Hi, I am a 27-year-old female teacher who will be working at a secondary school in Woolwich next January. I am currently sharing a house with an awesome couple in the upper north shore but need to move due to work. I have taught English in the UK in the past. I am hoping to stay with like-minded professionals who are considerate, clean and easy going. I am normally away on weekends because I visit my family down south.
I'm a 44 y/o professional male. Happy for short but prefer long term. Prefer to share with one other or a couple. I like to cook a large variety of food and am keen to pitch in, and I always clean up after myself. Yard work no problem either. I have an Accountancy business and work 10%/90% home / office. I'm easy going and I've been told I have an outgoing personality with good sense of humour. In my spare time I'm doing yoga, ballroom dancing or at the gym or reading/chilling. Prefer around my age, but I really don't care. Males or females ok. Cheers, Rod
Hi there! I'm a 27 year old full-time high school teacher currently looking for a room (preferably with ensuite) to move into in the new year. I have a five year old labrador who is also a qualified pet therapy dog ( visits hospitals and nursing homes on weekends). I'm looking for easy going, friendly and clean housemates.
Currently living in Sydney, born in the country. Very chilled out and easy to get along with. Currently studying at university and also working part time. Extremely clean and tidy
From Adelaide, currently in Ryde and have come to Sydney to work on the construction of the new Sydney Metro as a Project Engineer. During the week will be focused on work, will hit the gym or go to football training but up for a chat with housemates when home. On weekends will like to get out of the house, have a drink and explore what Sydney has to offer. Busy, active and outdoor person who doesn’t mind a bit of banter. Looking for place to stay ideally for next 2 years but flexible starting from a 1 month
Hi I'm Soph, I'm studying at Macquarie university and have a few part time jobs. I am pretty easy going, love to cook and enjoy my fitness. I would love to find some housemates that I could have a few beers/wine with after a long week, and have a netflix binge with every now and then! I am quite social, love the beach and am very clean :) (I am the one on the right of the picture)
Currently at Uni, working part time and looking to move areas. I wouldn't mind living with two flatmates if necessary but one would be ideal. I would also prefer to have a bedroom with an en-suite. I also don't mind teaming up to find a new place that is preferably in or around the areas listed below. Move date can be whenever. If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime.
Hi all, My name is isabella (bel perferably) I'm 23 and have just started working full time and am looking to reduce my travel time and move a bit closer to work. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a bit of banta every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. Am definitely really keen for a team up. Basically I'm hoping to get a couple of people together and get a share house. Seems to be a good (and well slightly cheaper) option. If your keen then maybe we can have a drink and talk it out! Thanks, bel.
I am a really friendly person, I tend to get along quiet well with anyone and my partner is some what similar. We are both extremely hard working and even though I am studying part time I still work a minimum of 37 hours a week, but on average when I work weekends its closer to 45-50. My partner is finalising his apprenticeship as a carpenter and will be fully certified in weeks! What's more, he is extremely useful around the house. I nanny and have a retail job and study a bachelor of science majoring in psychology. We are looking for a granny flat/studio or self contained, conjoined place if it is a house w/ Private kitchen bathroom and bedroom. We are fun and adventurous but we are looking for a place to call home, where we can relax and have time out from the world and save for the future.. :) We have a dog as well, Holly who is extremely well trained and extremely affection with any person or any other dog she meets. We are considering all types of accommodation, but if it was an apartment or unit-style set-up, we would require a small courtyard the least for her.
I am a mother of four who as been living in Canberra for the last year, I work in childcare who has a passion for permaculture and is studying horticulture. I am clean and tidy and like baking and cooking. I enjoy pilates, walking, growing my own food and spending time with my children.
I'm easy going and keen to meet different kinds of people from all over the world. I'm tidy and looking forward to explore the city. I'll be working full time. Always down for a chat and some beer .
