Hi, my name is Neil. I'm a young civil engineer working in the consulting industry. I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney because of my new work which will start this coming October. I am friendly and enjoy the company of others but I respect the personal space and privacy of my housemates. I'd say I'm a well organized person so you can expect me to keep things tidy around the house. I like to engage in sports and other physical activities such as boxing/mma. I used to play in a band when I was younger, so expect to see a guitar or two in my room. :)
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD, so he would come to stay maybe twice each month. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
Canberran born and bred. Have been living overseas for the past 2.5 years and just returned. Full time nurse and part time yoga teacher. I'll give you free health advice and stretches. On weekends I'm usually away or hurtling around Canberra.
Easy going, respect others, clean and tidy. Study and work full time. Cooking, chats, socializing, languages, other cultures, quite time (me time your time) Flexible on rent and areas. Ideally looking to team up with another one person, I have furniture and can be used in the house. Flick me a message if you have any questions
I love making a place my home. Having lived in every state of Australia except SA, as a homeowner, renter or housesitter, I'm pretty good at taking care of a place. I have also been an Airbnb/Stayz host on K'gari, QLD. Since 2011 I've done a lot of housesitting, including overseas, and have many testimonials to reassure you that your place will be in good hands. I'm currently working full time in Canberra.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
I am a french student who found an internship in an architecture agency in Canberra and I want to find a room in a friendly shared house/apartment where I will find roommate to hang out and to talk/drink beer. I am a respectful girl, curious and I like going out. I want to see a part of the country and practice english.
I'm 27 and work in the public sector. I'm from Sydney and recently moved to Canberra. I'm pretty laid-back and tidy. I enjoy watching Netflix after work to unwind. Always up for socializing but also respectful of personal space.
Hola :) My name is Taya and I'm a 29 year old public servant. I'm originally from Newcastle and moved down to Canberra a couple of years ago for work. Although I miss the beach a lot, I am slowly getting used to Canberra. I have been renting with a friend since moving down here, however, it's time to move on and expand my social circle. I work shift work at the moment but hopefully not forever. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to cafes, walking around the lake and of course, the odd wine or two.
I'm a friendly housemate who likes playing sport, good chat and I'm pretty partial to skiing in the winter and sitting outside with a G and T in the summer. I have lived in share houses for a long time and do the following good stuff: pay rent on time, do dishes and mop the kitchen floor, and am respectful of everyone's need to sleep. I work in the APS and ideally looking for a place with other young professionals/ post-grad students who want to live with social and considerate people.
Originally from a small farming community in the Riverina, I am a skin and laser specialist working for a Plastic Surgeon in Deakin. I am easy going, clean and respectful. I love having a laugh, often at myself. I enjoy going to cafes and restaurants but also like cooking at home.
Hey, I'm Elise! I'm twenty, I work in real estate full time. I love to stay fit by going to f45, the occasional night out ( but not a party animal ) and spending time with my family, my family puppy ( English bulldog who can come for visits ) & friends. I'm looking for someone that I can socialise with, while still respecting each other's privacy and space. I'm a clean & tidy person and enjoy cooking yummy meals! I usually go home to see my family most weekends, so I'm hardly home most of the time. Please contact me if you think I'd be great in your place or if you would like to get a place with me!

Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom, for six months. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I'm renovating a house in Orange, so I head back there at least one weekend a month. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
Hello! I'm a friendly full time public servant looking for a new place to call home. I've lived in a few share houses over the years so I'm good with keeping communal areas clean and tidy as well as respecting personal space. I'm easy going, considerate, quite into music, enjoy catching up on a few tv shows (the expanse, and doctor who amongst others) and a good hike. When i'm home I'm generally happy to share a meal, socialise or just shoot the breeze about life and stuff.
Hi! I'm Taylor, I currently live in Adelaide and am moving to Canberra around October for work. I'm a self-sufficient, easy-going person and I love meeting and getting to know new people! On weekends I like going out hiking, grabbing coffee or just going out to try new stuff with friends. To live with, I'm very relaxed and am very accommodating for most situations. I do think a modicum of hygiene and tidiness go a long way but I think that almost goes without saying. I am looking to move in with some people as I will be completely new to Canberra and would like to use the opportunity to meet some new people.
