I am new to Melbourne, and I am looking for a place for next few months or potentially longer. I like to be mostly by myself however with a drink I can be sociable. At the moment most of the time I will be out of the house. I like to cook my own food which usually does not take more than 10 minutes. I like to exercise and listen to music. Also I am a smoker. Any other questions feel free to ask.

So i search for a place which is clean and filled with friendly and respectful people :) Hope to see you :)
Hi, I'm 25 and finished my postgraduate study last year at Melbourne University. I recently started my professional career as an I.T. professional in Melbourne. I'm tidy, easygoing and optimistic. I love outdoor activities and I'm not a partier nor smoker. If you are interested or feel that we could be a good match, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.
Hello! I'm a patisserie student who enjoys baking bread, making desserts, cooking healthy food, jogging, hiking, music. :) Looking for a place with stove + kitchen, will take good care of them. Quiet, neat and a bit goofy at times.
I'm a friendly and tidy engineer looking to team-up with someone to move in together. I am currently looking at 2 bedroom apartments/houses, and so I'm also looking for a flatmate to share it with! Originally from Sydney, I recently moved to Melbourne to be closer to my partner. I’m a professional optical engineer who’s switched from working in my Sydney office to working remotely from home in Melbourne. My spare time is usually spent chilling at home or with friends. I play and compose music and I'm also a science and technology geek! I'm usually tinkering on a project or two, reading books, playing video games etc. I love to cook too, so communal dinners are something I love getting involved in! I like to keep things clean (especially the kitchen), and I also like avoiding house clutter. I'm looking for a friendly, sociable, considerate, and clean person or couple who are interested in moving into a house or apartment. Ideally, arty or geeky like me, who's not averse to hanging out with a beverage on rare occasions, but also respects each other's privacy and personal space. Since I work from home, I will need some space to fit my work desk and equipment.
My name is Patrick and I'm a full time Monash University student. I study at the Caulfield campus and am moving to be closer to Uni. I'm a pretty laid back guy who likes to have fun although my studies and part-time work are my priorities. Ideally i'd be sharing a flat with people similar age/occupation as me but at the end of the day I just need somewhere to live.
Hello I'm Ellen, I'm 24. I'm currently studying health science at Swinburne and I work part-time in accounting. I'm pretty easy going, friendly, and respecting of other people. I clean up after myself and am more than willing to help out in any way. I'm pretty quiet and don't make much noise. I like the usual things like music, watching movies, going for walks, cooking, and coffee with friends.
Single 28 yr old non smoking female, no pets or kids. Quiet, clean, easy to get along with, respectful of other peoples property and privacy. Working full time Monday to Friday as a Pharmacy Assistant. Like to have a social wine with friends/housemates, will happily socialise with those I live but also will respect when privacy is needed. Not a party animal. My kind of party is a 3 hour nap and some retail therapy. Any other questions please feel to ask. I am wanting to move now as I moved from Tasmania 6 weeks ago and only temp boarding. I am looking for a private room, don't mind sharing a bathroom and it needs to be furnished (as I only moved here with no furniture)
I am a really outgoing and sociable french student, I would love to make my super flatmates some french food when i get here. I have lived with flatmates for 4 years now, so I am very clean and respectful of others privacy also. I will work full time but I am always up for a beer or pizza and series with my roomates :)
I'll be moving back to Melbourne in July in order to start my Master's degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). I was in Melbourne for 4 months as part of a working holiday and fell in love with the city, I'm back home in the States for now but can't wait to come back. I've lived in shared flats/houses several times, all through university and as part of my working holiday where I was an au pair and lived with two different families. When not in class or at work, I like running or biking, as well as curling up with a good book or going out for a few drinks.
Hi Everyone, I'm Melissa, Melbourne born and raised! I work in the inner suburbs as an Office Manager 9am to 5.30pm, for an Oil company. I've lived in share houses with friends as well as on my own in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland over the years. I love the outdoors, travelling, photography, time out with friends, live music and keeping fit with pilates, gym, hikes, soon adding boxing and spin classes! I am relocating to be closer to work and always in the city / surrounding suburbs socially. (I can't handle the commute to work by car and back forth socially anymore!) Looking for a private large bedroom in a shared house or apartment, with car parking, whether off or on street. Preferably with housemates that have good energy, sense of humour, drama free and easy going like me, non-smokers, no drugs, no parties at home and no pets. Within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to trams/train station is my preference. I would like housemates that I can have the occasional drink, chat and meal with. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, especially a share place available and you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household. Cheers :)
International fashion student, fluent in English, looking for a place to share in inner South East suburbs, that’s close to the train station, so that it's easy to get to the City (my uni) and Chadstone (where I work) I am looking for a medium to large sized room, as I need enough space for my things. My budget is up to$200 with bills included. Preferably around $185. Please contact me if you think I would fit in or if you have any questions at all.
Hi, we are Jacky and Emily. We are currenty living together as housemates (through flatmates.com funnily enough). Hoping to find a home that accomodates the both of us! Ideally our new home would: - Include all bills & internet with the rent - Be close to the train station and shops (walking distance preferred) - Have space available for parking, because Jacky has a car (on-street or off-street is fine) Jacky Hi, I'm Jacky and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am looking for a home that I would be able to live in long term. Having graduated from Monash University last year and having lived on-campus for the last four years, the experiences of living with a variety of people has made me easygoing and adaptable as a housemate. I am a huge fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, corny jokes and brunches. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long tiring day of work, I am always down for bonding opportunities with my housemates and exchanging some amazing banter. (Brownie points if you like Netflix) On occasion, I will go out for drinks. But I can promise you my nightlife stays outside and I will not bring any party racket home. If I ever have friends over, I will make sure noise levels are kept at a minimum and to ask for permission first. Cleanliness has always been a priority for me and would remain the same in all communal areas. Unfortunately, I do not want to live with smokers. If there is anything else you'd like to know me about me, feel free to send a message! Emily Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a student currently studying costume design and working part-time at Monash University with the Academy of Performing Arts. I work late nights as an usher at the university theatre, so we're looking for a place on the Pakenham/Cranbourne or Frankston lines so that I can get home easily on PTV! I love theatre, sewing, reading, and hanging out with friends watching rubbish telly and movies. I mostly make costumes in my spare time, but I've been known to make the odd made to measure outfit here and there. Who knows, there might be something you'd like that I can make for you!
