I'm an easy going guy who is new to Canberra. Coming from Perth after just graduating from Uni to work as an IT Analyst. I'm definitely more of a "let's have a night in" kinda guy. I enjoy chill nights watching Netflix and playing video games but I am happy to go out every so often to see what Canberra has to offer! I'm an absolute sucker for good food, especially when it's takeaway but I'll be trying to cook more to save money! I try to go to the gym a few times a week, but I'm not very good at motivating myself so having a gym buddy would be sweet as. I'm a bit of a tech nerd too (kinda why I'm working in IT) so if the WiFi goes down, I'm your guy. I'm looking for somewhere to stay (obviously) but I'm also looking to meet new people and to make some new friends! I'm aiming for a pretty chill group of people, not really after anyone who's going to be throwing house parties every weekend... The main thing I'm after is having my own room and bathroom, but my ideal place would also have easy access to public transport, parking for my car, fast internet and is close-ish to the shops and/or a gym. I've never lived with flatmates before but I'm genuinely keen to give it a try! Thanks!
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for a graduate job. Looking for a place to live near Forrest. I like my alone time, but I also like to get out and explore on the weekends. Would prefer to live with someone who is not going to host wild parties every weekend :)
Hey there, I am a 23 year old from Brisbane who is moving to Canberra in January to start a graduate Job. I like to think that I'm an easy-going guy - I love a chat, but I can also give you plenty of space if that's what you're after. I am tidy, respectful, and most importantly, I am punctual with my rent payments. I am pretty flexible on the rent period and the move date - so long as it's around mid-early January.
Hey 😊 I'm Chris and I'm 26 and work full-time in finance. I'm easy going and outgoing, pretty clean and handy around the house. Some things I love include: coffee, wine, movies, the beach, hiking, sailing, reading, hanging with mates, cooking & eating food - just to name a few.
Hi, I am a young professional looking for accommodation for 6 months from mid-Jan to mid-Jul 2019 in Canberra. Very clean and tidy, easy going and looking to explore Canberra. In my time away from my home town Melbourne, I will be looking to rent out my own home, so I understand the value of finding a tenant who can look after a place like it's their own.
Christy and I are early healthcare professionals finally starting our career! We are keen to get started in Canberra come 2019 and finally make a difference. We are looking for another housemate(s) and separate rooms. Both of us are clean and laidback but are always up for dinner or a conversation! With that being said, we do respect the privacy of others as we like our own time to ourselves as well. We are not a couple but friends from Sydney. We met each other while we were studying at the Unversity of Sydney. Our budget is 250/week each and hope that we can find somewhere conveniently located near Westfield Woden and Canberra Hospital.
I am from Thailand. I have been awarded a full scholarship to study abroad and am attending a postgraduate program in biological science at ANU next year. I am kind of shy but always nice to make new friends. I love to learn new things and share experiences with other people. I love travelling and outdoor activities like hiking and diving. I enjoy watching fantasy movies or TV series, reading young adult literatures and listening to various kinds of music in my free time. My cooking skill is poor but I am trying. I am looking for a furnished, quiet room.
Hey, I'm an easy going, clean, quiet guy working full-time as an engineer and looking for a room to stay in for at least 4+ months. Moved to Canberra from Sydney roughly 2 years ago. I usually leave early for work and if I'm not out rock climbing, I'm always up for a chat and a beer.
Hi, I'm Tyler! I finished my uni studies this year (Psyc and Commerce) and am moving to Canberra for a grad role at the APS in February 2019. Last year's grads have told me the rental market gets real rough closer to Feb, so happy to start looking a little earlier to make things easier! I've lived out of home for the last year, and am a tidy housemate. I spend my off time reading and playing keyboard (I can plug in headphones so I'm not a nuisance). I'm occasionally active, riding my pushbike or going for a run or hike. I'm social and up for a chat, board games and cards but also enjoy time on my own. My gf currently works in Sydney so I'll commute up there some weekends. 1-2 others would be preferable with a private bathroom but that's not super necessary. I'm looking near the Parliamentary Triangle to make the work commute easier but am unsure which suburbs are best, so I'm pretty flexible with location! Please don't hesitate to get in touch!