Hello. This is Amy. I work at cafe which is located in Barton. So I need to live near my work place. Not far away from there:) I wanna have my own room but I can share bathroom. I'm very friendly and bright. And I will go to the uni next year. Not calling please Only text:) Thank you:)
I'm a friendly, easygoing, clean and tidy, social housemate with lots of share housing experience. I want to live in a house where housemates enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks together, and are able to have friends over occasionally, but who are also independent and respectful of each other's space. I work in the APS, studied law and arts at uni, and love hiking, yoga, cooking, reading and squash. And more! I like to be busy, to travel and meet new people, and to explore new interests. I'm looking to meet like-minded people to share a house or apartment with, in a location cycling-distance to Barton, and am flexible in my moving dates. Ideally the available room would be large, and preferably with its own bathroom (but not necessarily needed).
Looking for a room, preferably furnished (minimally is fine). Am quiet, clean, sociable and working full-time. May be absent off and on for work out of state or overseas fairly regularly. May need a place for longer term than the period stated. I don't have early access so please message me if you have somewhere appropriate.
Professional city worker. Enjoy my work but also making time for social activities. Originally from mid-north coast NSW. Previously living in Sydney and Melbourne. Now settled in Canberra and enjoying the slower pace and how easy the city is. I like to think I am clean, responsible and considerate of others. Easy going. Enjoy staying fit, gym, cycling, exploring the outdoors and a bit of social dancing. Family and friends in Canberra so I do like to spend time catching up with them. I miss having a dog, so if you have a dog thats a plus. Looking for share accommodation in and around the city. Preferably within a bike ride to work.
Hi! I'm an Automotive Event Manager relocating to Canberra from Sydney for work. I am away a fair bit with work, especially in Spring/Summer and i love my job. Clean, tidy and not too bad a cook. I would like to think I'm pretty hilarious as well. I enjoy a good meal and a glass or wine (or two). Ultimately i'm looking for a home (fully furnished if possible) and an opportunity to make friends as i know only a handful of people in the ACT.
Hi, I am a consultant and my company has asked me to relocate me from Brisbane to Canberra. I am looking for a housemate who enjoys good banter, great food and wine and a bit of dancing. During my downtime I am always up for anything that equals fun and adventure. I am tidy and respectful of other people's space and belongings. If this sounds ok to you let me know 🙂
Hi I'm moving to Canberra for work, I've been in Melbourne and in sharehouses for the past 7 years so I know how to look after a place and be fun to have around. I work in the media, and outside of work I love AFL (playing and watching), reading and Netflix, and catching up with friends. Move in date is flexible in the first few weeks of November.
ive just come back from a few years travelling overseas. I work full time as an electrician, pretty keen on a social house where we can have a drink or share a meal but also quiet time. i'm neat, tidy and respectful - all that.
Fun, easy going guy who likes to cook, bqq, craft beer and red wine. I enjoy games, gaming, cycling and swimming.. ok.. not so much swimming, but being close to a pool would be great! I've travelling to Australia from Scotland to geek out working at Microsoft so looking for some short term accommodation while working in Canberra.
British guy moving to Canberra from London to take up a postdoc at ANU. I'm 30 years old, and I'm a tidy, considerate and sociable housemate. Interests and activities include cycling, hiking, and making/playing music. ANU can put me up in holding accommodation when I arrive on October 8, but I'd like to get on my own two feet as quickly as possible so I'm looking for a place that's available any time between then and Christmas. Up either for joining an existing houseshare or getting one going if there's anyone in a similar situation!
Hi, I'm Sarah and I am a bubbly, active, and curious Australian-American that is looking for other relaxed, friendly people to share a house with. Having spent the past two years living and studying in Europe, I am returning to Australia this month to work full-time in the public sector. I'm clean, relatively well-organised, and I have a penchant for: - Being outdoors and active (long-distance running, yoga, hiking, and snowboarding) - Cooking and enjoying dinner with flatmates and friends (can also go through various bouts of obsessively baking pies) - Traveling and (attempting) to learn different languages - Books and peppermint tea (always with honey) While I am social, I enjoy quiet evenings with good conversations and would ideally like to be close to nature (even if just a balcony to start a tomato garden!). Contact me if you have any other questions and I would be happy to answer them!
