Single, public servant, looking for a chill LGBTI inclusive abode. I'm house trained, clean, can't cook, can do laundry, and can't dance (but I still do anyway). Introverted but still sociable and respectful of people's space and time. Always up for a chat when I’m burning my dinner. Lil bit of a GAYmer, have came first in Tetris 99 once or twice. Can play a tiny selection of board games and enjoy a good cry. Looking for a home rather than just a place to crash. Send a message if you think I might be a good fit. Look forward to hearing from you.
Public servant, new to Canberra. Good tenancy record (all full bond refunds). Looking for a room, I have a lot (a full house worth) of whitegoods and furniture too.
Hi there, I'm Jay and recently moved to Canberra from Sydney to start up a grad position with the APS. Generally pretty relaxed and love doing outdoor activities particularly hiking, snowboarding, camping and swimming, but also down for more chilled out things like playing video games, board games, having a drink etc. I also like to keep my place clean and tidy (I love vacumming for some reason). Ideally looking for a private room in somewhat close proximity to Civic and/or Brindabella. Feel free to shoot me a message about anything :)
Full Time APS Employee Relocating from Sydney Online Gamer Badminton Player Reads Manga, Watches Anime (bit of a weeb) Likes to keep things clean and tidy Does not like sleeping too late
Hi! My name is Acacia-Rae (Rae is a bit easier). I'm looking for a new cool home for me and my little best mate, Teddy. Teddy is a 1 year old cat who is more like a dog: loves people, plays fetch and thinks humans are pretty alright. He is super well behaved, litter trained and comes with actual real estate agent reference! I'm also pretty well trained and can come with references. I have lived in share houses for the past 10 years, some with siblings, some with mates. I am a smoker, but you'll never catch me doing it inside, and I try to be very conscious of any non-smokers' space. I work in a law firm, full time, as an EA. In my down time I like to hang out with my few mates who haven't left Canberra, go to the gym, read, and kiss Teddy on his silly head. An added bonus, some may say, is that I love gardening (may or may not be good at it) so very keen to help if your home has some greenery. Can't wait to hear from ya, future housemate!
Hey I’m David, I’m studying a finance degree at ANU, currently in my third year now! I also work part time as a manager at Dominos. I’m a very tidy, easy going and open minded person. My hobbies include playing touch, rock climbing and video games. Currently looking for long term residence, preferably 12 mouths :)
Originally from Melbourne, I’m looking for a place that’s fully furnished (including in the room) as I don't have furniture with me. A little about me… • 30yo (big kid at heart) professional male currently studying a Masters part time; • Grew up on the Gold Coast but actually a Melbourne boy; • I've had 10+ years experience living in share housing with both males and females; • I'm clean, tidy and considerate, but also sociable - so we can hang out... or not and do our own thing; and, • My interests include travel, entertainment (reading/tv shows/movies), volleyball and socialising. Let me know if you think it could be a good fit and when's suitable for an inspection - Looking to move in from mid-Feb to early Mar (latest 9-10 Mar).
I would describe myself as respectful of other peoples space, and cable of cleaning up after myself. Emotionally intelligent, good communicator and educated. I have lived in share houses for many years. I'm flexible on the move date. I would prefer a maturer age share house, with reasonably quite people. Seeking a share house where the place is kept relatively clean and there is some sense of community. I pay my bills on time, and have my own lawn mower. I'm very keen on fine art and studying Japanese language.
I'm easy going, full time Marketing Manager working in the innovation environment. Love cooking and sharing a good meal over wine. Respectful of others space as I like for others to respect mine. I can't stand bad odors so I keep the place pretty clean, without exaggerating. Looking for someone with values, non smoker (sorry I'm allergic), no drugs (sorry I hate them). Who is relaxed and social thus can have fun in a healthy way.
