hi! My name's Kirsten and I'm looking for a new place to call home :) I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a house or townhouse in Melbourne's inner north, preferably between $180 and $260ish a week. I work full-time in communication and study writing on the side. In my spare time I'm usually buying books, at the movies, spending time at my bf's place, or talking rubbish at the pub. I don't have any pets except for a few cute plants I can dot around the house. I'm not home all the time, but when I am I'm more than happy to have a chat and chill out together over some wine/food. My idea of a great share house is one where we can hang out together sometimes, but also do our own things when we want. And somewhere where everyone's happy to tidy up/do their bit to create a happy home. I reckon I'm pretty laid back, but I'm also clean and know that everyone plays a part when you're sharing. My move date's flexible, but preferably around the middle/end of May. Hit me up if you think we might be good together!
Hey, yep. Its me. Just a strange, introspective animator/digital artist. Here's a list of things that make my life enjoyable ~ ✨ cooking ✨ sleeping ✨ podcasts ✨ dancing ✨ board/card/role playing games ✨ all the other videoscreen things ✨ riding my bike e v e r y w h e r e ✨ I currently work 5 days a week for a video game studio in South Melbourne. I am often out at the studio, but my work schedule is pretty flexible and requires great internet and desk space when I need to work from home. My cat, Kami is very affectionate and sure make you like cats if you don't already. She's super motivated by pats and attention. Kami warms to new people incredibly quickly and actually just really good company. That being said, kami does have other options if pets aren't a thing.
Hi I'm Meg! I'm a 24 year old nurse from the US who moved to Australia about 8 months ago. I'm clean, friendly, and a respectful roommate. I'm pretty independent but also love to kick back and have a wine and cheese night with my future roommate.
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're easy going, quiet and tidy. We have excellent references from previous rentals.
Hey all, Full time student, work part time in hospo. Love to cook, grow asian greens, super clean and respectful. Currently live far from uni, in a sketchy area so keen to move ASAP. Please message me if you have a place, I have been looking for nearly three months ,and I'm not paying for another upgrade, as no one responds on here :( :(
I've lived in share houses before I'm clean tidy and respectful and always up for a beer or shared dinner with housemates. I enjoy cooking and happy to contribute to shared meals. I work full time in communications.
Hi there, my name is Bree. I'm looking for a new place to call home, from roughly 1 June (although this date is flexible). The suburbs I have listed as wanting to live in aren't set in stone, but I work full- time in Kew East and would like to stay close by. I'm mature for my age, easy to get along with, tidy, and a little quiet, although I do also like to be social. I work in admin, own a horse (don't worry, he isn't moving in as well), like to go to the gym, play computer games, watch Netflix, and sleep. I'd love to find a housemate/s with similar personalities/ interests, or who at the very least I could get along well with. I do tend to get along better with people a little older than myself. If you think I might be the ideal addition to your household, feel free to send me a message. :) Also very interested in teaming up!
I am a 27 years old Software Engineer working full time in Fitzroy. I am not a party animal at home, but I love to go to dance Salsa and other Latin rhythms very often. Also, you will find me Sundays singing (in English and in my native language Spanish) and playing the guitar on the open mics on grumpy's on Smith St. I am friendly, tidy and respectful. I don't smoke. I am not vegetarian, but I never eat meat at home. I am usually busy with work but I am always keen to any social activity, shared dinner, outdoor activity, movie, etc. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hi, I'm Anton, a primary school teacher, surfer (who gives housemates free surf lessons) and laid back guy who's looking for a new place. I have a teaching job in Keilor East and my landlord of my lovely Brunswick lease for the last two years is renovating and then selling! I hit trivia once a week in Collingwood with friends and enjoy eating out and cooking up awesome food. I have a cat too that comes with references from my current and former housemates. Would love to be part of the house. Also can contribute furnishings too if you'd like. Please message me or give me a call. Thanks, Anton
Hey. I work at a photography company full time and when I'm not working I like to hangout around Melbourne. I like going to gigs when I can and love good food, whether at home or out. I'm fairly easy going and happy to chat anytime.
Hey... I am Stephen.... After living in one home for 15 years, the owner has chosen to sell. Therefore, I am looking for a new home. I love to cook, enjoy a good conversation, I respect each others living space, am open to new life views, and most importantly, I am confident I will add character to your home. I am excited at the prospect of being your new housemate.
Hi! I'm Siobhan (Shiv) I'm a musician and I've just moved to Melbourne to explore the music, food and everything else Melbourne has to offer! I'm exceptionally well house trained but also easy going. I love animals, good food, live music, exploring new places and meeting new people. I can always keep myself entertained but also enjoy social gatherings/dinners and inspiring, creative or fun conversations. I work in hospitality and music and always on time with bills. I'm respectful of everybody's needs and lifestyles, house social but sensitive to quiet times and personal space. Looking for a household that is clean and tidy but still feels homely, fairly quiet and respectful but also social, doesn't mind a bit of acoustic guitar or music and great with communication. Bonus points if you have cats coz I love em!
