I've been living in Melbourne for over 1.5 year. Working part-time and doing an MBA. Easy going, clean that enjoy some drinks.
Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm abit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March. Im very into music and I play guitar, sing and dance. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and have no problems with helping out with stuff (cooking, cleaning etc) I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). I love the beach and anything to do with water and I tend to stick to myself but can also be very social
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
Hi my names Eleni, i'm 22 and i've lived in melbs for 2.5 years originally from tassie, i moved over with work (i'm a retail manager in mens wear) i'm fun, relaxed and outgoing i take pride in where i live apart from my room hehe, i love fashion and clothes. i'm clean and tidy and i'm Greek so i must like to cook (jokes I'm shit i can steam and microwave but i'm 10/10 for menu log) my weekends if i'm not at work i'm heading to chapel street for a couple of drinks and a crazy time. I smoke full time and drink part time but trust me you'll have a good time living with me cause isn't that what life is all about having fun?
Hey, I'm Jess and I'm 26. I'm a recently graduated writer, currently working a part time freelance job. I have just relocated back to Melbourne from the Gold Coast, and am looking for a share house with similar people. I'm easygoing, open-minded, friendly and I love anything to do with the arts. If you're a creative type, we'll definitely get along! Looking for: * An unfurnished bedroom * Rent between $150-190 * Heating * Internet * Similar age group, around 23-32. * I have very mild asthma so things like burning incense and strong perfume sometimes set it off. * Honest, happy, inclusive people who like going out, but value a quiet day, too. * If you have a dog, I love it already :D * Prefer just female roommates, or a house with both girls and guys. * I'm up for team-ups, though I only have a TV and bedroom furniture, no appliances like fridge, washing machine etc.
Andy Female 48 Hi There. I'm looking to share with another like minded flatmate. I have two jobs and am tidy, reliable and like to make my home, my sanctuary. I'm healthy and fit and like to cook and eat "healthy" meals. I have a little baggage - my sweet, little cat, whom I would never consider leaving behind. She is quiet, doesn't scratch furniture and loves a pat. I have a small car, so off street parking would be a bonus, but not essential.
Hi guys! We are two easygoing Italian girls (19 and 24) who are looking for a house/flat to share with someone. We are clean, tidy, sociable. We love chatting and share some meal and, above all, we want to improve our English and meet new people, make new friends. At the moment I'm taking an English course in a college and I'm working full-time as waitress in a restaurant, while my friend comes to Melbourne at the end of january and she is going to look for a job and to study as well.
Hi there, I’m Jess, a mid-twenties woman seeking a new abode to call home for a year, getting back into the health industry professionally after travelling a bit in 2016. I love a good laugh, having great conversations with others about experiences, philosophy, science, systems and nature. I like getting current with my housemates world and am a low maintenance kind of person, humble, clean and respectful of people’s belongings and personal time as well. I like to practice yoga and dancing, am into art platforms such as dancing, documentaries, paintings, sculptures, colour, nature, journalism publications, film and food. Heavy metal music is not my cup of joy personally, but like all other music genre. I am looking to move into a nice private room (whether existing or starting up a share-house) in the inner North and/or inner East suburbs by early Feb. Max budget $180 per week including bills, or some bills. A place that has space to move around in, some greenery, friendly people to co-habitat with that are independent, enjoy establishing good connections with those they interact with, and are considerate of others time, habits and ideas will be suitable. I am open to teaming up with like-minded folks interested in establishing a chill, easy- going environment to live in as well, so message me if you’re searching for a new place also with the suburbs I’ve tagged, and think we’d make a good fit. [I’ve minimal furniture to offer (only bedroom furniture, crockery, a blender and a table) but willing to resourcefully set up a house with others for the things we each require] A bathroom with a separate toilet will be a bonus, including a gas cooker, and a green patch nearby the property, or within it. I also do not have a car, so looking for a place close to PT, 15 minute walk max to a train station. I've share housing experience also and always proactive with paying rent and shared bills on time, and will continue at the next place I move to. Thank you for taking the time to read my description. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting good vibe people, Jess
Hi I'm Brittany! A little about me, I'm 21 studying nutrition and exercise science and also work part time. I like to keep fit and healthy and love the beach! I have lived in shared houses previously and am very clean and tidy and completely respectful of other peoples space and privacy :) I would like to live with people who are like minded and also easy to get along with. I have a flexible move in date and looking for somewhere that is also close to some form of public transport. Thanks Brittany
Gavin, 24 - Working full-time in the Skydive industry. - Easy going, generally quiet but enjoy being social too. - Netflix and Spotify addict. - Very clean, considerate of others and happy to help out with anything around the house (or elsewhere). - Some general interests and hobbies of mine include: cooking, binge-watching netflix shows, creating and maintaining way too many spotify playlists, live music, chilling out at home, skydiving, food, snacks, etc. Currently on holiday in Europe until Jan 30th so my Aus number isn't reachable. Feel free to message me here 👍
Howdy, I am a gentle soul that goes by the name Patrick, and I'm after a reasonably priced house with some likeminded and considerate folk. I've lived in 4 sharehouses over the past 5 years, and all the people I've lived with in that time would describe me as quiet, clean, responsible, and very easy to get along with! Outside the house I work in as many as 4 newsagents/news stands throughout the city, and spend my free time at pub trivia, chilling with friends, or seeing my girlfriend (almost always at her place, I'm not *that* housemate 😉). So I lead a decent life, and tend to keep things quiet at home. Anyways send me a message if you think I'm neat, thanks!
