Hi, I'm Benjamin! I will be moving to Adelaide in the beginning of October for an internship of 7 months at the University of South Australia. I am looking for a nice shared place within commutable distance to the university. I consider myself to be respectful and easy to get along with. I've been living in shared houses before and know how to do my share to keep the house nice and tidy. In my free time I like spending time outdoors, doing sports, cook, read, watch a movie and I like to socialize. I am ideally looking for like-minded people and a place I feel comfortable calling home. If you think I sound like a good fit, I'd be happy to talk further :)
My name is Andrew and I work in a Primary school as a well-being and Numeracy coordinator. I am into fitness and super passionate about music. I am in a band and love to play acoustic guitar(don't worry I won't turn the house into a live music venue :) I love to travel and enjoy a nice glass of wine to relax. I am a social person but also like my own space at times. I have a wicked sense of humour, am easy going and always remain positive and open-minded. I am a property owner but I am choosing to rent my house out in an effort to get closer to my work. Ideally I would I would like to live with one other person but if the house is a decent size two would be fine. Please let me know if you would like to team up or have a room in a place that may suit!
Mid 40s relocating from far south west NSW am and looking for accommodation after selling my home. My dog and I are looking for somewhere whilst I save to purchase another home. I plan on returning to University (Sociology) and working part time (Nursing). I am fairly quiet and very easy to get along with. I much prefer humour over drama. I unfortunately still enjoy a cigarette and am happy to be banished outdoors to indulge in my otherwise filthy habit. My dog is a four year old Shar-Pei named George. At first he is a little apprehensive with strangers, but soon settles and is fairly laid back. He only barks when it is absolutely necessary, is fully house trained, obedient and has enjoyed being both an indoor and outdoor dog. I will be able to pay at least three months rent in advance, possibly more.
Hello! My name is Jamesina and I'm 25, working full time in the city as a dental assistant. I like to think of myself as a very reliable, friendly, tidy person who is easy to get along with and enjoys a healthy lifestyle. For fun I enjoy going out for Sunday brunches, horse riding and watching GoT 😁 I'm ideally looking for a place that is north to east of the city quite close to the CBD, max $350 a week, and have everything to furnish a house. An animal lover is a must, as I have two adorable fur babies- one hairless cat and one hairy cat! Looking forward to hearing from prospective housemates ☺️
Hi, my name is Zahra i am 22 year old full time student, originally from Afghanistan. I am currently studying at Thebarton Senior College completing my year 12 and planning to go to TAFE next year for 'Police Studies". I am unemployed at the moment due to focusing on year 12 but i will be looking for employment in the Christmas holidays and in the meantime have a reliable Centrelink income that can cover the rent and expenses. I am interested in sport and although i don't play any sport at the moment, i would like to join in and learn soccer and basketball once i have some settled, stable accommodation. I am a quiet person, very focused on my studies but i am also very friendly too. I love things being clean and am looking for housemates who share this view. I am looking for accommodation with other female students or professionals around my age. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you soon :) Zahra
I'm an independent student with a part time job at Boost Juice. I am a responsible, friendly, clean and outgoing person to live with. I am 17 years old, with an Australian (Caucasian) nationality. I'm pretty laid back, down to earth, easy to get along with and understand the definition of personal space. I have my P's and my own car but I would still prefer nothing to far from school and work. I'm receiving youth allowance as well as getting income from work. My budget is roughly $150-160 with included utilities. I would prefer to live with all females. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about myself. Thank you. :)
I'm easy to get along with, considerate of others and reasonable home cook. I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed and draws. Preferably with built in but can manage without if needed.
Hi i am mukhtar and i am 19 years old. I have a full time job , so you wont be able to see me during the day. I am a very honest and reliable guy. I would love to go to gym, running and hangout with friends in my spare time. cheers
Hi my name is Liam and I'm a full time student. I am a friendly and tidy person who is looking to move to Adelaide. I always clean up after myself and I've lived in sharehouses before so I know the rules of communal living. I am looking to work as soon as possible to supplement my student payments. I like socialising but I enjoy my own downtime every now and then. I like having a couple of drinks on the weekend, playing games, beach, gaming and watching movies.
Socially out-going and fun personality. I am up for any challenge and I am also a fan of meeting new people and to talk basically any desired topic. But at the same time, I am also very considered with other people's privacy as well, so don't worry I respected your so-called "alone time".