I am an easy-going person who had just graduated from ICHM Adelaide and looking for a place to stay in Canberra for 2 years while working in Park Hyatt. I love to socialize with friends and meeting new people all around the world. I love to adventure and love being tidy.
I moved from Perth to Canberra late last year, so my lease is up in early November (willing to double up on rent for a couple of weeks to secure the right place). I am a 22 year old accountant - not with the APS - how different! My interests include cooking and trying to get to Fitness First classes on time and generally spending time in the outdoors. I am friendly and approachable around the house but am also able to provide my housemates with space (we all need it!) at times. I like hanging out with my friends on weekends but usually don't take the party home. As for the house, I'd like my own bathroom (doesn't have to be an ensuite!) and undercover car spot, happy to talk about furniture because I have none at the moment. I'm generally clean and tidy and don't like much clutter around the house - having lived in a couple of share houses I understand the importance of being considerate in communal areas such as cleaning up in a timely manner. Ideally I'd only be sharing with one other person, no couples or pets sorry - just personal preference and allergies. Please let me know if you think I'd be a fit for your house!
I am a young working professional who just moved to Canberra from Sydney, due to some unforeseen circumstances I am unable to keep renting my house and am looking for some medium term accommodation. I am very clean and quiet, If I'm not working I spend most of my time in my room reading. I am a baker so it would be great to stay with someone who wouldn't mind me hijacking the kitchen every now and again - with some tasty profits of course :)
Hi Im a 31 year old female who has a gorgeous 14 month old jack russell cross whippet called Angel. I work full-time as a Claims consultant for life insurance. I am such an easy-going, enthusiastic, bubbly person who loves meeting new people. I am generous, dedicated and giving. I am studying Development Studies at ANU; to be able to help people who don't have the resources to help themselves. I have a passion for bringing out the best in people. I am really looking forward to moving out of student accomodation and living with some cool people that love to chat and hang out together in this gorgeous city.
I wanna move! I'm working full time in Gov, and have heaps of sharehouse experience. I'm social but like my own space, and into sport and fitness, and watching stuff on my big (communal) tv. My place is cold and crap and is being demolished soon. I'm looking for a place inner north or inner south! I'd be most keen to just meet up and get a feel for each other and go from there. Keen to act pretty fast.
Hello! I'm James, a 22 year old student currently living in Melbourne but moving up to Canberra in 2018 for a new role with the AGD. Looking to share an apartment with some other laid-back, clean and friendly people. I'm very clean, organised and respect my roommates. Always up for a laugh, a drink or two or a road trip on weekends. I'm a pretty busy person, will be working full-time and travelling interstate often so won't be hanging around the apartment all day, but do want it to feel like home! I'm looking to either join or start a flatshare in the inner north (around Braddon), inner south (Kingston) or Woden Valley areas of Canberra. I'm only interested in apartments (no houses), preferably recently renovated or built. I'd also prefer to share with young roommates (under-27) and have my own room. Hit me up if you think you might be interested! :)

I will be moving down to Canberra from Sydney to work in the public service in January 2018. I have an easy-going, bubbly personality. Although I will be busy working full-time I also enjoy playing sport when I can, going out to cafes and a bit of Netflix in my spare time. I am a very organised, tidy person looking for preferably a female house mate / house mates. I enjoy my own space but am also very social and love a good chat. I am looking to move in around January of next year. Closer to the CBD would be better, but it doesn't bother me too much.
Hi, I'm Jess :) I will be moving from Brisbane to Canberra at the start of 2018 to work as an APS Graduate (so my move date is flexible- anytime around the new year). I will most likely be working at the airport offices and I don't drive so I would like too live somewhere close to public transport. I am currently finishing my Civil Engineering degree and I have two kitties, Bean and Sprout, who love each other more than they love me. I am happy to share with a couple, as long as the two of you are already living together harmoniously. Mainly looking for a "teamup" where we can all decide on a place to live :)