My name is May. I'm a teacher and an artist in my spare time. I'm easygoing, love socialising but also value time to myself. I am tidy and enjoy cooking, yoga, bike riding and being outdoors. I'm looking to live with like-minded people in a positive household.
Hello future housemates! :) We are a chilled musical couple from the Mornington peninsula! We're keen to live closer to the city but not too far from a beach. Both of us are considerate housemates and enjoy good company. We like having a steady income as well as enough time to play music, practise yoga and painting or just chill out :) Ultimately, we would prefer that the rent is reasonably cheap and the living environment/housemates are relaxed. Please let us know if you have anything available! :)
Hi I'm very cruisey , honest , outgoing get along well with others , great cook 👍, and likes to mingle but also likes time alone .... I work in the medical field , love to travel , and I'm no couch spud ...
Clean, tidy, young professional couple looking for a short term room to rent. Both working in Melbourne. Non - smokers. Would prefer ensuite.
Hi, My name is Devina. I come from Indonesia and I will start work in Melbourne from Jan 16th, 2017. Im easy going, happy, and responsible. I will work as a lighting designer around Dingley Village. I like to hang out, eating and cooking, going to art exhibition and Museum, and also travelling and exploring new stuff.
Hey we're Bella and Liam, from the UK and we've recently moved to Melbourne. We're looking for a place in the above areas to move into some time early January for anything from 2-6 months. PlEASE NO OTHER AREAS... as we want to stay away from the hectic busy city but still be close enough to jump on the tram. We're really easy going people who are up for a laugh and like to keep busy an active, but come home to a relaxed house. So we're not really looking for a party house as we're both working, but we don't mind a cheeky few. We're interested in team ups, so if you too would like to live in the listed areas let me know and we can arrange something. ✌🏼️ Bella 🙃
I'm an easy-going third year Monash psychology student who loves sharing a meal and a drink or two with fellow flatmates. I do have a couple of well-received dishes which I love to cook for people. I'm also quite enthusiastic about movie nights. I come with a hard drive full of TV shows. What makes me a truly good flatmate is that I went to boarding school so I've been living communally for like 5 years now and am very considerate of other people's space and things. I'm also very good at cleaning and very much willing to do chores. I do come with a car and I am happy to use it in the name of food/ take-out. I can sometimes be a bit of hermit but that can easily be coaxed out of me if need be. One of my requirements is that I prefer to be with people who aren't excessively loud on school nights.
Full time nurse. I am clean, quite and respectful of others space. New to Melbourne. Made in NZ :) I enjoy exercise, eating lol and like to have a social drink every now and then. Relaxed and easy going.
My Names Jason and i'm an outgoing friendly fun guy, looking for a double room to rent or some other housemates to rent a place with. Im respectful and considerate of other peoples space and like to keep the home as a tidy an comfortable environment. My crazy clubbing days are behind me and i tend to see home as somewhat of a sanctuary, although i do like the energy and noise living with people provides. Im pretty outgoing and hobbies include hiking, climbing, socialising and hitting the beach after work for a relaxing swim.