I'm a full time IT guy in the public sector who has being in Canberra for about a year now. I'm pretty out and about socially but am also fond of chilling out in my room after work or having a quiet dinner and board game/TV night with friends. A few of the things I have being enjoying in Canberra is going hiking and picnicking in the national parks, I'll basically live at the snow once the season is back in and otherwise enjoy the occasional weekend down at the coast in the warmer part of the year. One of my current hobbies is seeing how much chocolate I can cram into various baked goods. I like to keep a tidy house and am looking for people who also enjoy tidiness as well as a healthy mix of sociability and privacy :)
I'm easy going and social. I work relatively long hours but enjoy a drink and a chat to unwind. I'm active with commitments most evenings and some mornings. I'm returning to Canberra after living abroad for three years.
Hi! I'm a 29 year old (Northern) Territory raised guy working full time and have been living in Canberra for 6 years. I'm an easy going person, clean and fairly tidy looking for like minded individuals to share a home as my old navy mates have been posted away and I need to find somewhere new. I enjoy socializing but also enjoy me time and will respect others in return, I am a smoker however not in or around the property. I like movies and most other forms of entertainment, cooking then testing the results on willing volunteers, or conversation over a glass of red. WHAT I CAN BRING: I've got furniture for my room however a pre-furnished room is fine, In addition if you need extra furniture, kitchen appliances, utensils etc let me know as I have most of it in storage. If you'd like to know more let me know, happy to chat or meet over a coffee, I am also happy to provide references.
Hi! I'm an APS grad next year and have started working full time early. I love going to bars and museums and am happy to have a wine and watch tv together. I love reading and going for walks. I like my own space but am also happy to hang out. I've lived in Canberra for three years so can show you around! I'm flexible with move in dates!
Currently graduated from ANU, looking for work and a place to live as I have to move out of my student accommodation by the end of January. I am neat, quiet and keep to myself and would prefer mature respectful roommates.
Hi all, I'm a 30 y/o male public servant. I’m originally from Perth, but have been living in Canberra continuously since Feb 2017. I'm a friendly, reliable, and tidy individual. I like to read, keep fit and active. I'm also an able hand about the place (or at least I think so). I cook, clean, sew and craft (when I have the time). I'm more than happy to answer any questions, you might have. Regards, Michael
Public servant, coffee enthusiast and amateur beat-maker. I like to think I'm good at snowboarding (I mean, I can turn, that means good, right?) and can also read a mean book. I'm looking for a chill house that's also social!
Howdy future roommate(s) :-). It looks like i'm yet another graduate moving to Canberra in Jan/Feb for work lol. There are so many of us. I was originally looking to rent something for myself... but so expensive right!!! So i'm moving up from Melbourne and hoping to find some awesome, like minding housemate to either move in with or get together and rent a new place with. So a little about me... I'm 31 and starting a Grad position with Department of Defence in early February. I studied International Relations in Melbourne, but did business and science previously as well. I love the outdoors and often go hiking and get to the snow as often as I can. Good thing i'm moving to Canberra right. I'm pretty active, like to keep fit, but otherwise spend my time outside of work catching up with friends for dinner/drinks, reading, cooking, playing a bit of guitar and finding spontaneous adventures to go on. And I love dogs... so if you have any... points to you haha. I've been living with housemates for the past 3 years so i'm well house trained. I'm super chill at home and more than happy to share a wine and cook a yummy dinner with my housemates, or of course, give people their space and alone time when needed :-). What i'm looking for... Looking for somewhere with a bit of character and something that has a homely feel to it. Hoping to find some roommates that I can be friends with and share the same interests as me. I'm not fussy with age or gender. I have an apartment full of furniture in Melbourne that I can either bring with me or sell and start fresh. Hope to find some peeps soon and start organised life's next adventure :-)
