Studying and working in media made me an outgoing person who loves to socialize and listen to stories to get some more different ideas. Plus, experience taught me two things: 1- Life is much easier if you wash your dishes after finishing your food 2- Pineapple doesn't go on pizza!!!
Just started working in the city. I live clean, tidy and I try to stay organised. I like to take advantage of the weekends, heading out, seeing my friends or family, because the week is almost always a grind. I also play soccer, but I'm not any good at it. Looking forward to moving closer to work to make my life easier on those early start/late night days! Cheers :)
I'm a 34 yr old single professional looking for a new place to call home. I love being outdoors and being active, but also enjoy chilling out at home and like to cook! I am a kind, considerate & respectful person and have lived in share houses since moving to Sydney 7 years ago. Please get in touch if you think I could be a good fit :)
Hi I'm Jess I am looking for a share house for med-long term. I am 26. I work full time in Sydney CBD in a 5 star hotel chain. Monday-Friday. Very neat and tidy (actually a bit of a clean freak) love doing a bit of interior decorating. I have a fair bit of furniture which I am happy to bring along. Ideally looking for bills inclusive and need a parking space. Great cook and love to host a dinner party here and there (Vegans probably would not want to live with me as I do a great roast dinner) Use a lot of my spare time at the gym, yoga or shopping. After work I like to try different restaurants with my colleagues or just chill out with some trashy tv. I am pretty social and you will see my sarcastic humor come out once I get to know you.
Hey! My name is Santi. I was born and bred in Sydney. I would like live in a place that is like a home more than a boarding house. That being said, I will keep the place nice and clean (with the help of my housemate(s)) and want to actually get along with my housemates. That being said, I'm fairly easy going and tend to get along with everyone. I work in insolvency which keeps me fairly busy during the week so I can be a bit of a ghost but I am always up for a chat or dinners on the weekend.
Hey I'm a 22 year old from the UK working full time in a media agency and as a nanny. I'm an easy-going housemate who is both respectful and sociable. I love cooking and drink a lot of tea (keeping with the stereotype). I want a place where my housemates are willing to hang out in the evenings/at weekends rather than just retreat to their rooms all the time. I really need a place to stay as I don't want to have to go back to living in hostels (I can't deal with the lack of personal space, however fun they are...+ I've been staying in a double bed for the last few weeks and bunks just aren't as appealing anymore...) Thanks Alice :)
Hi, I’m Angela and I’m looking for a single room around the Canada Bay area. I work in Drummoyne and study in the city. I’m tidy, friendly and respectful of other people’s space.
Hi all, My friends call me Batman, as it is my last name :) I work full time as an Inventory Controls Officer *no not a police officer* I have 2 motorbikes, one is a Ducati Monster 696 and the other is a Ural Ranger (it has a sidecar). I am quite frequently out camping, fishing and motorbike riding during the weekends :) I am after a nice group of people who like to enjoy there life, are' t antisocial and like to have a couple of drinks and BBQ together every now and then :) My reasons for moving is, id like to have a place where i can walk out side, enjoy the views, close to the water, find some nice restaurants, pubs and cafe's just walking distance, meet some new people and make some new friends. instagram.com/ducstain/ Hit me up :)
I've recently started working full time as a Personal Trainer in Drummoyne and hoping to find a place to call home close by. I'm usually up well before the sunrise and in bed early so a quiet place would suit me well! I'm friendly, easy going, laid back and respectful :)
IT professional female in her early 30s. About me I eat and live healthy. Hit the gym at least 5 times a week. I have been in Sydney in the past for 7 years. During my free time I spend time reading, watching movies/series, shopping and socializing with friends. I am respectful to other people's spaces, usually I keep to myself. However, do not mind sharing a light chat with my flatmate. I cook mostly over the weekends and like to keep my home clean and tidy. You can say I am a house proud female but not OCD. Would prefer to share the place with female flatmates.
I'm a easy going social person who doesn't mind a chat but also respects others space and like to have my own. I like to like in a clean and tidy area, I like to feel comfortable where I am sleeping/living. I'm working full time as a hairdresser so work Tuesday to Saturday, my hours can be long so not around all the time and weekends i like to get out and about to explore what Sydney has to offer. I have just moved from Perth.
Hi I'm Caroline. I'm easy going, work long hours, go to dance classes 2-3 times a week, social but won't bring the party home. I like my down time and solitude as well. Love good food and wine, and a clean, lovely home. I'm independent, dependable and respectful of others' property, space and privacy.
Hey! Looking for a new place and new housemates. Currently living in the upper north shore but I'll be happy to live anywhere around Sydney as long as I can afford the rent. I work full time as an Electrical apprentice and during the week I enjoy having a social life with my mates, keeping fit and anything outdoors. I am easy going and reliable and will always respect your space and privacy.
