Hello possible future flatmates! Here's a little bit about us :) Alex and I are a very relaxed couple, we've been dating nearly 6 months now so we figured we would give this living together thing a go! Me (Ashleigh): - 18 years old. - I'm a first year student at QUT Kelvin Grove Campus studying Human Services. - Lover of music, food, plants and animals. - Very social but I know the importance of personal space especially when living with others. - I love to cook, especially baked goods; cakes/banana bread and stuff like that. Alex: - 20 years old. - Loves gaming and cars. - Works full time and is currently doing a trainee-ship located in Morayfield. - Is a current smoker but he's making an effort to quit. Both of us are fairly busy most weekdays with Alex working 5 days a week and me being a full time student so there's a pretty big chance we won't be around much anyway. We're sensible, tidy and quiet but we're always down for the occasional shared dinner or drinks or whatever happens really. If we sound like a good fit for your place chuck me a message and we can organize something! We look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm 19 and am looking for a place to live. I work full time as a flight attendant and am looking for somewhere close to the aiport and a train and bus line. I am fully independent as my mum lives in the UK and my dad has moved interstate so I'm all alone in Brisbane. I'm really respectful. I am very neat and tidy and love to have a chat but can leave you alone when you need privacy. I'm also very keen to start a house share and get together 3 or 4 people
I am looking for a place for myself and my 8 year old golden retriever after a relationship separation. She is placid and quiet and doesn't need a lot of room, just a little grass and sufficient shelter from sun and rain. I need somewhere that is unfurnished and Would prefer to find a granny flat or seperate area of a place to rent by myself. I am clean and tidy, respectful and quiet. Am looking north brisbane or Sunshine Coast area.
I am an 18 year old full time uni student, who owns the friendliest cat you'll ever meet. I have a bubbly and fun personality, and I'm easy to get all long with. I am a part timer with Woolworths, so between work and study, I'll hardly be home to rack up the power bill haha! I'm looking to move around uni end of semester (June?) in a teamup with 2 other people. I'm looking to move anywhere between Northlakes and Chermside with houses being no more than $400 a week - between 3 people, approx $130 per week (exc bills) is within my price range 😊. Preferably looking for females, non smoker, 18+, who have their own car, license, and stable job. 😊 So if you're interested, please let me know and we shall house hunt together :) Otherwise, I am also looking at rooms for rent.
My Name is Stacey I am 32. I am very bubbly and fun but know when to keep to myself. I have a cattle dog named Lucy who is well trained and won't annoy you cause she pretty much sticks by me She also enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. I am a clean person and don't mind doing my fair share of house work. Cheers, Stacey.
Hi! I'm Stacey :) I will be relocating from Gladstone to Brisbane for work opportunities at the end of April/start of May. I'd ideally like to live on the north side, but am flexible with areas, pending they are a safe area/neighbourhood. I am looking to team up with 1-2 other females to create a new sharehouse in a newish furnished apartment/townhouse or rent a room (preferably one with own bathroom) with someone similar in age. As I will be new to Brissy and not knowing many people, I am looking for someone that I can get along/hangout with not just as a housemate but as a friend, but also respect each other's privacy. I am looking for someone that would be ok with having family/friends stay when they travel to Brisbane to visit. I'm a very clean and tidy person and like to live in a well kept house. I am a non-smoker & not a big drinker.
Hi! I am easy going, tidy and active person. I am vegetarian, non-smoker, non- alcoholic person pretty busy in my job. ( not a party person). My job timings vary everyday as I am a shift worker, sometime I start work at 3 am or finishes 12 midnight & I am mindful of other's sleep. If I am home, I prefer to cook or sleep and see my friends . I am happy to have a chat but respect others privacy. Also I have always been upfront with my rent.
Mature, quiet, friendly, independent, positive and professional female with a pure bred outside female desexed cat that won't bother anyone at all and is extremely clean. Looking for considerate, responsible roomie who works and is tidy, caring and respectful. Call me anytime for a chat. Annie
I'm neat and keep to myself, but I'd like to be able to get along with a housemate. I work full time at North Lakes as a travel agent, so I'm pretty much out of the house between 8am and 6pm. I also do go away occasionally, but I'll keep up with rent. I haven't lived out of home before, but I'm neat and organised. I'm happy to move whenever something gets worked out :)
I am a friendly, reliable and quiet person. I am 23 years old and work casually and I am also a student of Childcare. I am a non smoker, non drinker, not into parties and keep to myself. I have a 5 year old indoor cat who sleeps most of the day. If I am not studying or working, I am visiting my family or doing my own thing. I am clean, friendly and responsible. I am looking for a place anywhere in the suburbs I have listed or surrounding suburbs.
I'm easy to get along with, reliable and friendly. I work early and usually hit the gym in the afternoon. I like to cook and I'm used to living with others and keeping common areas clean and tidy. In a housemate I want a person I enjoy having a yarn with and sharing a meal and/or some drinks with every now and then.
Trustworthy, honest, clean living, non-smoker. Enjoy cooking, socialising. Relocated from Darwin NT, after 50 years & working 22 years for State Government. Working full time Federal Government. Enjoy walking, swimming, going to the gym.
I'm respectful, quiet and I keep to myself when I'm home. I dont mind a good chat and drink, I'm clean and wash up after myself, and I dont mind mowing if the lawns need to be looked after. I have a currently 6 month old kitten named Tobias, and he's my best mate. Well behaved, desexed, toilet trained and a playful sweet heart, he's sure to not cause a fuss. He is a strictly inside cat unless taken for walks. He loves his towers, ball games and cuddles; he isn't one to scratch up curtains and fly screens as he has a scratcher and he knows better. I work at Carseldine Centre part time and I'll be moving from Woody Point. I enjoy reading, xbox and online gaming, walks with my boy, music, road trips, movies, clubbing and pubbing, and regularly seeing the people I love. I also smoke but I prefer not indoors. I dont appreciate passive aggression so if there's an issue with me, let me know like I'll do with you, so we can live together comfortably and on the same page. I do my best to be considerate, as I would like to be treated how I treat others. I want nothing but a bit of fun, peace and stability, to have a home pad I feel happy coming back to and where my boy is safe while I'm not home.
I am a tidy person, mature, keep to myself & respect others. I am also reliable and prompt when it comes to finances I am Just looking for a safe place to lay my head while away working from my family. Hi people! I'm a 27 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious and reliable but most of all fun to be around over a beer, buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! Oh, I'm also well travelled having lived independently between New York and Washington DC for a year and I'd like to think I'm good at home cooking ... just look at Karl Stefanovic! If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm a clean person to live with, respectful of my other housemates. Usually quiet unless I'm playing my guitar. My TV I keep in my room I listen to with wireless headphones. I'm single, do kickboxing, work in warehousing, don't have any pets but I love dogs so happy to live with dogs. Honestly think I prefer living with females. Less arguments, dudes I've live with we do nohing but argue over who hasn't does their fair share of cleaning.
I like my own space, but like to have a chat when others available. Looking for a clean and quiet house. Maximum number of people would be 3 or less including me. Need off street parking, a room with an A/C possibly. Not looking a party house. Working full time in the city. Happy to pay upto $250 for a good accommodation. Would consider all options, even renting two small rooms, so I can use the second room for study, TV and to store some of my boxes if its ok with you.
Hi, I'm an active person looking for people to team up with. I work casual hours. Sociable and easy to get along with. Always up for some conversation or activities. I'm clean around the house, cook food a lot and am a social drinker.
I AM IN URGENT NEED OF A ROOM AS MY LEASE IS UP AND I AM COUCH SURFING. Hi, my name is Katrina I will be honest with all potential flat and housemates, from the start. I am a single woman in her forties who is beginning her life again after the end of a long-term relationship and raising her family, ( my children are 19, 20 and 24 this year and all live out of home), so I have no dependents nor a significant other in my life. I have recently graduated and I am looking for work to start my exciting new career. I am looking to move into a flat/room asap as my lease is up on good friday and if i do not have a place before than I will be staying at my ex's house. As a flat/housemate I would be great to live with for the following reasons * I am a neat and tidy person who never backs away from doing her share of the housework and chores. * I love animals, (except for snakes and spiders) so would look after any pets that are at any future residence. ( I do not have any pets of my own). * I am quiet so there would be no late night parties. * I pay bills and rent on time * I can cook and it is edible My negative points are * That I am a smoker who has cut down from a packet of smokes a day to about ten cigarette's a day. I do not smoke inside houses and have not since the birth of my eldest child.
Recently started work close to Chermside and am thinking of moving out of home and closer, pending my contract is extended in a few months time. Little bit about me. I'm 22. Graduated from QUT last year in economics & finance. Then spent 2 months after that backpacking around Europe. Which made me realize I can get along with living in shared spaces really easily, I quite miss it to be honest! I'm neat & tidy for sure. Very chill. Always in an optimistic mood ... Always looking on the bright side. Passionate about Djing and producing music - don't worry though, I have headphones :P. Recently keen on trying out yoga & meditation. Ideally I'd love to get to know and become best mates with whoever I live with and sharing the good times over a few beers.
Clean, friendly, relaxed, autonomous type :) I have my own life, however I am usually happy to chat for a short while and prefer a housemate who is easy going as well...definitely not interested in dramas or heavy drinking etc.
I think let's flip the game. The bio is always so generic and a couple of paragraphs can be interpreted so many different ways. Let's message, organise a meet up for coffee (tea lover here) and see if it's a killer dynamic. I'm in no rush to find a place, rather finding the right people. As they say, if the person is where home is, the place won't matter. (Too cheesy?)
Hiya, I'm em, I'm 21, full time singer/songwriter and work 4 days a week as a social media/marketing intern in the city. Not really fussed about location as I get my license in 2 weeks. I have my little cat with me ☺️ Am looking for a lovely home, I'm very clean, pay my rent on time, I am responsible and play my piano almost every night haha so if you don't mind music, and a cat with no tail please shoot me a message ☺️
