I am a fun loving 22 year old about to start my career as a full time physiotherapist. I have lived in share accommodation on the gold Coast for the last 5 years so I understand what it is like to live with other people and have plenty of respect for your own space and things. I am a very tidy person and have some furniture already. If you have a dog we can be best friends, but if you have a devil cat we can't because I am allergic to them. My hobbies outside of working hours include keeping active with gym and sports, an adventure or 2 somewhere outdoors over weekends and i do enjoy a good cheese and wine night or a fews drinks out. I am really looking for a like minded individual whom I can get along with and be comfortable living with for a year. Ideally id love to have a good patch of grass or outdoors space to spend my weekends in the sunshine. My current lease ends on December 12th but I am happy to move prior to that if a suitable place comes up.
My name is Timo and I am a student from Germany who graduated from Griffith University here in Brisbane at about the beginning of March. It is important to me to find a nice apartment where I feel comfortable and where I find some new friends with whom I can live together and spend a nice time here. I´m a sociable, uncomplicated person who attaches importance to the fact that we undertake joint activities together. Therefore I am open to many things, for example cooking together, going out for dinner (food is simply my passion:)), an evening watching movies, go to Sports (i´m playing soccer at home and i´m sometimes going to the gym) or even going out for a night in the city. On the other hand, I am someone who also needs time for myself, especially when exams take place at the university. However, it should not be a shared flat just for Purpose. I also attach importance to cleanliness and order and that should be important for my flatmates, too.
I'm a pretty extroverted and energetic person, who enjoys socialising, but after sharing a house here in Brissie with an introvert for the past 12 years I've learnt how and when to keep to myself and give others their space, and peace and quiet. Looking for an unfurnished, and reasonably large room with builtin wardrobe if possible (3.7m x 3.7m minimum is ideal, or 4x3 plus a study table nook etc) I work from home (as a meteorologist), and spend 2-3 nights a week out of the house refereeing touch footy. I'm the sort of person who is often busy early and late in the day, but has large chunks of the middle of the day available to keep the house ticking over, both inside and out, while others may be busy or out at work. I enjoy following the NRL, and given my passion for severe weather, during summer I often head out in the afternoons and evenings to chase storms across SE QLD.
I am tidy & respectful. I work full time, Monday - Friday so will only be home from 3pm onwards. I have a 2 year old son who I see every weekend so I won’t be home during the day. I enjoy a conversation from time to time, however I also know personal space. I’m a non-smoker, not big on parties & a genuine guy. Preferably something close to a train station as I rely on public transport.
Hey there I am looking for a place to rent anywhere from Mt Gravatt to Salisbury. I do security work most days Monday to Friday starting early in the morning, I am flexible with my length of stay if we all get on and everything is cool I'm open to staying longer. I keep myself busy by going on hiking trips, earning extra money, reading, cooking, yoga, TV and being out and about when I can. I'm also keen on finding a gym bro I enjoy having a laugh with my roommates but I am also respectful of peoples privacy and quite time also i'm great when it comes to keeping the place clean and ill never leave dishes soaking for days on end. If you think we can get along and share some fun times shoot me a message
Hi I’m caskill I’m very easy going, tidy and work full time. I spend some weekdays and most weekends with my girlfriend, I get into most shows on Netflix, ufc, I work out casually and also like to have a few drinks in my spear time.
I am a 27 year old single man. I am Christian. I am working full time as an engineer. I love to travel. I am very friendly and outgoing. I enjoy a good chat and a good meal with a group of people. Other than this, I lead a very quiet lifestyle.
Hi, I am Niveda a recent graduate looking for a studio or two bhk unit. I am a relaxed and flexible person.. sinc I am working full time on a casual basis looking for a unit for my own. I work both morning and night shifts and schedule is pretty tight. Therefore, I am looking for privacy when I am at home. Also, I would like to share with another person (2bhk) preferably a female. Do message if you have any units available or willing to team up. P.S looking to move by November first week.