I'm a balanced person in general, social but understanding of personal space, tidy but not a control freak, I like going out but not a party animal, etc. I'm easy going, thats all I can say :)
Hi There, I work full-time, and study part-time. I'm very active, social, and love a night in. I'm happy with either furnished or unfurnished, and happy to live with pets.
Looking for a room mate and a new friend. I would like to find a roomie who is fun, reliable, friendly, clean, independent, easy going :) as I am the same. I am looking at starting a new shared apartment only. I am also happy to furnish the apartment, you only need to furnish your room! I do however require parking and would prefer my own bathroom too (main room with ensuite) I'm young at heart, work full time in the hills in HR, attend the gym most mornings or afternoons (sometimes both haha) enjoy spending time with my friends & family.... long lunches, shopping, road trips, the races, the beach, cheeese n wine nights, music ... I enjoy a fun night out as much as a lazy night in with a book or catching up on movies... I'd like to be able not only to be room mates but friends - share a meal, a glass of wine, watch trashy tv and make our new place a home. ... If you think we get along please don't hesitate to send through a message. I am ideally looking at starting a new place only not looking to move into your spare room/established share house - thank you everyone!
I'm clean, easy going, fun to be around, love to laugh and a very considerate house mate. I love to cook, wine and dine. I travel interstate and overseas often on business.
Hi, Im from singapore and i am enrolling into le cordon bleu in Jan 2017. Im able to cook so food will never be a problem:) Im also really clean, chill and easy-going. Plus its pretty easy for me to get along with people.
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, outgoing most of the time though. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something mid to long term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Hei I'm Nathan. Me and my friend (Bayu) plan to move to Sydney on January. We are students and working as part timers. Currently looking for a flat with a friendly and social flatmates. We are easygoing, clean, responsible. Can cook beautiful dishes. Hoping to hear back from you.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm 22, employed full-time in the transport industry and looking for a place in the broader Ryde area. I'm a pretty relaxed, easy-going guy, who enjoys some quiet downtime and can keep to himself, but I'm also quite happy to have a chat and socialise with other housemates. I'm a reasonably clean, tidy person, I do my share of the household duties and can help with basic home-maintenance as required. I have a car I use every day and so will need a pretty reliable parking spot, but this doesnt have to be off-street. I don't have pets and am easy with furnishings - can provide as necessary or if the room is already furnished that's fine too.
I am a young professional who works in finance/accounting. I moved out of home with my similarly aged sister 5 years ago and generally prefer to be out during the day and in during the night. I like to keep my spaces clean and organised, and don't mind trying something new in the kitchen from time to time! I also like to read when I have the time. I am looking for a private room in a house rather than an apartment and it must have it's own bathroom or ensuite. I like to have my personal space but I am looking forward to meeting some interesting people and sharing time with them!
Me and my husband are 31 years, no children. We are looking for a room starting december 31st with wifi and bills included for 300 per week at top. We are a young and nice couple to live with. Quiet, relax, friendly, easy-going, sociable, and enjoy a clean environment. Charly (my husband) will start a masters degree and I am wedding planner. Hope to see good news from you. =D
Hi there! My name is Katie and I'm currently on the look out for a private room in Sydney to move into in late Feb 2017. I'm very much into music, good food (especially finding cute coffee spots), all things vintage and most things chill. I'm usually a bit of a homebug and like to binge watch my favourite YouTubers, make Spotify playlists and or watch a Disney film and when that's not a thing I'm usually cramming in study sessions as I'm currently studying at Macquarie University. I also work in the Sydney CBD and I love what I do. I'm not too fussy with location, as long as I can get to work safely and within a reasonable time. In terms of a move date, I can work with anything within reason and would of course need some time to prepare my things and organise a couple things with my current home. If this is something you might be able to work with, don't be a stranger and please do flick me a message :) Please note: My budget is around $150 p/week.
