I'm 23 and just finishing up my degree. Working part time at the moment, and about to start working full-time at the end of the year. I love to travel and am searching for a place to live in August when I get back from a year in America and Europe. In my spare time I love to go out with friends, do brunch, drink wine, and watch trashy TV. I love animals, especially dogs, and would prefer a pet-friendly house (although I don't have any pets just yet). I am friendly and easygoing, and would love an environment I can relax in but can also have fun with everyone when we feel like it. I'm looking for flatmates to become a little family with seeing as I don't know that many people in Canberra any more. I'd love to either join a current house or start a new house with like-minded people. I'm looking for a preferably mixed-gender house full of people who would be happy to have a chat after work and share some wines over dinner. I also love to bake desserts so would love people who would eat what I bake so I don't end up eating it all myself! Please feel free to send me a message if you'd be interested in living together
I am wanting somewhere to stay that is a self contained, one bedroomed unit or granny flat where I will stay ( mainly Sunday to Thursday) each week. Sometimes my husband will join me. We live in Wagga; I am a professional person, quiet and live in a spotless home in Wagga (our own) so would want a bright and cheerful place with light and off street parking if that was possible. I'll be working in Deakin, ACT.
I'm a 26 professional moving to Canberra from Brisbane in the next couple of weeks to start a new job. Looking for a clean, tidy place ideally sharing with 1 or 2 other females. I am friendly, quiet, considerate, tidy. When I come home, I just want to relax and wind down... so sharing with someone with a generally calm nature like myself would be ideal. Would also love to share a chat and an occasional meal or wine together.
My name is Mike, I'm originally from Toronto, Canada. I've been living in Australia for 4 years and received my Juris Doctor from UC - I graduated at the end of last year. I'm currently working in Kingston and would love to find a place close by. I'm easy going, mostly keep to myself, but don't mind a chat, tidy, respectful, reliable. Just an all round decent guy really haha kidding...but seriously.
Hi ! I'm a full-time professional who's looking to find a place near work. I'm clean and tidy and hope to find someone who's the same. But more than anything else I would like to find someone I get along with. I'm hoping to start a new place. Hopefully with someone with (or a willingness to purchase) a refrigerator and washing machine. I should have everything else (TV, couch, coffee table, dining table etc.)!

Hi, my name is Jamie and I've just moved up to Canberra from Victoria to be a public servant and looking for a place to live. I enjoy reading, comedy and improvisation, maths, music, playing/watching sports and generally doing new things. I've lived in 3 share houses before and never had an issue with any of my previous roommates. If you would like to know more about me, get in touch.
I am looking for short term accommodation between July and August. I am currently working at the New Zealand High Commission part time and returning to New Zealand in September where I will be working for the New Zealand Ministry of Defence. I just finished my masters in strategic studies at ANU. I consider myself fairly social, but I do like to have a relaxing space to come home to. I love cooking - especially pizza and Italian food. I consider myself tidy and relaxed. I wish I could have a cat or a dog so if you have one I will treat them as though they are one of my own.
My name is Bella, I'm 22 and I currently work full time in a consulting firm in Fyshwick. I love to cook, am clean, and love to socialise, but can understand if people need their own space. I am in need of somewhere new to live in Canberra for me and my fatlord of a cat. I'm trying to see if there were anyone people out there who are happy with living with said fatlord, who would be interested in seeking out a new lease in a pet friendly property. Alternatively, if you have a friendly house with a bedroom than needs filling, please let me know! I'd be happy to live with 1-3 other people, and live anywhere from inner north to weston creek or woden, or queanbeyan. I also have a toilet trained boyfriend who will visit. Hope to hear from you soon!
