Hi everyone! This is Jay from Brissy, coming to start my master at RMIT. I’m an energetic, easy going person. At home, I usually read and do some simple cooking. I'm a design and tech nerd, but I also love being active and spend time outdoors. (Hiking and kitesurfing, sailing, diving, anyone?) I’m into Zen living, so I like to keep things to minimal and make cleaning and tidying as my ritual, but definitely not Marie Kondo type! XD And would not force others to do so. In case you wonder, I’m an Aires :)
Hello, I’m student from Vietnam. I’m studying veterinary science at La Trobe uni. I’m also working part-time as a barista. I would be very happy if I could find a place close to public transport to my uni and have some friendly flatmates.
I'm Skye, 19 years old. I'm studying VCE 3 days a week and am currently looking for work. I'm on centerlink, but will be doing a four week hospitality course so i can work in a bar or something like that. I tend to spend my days studying, gaming, cuddling kitties or watching the latest movie or show on netflix. I'm really hoping you're fine with cats too because i'm hoping to get a kitten as they help with my anxiety and sleeping. :) I look forward to chatting more with you.
Hi there! I'm an international student at the University of Melbourne, doing MSs of Construction Management in my second year. I'm Armenian raised in Russia. Have lots of cultural backgrounds to share! Passionate about languages, now speaking English, Armenian, Russian and currently learning Chinese and Spanish. My life goal is to speak 10 different ones. I consider myself as a mature and hard-working person. Always clean up everything after myself and respect others. I believe that my freeness ends where other persons begin. I am easy going and positive, with high life standards. Sometimes need time for myself though (kinda introvertish). I love European and Asian cuisines, exceptionally crazy about Italian. (no smelly nor messy cooking) Oh, btw, I have an awesome red motorbike, so grab a helmet and hop on for a windy ride! I will also need off-street parking for it (usually it's free for motorbikes) If you've read till this point and think that we share common values and interests, I would be happy to share a living space with you! The stay length is flexible. Feel free to drop a message!
I run a small business making chocolate and love riding my motorbike and going on adventures on the weekends. I'm kind, clean and courteous. I work a lot, and respect others space. I've lived overseas and in plenty of share houses over the past 10 years and have some stories to tell.
I am an international student studying Cookery at William Angliss Institute in the city. I am a Filipino but grew up in Brunei. I like cooking up my own meals and also play tennis. Looking for a place in or near the city with preferably a private room.
I’m in my final year of Masters while interning at a public health start up. I also work at a bar in Collingwood. I really like music, cooking and sewing when I get some time. Although I enjoy socialising I like my home to be a pretty peaceful place
Hi potential new roomies. I’m Emma, I’ve just turned 30 (eek), originally from county Vic and I’ve called myself a Melbournian for the past year. I love the Melbourne life, I’m a city girl at heart. I’m employed full time for the Department of Justice and Community Safety and look after all things healthcare for prisoners in Victoria. I work the standard business hours and am usually out of the house in the morning by 7am. My interests include checking out new, fun places to have a cocktail or two and finding the best happy hour for Friday night drinks, catching up with friends in the city for dinner, netball and yoga (although I am terrible at both) and patting random dogs in the street. I try to stay fairly healthy and a non smoker. I'm share house trained, I pay bills on time and do my share of the cleaning. I’m genuinely a fun person to have a chat with at the end of the day, but also love some downtime and respect others space and need for the same. I'm a terrible cook, but I get points for trying. I love a sneaky glass of wine, and a Netflix or doco binge, oh and chocolate, I love chocolate. I’m looking for a place to call home and not just a room in a house. I'm a social person entertaining friends occasionally, but mostly catches up with them outside of the house. I'm not into the party scene, so looking for like minded housemates that don't want to party until 4am on a Tuesday. Ultimately I am looking to share with people around my age with similar interests. If you have a room that sounds like I would be a good fit, and I’ve managed to sound normal enough, get in touch :)
Hi So a little bit about me I'm 36 years of age and currently working as a Freelance Illustrator and busy with all things creative, to balance that out at the moment I am also working for a temp company hours are typically Mon-Fri 8-4:30. I am also working for a sporting events company on a freelance basis I am an easy going chilled guy who loves to head down to the pub quiz with friends and swap stories of the week over a parma. Also happy to have a chat with housemates and share a beer or kick back and devour a series of netflix when its needed. I am a seasoned share house veteran having lived in share houses both big and small overseas in the UK during my backpacking years and now in Australia the last 10 years, so understand a clean kitchen/bathroom means happy housemates
Hey I'm Astra, I'm a 20 year old hospitality worker, who loves the gym, coffee and crafts. I'm currently looking to move out of my current sharehouse for something more affordable and quiet. I'm pretty laid back, but enjoy a tidy and peaceful home. Of course the occasional gathering and social times are great too.
Hi! I'm Elise :) I'm 27 & I work in the film and TV industry so I love being able to say that watching movies is “research”. Currently working FT on a US TV show being shot here in Melbourne, I leave pretty early in the morning and get back late so weekends are my jam. I’m down-to-earth, respectful and open-minded. I love to boogie, either at gigs, festivals/doofs, bars/clubs, love to catch up with friends, read great books, listen to good vinyl (or spotify, you got me), watch amazing movies (Hello, mondays at the Nova), travel whenever I get the chance, and get out and about as much as I can. Overall I believe in all the important things - from equality to having fun.