Hi, I'm Tiph, 26, looking for a nice place to stay for a while. Clean, with friendly people, not a party house. I was in Aussie 2years ago, I'm French and speak fluent English. I like cooking, I'm friendly, positive, clean and like to share a beer at the end of the day with my flatmates. I use to share a house or room. I don't have an Aussie number yet as i'm moving in the country the 23rd of March, contact me by Email for the moment :) look forward to meet up ! Cheers :)
Hi, my name is Catherine. I am a 22 year old Australian girl who studies Marketing and Media full time at Macquarie University. I am very social and would like a to share a place with like minded people who don't mind a chat/hang out. I play basketball and netball and also love to travel and meet new people. I also love music and play in a couple of different bands (though don't worry I won't be making noise around the house). I am very respectful of other peoples space and am tidy and clean. I don't have a specific preference in move in date. This is flexible for me and so is length of stay. The place I move into does not need to be anything fancy. Only thing I ask is that I have my own private room. Hope to hear from you soon Thanks
I am equal parts courteous, neat and fun (plus reliable with bills and the other basics). I have become good friends with housemates in the past. I like a clean, friendly & communicative home environment.
What makes me a good housemate is my ability to adapt well to the people I'm with, my cleanliness is a strong point which is highly desirable quality no doubt! I'm respectful and understanding of someone that likes there privacy and on the other hand also enjoy a family atmosphere and being sociable, being involved in activities with housemates. I'm a young professional with passion and interest in health, worldly topics, travel and listening and learning. I'm originally from the beaches side of Sydney so love the water but now reside in the inner west and have so for the past 15 years, I'm a big fan of the arts and culture so I'd preferably like to stay submersed in that by staying in the inner west. Thank you Nicholas!
Hi there, We relocated from London to Adelaide 2 years ago and we just moved to Sydney, as my husband obtained a new position here. We are looking for accommodation with good transport links to the CBD and with on- or off-street car parking for residents - willing to extend our stay. We are responsible, non-smokers, hygiene conscious, respectful, polite, friendly and enjoy a good conversation! We also appreciate our own time! Thank you for taking the time to view our profile and we look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Ashaki & David
I'm a young professional working out at Macquarie Park, wanting to move so I'm closer to work and the city. I've previously lived in Drummoyne and absolutely fell in love with the area so keen to move back. I consider myself a friendly, sociable person but I also very much like 'me' time where I can just chill out in my own space. I've grown up with a mother with a slight obsession with cleaning, so I'd consider myself quite clean. I appreciate living with people who respect each others shared items as well as keeping common areas tidy. While I enjoy the occassional big night out, I'm in much more of a 'glass or two of wine with a good meal' stage of my life so not really interested in moving into a party house. I like to keep fit and healthy but am also a massive foodie so I enjoy a balanced approach to living.
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. I have a small 15yr old dog Belle. She basically sleeps all day after I walk her in the morn. She loves people and other dogs. I love fitness, go to gym 4-5 x p/w, like the occasional social drink and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day.
Hi, we're moving to Sydney from London and looking to find a great place in the inner west suburbs-Balmain/Rozelle or lower north shores area. Keen to live with like-minded, easy-going people who're sociable, keen for a laugh but also reliable and considerate of other housemates etc. About us: Mark (English) is a 28yo professional who loves his sport, likes a beer and loves to cook! Jen (Scottish) also 28, works in banking, likes going to the gym, chilling out watching tv and enjoys a cheeky gin from time to time! We're both pretty chilled out, easy to get on with and respectful of other housemates etc. Looking to find somewhere to move in from end of April. Cheers, Mark & Jen
We are a kind, considerate couple who are really busy working and studying. We are both into fitness and healthy eating and our typical routine is work, gym, healthy dinner & a bit of TV/reading before bed. We're both friendly people but love having a quiet, peaceful place to come home to.
SATAN, ...... nah just kidding but hope i got your attention.. no one's called me and I'm " sulking " so thought i'd try something different so read my blurb or your soul is at risk. Lots of smilee faces. I'm joking, seriously. I'm not even religious, jeez! so serious. Changed my rent limit from $350 to $320 to allow for "bills" LILYFIELD is my preferred location, the others are options lowering in importance the further they are away from LILYFIELD! Stupid site keeps listing Abbotsford first. Nope not first. Smilee face here. Would prefer to start a house share anew as I have a bit of furniture but open to existing ones. I'm an actor who works as a bush regenerator to pay the bills. Trying to quit smoking, badly, but NEVER smoke inside of near open doors/windows. Do not like bigotry of any kind and quite a lefty greenie who is into natural medicine (contradiction I know re smoker) but love science and modern medicine as well. Quantum physics fascinates and confuses me at the same time. Prefer one flat mate only and prefer female but open to any reasonable offer. Massive animal lover, all types right down to the smallest insect. Really want to stay in Lilyfield but the general area will be ok. Parking: don't need a secured space but do need reasonable street parking.
Hi there! My name is Elise and I'm from the United States on a Working Holiday visa. I fell in love with Sydney and the inner west and am looking for a place to live for two months starting at the end of April before I fly back home on the 4th of July. Before arriving in Australia, I worked as a paralegal and saved up to afford accommodation during my stay--however, I find the best way to meet new people and make friends is to work, so I've been keeping busy with acting and modeling jobs! I also work casually at the Sydney Opera House for a theatre company, so I have lots of stories to share! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to meeting with you!
