Just a friendly, honest 43 year old single male. I keep to myself, I don't smoke or do drugs. Only an occasional social drinker. Will be starting a full-time cookery course at regency tafe for 2 years starting in July...so you may have to be my Guinea pigs when I'm trying new recipes. I only need a small room for myself with a bed and maybe a desk. Internet is not important, but it'd be a bonus if it was included. I generally keep to myself, but if you get to know me, I'll talk your ear off. :) My budget is pretty small, so please take that into consideration. Hope to talk to you soon!
Hello, My name is Alice! The lease on my current share house is ending and we've decided to part ways, I've been living in it for over a year. I ideally want to keep to Prospect and the surrounding suburbs, as I love it here and never want to leave. I will be studying come July and am currently volunteering for two organisations. A heads up, one of these require me to be on call 8pm-8am, occasionally. I'm a fantastic cook and I'm very clean and tidy. I would love to cook for my housemates as I've not yet had the chance. I'm also big on recycling and composting. I'm happy in my own company but I can be equally sociable and would be very happy to have a glass of vino or dinner with you. I enjoy going out for coffee, visiting art galleries and a night out in town from time to time! My interests include; art collecting/galleries, going antiquing and op-shopping, watching indie and foreign films, listening to and collecting music, trying new restaurants and I love gardening-I'm not joking when I say I have 32 pot plants. The lease is technically ending on the 20th but I am available to move from approx the 6th. I know as well as you that looking for a new housemate can be an awkward and sometimes tedious job, but just like you I'm trying to make it as pain free as possible. Please feel free to ask me any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting you! P.s. I have 2 (retro) armchairs and a couch if you're looking for them, as well as a house mate.
I am an international student at UniAdelaide who moved from Canada last semester, I transferred my degree so I'm not an exchange/study abroad/temporary student. I'm loving Adelaide so far! I love forming good bonds with the people I am living with so that we live as friends and not just as housemates. I am very neat and clean and respect other's privacy. I would love to live with people who share the same views, especially regarding cleanliness. A relatively quiet person who loves reading, cooking and baking, so frequent free tasty treats are given. You'll often find me curled on a bean bag cradling a book. Also, I love plants and gardening and going on impromptu adventures to explore the wilderness, camping, hiking or a sunset by the beach. (that's Hallet cove trail on the photo on a rainy day, thought I could outwit Adelaide weather mood swings) I don't mind having a night chat over a cup of tea and catch up every once in a while. :) Seeking a party-free, non-smoking, no-pets household; although, I wouldn't mind a cat. Contact me only if you're looking for/ listing all-female flats. Thanks!
I am a fulltime manager at a restaurant. I am easy going, carefree and reliable! However I clean up after myself and always like to have my room clean and tidy.
Hi guys! my name is Juniper and I'm 23 years young, I'm a transgender female who enjoys time to myself (but I'm also one to hang out with everyone!). I'm a freelance makeup artist and I am currently studying at TAFE. I'm a friendly person and polite but at the same time I'm usually very quiet and I often keep to myself unless I'm talked to. I'm looking for a room to move into that is LGBT+ friendly within the next two weeks! Looking forward to meeting all you potential room mates!
G'day! I currently study part time and work part time and have my own car. I always clean after myself and love having a good chat. I have no pets. In terms of living with me, i always prioritise my bills over anything else and if there are any issues, confrontation is no issue and I love constructive criticism. Banter is a huge yes so roasting me is completely acceptable and I pretty much love a good laugh. Although we all need our time to ourselves i'm very flexible with most things and don't mind any changes if we talk about it first. If i'm not working or studying i'm usually doing exercise or sport, gaming, reading, or enjoying life with mates. Just looking for a reliable, affordable place. :)
My partner and I are both honest, very motivated. We are a hard working couple who definitely have a fun&energetic attitude to everyday life. Always happy to help out wherever and with whatever we can. Itd be ideal to find a house that we could make into our home or to move into a house that already feels like a home. We keep a clean and tidy house and take a lot of pride in the surroundings of where we call home. We tend to like to spend our spare time at home(Doing homely stuff) & when ever we have the chance too&when the weather allows it,it’s so nice to get outside for bbqs or simply just to get out there to do the gardens. We’re both just very down to earth people who have a great outlook on life. Im definitely happy&confident when I say “That we are both very easy people to get along with/whether it be as a landlord or as flat mates:)
I'm Sal, a 20 year old musician, artist and poet and I'm moving to the University of Adelaide in July to study studio production and poetry. I'm from England, I love animals and being creative and I can't wait to live in the sun. I'm tidy, friendly and respectful. I love festivals, art galleries, long walks, theatre etc!