Hi there! I'm a 2017 highschool graduate from Cairns and moved to Brisbane 5 months ago to study at Griffith University :) I am currently looking for a new place to live! :) I love sport and I absolutely love my friends and family! I often like to go out and explore different areas and I'm not afraid to experience and learn new and different things! I also love meeting new people and am always up for a chat! I do love my friends and like to be out-and-about and social on the off occasion, but you will most likely find me studying, reading a book or watching a movie - I do love my downtime. I am a respectable, quiet person who generally keeps to themselves but still enjoys interacting with different people. I like to keep myself presentable (most of the time except for when I wake up and look like a zombie) as well as keeping the areas around me clean. I am an extremely excitable person and have an overall bubbly personality but I also know boundaries and when to be respectable :) I love eating watermelon and am a full-time dog patter and animal lover!
I am living In Brisbane to study a double degree ( Forensic science/ Criminology and criminal justice) at Griffith University, I am clean, tidy, respectable, friendly and highly organised. I enjoy live music, art, good food, gardening and spending time in nature. As I am unfortunately wihtout car, I would prefer to live as close to GU as possible, or within a short walk of direct access public transort. I would enjoy a spacious house with my own bathroom and a garden and/or balcony as I lived alone for 6 years prior to moving to Brisbane to study. I am from tropical north queensland. I have my own bedroom furniture (bed, bedsides, 2 bookshelves and stiudy desk and chair) as well as a fridge. I am hoping to find a place that can accommodate this and hence is unurnished, Thanks. 😊
Hi, we're a couple looking for a room while we study in Brisbane. We are looking for one room together. From the U.K and Taiwan Looking for a nice relaxed house which is clean and has a good atmosphere to it
I'm looking for a self contained grannyflat or studio in the suburbs that I have listed. I'm simply a nice person. I am not a wild party person so you be sure there will be no issue with neighbors. I'm out most of the time as I'm a busy person. Please contact me if you have a self contained grannyflat or studio for me to rent (no share house!). Anytime around November is when I'm looking to move in
We are both easy going, quiet, tidy and keep to ourselves
Hi, I'm from Thailand but I can speak fluent English. I lived in Brisbane before (for 4 years) and now just move back in. I have friends and family that I can fully rely on but I just want to be independent. I'm flexible and not a very loud person. I don't smoke. I can drink but not as much (I have low alcohol tolerance and developing allergies, so I usually don't drink more than 2 glasses) I think I'm pretty easy going and at the same time confronting. So, if there's anything on my mind, I would most likely to sort it out maturely. And vice versa, I will take comments and find our middle. For fun, I usually read, watch youtube, workout, or just go out to have a walk. I do painting sometimes but that hobby comes and go.
I am employed full time as a commercial pilot, operating part-time out of a base in Brisbane, which means I would only be home 2-3 nights per week. I have an extensive history working in hospitality which means I'm clean and a good cook.
About myself I’ve got a posting for research assistant and will be working in the University of Queensland. I’m clean and tidy as well as easy going person to live with. I’m completely a non-smoker and very friendly. I’m also socially outgoing (on most days) and would love to sit and talk over drinks. I’ll respect your space and privacy and I expect the same from you. Would love to get to know people from all walks! Need a furnished room, basics will do (mattress, clothes rack or drawers).
Hi, I'm a 34 year old Canadian moving to Brisbane to study at TAFE. Although my studies start in February I'm hoping to move around mid December or early January. I'm a social person, with a diverse range of interests. I'm always mindful of the others I'm living with and don't make much noise in the house. I'm very tidy and will pitch in around the house to make sure it is clean. I plan on working part time during my studies, but also receive a pension from the Canadian government, so you can be assured rent will be paid on time, every time. My son lives in Noosa, so I will be gone most weekends to visit him. If I find a place that allows him to stay overnight on occasion that would be awesome, but if not I have other arrangements in place.
Hi I'm a 38 yr old female teacher looking to move as of now (need to be out by Feb 2019 so have flexibility with dates) . I have a lot of furniture so ideally I'd like to start a new share house in Sunnybank or surrounding areas with 2 others in 4bdrm so we have spare room and plenty of space. I'm pretty easy going. I work full time so need quiet space of an evening but also don't mind a drink or two on weekends. I am a social smoker but outdoors only. I'm looking for a long term place to settle and nice mature people to share.