Halllooo, I'm looking for a sharehouse with my pupper Taco! $250 max (or a little more if bills included) and anywhere close to a train is a bonus! I'm flexible with move in date, though first week of March is preferred, and can do short term if I can't find a place that would be ideal for 12 mths. I'm an artist-musician, will be studying dance in the city, and working in animal welfare. I love playing piano, guitar, violin, dancing, laughing, chilling in nature, yoga, hanging out with lovely people, going to exhibitions/gigs, reading, boardgames, bowling, etc! I'm eco-friendly as possible, love learning, and have some edible plant babies! Haha, yes I grow things we can use to cook in meals together (occasionally or whatever), I usually homecook to save money. Taco is chill, an attention whore, and also a brilliant tenant! I've been sharing and renting my whole life and can provide references for us both. Looking to live somewhere vegan-friendly, or just respectful at least, that feels like home for everybody! An existing pupper tenant for Taco to play with would be a super cool extra, but of course we can't always have everything we want. Please feel free to ask me more Qs should you need to get a better idea of us! Looking for a perfect match as housemates. LBTQ of course!♡☆ Hope this is enough info to start off with! Can't wait to find our dream home x! Also, I'm addicted to tea! The kind you drink. So would love to discuss stuff and things over a cuppa some time. Independent, but friendly. Also an activist! So if you also activist, then we could activist together. ^ _^ Lalalove, Lollie♡ (100% genuine)
Hi! The names Alex, I've just recently moved to Melbourne form country NSW, I've been overseas for a while. Started a course in interior design and working casually in retail in the city. I usually work as a Pharmacy technician, but have decided to change it up a bit. I've lived in share housing before so I know the jist. I bloody love Melbourne so I'm very much looking forward to exploring and getting to the know this rad city. Love a great brunch (coffeeee), so always on the look out for new places. I'm very into pottery at the moment, so if anyone knows a good school, let me know. Love interior design (obviously), floristry and reading. I'm not big into partying, going out for delicious dinners is more my thing and love a wine or two! Looking for housemates where we can have good chat and are like minded people, preferably girls but not too worried about it. I'm not vegetarian but trying to be a bit more conscious of how much meat I eat, so vegetarian during the week. I'm very clean, especially common areas where I believe you really shouldn't leave your shit around, coz you know other people live there too.
Hello everyone! I'm an exchange student from Germany studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne for one semester. I've already been to Melbourne twice and love the city and everything it has to offer e.g. the great coffee and the comedy festival ;) Since I'm only here for a short period I ideally would like to find a sublet for about 4 and a half months, but I will consider other alternatives as well! Last time I was in Melbourne I was an AuPair in a family with 3 children for 6 months. I also travelled along the East Coast and to Bali. When I don't have to study for exams I like keeping active, going for a run/to the gym and getting a coffee and some much needed sun outside :) I'm a very responsible, easy to live with, considerate person and like my space to be clean and organized. So if you think we would be a good fit send me a message! I look forward to hearing from you. See ya, Cosima
I'm super easy going and relaxed and love cooking food. I try to eat vegan when I can but i'm not hardcore about it. I work as the head barista at a cafe in Northcote and am a huge coffee nerd. I love whipping up a delicious coffee for my housemates and guests! When i'm not working I like to read, look after my little plant children and play Jazz piano as a hobby (I also do a bit of DJing as well) - I have a really nice, expensive sound system and love sharing and listening to music with others - but am also respectful of a shared space and volume levels (Headphones!!). I like to keep to myself and work on my music half the time, but never say no to a drink and love doing dinners, Hoping to find people I can be friends with and socialise over drinks, share music with and also cook great food - while also having some time to myself to work on my hobbies.
I'm a great cook, and love to feel like my house is a little family. I can often be found singing or watching movies; I work regular hours in early childhood and I absolutely love it. I'm looking for flatmates who know the value of connection but aren't codependent: I love to share a meal but I don't need to know where you are 24/7! Must be willing to occasionally share cheese plates, high five each other after successful tinder dates, balance enjoying trash tv with applying a critical eye to media, be willing to be sat on by a very sweet calico cat and/or a blue tongue lizard.
Hello! I've just arrived in Melbourne from Vancouver, Canada on a working holiday visa. I'm very flexible, easygoing and am generally quite clean and respectful of common spaces. I enjoy sharing meals and socializing with roommates. I prefer houses that aren't 24/7 party spaces, but I do enjoy social events occasionally. Hoping to find some nice people to connect with!
***Looking for a room to move in ASAP*** Hey! I’ve just moved from Perth to Melbourne to do my Masters at the University of Melbourne. I’m very friendly, respectful and considerate of others. Lover of good wine, good food and, of course, travel! 😊 Looking for a comfortable large-ish private room (big enough for a queen bed and study desk), ideally to share the house/flat with 1-2 other people. I value having tidy communal spaces so I am looking to share with someone who is the same. I would really like to find somewhere where I am made to feel at home and not feel like I need to lock myself away in my bedroom all the time. As I’ll be studying, I’m looking for something that won’t be a “party house” on the reg! At this stage I'm ideally looking for accomodation until approx July (for the whole of first semester) however if all goes well then would be happy to stay on Any questions, just ask 👍
I work as a gardener/landscaper, you know, planting ferns and the like in the suburbs. I'm doing a woodworking course part-time. I love to cook big meals and eat with my housemates on occasion. I swim and dance and keep very active. I've lived in lots of sharehouses, love living with people, I'm clean and generous.
Hi I’m Nada, I work full time in the Arts, I’m easy going, down to earth, love a chat over a cuppa but understand the importance of downtime. I’m respectful, responsible and clean. I enjoy going to the theatre, gigs and hanging out with mates ... particularly my best mate, Nugget! Nugget is a happy little legend. She’s a well house/yard trained staffy and she’s not shy when it comes to cuddles! :)