I'm a low maintenance chick with a pretty easy going life style. I work night shifts and am rarely ever home. Looking for a house filled with laughter up until January (ish) next year!
I am a permanent resident in South Australia looking for a new place to move into this year as my lease is ending. I am friendly, happy to share house or apartment with others and I don't mind couples living together. I respect everyone's privacy and I am willing to learn to live with everyone. If there is anything you don't like about me, I am very happy to hear out your opinion.
27 years of age and I've lived well beyond my years. I have been independent since the age of 15, renting a number of private rentals over the years and prior to moving to Adelaide, a housing trust home. I have a number of references who were more than willing to vouch for me I tend to remain a solitary person however I come out of my shell and mingle when I'm with like minded people. I'm currently studying art therapy and running a small online business solutions company from home. Due to the nature of the business I don't need to have clients come to me so my office space is contained to my desk. My passion is creating awareness around mental illness and I'm working towards becoming a peer worker in the future. I love to create! Whether it be with food, woodwork, painting/art therapy, quirky gifts or something to personalise my space such as unique decore pieces. But don't let this scare you off, I have respect for others boundaries and I like to keep a tidy household. Finding someone to contribute with housework on a roster would be great. My animals are my foundation and I would prefer to be homeless with them; rather than to part from them. Both in their senior years (8/9) and my dog being a survivor of a hit run; needs to be in a secure and preferably a smaller sized yard but this is not a necessity. Turbo is my goofy friendly Ridgeback, who thinks he is a lap dog and is stuck to me like a shadow. Batman the cat always makes friends with our neighbohrs and housemates. He's a cat hater converter! I'm living proof! Haha. It goes to show how well behaved they are when a landlord approved my application in the past, based on how well mannered they were with me. Complementing all of our characters and when the lease expired he thanked us for leaving the house in better condition than what it was originally in. I'm quite a flexible, reasonable and non-judgemental person who can adapt quite easily to my living environment and I'm an advocate for mutual respect and open communication.
I am an international student from Kenya. I am an organized, mature and responsible person who is friendly and sociable. my hobbies are watching movies, outdoor adventurous activities as well as a bit of reading.
Hi, I am looking for share house or someone who may be interested in renting a 'new' 2 - 4 bed place with me. I like relaxing in a clean & tidy place, with mature easy going people, male or female. Any quiet area of Adelaide & reasonably close to shops & public transport . I have some furniture. A built in wardrobe in the bedroom would be good. I am friendly, clean, respectful of others and like to live a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't live with cats or other animals inside the house and prefer no carpet though its ok in bedrooms. I rarely watch tv as have other things to occupy me. I'm quiet but also enjoy socialising. I'm a bookkeeper and studying and in the process of moving from Brisbane to Adelaide sometime after the end of 'July 2017'. I stay in Adelaide regularly though where I am is too far from the city. I'm looking forward to getting established in Adelaide.
I'm moving over to South Australia in November from New South Wales to study next year and am looking for a place to stay while I'm there. I'm quiet and respectful of others. I like to cook and keep fit either at the gym or outdoors.
My current lease finishes on 30th October but can give 4 weeks notice at anytime. I am vision impaired but am independant and people I live with would not be expected to take on role as a carer or provide any assistance. Now with that out of the way I love being around people! I have previously been a host of couchsurfing.com since 2008 and helpx.net since 2015 (both are free accommodation sites that promote cultural exchange and community) I also for sometime have been a airbnb host. Therefore I am use to sharing the rental where I have lived over the years with others from Australia and abroad and have enjoyed interacting with others from various walks of life. I have a very friendly, caring, generous nature and am easy to get along with. I am also frugal when it comes to saving money and I am very arty crafty so always trying out ways of saving money. Once I move from current abode I will not be continuing to being a host as I don't want that to be a stumbling block to me finding somewhere to move too. I will disable hosting profile on those sites. Fully aware that now I am moving into situation of sharing on a ongoing basis with others I have to be prepared to make some adjustments and sacrifices. I like animals but do not have any of my own at the point in time. I love to socialise but am not a party animal and do not drink or smoke. Until I get to know a person I can be a bit quite at first. I am vision impaired and do have Epilepsy but am very independent. Epilepsy is well controlled by medication and on the odd occasion I do have a seizure I tend to self manage as most of the time they are at night. I do all my own cooking, washing, and housework. As stated earlier people I am sharing with would not be expected to be my carer or provide me with any assistance needed in anyway. I pay someone to provide me with any extra support I need.
