y as that sounds, I'm a very fun outgoing person who's looking to find lovely housemates who I can consider friends whilst I enjoy my time in Melbourne. I've been told I have a very bubbly personality but am very considerate of other people needing their own space and not everyone is a morning person like me! I'm really big into swing dancing and can't wait to get into the scene - happy to take anyone along that wants to try it! I also love baking, comedy, films, cocktails, board games, debating, science and trying to make people laugh. I've just taken up running so a running buddy would be welcomed. I'm looking for a double room in a sociable, clean house share; preferably one where people enjoy being in each other's company and can have friends over but it's not a party house and there aren't a million people over every night. Somewhere with a nice lounge (and ideally a garden), that's quiet in the evenings for going to sleep. I would consider myself easy to get on with, and I'm very honest and straight forward - cleaning and cleaning rotas for example are not a problem with me. I love pets and am likely to ask to take dogs for a walk or have the cat sleep in with me if there is one! I'm a non-smoker, not excessively boozey, and respectful of boundaries of houseshares. I'm flexible with move in dates for any time after 16th October. Lauren :)
Hello! My name is Juliette, 23 and from Noosa Heads QLD. In February 2017 I will be starting a Masters of Teaching at either The University of Melbourne or ACU. I am looking for a home for myself and my partner Sam (22), who is doing a Bachelor of Teaching at Victoria University in Footscray. Also hoping to live with us is Matt (22) who is an IT student at Deakin and has work in an IT Software company in St Kilda. Both boys are from Wagga Wagga in NSW. We are a group of quiet studious, people looking to find a home in Melbourne. We all have experience in renting properties and would like to live together as we know each other to be clean, quiet, respectful and friendly. Joining us is my 5 year old Cocker Spaniel x Shitzu Teddy, who is perfectly house trained and social (although I plan on having him sleep outside). We are looking to rent somewhere from February 2017 and would like to stay for at least one year. If anyone will have something available in February we would be very interested in getting in contact!
Hey fellow Melbournians, My name is Siobhan, I’m 22 (nearly 23) and Melbourne born and bred. I’m looking to move into a totally awesome share house around November. Ideal location is ‘the North’ and my rent budget sits around $150-200 per week. A bit about me: I’m currently working fulltime in hospitality while in between studying. I have a degree in International Studies and Politics and a diploma in Español from RMIT. Not really sure what’s next in terms of study/life goals but my plan is to stick around in Melbourne for the foreseeable future. I’m a pretty easy-going person, or at least, I think I am and no one’s every told me otherwise. Not a huge party animal but I do enjoy lengthy and contemplative chats over a coffee and/or wine. I work in the evenings so won’t be around much at dinnertime, but I enjoy cooking (mostly vegetarian) when I get the chance and I love trying new restaurants. Really I just love food in general. For fun I read a lot, play the piano, yoga is my therapy and I’ve heard meditation is supposed to be good? Still learning to embrace my inner-calm person but I’m sure she’s there somewhere. I adore pets and have two cats back at home (I would love to bring one with me if that were open to consideration?). In the last few years I’ve travelled to South America, Europe and Asia and am constantly seeking my next adventure. On sunny days you can find me in the park with a soy latte in my KeepCup and the latest issue of Dumbo Feather. I’m pretty passionate about this gorgeous planet of ours and am always exploring new ways to be eco-friendly and live sustainably. What can you expect from me as a housemate? Well if I had to describe myself in 5 words I’d say: mature, friendly, compassionate, sarcastic and organised. LGBTQI friendly could be a 6th word. I consider myself to be respectful of others and have had plenty of experience living in close quarters with many people from many different nationalities. I can’t promise I’ll be tidy all the time but I can guarantee that if it happens, my mess will be well and truly contained to my room. I’m searching for a home where I can feel comfortable and relaxed, where no one will judge me for wearing my pyjamas at 2 in the afternoon and where the people are friendly and clean, but a little ‘creative clutter’ is sometimes accepted. I would love to have housemates who I can muck and joke around with, but when necessary can also sit down and discuss the more serious things in life. I envision evening drinks in the backyard during summer, cosy card games in winter and 70% dark chocolate all year round. So if it sounds like me + your house could be a match made in heaven please please get in touch. Until then! Siobhan ☺ P.S – I will bring all the plants!
Friendly individual who is always keen for a chat. A great person to share a couple of bevs with! I'm a reliable and trustworthy person who is looking to move into a shared house with some like-minded people. I'm respectful of other's property and privacy and comfortable with sharing house responsiblities, including cleaning.