I am currently cycle touring around Australia (since March) and will be coming back to Canberra in August. I am looking for a place (preferably furnished) in the Inner South as I have put all my furniture in storage. I work full time and am reasonably mature. I can be quiet at times but do also like to be social and enjoy the occasional drink with flatmates. I think I am reasonably clean and neat and would hope for the same with anyone I an sharing with. I'm fairly keen on cycling and a large part of my social life is taken up with that. The only thing I need space for is 3 bicycles (2 of which could probably go in my room). I don't have a car (do all my commuting by bike/walking or car share - so a car space is not an issue for me. Oh and that terrible hair growth on my face goes when I get back from my trip. Having never gone more than 3 days without shaving I was curious to see what would result. :-)
Moving back to Canberra from Sydney for public service work. I am independent, tidy, and considerate of others, having lived in shared accommodation my whole adult life. I like having a good convo, watching lifestyle tele, or sharing a laugh or listening to music, and being generally excited about looking forward to going out and doing things. I also look to keep fit, and eat well. I don't usually cook elaborate food, but open to trying. I am looking to move fairly soon, by around end June, and would prefer living in inner suburbs. If you have a place in a house, or want to team up to get one to share, let me know.
I'm east to get along with and have a lot of different interests. Love playing sport, going for trail walks, morning coffees, good chats & learning about different things. Although I'm a crap cook I'm trying to get better, and have to admit I'm pretty bummed about the lack of surfing opportunities in Canberra, but aiming to make up for it with the odd weekend trip to Perisha! I work in R&D management and have to relocate to Canberra from Perth for a new job. Ideally looking for a 2 x 2 to share, but feel free to msg me if you're interested in a bigger share place. Cheers!
My name Samantha. I'm looking to share with friendly respectful, creative people such as myself. I am aiming to live in the inner suburbs of Canberra, but, I'm flexible on that. I do have 2 older and wiser house trained cats who would like to spend their days living outside in the sunshine and their nights cuddled up in bed. Much like their owner. I love to cook, as much as I like eating good food, and draw my inspiration from my travels. I'm looking for a home to settle, so I hope your room is available ? Or you are scoping to set up a place? On My Ultimate wish list is a lock up garage : ) Please Text me if you have a room. P.s I'm open to negotiations on price, however I have a budget that ranges, relative to storage availability. My options are : Either Shared housing with lock up storage garage. Or setting up a place with someone. In the latter case I won't need a lock up garage. - I have lots of furniture in storage that can be pulled out to set up a place. Kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery... the lot!! If anyone is interested in setting up a place with me? - I have lived with housemates in share house before and am house trained and Domesticated. Not interested in party houses or drugs at all. - Happy to share cooking on alternate nights ... or not . Pretty easygoing as busy lifestyle often dictates decisions on the fly. - About to start studying part time and work casually. I'm Seeking to share with someone who is open to the world, good humoured and doesn't mind the odd night watching TV or Movies. -
I'm moving back to Canberra for work after 9 months in Sydney. I'll be working in Deakin Mon-Fri. I can cook, I can clean and I like wine. I enjoy living in a busy house - I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer close to the city, don't mind North or South. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!
I moved to Canberra from Perth earlier this year to work for the public service. My current lease runs out at the end of July so I'm looking for a nice, homely apartment, townhouse or unit within 15 minutes of the city. Looking for a place with 1 or 2 housemates who are clean and respectful of privacy, but like to cook, watch movies, and hang out together sometimes! Please contact me if you are looking for someone to move in from mid July :)
I consider myself to be clean, honest, considerate, courteous, responsible, capable, non judgemental and mature for my age. I get on well and feel comfortable with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I enjoy both my own time to rest and recharge as well as socialising when possible. I have been fortunate enough to secure an apprenticeship at the place I wished to work at near the Kingston foreshore. My job and its location are excellent as are my co-workers. We get on very well and like to get together and socialise occasionally. So I am happy, content, easy going and focused on my job and future. I just need to be able to find a place to share with like minded people, much closer to work, as soon as possible, in order to avoid the 3hr per day commute that has plagued me for the last 11 months (and my life would be almost perfect).