I'm a very social person who is always up for a laugh/beer. I'm not the kind of a person who counts his apples in the fridge and more than happy to share stuff. I'm always happy to help others to the best of my ability and totally accustomed to living in shared accommodations as i've lived in shared houses in UK and Australia before. I'm moving from Delhi to Adelaide between 1st - 10th July 2018 and looking for a furnished room close to city in a shared house with like minded people. I'm happy to live with any gender.
I'm a casual relief teacher (but get work most weekdays), along with working on some online ventures. Also a keen soccer player and enjoy going out having a few drinks on the weekend. Very respectful, and introverted at times, so definitely not the loud and annoying type many of you dread getting stuck with :)
I am someone who does or tries nearly everything, maybe not watch telly or do things on the net so much (though I watch sport a bit). I’m a potter, footy player, musician, gardener, board gamer, camping lover, beer fancier and lots of other things.
Hi! I'm a 34 year old English teacher and quality assurance manager from Iran. I'm going to be seeking a job and settle in Australia for an indefinite length of time My planned date of arrival is May, 7. I'm sociable, athletic and outgoing (takes time to break the ice). Disciplined, neat and interested in having evening drinks with friends. Love to hang out with friendly nice people.
hi my is bianca, I think I would make a great roommate as majority of the time I am either working or in gym. I am up for socialising though and am always eager to make new friends. easy going person who is pretty chilled with whatever. love dogs so wont mind if you have one either. look forward to finding myself some roomies with like minded attitudes
I'm an easy going person that works full-time as an Uber driver. I'm very clean, tidy and respectful of others. Moving from Wollongong to Adelaide because all of my family is moving. I don't drink or smoke..im more into fitness and sports.
I have recently gained a new job in Adelaide (Northgate) so I am seeking a pet friendly room to rent preferably near by. I'm not real familiar with the area but basically dont want anything anymore further out North. I have lived in share houses before so I'm considerate and respectful of others, in return I would expect the same. I'm one to clean up after myself and my dog so that wont be an issue. I'm easy to get along with and wont hide in my room like a hermit. At the moment I am working at a gym, for a footy club and I also do remedial massage. ( I study too) I'm not much of a party animal and prefer more low key weekends. Indy is a 5-6yo staffy cross who is very well behaved. A place with another dog for company would be great although this isn't a deal breaker If she is the only dog she will get lonely and want to be inside with me when I'm home so all housemates/owner would need to be OK with that. Secure fencing is a must! and no unfortunately no cats If your place sounds like it may be suitable send me a message! Thanks Haley
I am mature age with own furniture. Unfortunately my art deco "heritage listed" home of the last 10 years has been knocked down and I have to find a place for myself and possessions. (I can't do without my big screen TV's, computer equipment or 16 drawer office furniture, but can put the rest in storage if need be). I am single, have references spanning many years and would like to view properties pending initial chat/conversation. I would prefer to live quietly in a home with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Please let me know of a time agreeable to discuss possibilities. Kind Regards, Michael .
I'm super chill about basically anything as long as everyone cleans up after their own mess. I play video games, listen to music, cook good food and go to the gym; whenever I'm not working. I'm pretty open minded and willing to try new things or go out for a drink on the weekend. Looking for someone to live with for at least 12 months with close access to the O-Bahn (or near the city) as I work in the CBD. Hoping to move around July 25- August 7(at latest). If you want to catch up for a drink just to chat about the possibility and see if we can mesh well, message me here or send a text Cheers
Hi, my name is Damien. I'm a 19 year-old international student from Malaysia, and will be studying in UniSA(Mawson Lakes) starting this July. I have been living in a sharehouse ever since arriving in Adelaide last October. I am looking for a room close to the CBD so I have easier access to public transport to Mawson Lakes. I am looking to move 1 July. My hobbies include netflix, playing my nintendo switch and listening to music.
Hello future housemates, My name is Ali, I'm from Dubai, practically born and raised there but life is all about new chapters and I'm moving to Adelaide in mid July with my wife to start a new chapter. I'm a Marketing & Advertising professional and will be looking for a job in Adelaide. I've studied from the University of Wollongong, have great linguistic skills (actually know 5 languages), if you're interested you could probably learn a new language :) Ayesha is also from Dubai, born and raised there and was a BBA student before we decided to move cities. Hopefully once we are settled she'll continue her Bachelors degree in Adelaide. However before that she'll probably be looking for work and enjoys cooking. My wife and I love to keep things tidy and always clean up after ourselves, having said that we'll do the dishes, laundry, clean up the place, etc. I love sports, whether that's playing, watching or discussing, I also try to keep fit so you wont have a couch potato as a housemate, however Netflix and chill doesn't sound like such a bad idea. We enjoy getting to know new people and will ensure you are comfortable during our stay together. Having said that we can stay to ourselves and keep the volume down so wont get in your way if you prefer that. Either way respect is what matters most :) We are all in for a team-up and starting a new place, share the utilities expenses and what not. Look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