Laid back, respectful housemate who takes pride in keeping my room and shared areas clean and tidy. Working full time for Victorian Greens. I'm easy going, looking for a friendly house with housemates who enjoy the occasional evening glass of wine / dinner together. I love cooking, gardening, yoga, good food and wine with friends, camping and Edinburgh gardens. I'm also spending a lot of my spare time learning to throw pottery on the wheel.
We're a fun couple from Malaysia, (Donny, 28 and Nicole, 24) who are super friendly and outgoing. We're very neat and tidy and clean up after ourselves very well and responsible. Donny loves cooking western and asian cuisine while Nicole is not as gifted on the stove like Donny, she does bake some pretty decent desserts. Our time is spent mostly working and going to classes and we like getting the occasional drink with friends in the city on weekends, or sometimes just kick back at home with a bottle of wine and a good movie or two (depending as well on work and assignment deadlines). We would love it if we could find housemates to live with that enjoy similar things that we like to do so we could enjoy it together on occasions, instead of just living under the same roof together :)
Hi, I'm Isaac. I'm a 25 year old professional musician, mainly working in theatre. For the last two and a half years, I've been living on my own in Melbourne, but prior to that I was sharehousing in Sydney for three years. I'm currently in Collingwood, but it's pretty expensive so I'm looking at getting back into sharehousing in the same area, and ideally sharing with just one or two other people. I'm a good mix of quiet and sociable- i.e. I'm easy to talk to provided I've had a coffee. I'm looking for a mature, respectful housemates who don't mind me working freelance and at varying hours. Often I'm away with work for a week or two in Sydney or Brisbane. I play piano, guitar and cello, but most of my work is on piano. If this sounds like a good fit, let me know, thank you! Isaac
Hi I’m Dave! 32 years old I work part time in North Melbourne in before, and after school care, and its something I love. My Background is in theatre and arts. I currently live in Carlton North I love this house and my housemates are lovely, the location is excellent for work, and for getting to gigs but Its time for a change of scenery and a little more space. I'm a writer, and out a lot at events, gigs, shows etc and that kind of thing but also like to chill and make some electronic music in my room on occasion. It’s not intrusive on anyone and has never been an issue, it’s somewhere between soundtrack music, and minimalism. I’m looking for a home and people to get to know, but also time to myself, I go out to gigs, and events quite a bit so pretty happy doing my own thing but like a house to come to as well. I enjoy home cooking (I make a mean Chicken korma!) talking about films, music, art, and culture type things total closet hipster(:. And I’m quite fond of cats, animals, painting, and addicted to coffee! If you think I’d fit in to your gang I’d love to hear from you. Chz Dave
Easy going friendly 27 yr old female looking for new fun social home. Easy to get on with, chilled but tidy and respectful. Lived in share houses on and off for nearly 10 years.
Hi, I am looking for some amazing housemates in an already established share house or team up that love having a glass of wine or two together at times. I am super relaxed and open to new adventures. I have lived in share houses in both Melbourne and London so understand the rules of sharing a property respectfully with others. I work as a receptionist and nanny and am a local Melbourne girl, message me if you would like to know any other further info :)
Hi! I'm Erin (the one on the right). A 27yo single lass, born and bred in Melbourne, working full time in Marketing. I'm currently looking to move in with some fun people in the fitzroy/collingwood/abbotsford area. I am friendly, easy going, independent, and very sociable. I love music and try to see as much live music it as I can. I love being outdoors, and chilling with friends, having a few drinks. I like to keep myself busy so will often be out and about, both on weekends and during the week (gigs, socialising, netball, out for dinner, going for walks, visiting nieces and nephews, etc). I don't smoke but don't mind living with people who do. I love dogs and most animals, happy to live with them also. Would love to find similar folk who are tidy in communal areas and will happily hang out and have a drink/laugh. Not sure what else to put, but feel free to ask me any questions :)
Easygoing yet like to keep the house clean. Very friendly, social but respectful of privacy. Work 9-5pm in payroll for government, enjoy the outdoors, beach, cinema and catching up with friends. Not to mention overseas travel once in a while :) Through the working week i'm pretty quiet but will get out and about on weekends. I have lived in share houses for 10 years so very house trained :)
Hi! I'm a 26yo professional working for a construction company. I'm relocating back to Melbourne after an awesome 5 years in Sydney. My job keeps me pretty busy Mon-Fri so I'm pretty chilled during the week. Tidy and considerate flatmate. My main interests include cheese, wine and dogs.
