Hello, I'm Laura, I'm 28 and have just moved to the area. I love cooking, socializing, going for drinks/ food or coffee. I'm a huge fan of the beach too so will try and be there in spare time. I enjoy yoga and exercise and just exploring new things :) I'm tidy and considerate
I am a neat person who is laid back and easy to get along with. Love my own space but also don’t mind kicking back and spending time with friends. Am looking to find somewhere before the 22nd of January 2018.
Looking for somewhere to rent close to griffith university as I am currently studying my bachelor of nursing. I am friendly and really easy to get along with. Looking for a place with likeminded people.
I am a considerate, clean and respectful person. I have steady employment in a professional capacity. I'm an open minded person who tries to see the bright side of things.I enjoy reading, movies and being social.
Hi there, Aiden and I are looking for a room to share. We're full-time Law students at Griffith Uni. Aiden works nights throughout the week and I work during the day at a cafe. We have been living together for over two years now, we have lived in three separate share houses and can provide you with a reference if necessary. We would like to find a share house with nice people who are like-minded. We take responsibility, we're clean, respectful, laid back and honest. Our idea of fun is bike riding, going to the beach or camping. I enjoy creating art while Aiden is a gamer at heart and reads comics. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you, Chloe and Aiden
Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. I have my own bedroom furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. If not I have my own cupboard. Ceiling fans or air con would also be nice, but not essential. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $125 per week including all utilities, where I am currently living in Sunnybank Hills and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. My budget also allows me to pay up to $160 per week in rent without any problems. When working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet, as part of the utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I have quit smoking, so would prefer to find a place where I am not around it anymore. I am also, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. I am happy to pitch in and help with yard mowing duties or other chores if required and am always willing to help my flatmates with things if they need it. I am looking for a long term place like 1-2 years+. Cheers!
Hi our names are Nav and Lani. Lani works full time as a Registered Nurse, Nav works part time as an Enrolled Nurse. We are a very private couple who like our own space. We are neat and tidy. Due to being shift workers we are looking for our own accommodation separate to others. Due to being nurses we get along well with anyone, we are flexible, respectful, neat and tidy. Looking forward to finding a place! We are looking at no more then $200 together, so $100 each.
New to Brisbane, will be starting a degree full-time at Griffith Nathan campus in 2018 and working part-time. Im friendly and reliable, like to socialise but appreciate mine and other peoples space and privacy. Im a makeup and brow artist from Townsville, I like to keep active by going to gym, running and eating healthy. Being a foodie also means I do love the occasional dirty meals. I have a maremma dog who is nearly 8 years old, she is very friendly and loves people and is great with cats. Being an older dog, she is very docile and mostly sleeps, she's also a great guard dog.
I like to take walks and explore the city, as well as engaging in the creative arts. A hobby of mine is learning language. At the moment I'm trying to learn Korean! At home, I am tidy, comfortable with doing a lot of chores. I'm very lowkey. Easy to talk to and always down for a chat. But I'm also fine keeping to myself and accommodating to the rules of a household. Currently I'm just working jobs full-time but hopefully I can start studying at university soon!
Neat and tidy, quiet (will never hear me), keep to myself, love cooking and most of all eating! Working 10 hours of the day so I won't be around much either. Mostly looking for a unit/flat type thing but can also be open. Thank you :)
My name is Tim and I'm a 4th year Forensic Science/Criminology and Criminal Justice student at Griffith University. I study full time and also work part time for Coles. I'm currently in the UK on an exchange semester and will be returning to Australia at the end of January, with the intention of moving in to a new room around the 7th of February. I'd be looking at staying till the end of June/start of July. My ideal room would have space for a double bed and a desk, and have an ensuite bathroom. I'm looking for somewhere relatively modern place, preferably with bills included, however I'm also open to places where they aren't. I am a quiet, tidy and respectful flatmate who keeps to themselves most of the time. I will clean up my own mess and contribute to chores in the common areas. Most of my time is spent at work or uni, and when I'm home I'll either be cooking or relaxing in my room. I also have a girlfriend and we often have dinner together after uni, and she would stay over a couple of nights a week usually. Tim :)
I am a female in her early-mid twenties, working full time in admin. I am a reliable and quiet housemate who loves cooking - I keep to myself most of the time but I also enjoy a little bit of socialising now and again. Looking for a nice room to rent - would much prefer a private bathroom/ensuite but will possibly consider other options. Feel free to message me for more info! Note: both my move date and stay length are flexible depending on the options given.
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
I am a happy bouncy person who loves a clean space :D I'm not reaallly one for parties or clubs but I love a good social gathering with friends. I like to keep to myself but am definitely up for a chat on the lounge or anything like that. I have also just finished my degree and am looking for work right now :D
Hi! I'm Holly and I'm moving to Brisbane to start uni in February. I'm from a small country town and just finished school. I'm looking for something student friendly close to the Queensland College of Art at South Bank which is where I'll be studying animation. I'd make a great roommate because I'm patient, understanding and grew up with siblings so I know how to get along with people. I'm quite social but also enjoy time to myself. I'm interested in music, art and film. Feel free to message if you have something available :)
Hi I'm sid, working for Queensland Health. I work in office so my work will be during the day times. I keep things neat, tidy and organized. Myself active with yoga, pilates everyday and also volunteer during the weekend as life saver, so I wont keep myself busy. I like to have a clean and quiet place to share and also love to socialise and keep up time for myself. Happy to have chat. I don't have pets but don't mind with pets and also I'm non-smoker. I will be off to oveseas before the end year and will be back on 20th Jan, so if possible would like to view the place. Once past the date, please contact by message. Cheers Sid
Easy going, quiet person not noisy. Spent two years already in Australia on a working holiday visa and love oz so decided to return on a student visa! Love Queensland! Can't wait to arrive back in Australia next month!
I think I'm a pretty awesome housemate aha. I'm clean, respectful and very considerate. I'm also laid back and enjoy getting to know people but I'm also a hermit! I'm spontaneous, enjoy running, study at Griffith and am constantly on the move doing things outside. Big plus about me, you never have to fight with me about the remote, I don't watch TV at all :P The ideal would be to find a two bedroom place with another person. :)
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am quite independent and like to keep everything very clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and am living here up until the end of January, so I may be a bit of a busy-bot for the first few months of living in Brisbane, as I love discovering new places and seeing new things. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is quite a sweet little thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us (preferably spacious as I will have Millie's scratching pole, bed, enclosed toilet and off ground food bowls to go in) available towards the end of January 2018, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
