Hey I'm Grace, I just graduated from the University of Queensland. I'm moving down from Brisbane in the new year for a full-time position in the APS. I'm pretty relaxed, and I'm also really tidy. I love to cook, being active/outdoors and am down for a chat. Feel free to message me if you've got a room or are wanting to team up for a share house!
Hello my name is Jen, I've recently moved down to Canberra for fulltime work near the city. I'm hoping to find a place from the end of January in the inner North, but am open to any location that is an easy commute to work. I'm a quiet, relaxed and tidy housemate, who enjoys coffee, yoga, a good book, and the beach. Open to sharing with pets, and happy for a room that is furnished or unfurnished. Looking for places that can offer at least a minimum 3 month stay from the end of Jan.
HI. My name is Callum; I'm 26 years old from Perth, WA. I am looking to move to Canberra for a job in the public service. I studied Asian Languages at uni and I love travelling, am an avid hiker, I enjoy the gym and keeping fit, board games, reading and socialising with others. I'm respectful of others and I like to keep clean and tidy. I'm also very easy going and always available for a chat.
Hi, I'm leaving my current place because the landlords have decided to renovate. I'm 31, female, working full time in the public service - which I really enjoy. I've lived in share houses for 10 years - definitely house trained. I'm environmentally conscious = good recycler, lower bills. I love to read fiction, run, bake and spend weekends with friends and family down the coast. I'm looking for a clean, tidy, friendly sharehouse, with lovely people I can trust and get to know and and drink wine with, and then not see for long stretches of time because our busy lives keep us apart. Would be up for house cook ups and movie nights. Love doggos but no cats
I'm a friendly person - clean, quiet, and respectful of others' privacy. Looking to join a household with similar people. Full-time working professional, keen swimmer, and generally up for boardgames or a movie.
Hello, My name is Courtney. I'm 30 and working full time as an aerospace engineer. I currently live in a one-bedroom place, but interested in moving to a 2-3 person share house if I can find the right person/people. I'm open to moving to an established share house, but teaming up to apply for a place together is preferred. Inner-ish north or south ideal, but somewhat flexible with location. I love the outdoors, particularly trail running and hiking. I'm a vegetarian, non-smoker and non-drinker. Happy to live with meat-eaters and drinkers, but not smokers. I do my best to minimise electricity use and waste (especially disposable plastics) and would like to find a similarly environmentally-conscious housemate. I enjoy gardening and grow as much of my own produce as practical. The perfect house or apartment would have a spot in the garden to grow vegetables or a large enough courtyard/balcony to have room for my planter boxes. I already own plenty of furniture (dining table, bookshelves, TV, washing machine, couch, etc.), although the couch has seen better days. I'd also like to have my own bathroom, preferably ensuite. I'm an early-bird, usually getting up at 05:30 for running or swimming before work. I'm a social person, but also a strong introvert, and often need quiet time to recharge after a hectic work day. I do still enjoy having a chat and sharing the odd meal/coffee/movie/outing with my housemate(s). I'd prefer not to have big parties at the house, but I love cooking and having a few friends around for dinner and/or board games once per month or so. I'm a very considerate person and like to keep the place clean and tidy, and would like the same from a housemate. Let me know if you think we'd be a good fit :) Cheers, Courtney.
Hey! I'm a lawyer relocating to Canberra for 12 months for work. Will be working longish hours, but like having a wine after work, hiking and bonding over Netflix / bad reality TV. Ideally looking for a furnished place, but not essential. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my own cat at home in Melbourne, so very open to a place with pets.
I am an undergraduate student, currently working in a hotel for my Industry Placement. I am from Vietnam. Because I am studying hospitality so I am extrovert, friendly and easy-going.
Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
Hey guys! I’m Faraz, 26 and from Adelaide. I’m looking to move to Canberra mid-late January to start full-time work. Ideally looking for 1 or 2 people to team up with and get a 2-3 bedroom apartment around the Kingston area.
I've recently quit my job to go back to uni full time and am doing two postgrad courses. I'm from Victoria but studying at ANU and will be driving back and forth a lot. I won't be in Canberra for at least 13 weeks of the uni year due to rural placements. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that is within 10mins bike ride of ANU or Questacon. I'll be needing a room from early Feb till approx. Nov but am super flexible. I'd prefer furnished if possible. I would be happy for you to AirBnB my room out while I am not around. Also flexible on price but would prefer to spend less than $200 pw (student life 😔) I love science and learning. I also like hiking and dogs. I also like cooking and bad puns. I love travel and have a few trips booked in next year (somehow have to squeeze them in amongst the study!) I don't mind the occasional social drink but not looking for a house full of party animals. I don't smoke and I am very clean. I like to think I'm easy to get along with, and don't mind watching a movie etc with housemates but I'm not expecting to be your best friend. I previously lived in a 4 bedroom house with 5 other people and a 3 bedroom house with 1 other person, and would prefer less housemates if possible. I will be spending a lot of time studying so will need internet access if possible. My boyfriend would be visiting on occasional weekends but wouldn't be staying long term. I've previously had success with flatmates.com.au so hoping to find somewhere again! Any questions, please ask away!
