Hi there, I'm a public servant looking for a place in a friendly, tidy share house. I've just moved over from Adelaide, looking to move in from approx 20th July onwards - I have some flexibility there. I am 31, working full time, 9 - 5. Outside of work I like to eat good food, sometimes attempting to cook some! I bake things. I reluctantly keep fit, running and random classes. I really love to read - a range of things. I'm also teaching myself to play piano - I have a little electric one with headphones, don't worry, no noise for you. I've lived in sharehouses for ages. I'm looking for friendly people, who like a laugh and a wine, or a netflix binge and cuppa with housemates. And also a place that's clean and tidy. I'm not interested in living with cats but would absolutely consider dogs.
Hello, I'm a French primary school teacher just enrolled for two years (renewable) at Telopea park school. I'm looking for a long term rental. I'm easy to live with. I love sports (free wrestling, yoga...), nature, literature, food, wine, sharing with friends and travelling.
I'm a friendly, easygoing and respectful housemate who is moving to Canberra from Victoria this month to study my masters at ANU next semester. I enjoy keeping fit with running, gym or F45, as well as netflix or going out for a drink.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I'm new in Canberra, have lived in the Northern Territory in the last 10 years. Just got a full time job in hospitality industry. Enjoy yoga, reading, hiking and love big fur babies. I can't stay with people who love party, or being noise. Like to hang with people sometimes, and also enjoy my own space.
Hey there! I'm Josef, coming to Canberra for a few months as a visiting researcher at ANU. I am an academic lawyer, originally from the Czech Republic, but have been living for the last few years in Switzerland. I am clean, respectful and am also a cooking enthusiast - that means I love to cook for other people! Apart from that, I love music, listening to it as well as making it (I like to think of myself as an amateur music producer-but don't worry, I will be using headphones:), yoga, cycling and skating. Looking forwards to an amazing time in Canberra!
Hi! I'm a 25 year old, working full-time as an environmental professional. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm environmentally conscious and looking for like-minded people to share a home with. Preferably looking for somewhere with good natural lighting and outdoor spaces. Get in touch if you have a room or want to team up!
I've been in Canberra about a year now and my shorter-term lease is up so I'm looking for a new place to stay. I work at Parliament House so would like somewhere close to the Parliamentary Triangle if possible. I'm easy going, fun to be around, sociable, and flexible. My partying days are a bit behind me but I love to chat and a sneaky beverage wouldn't be terrible. I'm very clean and am usually pretty busy with my job. I'm a decent cook and I'm happy to muck in and share meals, I love my slow cooker and am big into meal prepping so I usually only take up the kitchen a couple of times a week. I enjoy yoga, netflix, gaming, reading, and I'm very into music. I love heavy metal and play both the violin and the shamisen but I promise I won't play them in the house. I also always listen to metal with my headphones on. Due to the security clearances required for my job any person I live with will have to be willing to undergo a (pretty mild) security assessment. You'd just have to be willing to tell me all the travelling you've done in the last 10 years and the places you've lived, not a big deal... unless you're a covert agent...please don't be a covert agent. "Tegan is a great roommate, clean, courteous and not paying me to say this" - my current roommate.
Hi! I'm a 23 year old law graduate from Ghent, Belgium. I'll be interning at the EU Delegation to Australia for 6 months starting early July. I'm therefore looking for a place to stay and am more than happy to share with flatmates. I like soccer, hiking, movies, going out for drinks and look forward to exploring Canberra.
Easy going, sociable but considerate of others privacy. Widely travelled with variety of outdoor interests. I am clean living, and own my own home in WA. Only moved to Canberra recently-medical professional with new job working in Government.
Mid 40s but young at heart. My first contracting gig away from the family. Always good for a coffee and a chat or long periods of silence. Conscious and considerate of others. Clean, tidy without being extreme. Love a glass of wine at the end of the day and plenty of exercise. Not looking for a party house but not looking for “boring” either!
