Looking for a place preferably with own bathroom. I work long hours in the health sector. Do not smoke or drink. A tidy person and very respectful of others. Born in the. Cook Islands. Enjoy cooking and gardening.
I come from Sudan and grew up here in Qld. I work in logistics full time. I am a clean, easy going person who enjoys being around others. I spen most weekends out and about with friends and family. I also do a lot of training in the gym durning the week. I am trustworthy person, clean and with humour.
Recently separated and am looking for a place for the short (6 months or so) term while I weigh up my options. I have a daughter but she stays with her mum in the house that we still share ownership of. I am neat, quite and generally keep to myself. Enjoy keeping fit, frequently running around the lake and eating well.
Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. I have my own furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. Air-con or ceiling fans would also be nice. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $140 per week including all utilities, where I am currently living in Acacia Ridge and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. (Written References of this are available for verification purposes, if required.) When I am working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet and utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am also a "Hard Core Gamer" (when I have the time) so finding other like minded people for LAN nights is always a plus. I also have a 4WD (which is my pride and joy) that I am currently restoring, so finding a place with a large backyard or acreage block with a large shed for storing my camping gear and my car parts would be helpful and appreciated. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I am also a smoker and am happy with either smoking outside or inside (I burn incense to keep the place smelling nice). I am however, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. I am happy to pitch in and help with yard mowing duties or other chores if required and am always willing to help my flatmates with things if they need it. Cheers!
I'm Jess, a science communicator who recently moved to Brisbane to start a masters at UQ. I'm a pretty interesting person, having worked as a wildlife educator at a zoo, in communications for a non profit and also in a hiking store. I'd love to house share with some respectful, easygoing people of any age / background (non-smoking preferred) within an easy distance of UQ St Lucia campus. As far as roommates go I'm very down to earth. I'm an environmentally conscious vegetarian who loves cooking and farmers markets (I don't mind living with non-veggos in the least). I love tea, coffee, wine, music (listening and playing), lazy sundays, great books and conversations, yoga, and illustrating. I also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy getting out on weekends going running, hiking, camping, kayaking etc. I own both a 4WD and a beautiful border collie (currently in VIC), and I am hoping to soon move her to QLD so it's really important to me that any house share be in a pet friendly property with a fully fenced yard, that any other dogs are friendly and flea treated and there is a veranda or indoor space for my dog to sleep (I'm really worried about cane toads!). I'm a very respectful dog owner, my dog is incredibly well trained (think loads of cool tricks) and well exercised (runs/walks everyday), I keep her off furniture and out of flatmates rooms and I flea and worm her regularly. She's without a doubt the sweetest, laziest, cuddliest and smartest dog you'll meet. For a border collie shes quite small and shy, she loves nothing better than a good snooze in her basket while I study, as well as playing with toys and eating cheese. I'd prefer a house with nice kitchen and bathroom facilities, some form of parking and within an easy distance (either cycling, driving or public transport) from UQ. If you're interested in teaming up for a house share, have a room available and wouldn't mind an adorable pupper and her responsible / friendly owner to share with, please please please contact me! xx Jess
I have a perfect balance of being by myself in my own space and being in a social environment with the rest of the house. I'm well kept and always want to make sure the house is tidy and clean. I enjoy everything from sports to music as well as games of every sort and have a good taste in Tv and movies. I never cross boundaries and always look out for others who need a mate they can count on.
-Professional female -Works Full time -Neat, tidy -Quiet and I will treat your home as if its my home I'm looking for a granny flat, studio apartment or one bedroom apartment, not interested in shared houses and would prefer my own place.
We are Nikita and Finn. We are looking for a group of friendly and earthy folk offering a permanent home in a leafy area. Finn likes the outdoors, lots of cuddles and kisses, making friends and sleeping. I manage a little organic cafe and spend my other time cooking, dancing, and spontaneously just having an awesome time. I would really love to find a space that offered a lot of privacy and natural environment, within a social and loving household. We have been living alone together in a beautiful apartment for some time, but as the lease renewal approaches we have become more interested in changing scenery and meeting some new people.
Hi, my name is Ashley. I am 25 and have just moved to Brisbane. I work in Toowong and don't have a car yet so looking for somewhere that it is easy to get to work. I'm tidying and easy to get along with.
We are a couple who used to work in Singapore, just recently migrated to Brisbane and is now looking for a place to stay near work. We can easily get along with people. A non smoker couple. Tidy and organise
My name is Kate, I'm a 28 year old student/pensioner who is looking for a room to rent, preferably longer term, with my little dog Eddie (a jack russell cross who loves nothing more than to spend the day cuddling) and my lorikeet Blaze. My favourite hobby is going for rides on my motorcycle, especially on nice twisting country roads. I also like drawing and painting, and I'm a reasonably good guitarist too. I'm due to finish my degree in youth work at the end of July and plan to start working as soon as I finish. Currently I'm getting disability support payments and I'm also volunteering part time to keep my skills up. I have been renting for 7 years and I have always paid my rent and bills on time so no issues there. Eddie is a really sweet little dog, he loves people as well as other dogs and cats. He's around two years old, is fully house-trained and rarely barks. He's a mostly inside dog while I'm home, sleeps a lot of the day (usually on my bed) and likes playing with other dogs, toys and especially in water. He would love it if there was somewhere outside to fit a little shell pool for him to play in. Blaze spends most of his days whistling, singing, and playing with/talking to his toys. He's friendly and loves people interacting with him, even through the cage bars. He loves music and is a good little dancer. He lives in a decent sized cage that I like to keep beside my desk (as that's where I spend most of my home time). I'm looking for somewhere to live longer term (at least a year) and for an unfurnished bedroom. I also have a little futon couch and a fridge to bring with me that can either be used or stored in a garage if not needed.
I generally cook too much food so I'm happy to share my leftovers, I'm clean and tidy,I love to travel and have lots of cool stories that you can tell your friends which will in turn make you more popular among your peers. if you need any more reasons I'm pretty good at improvisation so can interview me at your earliest or latest convenience. also I play football(soccer)/Guitar(quietly) and a few other cool instruments and sports. So by now I know you want to swipe right (does this app have that?) Kind regards, Jon
I am very house proud and neat and tidy. I am honest and easy going. I keep to myself a lot but always welcome a chat and a laugh. I have a 10 year old daughter that stays with me every other weekend and school holidays. I love to garden and have all the bits and pieces to make the yard wonderful. I would prefer my own bathroom
We're both bubbly out going people, always there to have a laugh and smile our day away. I'm John, a 24 Y.O New Zealand/English male, Tattoo's all over, rough looking dude but the kindest/nicest person you'll ever meet. I'm a fulltime car detailer & will be shortly building a detailing shop in Wacol so I'll be working long hours trying to get that running with my boss. Chantelle, 22, female & absolutely amazing fun to be around and my future wifey hahah. She's a kind loving person with a heart of gold, always see's the positives in thing no matter how hard things get, always down for a laugh and I know she could get along with anyone she met. She's currently working as a sales person in the city for a healthy food company & is currently loving it, she also runs a photography business so she's always busy as well. We respect people's space and generally like to keep a happy environment. Note: Chantelle won't always be staying, I've just added her in here so people get the idea she might be staying for a few days here and there.