I am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne and looking for a wonderful house to live in! I am a sociable but quiet person. I am looking for a room in a house that is friendly and fun to live in. I can cook well so that's a plus! Preferably looking for an all female house
Hi guys, I'm viewing this property week of 9/1. Message me if you are interested in moving in if application successful. Take a look at this property on www.domain.com.au: RECENTLY RENOVATED HOME NEAR THE BEACH 1/308 Hampton Street, Hampton http://www.domain.com.au/11047896 ___________________ I'm very easy going, love cleaning, gardening, meditation for me, like my down time but also love a chat and a few drinks. I have a house full of furniture, minus washing machine. Though this can stay in storage if moving into fully furnished home. Get out and about with friends, I'm more of dinner and a bar so you can hear yourself speak, so am not out every weekend till the birds start chirping, though in saying that I still enjoy and can do it once in awhile! Though don't mind still living with people that do as long as we are all mindful of each other. A team up house would be great also, would be able to bring my lovely house items out of storage or if you have a room available that's ok too. I have a cool ridgeback x male dog called Bodhi. 12 years old so a gentleman that likes to lie around waiting to be walked. He's happy inside or outside the during day. Though is inside at night. He gets on well with cats and dogs. He is very very patient. Have a wonderful day and hope to hear from you soon! Vanessa & Bodhi
Hey Hey, My name's Craig, Uk born and for the past 8 years (in the uk) I've been living and traveling with awesome Aussies and Kiwis and decided its time to come see this beautiful country for myself. I'm social and great at meeting new people. I'm keen for quiet nights in or group nights out, I've lived in a shared house for the last 5 years so I know whats the go when it comes to everyone getting along and pulling there weight. Ideally looking for my own room in a shared house but will consider other options, and I've decided to settle Melbourne as its close to a lot of the friends I've made when they visited the UK. I have work lined up in the new year but for now I'm enjoying the holiday season as I hope you are too! I love life but I'm cool about it haha Look forward to hearing from you Craig
Hi all, I have been relocated from Sydney to Melbourne due to work and it's my first time living here, so I pretty much don't know much about Melbourne. I can tell you i will be busy most of the day, start early and finish around 4 ish... I'm pretty relaxed, like the occasional drink. Would like to live close to a place which can offers me good cafes, good supermarkets and a gym. Cheers,
**Moving late Feb at the earliest** I'm the most clean and tidy housemate you will ever have. I like to cook, but I'm not very good! I'm on a weight loss and fitness journey at the moment so it'd be cool if we could gym together. Introverted af. Always up for Netflix and a drink and not into clubbing every week. I mostly work evenings too. I love seeing love bands, my favourite is Karnivool. I'm finishing up my last unit of my bachelor of science at Monash and working a Dan Murphy's (SWEET SWEET DISCOUNTS). Max budget is including bills. Also looking for: - Carspace - Housemates around my own age - Private laundry facilities - Private balcony or yard area - Ensuite bathroom if possible - Housemates that are chill with overnight guests I have lived on my own before and so have a house full of stuff, so teaming up is the best option for me. However if I find a great room, I'm sure I can downsize.
Hey Guys! I'm moving over from Perth on the weekend of the 20th Jan, and starting work on the 23rd. I'm looking to move in to a cosy place that I can settle into reasonably long term and call home. I'm friendly, social and somewhat outgoing- I'd love to enjoy an occasional wine and chat with you, but during the week I like to keep pretty low key. I love jogging, yoga, hiking and I've been learning to climb, so it's a massive bonus if you want to learn with me! Give me a message if you want to know anything more! :)
We are two females from Ireland moving to Melbourne in January, looking for 2 separate rooms in a preferably furnished house. We are friendly, social and have lived in shared accommodation for the last 3/4 years. We will be looking for full time employment.
Hi guys! I'm Mel, I'm 28 years old and working full-time in mental health. I am going back to uni next year to do my Masters, so looking for somewhere not too far from public transport. I'm a laid-back, friendly person, and I enjoy living in a harmonious, clean environment. I like all the usual things; live gigs and music, going out, travelling, markets and cider. I enjoy living with a friendly group of people, and socialising with them without treading on their toes. I like to have my own space from time to time, as I'm sure most people do, and I'm not looking for a overly crazy party house. Looking for an unfurnished room. I have some other furniture (lounge, armchair and fridge) so ideally looking for somewhere with some space.
Hi! I just moved to Melbourne for a new job! I'm super clean, friendly and love to chill out with some netflix, good food or keen to explore some cool pockets of the city! See ya soon!