Hi, I'm Rachael. I've lived in Canberra for about 20 years, but I was born in Melbourne. I'm moving to Melbourne in December this year (not October as it says in my profile). Oddly enough it does feel like moving back home in a way :) I'm going to be doing a Masters in editing and publishing next year. As you might have guessed, I'm a writer and editor. I do some freelance work in those areas, but mostly I work on my own articles and short stories as I find it more fulfilling. I'm also training to be a Librarian. I of course, have a great collection of books. If you need a book recommendation, I've got you covered. I'm also a long-time devotee of photography; I studied it a bit at uni, I'm also really into op-shopping, old furniture, gardening, and a good DIY project. I'm a vegan so living with vegan/vegos is preferred. I'm a pretty relaxed housemate, I'm not a neat freak but I make sure to pull my weight and take responsibility for my mess and keep things tidy enough so as to not impact negatively on other people. I can do rosters but I'm not a fan of anything rigorous. I'm also quiet, I tend to go out to socialise and like to read and watch movies when I'm at home. It's really important to me to treat others how I would like to be treated so I approach all house share situations and housemates with respect and a willingness to work through conflict maturely and in an upfront manner. I'm easy going so I love living around people who are the same and are open to chatting or going to markets and such but can also give introverts like myself space for down time. Things being quiet at night throughout the work week is important to me. I need a lot of sleep so I'm very keen on bedrooms that are out of the way of commonly noisy areas like the kitchen and TV rooms. I adore home decoration. I have too many lamps and Persian style rugs. So if you like that kind of style or you have some gaps to fill in your sharehouse and don't mind what goes on regarding the style of the house, I'm your gal! I'm happy to contribute with my eclectic tastes. I'm also flexible so I don't mind keeping my stuff just to my room. I'm looking forward to discovering the goth/alternative scene in Melbourne, as I often go to goth events and clubs for fun. Dressing up in gothic Victorian and theatrical ways is a big love of mine so it will be brilliant to have a much bigger community that will support that (yes the rumours are true that Canberra is a conservative place.) If you think that is rad, or like that kind of thing too let me know!
Hey, my names Joe I work in mortgages at a bank in the CBD I'm into music and photography Love exercise and any form of outdoor activity be it hiking, running, swimming, yoga, and sports of all kind. I'm a huge Premier league fan and play soccer regularly Weekends usually involve a nice big meal followed by coffee and hanging out with close friends. I do appreciate quiet personal time so not looking for a party house. I'm also a very clean person and like to keep a tidy living environment.

I am a bright and charismatic 24 year old, studying community services and a part time worker. I am very low key, most night I enjoy listening to some Pink Floyd, Bowie or Zeppelin on my record. 60's, 70's and 80's is my favorite genre of all the music in the world. I am a music enthusiast and movie fanatic a singer. I love to animals and will be studying animal car next year after my current studies, I like to read, sing, play music, cook and bake, draw and paint and learn about almost anything and very passionate about life. I am very respectable of people's privacy also and I am not a loud nor a messy person, in fact I am the very opposite. My occupation is a cleaner so I like to keep my areas neat and tidy. Every so often I do enjoy a night out with friends, my main hang outs are located in Fitzroy and Brunswick but most weekends I like to keep at home and be a movie nerd with my 80s and 70s movies and music. I am looking for a good home with kind people, no 24/7 big party share house, just a warm and cozy home with lovely people to live with :) In terms of kind, friendly, neat and everyday motivated, I am that person. I hope my description of myself is promising. Many regards
Hi! After working as a lawyer in Amsterdam for 4 years, I have decided to move to Australia and to find a job as a lawyer in Melbourne (so I'm still unemployed but hope to have a job soon). During university, I lived in a fraternity/sorority house and after that I lived with friends, so I'm used to living with different people and used to cleaning (definitely no hosophobia but I like my house clean), chilling and doing fun stuff with my flatmates (having beers, watching stupid TV shows, cooking, going out etc). I'm super easy going, I don't complain much and I'm not the most noisy person in the world so very easy to live with. Again, I like my beers and to go out but also love sports (running, swimming, rowing, cycling, surfing, boxing) and music (from 3-day music festivals to playing piano and learning to play guitar). I'll arrive in Melbourne at the end of November 2016 and looking for some nice flatmates (preferably in a furnished flat)! Not really a plan how long I will stay, could be 2 months or 2 years. Who can help me out? : )
I am a friendly and sociable housemate looking for similar people to live with. I work in communications full-time and enjoy what I do. An ideal Friday night for me is wine or gin on the deck/backyard or trip to the pub. I enjoy gardening and reading and occasionally turn super nerdy and get into crosswords. I am looking for mature people who are well housetrained. I also come with the sweetest adopted cat, Mama. She wants pats ALWAYS but won't go far from my bed to get them so she is not too much of a bother if you are worried.