Hello everyone! I’m a student in Monash University studying Masters of Design. I’m even working part-time. I moved to Melbourne in March last year, currently staying in Richmond. I have a busy schedule on weekdays juggling with university and work. Love to travel, exploring places or just chill at home, Netflix, watch movies on the weekends. A chilled out person with quality cleaning skills. Love to cook.
I am a full time student studying my Masters in Accounting at RMIT. I work part time as an Insurance and Financial consultant. I have lived and worked in New Zealand and USA. Mostly i prefer the quite study time but i make time to catch up for some whiskey and all my favorite TV shows (Black Mirror, GOT, Narcos, Rick and Morty, Cosmos and a lot more), Big fan of Christopher Nolan movies, English premier league and Formula One. Not a great cook but i eat healthy
Howdy friends, My name is Emily, I'm 19 and I'm studying a Bachelor of Management at Deakin in Burwood. My landlord has just given me notice so I'm looking to move into a new place within the upcoming uni break (I *may* possibly find time to move out sooner, so if you really love me let me know and I'll see if I can swing something!) I work Monday-Friday mornings in Hughesdale and could not possibly fill my time with more AFL than I do at present. I play, umpire, watch, and work at Etihad and the MCG so it's pretty full on but I do really love it. If you also love the weird ball sport we will get along splendidly. What I was mainly trying to get at was that I work enough to pay my rent and bills on time (my landlord can attest to that) but now you know a little about my greatest hobby. I'm either looking for an existing sharehouse or to start a new place with similar friends. I can only sign a 6 month lease because all things going well, I'll be taking off end December to the USA for a trimester abroad. I'd potentially be open to resuming a lease at the same place upon return if we get on like a house on fire (pun intended but can we not burn the house down for real that'd be alright). I drive so the place needs to have some element of parking, off street would be dandy but I'm not fussed. I also love PT and convenience so I'd love to be close to a train station/bus route that takes me to work/uni, but I'm good with logistics so I can always sort something. I can't afford more than what I'm paying now, so the most I could go to would be about $200pw including bills (or less excluding). Location doesn't bother me, I have quite a broad scope. The above listed suburbs are a general reference so if you live anywhere in the vicinity of the inner-ish south eastern suburbs please sing out! Keen to find a new joint with a rad fam. Look forward to hearing from you soon xo PS. the pet is a maybe and it's a frog. I haven't gotten her yet, I've been trying to get her for a year now but getting her set up is more expensive than I'd accounted for. She would live in a tank in my room/communal area if allowed and I'd be completely responsible for her. Your pets are fine with me too!
Hello! I am an Analytics Consultant and recently moved to Melbourne. I am from India and am now looking for a place here to call home. As much I love getting out, I also enjoy days that are all about chilling at home and just going with the flow. I like to keep things simple and neat and am currently obsessing over Japanese food and swimming while trying to live a good life.
Hi! We’re respectful, tidy and social. Nat works in events and is from Melbourne. Si works in banking and is from NZ. Both of us are happy fun loving people, and off on adventures a lot. We’d love to have a chat and share a bit more about us. We have a friendly outside cat called Pikelet, she almost looks after herself!
Hello! I'm Ian, I am an architecture student at Monash University and I am also working part-time in the inner-city. Ideally, I'm looking for a private room. I'm not too fussy, but I definitely do prefer to live in a clean environment as I consider myself a tidy person who likes to keep things clean and tidy. I am sociable and would like a sharehouse that feels like home, however I'm not after a party house or somewhere where the current flatmates insist on having dinners together on a regular basis or whatever. That said, I am always more than open for a chat and the occasion meal out or drinks. Either way, I will always respect your privacy. Lastly, I have a pet cat and she's my furbaby. She is super friendly and loves attention and is the cutest kitty in the world :D. She is house trained so you won't have to worry about any mess she'll make. I hope to hear from y'all soon, cheers!
Hey I'm Lena, 26 and work full time in the CBD. I'm looking for a new place to live in the areas listed and surrounding areas- I'm pretty flexible on where I live as long as I have access to public transport and it's safe! I'm flexible with furniture but if there's a bed available that would be a bonus. I plan to stay 6-12months or longer as I have no plans to move around again in the forseeable future. I've had plenty of experience living in shared accommodation including staff accommodation with complete strangers so I can easily adapt and I am pretty easy going. I know how to clean up after myself and respect the privacy of others and always pay rent and bills on time. I like my 'me' time but enjoy coming together with housemates for a movie/games night or just dinner or drinks. I would hope to live with people that will become friends rather than just a housemate. A party house really isn't my thing and I expect anyone I share with to have respect and consideration for others just as the same would be expected from me. I'm a pretty quiet person and love to read, go to art galleries, binge watch netflix, spend too much money at kmart, attempt baking when inspired (usually at Christmas time), wander around the city, laze around listening to music and petting all dogs. I don't have any but I am totally open to pets and would love them like my own! Send me a message if you think I could be a potential housemate/friend!