Friendly, happy, relaxed 29 year old who loves all things yoga, travelling and having my feet in the sand. I like to lead a balanced, healthy lifestyle and I feel this is reflected in my easy going and kind nature. I love a good giggle, and being around people who generate the same happy energy. I can't live without my morning coffee, music, and my yoga mat. Pretty much sums up my Saturday mornings. If you are likeminded and interested in creating a house to call home, let me know.
I am a female Health and Safety professional working in the energy sector. I will be studying part time in the evenings at the Uni of Melbourne. I am looking for a non-party house due to my studies. I am clean and respectful of others space, I mind my business but I am not antisocial, I enjoy getting to know people I am living with without intruding on their privacy.
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Looking to move out ASAP. Originally from Perth I have been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years and am currently studying full time at uni. I am a sociable person who loves going out for dinner and drinks but I also value my personal space and am very respectful. Looking for team ups for a townhouse or house preferably. If you think we'd get along send me a message!
Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. I currently live by the beach in Brighton and have become accustomed to that lifestyle. I'm fully employed, neat, and come with a great DVD/blu-ray collection and huge smart TV. I've had Bonnie for over a year and she is the best creature ever to have lived on the Earth. She's amazingly low-maintenance, doesn't make mess (aside from stealing my underpants) and loves everyone she meets. She's always been an inside dog, but I want a back yard for her.
i am a 53 year old seafarer working casually at present hoping the industry picks up,however i am enjoying the down time to and am well capable of covering rent, bills etc. i would be interested in viewing and meeting as some time at your convenience : zero four zero three six seven nine nine four three regards peter
Hi, I'm Kate, a 29yr old student studying early childhood and primary teaching at Monash. I currently work in sports retail, which helps to pay the bills. I am clean, tidy, honest and relaxed.
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
My name is Karla, I'm 22. I work full time in early childhood which I absolutely love. I'm looking for somewhere closer to work as I've changed positions in the last year and finding the commute a bit too much now. I usually spend most week nights in or seeing friends and family for dinner and enjoy going to gym after work as well. I'm very easy going and enjoy socialising, I'd like to think I'm clean, tidy and respectful too.
I am looking for a place to live closer to uni whilst i complete my bachelor in Criminology. I keep to myself but also love to socialise and have a few drinks. When not studying or at uni, I am working so I wont be around the house too much but I am more than happy to socialise with housemates when I am there. I am very self sufficient and like to live in a clean and happy environment. I look forward to meeting you :)
Very clean, quiet and respectful of your space. I like nice things which means I know how to take care of nice things...including your place! I am from the United States. I came here on holiday and decided to stay :)
Growing up in New Zealand and moving to Melbourne 5 years ago, I couldn't be prouder to call this city home. Being an only child and having my mum always occupied with work, I have spent the last year and a half living on my own whilst completing high school, holding a part-time job and developing a huge passion for the gym, amongst other things. I am extremely tidy, organised, mature, and value my solitude, but I also love meeting new people and am always down for a chat or a bit of banter. Most of the time you will find me lifting weights at the gym, working at my part-time job, catching up with a friend over brunch at some new trendy cafe, or winding down at home - most likely with a tub of ice cream.
Friendly couple that are moving to Melbourne from NZ in mid Feb, Hannah works in QA in the food industry and Aaron is a Chemical Process Engineer. We are looking forward to exploring Melbourne and the surrounding area on weekends and going out for dinner and drinks. Aaron plays hockey and Hannah is looking to play netball in Melbourne. We're looking for a professional household where we can share a glass of wine or beer and a conversation in the evenings but we also like our own space and respect other people's. Aaron and Hannah
I work full time in the Finance industry in the CBD . When I'm not at work, I'm more than likely down at the beach or hanging with mates (low key, not too much of a party animal). I am social in the sense that I will sit outside & enjoy a cider, but at the same time like my own spaces Looking for someone who is chill and goes with the flow! I am fun & bubbly and am everything that you are looking for! Send me a message & we could be potential roomies! :)

Hi there! My name is Heleen, and I am a 30 y/o Dutchie from Amsterdam. I just got in town and will be working at Monash for the coming year, so I'm looking for a nice place to stay! Since I'll be working full time I'm not interested in a party house, but rather a nice home with grown-up ;) flatmates to share friendship, stories & wines, and the occasional dinner. If you can relate please send me a p.m! Heleen
