I recently started an IT job in the city and am looking for a place that will allow to get to work easily. At the moment I am not at home a lot of the time as I work full time and train most weeknights after work. I am clean, organised, and respectful of others and their space. When at home I mostly like to chill out and listen to/play music. I'd much rather have interesting conversations and adventures with people than sit around watching TV. I will soon be doing some training for my job in Melbourne for a few weeks so will not be available to start renting until around the 20th of October.
My name is Jon and I am currently at Canberra University which is located at Southbank. I am 24 and enjoy a few quiet drinks and some great company. I am respectful and easy going and enjoy making new friends and career driven and currently un-going an internship.
I work full time in digital communications for an insurance company and I'm doing my masters in HR. During the week I'm a creature of habit, I like cooking and I try to get to art classes every now and then too. On weekends I like going to brunch, checking out local gigs and bingeing Netflix. Clubbing isn't my thing but I like to unwind with a drink on a Friday afternoon. I'm looking for somewhere long term and a happy household, I'd much rather be friends with the people I live with instead of strangers passing in the night. I don't have one yet but I'm hoping to get a puppy at my next home. If you think I'd be a good fit feel free to shoot me a message :) **please no couples**
Hi guys, I'm a 31 year old female working a full time in Geebung at same job for 7 years. Rented place on my own before so I'm reliable with bills and house maintenance, but also lived in sharehouses too so know to be tidy, friendly and respectful. I've got no pets, though I'm a cat person and like dogs who are polite (ie don't jump up, lick, hump, bark, etc). Non-smoker, non-'partier', no drugs. Weeknights I'm usually cooking, watching Netflix and making use of the bathtub. On weekends, I'm usually out and about, going to church (Christian), avoiding the dreaded laundry and relaxing around the house. I'm after a place in a quiet area and a house with enough living spaces to number people. I like nature, so prefer a backyard or deck that has a bit of greenery, or close to a park. Bathtubs are a bonus. Just thought I'd put it out there (may as well be upfront, right?), I'm not on Tinder so I'll have no randoms staying over, but also prefer to live with others of the same mindset.
Hey I am looking for a few friendly, respectful and working/studying people to team up to rent a sharehouse. About me: I am working full time in Carsendale and studying at UQ (IT, PHD), so it would be nice to team up with some students or professionals. I am a hard worker, but don't mind to socialise from time to time. I don't smoke and hardly ever drink alcohol. I am a clean, reliable, easy going person and respect others' privacy. I enjoy hiking and bush-walking as well as conversations with a cup of tea :-) Feel free to contact me if you keen to team up or have a spare room.
Hi, I'm Heday. I'm working full time in Bracken Ridge. My cat (adult male DSH) and I need a place to stay from mid June to early July onwards in the listed suburb or surrounding areas. Both of us mostly spends time outside at girlfriends but need 2 weeks block every few months while her parents are staying her house. Im usually staying in my room but don't mind occasional chat with nice drink or meals. Thank you for considering!! Looking forward to hearing from anyone!!
Very easy going and friendly. Happy to keep to myself most of the time but do enjoy a few mangoes here and there. I work overnight shifts at hospitals 3-4 nights a week, with shifts at the Sunshine Coast Friday and Saturday nights. Will spend most of my days sleeping until the early afternoon and a lot of mornings out fishing. Have a girlfriend that is very busy and will stay over max 1-2 nights a week when I'm not working.
I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. I've tried to change the settings on my profile but it didn't work so my apologies if you were searching for a flatmate. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
Happy, positive and fit person. Clean and tidy so looking for a room mate likewise 😊! Quite reserved during my busy weekdays but happy to socialise on weekends 😊! Respectful of people's space, quietness, property and privacy👌. Looking for a modern new property with private bathroom and no more than 2 other room mates please xx
Trustworthy, honest, clean living, non-smoker. Enjoy cooking, socialising. Relocated from Darwin NT, after 50 years & working 22 years for State Government. Working full time Federal Government. Enjoy walking, swimming, going to the gym.
I am a generally open and accepting person. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and appreciate people who do the same. i am the sort of person who makes the effort to be communicative, and much prefer to settle any sort of disagreement with a thorough discussion and coming up with a reasonable solution. I am currently at the end of repeating grade 12, as I had to drop out of school last year due to extenuating circumstances. After I graduate, I am planning to work for an indefinite period. My reason for leaving home is bad family circumstances, and not feeling the ability to grow and mature in my current situation, as well as using the opportunity to better my mental health. I am up for a good conversation, but also have my days when I am more reserved. Similarly, I respect when people want the same. In my spare time I spend most of my time either with friends, cooking, watching some tv, reading the occasional book. Be forewarned, I am very outspoken, and prefer to be around people who are not afraid to share their opinions. I do not function particularly well with people who are shy, as I find it difficult to gauge how they are feeling. I also have a bad habit of falling asleep in weird places. I also swear like a sailor, so if you don't like swearing I will not be a good roommate.
Hi. I currently have a room available in a rented home at Albany Creek. The lease is ending at the end of Sept 17, so I am looking for someone to share the home using that room and also to then together find a new home to rent. We could also relocate before the end of Sept. The curent home is great and to read more about it and about myself, look at the property listing (on this same web page) for Cordia Crt Albany Creek.
Hey! I'm looking to move out within the next few weeks, ideally as soon as possible, before 1st of October :) Preferably all bills included and great Internet, if bond is flexible that would be even better, but I am pre approved for a bond loan if required. Furnished with a desk would be great! I'm currently successfully self employed as a Virtual Assistant and on newstart payments while looking for fulltime work (or making my business full time) after moving back from Melbourne in March. I will be working from home but no clients visit so a desk in my room would be helpful. If you are interested let me know, I'm clean and tidy and respectful of my surroundings. Im a quiet person, I don't party and I'm not noisy, hoping to find a place that welcomes friends over for dinner once in a while. Thanks!