I moved to Melb in Jan and am looking for a new place because I want to get closer to the city and because my girlfriend's visa up so she is heading back to the UK in June so I need a place for one rather than two. That being said, I am trying to find a place before she goes, so hoping to find someone that doesn't mind her being around for a month or so (though we are happy to contribute more to rent/bills during that time). A bit about me, I am a 26 year old also working big kid hours. I also volunteer one night a week, so with that and work, I usually keep it pretty quiet during the week. I love anything outdoors, including hiking, gardening, and generally exploring so I do this most weekends because I am stuck at a desk during the week. My most recent trips include Cape Schanck a few weekends ago and Phillip Island over Easter. I also love all things live music so I am often out at gigs or shows. I am also enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer food-wise, so I love checking out the odd café on the weekend. As for the nitty gritty, I have lived in shared houses for quite a while and am well house-trained (beyond just cleaning my dishes) and I think I am generally pretty easy to live with. I am pretty independent during the week but then love hanging around and having a drink or chat when people are around. If you think I am a good fit, feel free to get in touch!
I'm a 26 year old graphic designer looking to share with with some friendly, easy-going people! Happy to have a communal dinner or drink every now and then, and also to do my own thing. I work three days at a graphic design studio, and two days for my own clients from home, so ideally the bedroom would be big enough to fit a desk :) Looking forward to meeting some new potential housemates.
Hello Flatmates! Just a little intro about myself. I'm Malaysian and from a little island called Borneo and I've been in Melbourne for about 9+ months now studying hospitality management full time and working part time in hospitality. I'm a pretty chill person to be around with, i love socialising with my housemates while having dinner together or a glass of wine but i do respect the need for alone time as well, and I think that's very important. I am also a very clean and organised so I guess you could I've been house trained pretty well. On my spare time in between studies and work, I'm usually just a potato at home watching netflix or out with friends to catch up on each others lives or out exploring Melbourne.
Hi, my name is Pat. I'm a full-time engineering professional who has just relocated to Melbourne (from Brisbane) and am looking for a new place to call home. About me : I like to keep fit and practice yoga (and also teach yoga for fun). I like to eat well and cook when I can - I find I don't eat much meat these days. I also like to go hiking and cycle and see the odd music/comedy gig. I've done a lot of travel and have a passable level of farmer Spanish. I'm really looking forward to exploring my new city. I'm friendly and sociable but I'm not a loud party animal. I've got a few friends in Melbourne and I prefer to socialise out rather than bring the party home. During the week I tend to get up early for work (or yoga). I also like to have a bit of my own time to recharge, read or binge watch a series. With housemates I'm the kind of person who likes to have a chat or share a meal if we're home together. I enjoy being friends with housemates, rather than just passing each other from time to time. I'm clean, considerate and value relationships, and looking for housemates who are the same. I pay all my bills on time, not tight with money. Looking for : I would like to share with one (maybe two) other friendly professionals in their late 20s to late 30s, not a couple. Close enough to public transport that it's an easy walk. Parking space (street is fine). Lots of bonus points if there is a sunny backyard, veggie patch or pets. Looking forward to meeting you soon! Pat
Hey everyone! I'm a Melbourne born 27 year old working full time in the city and am currently looking to find a new place to call home for the next 6 - 12 months. I'm a very social and relaxed person and am looking to move in with people who don't mind having a chat and watching a movie or two, but are respectful that we all need our own downtime every now and then. I like to enjoy life, be it heading out for dinner or drinks, day trips to the beach or just settling back with a decent book or game.
Hello :) our lease is up in Windsor and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond as I'm so over the insane traffic around Windsor!! We are both professionals employed full time (Laura has her own business), very fun but equally hard working, clean and reliable. Excellent with money and paying rent/bills on time. We are both very tidy and clean and very house proud. We are looking for 3-4 bedroom large houses around Collingwood/Clifton Hill/Fitzroy/Richmond and possibly Northcote. And there are some gorgeous houses coming up but we need a 3rd or possibly 4th person to join us in the hunt! I have a 4mth old kitten and we are both animal crazy and we'd love to live with people that are creative/interested in gardening, art, philosophical discussions about life etc. We believe in treating others well and putting out positive energy into the world. No negativity thanks! I practice yoga and mindfulness (Laura), love wine time and it would be lovely to find a 3rd or 4th friend to join our team. We love eating out, trying new cafes and dinners at home. We have everything a house needs but are very open to more furniture, especially a dining table and outdoor furniture. I have an ever burgeoning collection of indoor plants that you can enjoy too! I will also be bringing my 2 yr old GSP dog for weekend visits occasionally (he lives with my parents) so you need to love dogs. You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for friends rather than just a flatmates. Get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
We're a couple from England and New Zealand, living and working full time in Melbourne. We are both very easy going, clean, tidy and sociable. We like to socialise with other housemates whether it be over dinner/drinks or a movie as well as having our own time/space.
Hi I'm Jason 28 i work within the Employment Services industry. I like to think I am down to earth easy going person who enjoys good food and the occasional drink with friends. I do have full time commitments so would predominantly spend weekends and nights at home.
- neat, tidy and clean - new to Melbourne from interstate - health professional - length of stay 9+ months - car park required (off street would be ideal)
25 year old kiwi dude, moved to this awesome city over a year ago. Working full time (9-5) at Man With a Van – hard work but it keeps me fit. When I’m not working, I’ll be playing soccer, catching up on TV shows, poking around opshops, having a quiet drink with mates, or doing a bit of exploring on my bike. I’m clean and reliable, aiming to find a place to stay long term. Look forward to hearing from you.