I’m currrently working at the National Film and Sound Archive, cataloguing the Australia’s collection of Film, TV, Radio and Music. That, combined with a wealth of useless general knowledge makes me an excellent addition to any pub trivia team. Like to think I’m a reliable housemate; I pay the rent on time and do the washing up without being asked. And I mix cocktails, which I would definitely share with any future housemates. I am though, only looking for a room in the inner suburbs of Canberra as I do not own a car. And my budget is absolutely no more than $250 a week. Thanks everyone, Amy
Heyo! I'm Evi. I'm looking for young girls around my age to share an apartment/house with now until May, and then July until possibly December. (I will be mostly at the Gold Coast May-July) I'm 17 years old and currently studying full time at CIT Reid. I am planning to move to America in late 2020 or early 2021, but this is going to be very difficult for me as I have always been extremely spoilt by my parents and they make it quite hard for me to be independent. That is something I am trying to work on. I think living by myself for a few months would be really good for me, especially with work and school to focus on. Anyway enough with the boring stuff! I'm easy going and pretty shy at first, but I love a good conversation and making friends. I am friendly, quiet, honest, trustworthy and funny (if you find me funny). I love video games, binge watching netflix, animals, fashion, food and music. I'm not into parties and I don't smoke or do drugs. I occasionally drink but don't get totally wasted. I'm not confrontational so I don't worry about me starting fights lol. Hope this sums we up well :)
Hey, I'm Farhan and I'm a grad working in the public sector. I'm pretty laid back and mostly keep to myself but I'm more than happy to share meals, hang out, and help out around the house with housemates. In my spare time I play video games, browse the internet, and binge netflix. It sounds pretty antisocial but I definitely enjoy socialising as well. Looking to find a place to stay for at least a year or so. I'm looking for any place that seems like it would be a good fit and anyone happy to have me. I'm all good with following house rules, I can keep tidy, and I'm sure I can get along with anyone. Let me know if there's a good time for me to inspect a room.
Hey! Recently moved to Canberra from Melbourne and looking for somewhere furnished to call home. I'm 29, female, working full time in events at a local gallery. Enjoy good food and chats over a glass of wine as much as a chilled night in watching netflix or playing board games. Greg is French, 35, and unfortunately not allowed to work at the moment (tourist visa) but keeps himself busy playing guitar, bike riding and searching for craft beer. We're used to sharehouses and know how to clean up after ourselves, respect your privacy and all those good things you want in a housemate. Let's chat! Rachel and Greg
I'm a lawyer (formerly a Canberra local but been overseas) back in Canberra for a 3 month work stint. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses and think I make a good housemate; I'm tidy, quiet and will be working weekdays (some from home) and probably away every other weekend. I am only looking for a place until June/July for now but am flexible about location (preferably inner south side)! I'm interested in either a self-contained apartment/granny flat or a room in a sharehouse with its own bathroom. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi there, My name is Andrew and I am from Victoria. I have recently relocated from Melbourne to Canberra for work (since early January). I am currently renting in Queanbeyan but have a full-time job as in Fyshwick at engineering company which I have been working so far just over a month. I am clean, social and have also been sharing accommodation for quite a few years, having spent the past six years as a student at university. As far as hobbies go, I also enjoy sport, cooking, reading and making new friends. Please let me know if or when can I inspect your property? My Budget is under $300 and I am looking to move in before the end of February. Regards, Andrew.
I'm Margot. I'm 24 and French. I'm an easy going person who likes to clean up after myself, and I respect other tenants privacy and personal space. I'm a non-smoker. I love cooking - I will be happy to cook French meals for my roomate(s) to try. In my free-time I also enjoy working out, swimming, reading and traveling! I was raised in both French and English, I also speak Italian and a little bit of Spanish and German.
Hello! I am a consulting graduate and will be moving to Canberra for my Full Time job. I am a cheerful girl who enjoys binging on TV shows, going hiking and catching up with friends over brunch. I love animals and will not mind if you have one. I am a tidy girl and I like to keep things clean, especially communal areas.
Dear internet, find me a house to live in... Just spent a year in Africa, so naturally thought I’d move to Canberra for a culture shock. Doing the same as everyone else in Canberra, working for (*insert current PM name*). I’m sociable, and will bring berocca when you’re hungover and watching reruns of GOT. Love the outdoors, hate the cold and I play ultimate frisbee (yay!). Keen to ‘team up’ or join an easy going house with a great vibe.
Hi! I'm full-time public servant, and enjoy spending my down-time reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, and learning French. I'm looking for a laid-back sharehouse where we each have our own space but enjoy occasional shared meals and episode of trashy TV with some wine and a cheese plate. I'm tidy, respectful, and considerate of others, hoping to find some roommates with a similar attitude.
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