I’m outgoing can be social but also love downtime especially after a longs day work, I do smoke (outside only) not much of a drinker but if was would be else where, I do work Monday to Friday 8-4! I’m respectful to others privacy but do enjoy having a yarn. Absolutely love animals. I’m also a clean person so you wouldn’t have to worry about a mess anywhere 😊
Hi my name is Jeanette I am 54 years young, and I am a happy person and easy to get along with. I have a black toy poodle named Bailee and she is 9 years old and my life, and a cat name Hemi he is a character and they are my fur babies. I am looking for a share situation as my partner and I are parting ways so now my fur babies and I are looking to start a new life with new people. I am clean and tidy, and like I said earlier I get along with most people. If you would like to know more about me then please ask. I don't quite know what else to write. I would like somewhere with a swimming pool as the heat and I are not friends at all hahahaha. Thank you in advance.
Very easy going, respectful of others, not interested in house partys, just looking for somewhere to live when im not working full time. Friendly, get on well with anybody.
I work full-time during the week and have an active social life on the weekends. When I am home I'll be relaxing watching footy. I'm easy to get along with and always down for a chat after work. Looking to live with chill people.
I’m a vegan straight edge tattooer, so I’m quiet and usually keep to myself, but I’m easy to talk to and I get along with everyone. I do have a 3 year old beautiful Staffy, so I’m in need of a nice yard with secure fencing. She is hesitant with other dogs, so a yard on her own would be preferable to avoid any scraps.
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but likely within 1-2months. Household will be amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and back/mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) in my living with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Needing to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in storing what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
Hello, My Names Reta, I’m 24 basically a simple person. I’m outgoing and very social when it comes down to having a great chat, I’m very respectful and tidy. I’m very easy going and I love sports. My biggest passion is rugby, I have played for club/Queensland and Australia ☺️. I do enjoy time alone in my own zen as I’m quite respectful of other people’s space as well but other then that I think I would make a great roomie.
Hello people on Earth. I am looking for a 1 bedroom, studio or Granny flat.I work full time I pay my rent on time.I like my space and I am very happy to discuss any issues with you.I prefer a lowset place and an ensuite if possible. Time is not important as I am here to find a suitable place.
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have a job and no pathetic money problems. (I don’t want to live with people that have to steal other people’s food or steal minor stuff to hok on eBay etc.) My girlfriend can cook excellent Thai food and we will share when we can. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I need this flexibility because I don’t want to move in to a place and then find there is drug/alcohol problems or undesirable visitors or other problems and then loose the deposit because I move out in a short time. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
Hey! A little about me... I'm in my 3rd year of a psychology degree at Griffith Uni (Mt Gravatt campus). I'll be starting honours next year which I'm pretty excited about! I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing home where I can recharge and chill. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour who enjoys a chat and a laugh, but I usually like to quietly do my own thing when I'm at home. I tend to spend lots of time in my room studying! (Super exciting, I know!) For fun, I perform improvised theatre which I've been doing for a year. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I'm also allergic to cats, so I sadly have to avoid homes with cats in them. :( I'm a respectful, considerate, and reliable person who always pays the rent/bills on time and tidies up after myself.
Doing my Masters at Griffith University and working full time so chances are I will be away for 3 days. When I'm not however, I like to cook, read, and practice piano which I recently started and trying to teach myself. I don't smoke, or drink often. I'm pretty neat person and like to be organized, and prefer to maintain the house I live in accordingly. I keep it to myself generally, but always up for a chat and night out, to know the city and people in it more.
Work and study IT. Work 9-5 most days while studying at Griffith part time. Looking to rent a place. I'm mindful of people around me and I can be as quiet or chatty as you like. I prefer staying home than going out. Shoot me a message you want to team up and find a place :)
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
I'm a young professional (Mid-20's) working in the sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy downtime with and try new activities. I'd get along best with young, active and health conscious housemates around the same age. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports Also: - Pet friendly - During my work season I'm fairly busy and frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates
