Hey I'm Alex, I'm 24 and I'd like to apply for a new place with one or two other people. I'm pretty easy going, tidy, and respectful of space. I like to go out occasionally, I like keeping active, reading, cooking, and boxing. I have staffy, and she's house trained and well behaved. I'm currently studying a diploma in massage therapy and working. Ideally would like to find a place to share with someone open minded, similar to my age and working. I'm up for renting a unit or a house, or applying for a new place anywhere within an hour of travel to the city. I've got all household items, furniture, appliances etc, and unlimited internet. My budget is about $250 a week on my end. Thanks :)
Hey, I'm Jess and I'm 26. I'm a recently graduated writer, currently working two part-time jobs. I will be relocating to Melbourne on the 25th Dec, so I'll be looking for a place to move into from mid January onwards. Please note I have NOT moved yet! Still on the Gold Coast :) I'm easygoing, open-minded, friendly and I love anything to do with the arts. If you're a creative type, we'll definitely get along! Looking for: * An unfurnished room * Rent between $150-190 * Heating (I do not enjoy winter lol) * Internet * Similar age group, around 23-32. * I have very mild asthma so things like burning incense and drowning yourself in perfume can set it off. * Honest, happy, inclusive people who like going out, but value a quiet day, too. * If you have a dog, I love it already :D * I'm up for team-ups, though I only have a TV and bedroom furniture, no appliances like fridge, washing machine etc.

I'm artistic and love decorating, looking for a house/unit - essentials are: a garden, a shed/garage (have art gear for my art business need a place to store), i also have a kitten... Looking for someone who is healthy - non smoker, cooks and eats healthy foods and is interested in spirituality/self development and living an abundant, happy life. I'm a 28yo chick who has spent the last few years studying nursing in Ballarat (so I don't mind the cold and have a fairly good sense of humor) but I am flying into the city life and full time work in Caulfield South. Studying nursing full time hasn't left much time or money for hobbies lately but I'm a bit crafty (think crochet and watercolour painting) and love to ride my mountain bike and head off camping. My most prized item is my guitar that I still can do no more than strum a few on but love no less. I am fully house trained and love the idea of sharing an occasional meal, though neither of my current house-mates can cook so it's not been a thing in this house. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi! We are a group of girls who met in Sydney and have become great friends. We've moved to Melbourne to settle for a few months and would ideally just love to unpack our stuff after living in hostels for 3 months! We range from 21 years of age to 23, and come from England and Northern Ireland. We're all very friendly with great senses of humour and enjoy the odd alcohol beverage, but we also love to stay in and chill out. We can all cook and take pride in being neat and tidy, and are also very respectful of each other and those around us. If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you soon, Samantha, Courtney and Carol
Hi, I work full time in Moorabbin, generally leaving home at 8am getting home after 7pm. I am generally pretty busy catching up with friends and exercising. On the weekends I usually head out with friends, but stay in every now and then. Always up for a chat, but enjoy my personal space. I am a tidy and reliable person. Non smoker, no pets. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me. Ree
Im 21 years old, working full time and part time and studying part time. I'm a quiet person who enjoys time alone so I won't bother you too much! I enjoy hitting up the bars after work (I work on Chapel St) and studying in my downtime. I'm a neat person who loves fashion.
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Clean and tidy, work full time during the week and some weekend work. Happy to be social and have a drink and dinner as a flat but also repect personal space etc. Generally not home weekends and enjoy sports(just getting into kiteboarding), I wakeboard and play soccer. Often out adventuring exploring the city and Vic and go home to NZ a few times a year. Also am a Kiwi so +/- points for that ;)
I'm Melinda and I work as a Nurse. I'm easy going and friendly. Currently looking for a room to rent (incl utility bills)
I am easy going, sociable but independent teacher originally from NZ. Have been flatting for 10 years now, so rest assured I know the drill, i.e. I'm clean, friendly and can pay bills on time. I love to travel, explore Melbourne, meet new people, watch sport, (sometimes play) and read a good book on the beach while drinking a fabulous New Zealand wine.
Hey, We're Bella and Liam, a really friendly couple who are respectful, friendly and easy to get along with. We're desperately looking to move in ASAP, as we need somewhere to commute from to go to work. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks so much, Bella
Hi I'm Griffin, i'm a first year apprentice and from the local area. In my spare time I enjoy watching films, going to the gym, experimental cooking and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for a nice room for me and my cat Odin in the local area.
I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas.
Hey guys! I'm a 26 year-old full-time law student also currently working FT as a barista. Not looking to move right away - probably looking at Feb/March at this stage. Am keen to team up and find a place with probably two more people, preferably similarly aged or find an existing place. Location-wise, I'm somewhat flexible but would love to find somewhere near the beach or potentially north side. Little more about me.. I'm very easy-going and do enjoy my own space and respect that everyone needs their down-time, but also do want to be in a social atmosphere (not a party house though). I love having the occasional wine or two, going to gigs, and getting outdoors. Right now am just really putting the feelers out to see if there's anyone who's not quite ready to make the move yet but want to start getting organised! Or if there's an existing place with someone planning to move out.
Hi there! I am looking for a furnished or unfurnished granny flat in the south east, for between 6-12 months. Happy to share a home or townhouse, but i do like my privacy and will keep to myself... don't mind a chat at times either. Have recently become single, and need a quiet, clean, bright and airy space to live while i sell my property. I live a quiet life, with work taking up most of my time and energy, i am a general manager of a medium sized business located in Clayton, and would like to live within 30 mins drive. Speaking of driving, i hope to have off street parking for my classy (haha) vehicle. Looking to move during January, after the Christmas break.
Hi, I'm a boat upholsterer working at St Kilda and Sandringham marinas. I've been in Brunswick for 7 years and I'm excited about moving south in time for summer! I enjoy sketching and life drawing, hanging at the beach, camping, ping pong, bevs in the sunshine, little bike adventures, the odd boogie and tinkering on projects :)
Hi! I just moved to Melbourne for a new job! I'm super clean, friendly and love to chill out with some netflix, good food or keen to explore some cool pockets of the city! See ya soon!
Hi There. Im looking for a peaceful home near the ocean. Im a very calm person. I meditate 2-3 hrs per day. (I'm a meditation teacher). I'm a positive person and very encouraging with others. I like offering support to people to reach their potential (I have a coaching background). I appreciate a home with a positive vibe - dont appreciate angry house mates. I don't want to be in a home where there is drug use or party animals..Im a good cook and I tend to lean towards vegetarian food with chick peas, kidney beans and plenty of herbs. Im a deep soul so I can engage in a philosophical discussion such as the meaning of life OR I can just be lighthearted and go with the flow. I do have a sense of humour. I dont smoke and would only have 1 glass of red if I was ever asked..I go to the gym 5 days pw so I hope there's an Anytime Fitness near the home!! An air con would be a huge bonus otherwise I could buy one for the coming summer. Im currently on a path to be a classical musician (classical guitarist) and I love learning languages. I appreciate music like Sting, George Benson, Enya.
Im a quality flatmate as I am easy going, enjoy some socialising with flatmates and time to myself, tidy, polite and friendly. I like bike riding/racing in my spare time and try to keep relatively fit/healthy. Do enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evening though. So I'm balanced! I also have a small boston terrier, who is house trained, does not bark and is generally inconspicuous.
Hey! I'm a full-time commerce student at the University of Melbourne, graduating next year. I work part-time to support myself, and my hobbies include cooking, exercise, exploring the outdoors and photography. I love keeping busy and getting out and about! I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work/uni and dinner & drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space. As a housemate, I'm trustworthy, reliable, considerate, and very tidy. Finally, I have a 1 y.o. ragdoll cat - she's 100% housetrained & indoors, and she is such a little charmer! :) She has co-existed with a (big) dog in the past with no issues. Looking for a longer-term stay only (6+ months) and am flexible as to when I move - but early January at latest! Reach out if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
I'm a friendly guy, that's down to earth, clean and tidy and mostly keeps to myself during the week, often away on weekends during the summer. I have a house full of furniture and appliances. So I'm looking at starting a new share house with the correct friendly people. My only condition is that I need a secure garage or shed that is accessible. As I'm a carpenter and have tools, equipment and a large amount of sports equipment.
My name is Kathleen and i am currently finishing off my studies to become a Primary School teacher as well as working part time. I enjoy the outdoors and trying new things. I'm a tidy person who enjoys going out as well as staying in to have a netflix binge.
I like to think that I make a great housemate - I'm quiet, clean and love to cook. As a person, I'm always up for a drink and a chat. I'm interested in business, marketing, economics, tech, science, keeping fit and being social. I'm originally from Geelong, but have been living in Melbourne since uni. Looking to start fresh and meet new people after recently coming out of a long term relationship. Looking for like-minded housemates to have a laugh over Gruen with. I'm looking for a place with air con, heating and dishwasher - no apartments please.
Hey! Im Bryn. Im 24 and work fulltime as a charter pilot at Moorabbin airport. I grew up in the Yarra Valley. Pip, my girlfriend is 25. She is from near Albury. We both share a love for the outdoors, food and a good laugh. We are friendly and respectful people who want to share a house with like minded people. If you're into cooking, craft beers, art, music, plants and gardening, getting outdoors, eating healthy and keeping fit (but can still enjoy chocolate and sitting around watching a movie guilt free) then we will get along great!
Hey I'm 26 years old and I've just returned home after spending the last 2 1/2 years overseas, mainly in London. I work full time as a Carpenter and am looking at moving in closer to my work. Im clean and tidy and also very easy going. I enjoy keeping busy and a social drink or 2 and I like to try and get away on weekends as much as possible
Hi, my name is Britt. I'm a 24 year old female from New Zealand. I've been living in Melbourne since May and have recently accepted a full time job in Sandringham working at a vet clinic so am now looking to move into the area. I'm looking for a fun and tidy place to live with flatmates of a similar age. I'm a chilled out sort of person who enjoys socialising, fitness, and watching a good movie in my downtime.
Respectful, quiet, enjoy cleaning, great cook, love gardening/lawn maintenance. I work nights so you would hardly see me
I think a huge postive aspect of myself is that I'm sure of who I am and what I want out of life. My approach to anything is always positive and always try to see the benefits in any bad circumstance. I'm extremely friendly and compassionate and understand when someone needs their space and alone time. At the same time I'm quite charasmatic and love a good chat. I'm looking for a place where those within it have the same values as mine and there's more of a family environment created as apposed to a housemate mentality.
Hi I'm Sarah. I'm a biomedicine student and I have regular clients in tutoring and child care. I like doing yoga, pottery, running and being social. I also like getting out of town, going down the coast or heading into the bush. I'm friendly, easy-going, respectful and considerate.
I've been a Brighton resident for more than 30 years and work in the technology sector. I'm a keen golfer and skier and enjoy healthy eating, good friends and giving back to society. I’m an active member of Rotary and very easy to get along with. I’m currently looking to move down the coast, and rent/share something smaller in or around the bayside area. Given that I'll be spending a large amount of time down the coast, I'll make an ideal flatmate as I won't be around much!

Hi There, Myself and my partner Sophie, are moving with work from Sydney to Melbourne on December 1st. Sophie is from Scotland and I am from Ireland, we will be moving to Melbourne for the foreseeable future and are looking for somewhere short term for now but possibly waiting further if everything goes well. I love most sports and Sophie loves music. We both enjoy a Sunday roast and a few drinks some weekends. We would like to consider ourselves fairly social and friendly people :) We will be working quite a bit so Monday to Saturday's we are usually rather quiet and unwind with movies after dinner if we are not working late. Ideally we would like to share with another couple who would enjoy a few glasses of wine/beer, board games and some questionable music :-) But we are open to whatever options available and look forward to getting to know more people here in Austraila. Cheers
My girlfriend and I are recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a room in a friendly house share. Both Irish, friendly and outgoing couple. Weekends we like to get out and about and sometimes head beyond the city. Currently staying with my boss down the coast but both keen to move closer to the city.

Hi! I recently moved to Melbourne (from Germany) and started my PhD here which should take me around two to three years. I'm looking for a place that is either in walking distance to Monash's Clayton campus or in a more lively area with good public transport, preferably close to the beach. I'm practically working full-time, sometimes very late, but I do like to go out for dinner and drinks. I'm very much into music and movies but I'm very used to wearing headphones. Besides that, I have a talent for fixing things with mostly great success. Cheers, Hagen
Quiet, sober, well behaved, spend a lot of my spare time riding bike for training and fitness. I have a full complement of house furniture etc in storage, just waiting for a nice 2 bedroom apartment! I work for a top artist studio in Collingwood, used to be a farmer in my younger years, but been in Melbourne now for about 25yrs. I have excellent real estate references from previous leases. Land lord has just re-occupied my most recent place. (P.S. I am NOT a supporter of the LNP!)
Hey! We're two backpacker girls seeking for a place to live in. We're very open-minded, friendly and funny, esp. Pia! We love to go out, not only at night time, but also for day trips in Melbourne and outside. Besides that, we always love to share a decent meal or a chat with you guys, while watching Netflix. :) So if you're looking for two easy-going and a lil' crazy girls, we will be the right flat mates for you. If that sounds good to you, we are looking forward for your message! Cheers
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
Friendly and upbeat person. Up for a chat and sometimes sharing a meal with housemates or likewise happy doing my own thing independently. When I'm not working I like to relax with Pilates, go see friends and family or catch a movie. Looking for a household that is reasonably quiet.

Always striving for holistic health, love listening to entrepreneurial/business podcasts, and making the most of life.
Pretty chill - like some company but also appreciate space. Have been share-housing for some time now. Am keen to team up and find a great place, I have some furniture in storage... but it's time to get it out and start using it!

Heya my names Glennys I'm 21 and I work full time in Fashion Design. Im looking for a nice little Bayside home preferably to share with girls of similar age. Im fun, friendly and socialable but do also like my own time. And im looking to move out as soon as possible xx
Mainly looking for team up - I am wanting to move from South East Suburbs to Bayside area Brighton - Port Melb for a sea and city change. I have a little girl who is 8 that lives with me and we have had housemates on & off over the years. I have a full house of modern furniture & all kitchen amenities, I do like my house to look quiet stylish. Hoping to find someone that is looking for a home to share in those areas and start looking at places with me, I have started looking already but I feel, even though I have a strong rental application that due to the price of houses in these areas my rental application may be weakened on my own. We are super easy going to share with young people who are still (respectably) coming in at 5am on weekends or older people who have a very chilled lifestyle. I do have a little dog who is my daughters very best friend that I need to accommodate for also. About us: I am a professional who works as a financial controller full time, we both snowboard & I wakeboard also, always doing fun adventurous things. My daughter is fairly hilarious and depending on you she will either be your new bestie or she will leave you be, she's a little more grown up than most kids her age. We're not home a lot, go away a fair bit and am always out & about doing things. I am pretty clean, even when things can get a bit untidy you generally don't find much dirt in my house, I am very easy going though and understand not everyone enjoys cleaning as much as I do. The only time you will find this to be untrue is when I am flat out busy and have been popping in home for 5 minute pit stops with no time to clean, but I always still try to be considerate of others.