I'm a 28 year old female just moved from the UK. I spent last year travelling around India and Indonesia, but before this I was working as a mental health therapist. I have come to Australia to work, so I'm currently looking for 'normal' work, but also for work as a performer! (don't worry I have ample funds to support me until I find work). I came here with my friend and we are both professional hula hoopers! We will be hoping to get work at festivals/events and doing some busking. I'm very clean and tidy, and I love cooking and having house meals together!
My name is Jacob, I'm a student studying Marketing at RMIT and work part time as a barista. I spend most of my weekends with friends or just hanging out at home. I like to cook and I love music and fashion. I've got a bit of furniture including a 3 seater couch and large Lcd TV plus more! look forward to hearing from you :)
Local Melbourne guy looking for new home in either an existing or new share home. I'm a very much a low key guy. I work a lot and am often away for entire weekends. I'm often home quite late during the week. My time off is spent with a mixture of Footy (go Dees) and maybe a few beers, I get away to the beach and up into the mountains a lot in the warmer months. The Details: - Employed full time (Melb CBD) - Single (happily) - Non Smoker (don't mind smokers though) - No Pets (love animals though - Aways pays rent / bills on time - Have some furniture (couch, table/chairs, fridge, washing machine, TV) I'm not one to have a lot of friends/mates over but I don't mind a beer and a laugh with housemates. Looking to move in somewhere in the next 4 weeks.
I work as a consultant in the CBD, so I have the standard 9-5 job, looking for a house which allows me to have peace and quiet during the week, but everyone's gotta let their hair down every once so i like to get drunk on the weekends. (But no, i don't want a party house) Some aspects of life i enjoy are: Having a bloody good laugh, indulging in things like wine, champagne, gin, seafood and a good sausage. I also really love exercising and will be doing something most days of the week, so my day during the week is generally pretty regimented, but weekends are a little more fun. I am looking for an easy going person to live with, not live out of each others pockets, however obviously become comfortable enough with each other to talk a bit of shit and say what you really feel. I am originally from the Mornington Peninsula, so i do cruise down there on the weekends maybe every 2/3 weekends, My move in date is flexible however will just need to give a months notice, give me a holla and we can take it from there ;)
I enjoy having a chat, drawing pictures, listening to music, occasionally binge watching TV series, the odd beer or wine, going to gigs and having a good walk. I play guitar and drums. I like reading graphic novels. I run a small web and graphic design business working from a desk in the Nicholas building on Flinders ln. I'm neat, friendly, responsible. I'm a vegetarian and like to keep active a couple of times a week. If all that is not enough, here is a recent review from Laurel, an Air BnB host I stayed with recently: "Ben was a wonderful guest--more like him please! He was quiet, curious, respectful, and a good communicator. He's interesting to chat with, and it's always a pleasure to have visitors from afar staying with us! He's welcome back anytime."
Hey potential housemates! I'm Heather, I'm a graphic designer, currently doing an internship plus working part time in retail to pay the bills. I like to ride my bike, go out for coffee and brunch, shop, walk, and generally explore Melbourne. If I'm not at work you might find me drawing, reading, listening to music, watching some TV shows or playing video games. I'm not a big party animal but do enjoy going out for drinks at the pub with friends and like to enjoy a wine or two on the couch at home. I'm vegetarian and love to cook, but I'm relaxed about others cooking/eating meat. I don't have any pets but I will adore yours if you have any in your home!!
I am a well seasoned in share house living, and very clean, respectful of others and considerate and friendly by nature. I work full time in health care and enjoy going out for meals (and wines) with friends, taking long walks, exploring markets and going to yoga in my spare time. I'm looking for a place to set up with a compatable housemate. I have some nice furniture and all the basics to set up a place, but also happy to negotiate what goes in the house if others have furniture etc too.