Hi, my name is Francis. I am an 18 year old uni student studying a double degree in Politics & International Relations, and Psychology. I am a clean and tidy person that is aways willing to help out around the house, I will also be reliable in paying rent and bills on time as they come.
Easy going and easily get along with people. Clean and tidy. Like my space and do not interfere. Moving to Sydney from Adelaide for job oppprtunities. I'm absolutely cool if you have pets at home as well. I love dogs and cats:)
I'm a very considerate person, so I respect other people with high regard. Yet, I'm still someone who is always prepared for a great time, I love to hang out with others in my free time. I'm also happy to have anybody over for dinners, drinks, you name it! During the week, I am pretty busy with working in Crows Nest at Norths Basketball and studying law and commerce full time at Macquarie. Most days I'm out of the house in the morning and might not be back until later into the night. On holidays though, I do like to recharge and just relax at home. I have a girlfriend who would ideally be able to spend 1 - 2 nights with me as I would be doing the same with her. I'm happy with pets as I have grown up my whole life with them. I look forward to hearing from you.
Looking for a place to share with a room & ensuite. I currently work full time and study part time. I Enjoy going to the gym and keeping fit. I'm neat, tidy, conscientiousness, respectful of peoples space and friendly. I'm also financially reliable.
Hi Potential Future Housemate, I'm a construction professional who works long hours and plan on retiring in a few years obviously. I like to stay fit, eat healthy and live in a clean fresh environment. I like things in their place and a very hygienic kitchen and bathroom. I spend most weekends adventuring around Australia mixing work and sightseeing. Raised a farm kid so can deal with any creepy crawlies, animals etc. which may cause concern. I'm an open book so if you'd like to ask any questions to suss me out, fire away. Regards, Peter.
I've been living in Sydney for 4 months, I'm working in the media industry on a work holiday visa. When i'm not at work I enjoy exercising (climbing, lifting, running, hiking), cooking, going to gigs, socialising with friends over beers, playing board games, checking out museums and galleries, and discovering new places around me.
Looking to move any time around mid April 2017. The next time I can check out rooms is early April as I'm away until then. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
I am in my late 20's, im from country NSW and have been living in Sydney around 2 years. I work full time in North Sydney. Im pretty bubbly and chilled. I am respectful, neat, tidy and quiet. I like my privacy and respect my housemates privacy. I am the kind of housemate you will barely notice is even living there most of the time. I am pretty easy going and dont like to fuss about the small stuff. I dont particularly like living with indoor pets though. I work full time and do shift work so i mostly am only home to cook, do washing and sleep. On my days off i can be sociable if im home but i mostly visit family so am usually away on my days off. I can sleep through a fair bit of noise and i am quiet when coming home at strange hours so my shift work is not an inconvenience for my housemates, in fact sometimes with showers and cooking it is better. I like to eat healthy and am trying to get fit or fitter ;), would be happy to have a new healthy lifestyle buddy. My sisters very rarely visit but if they were i would definitely pre arrange. Looking for fun, happy, chilled housemates to live with.
We're both very easy going individuals, who love going out and experiencing new things. I'm a sports lover with a particular emphasis on football, rugby, cricket, golf and cue sports, whilst Zoe loves swimming and sketching.
Looking for a place within 10 mins from a train station.I have just crossed 30 and working fulltime in the construction industry.I prefer quiet weekends and a serene vibe over a busy weekend. I enjoy going for a walk out in the open and relaxing with couple of beers.I dont like to cook so i prefer take aways or frozen food.I am always ready for going out for a nice meal in that sense.I like to keep my house/flat clean and not messy. Its just easier that way.
Hey! My name is Amy and I'm a 20 year old university student. I am studying international studies at UNSW and work two jobs in the city. I am properly house trained meaning I know how to clean up after myself. Can't wait to hear from you :)
An Englishman living abroad who is trying to find a friendly bunch of people to live with and hopefully have some great times ! Working full time as a project manager in Balmain and looking to move in to a place where my housemates are after a friend as well as someone to live with. Love trying new and exciting foods and more importantly cooking for people so if you've had a long day at work, there's a good chance it could be made easier. A big fan of going for a few beers after work or having a nice glass of wine whilst watching some weird and wonderful TV series on Netflix or Stan. My speciality is British Comedy so hopefully we can chuck a few dvds in when we run out of episodes on Netflix. Spend a lot of time in the week at work and looking at joining the gym/a rugby team in the local area so therefore won't be around loads in the week but I do have occasional weekends at home so would like to see new and exciting places around Australia. Very open to meeting people who are after someone to join them on their adventures but also understand having your own time is important ! Especially after a long week. Anyway, I hope to hear from you all and if you would like to know anything else, I'm an open book !
Hi all, My name is bella, I'm 23 and am working full time in the TV industry and am looking to move closer to the city and reduce some travel time. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a glass of wine every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. I would be interested in a team up and trying to find a place and start off fresh in a new place. If you would be up for something like that definitely message me and we can go from there. Feel free to message me and we can have a chat and see what works! Thanks, bella