I'm a business analyst working full time. I will be moving to Sydney at the end of January 2017. I'm easy going, independent and I don't party much. I enjoy Netflix, TV, movies, books and comics.
Neat and tidy, fun people with a very cute and well behaved dog (who is trained for visiting hospitals and clinics). We're looking to live with people who are friendly and like to have a good time but also enjoy times of quiet.
I'm seeking a non-smoking share house with similarly quiet-living, clean and considerate housemate/s. I have a background in arts study and work along with assorted admin roles but am now semi-retired. I'd hope for a home environment with some shared conversations, a sense of goodwill and mutual independence. I have an excellent rental history, secure income and a responsible nature. My entries for move date and length of stay are nominal (as required info) and as such, are flexible.
Hey! I'm Thom and I'm a masters student at Macquarie uni. I'm just about to go into my second year to work on a project with Tassie devils (and hopefully I'll get a chance to go down there and hang out with the little guys :)). I'm originally from Port Macquarie but moved to Sydney in 2013 to study, and I've loved it here ever since. As you might have guessed from what I'm studying, I love animals and the outdoors, so I enjoy bushwalking, playing the odd game of backyard cricket - basically anything that will get me outside. But I'm also a bit of a movie and music buff as well I'm pretty laid-back and easy to get along with, but always make sure I keep on top of everything that I need to. I'm looking for somewhere to stay from the end of January, for at least a year. I'm currently staying in Ryde, but wouldn't mind moving a bit further abroad. And would be ideal to move into a house with a few people :) Thanks!
Looking for a Team-Up / Share in the Northern Suburbs close to a train station. Quiet, unassuming and easy going professional. Employed Full-Time, 9-5 in Sydney City. I like a home that's stress-free with open communication.
Hi My name is Caz, I work full time near Circular Quay, Monday to Friday. I I love animals (especially dogs and happy to do sit) but don't have any, however i am allergic to cats and kids :-). I try and go to the gym regularly before work or at the weekends. Looking for someone to live with who is quiet, clean and tidy that will enjoy company and a chat but also respects ones privacy. I don't smoke, social drinker and am not into parties. I looking for a large private room with extra large closet as i am into fashion, own bathroom and off street parking please, 6 months plus preferably.
I am a calm, quiet and independent person who likes to take things easy and relaxed. I respect the privacy and space of others while also being aware of common courtesy when it comes to living space. I am always willing to communicate anything that needs to be discussed and open to a good living experience.
My name is Aloura and I am 18 years of age. I am currently employed at Dominos Ballina however, I have completed my certificate III in aged care and nursing which is the employment I wish to pursue once I move to Sydney in January 2017. I just recently got accepted into Macquarie University North Ryde to do a Bachelor of Arts with a major in philosophy and minor in sociology and anthropology (my true passion) therefore I am looking for a place of residence that's convenient in terms of commuting back and forth. I am a responsible, independent and tidy person who respects the space of others and enjoys having fun and socializing with good company.
Hi! My aim is to live closer to the city, find a nice bunch of people to home share with. I work full time and love my job, so I'm fairly organised and luckily have healthy habits! I'm a sth American origin but have basically lived in Sydney mostly all my life. You will find me bubbly and social but also will keep to myself when necessary!
My name is Kate (I'm the one on the right in the picture), I'm 30 years old, quite active and busy, friendly, social, love the outdoors and enjoy the company of others who are easy-going and friendly. Although I am quite social I also enjoy my own space from time to time to recoup. I keep a clean and tidy environment, clean up after myself, and also appreciate the same trait in my flatmates. I'm mostly looking for places on the North Shore around Gladesville, Lane Cove, Neutral Bay and Chatswood areas.
My name is Narius, I grew up in Sydney (hills area) and have lived around there for most of my life. Hi! I'm Sam, 31 y/o marketing professional from New Zealand. Moving to Sydney to take a new innovation role from early Jan, and looking for a great place with awesome people to live with! I'm easy going, sociable, clean and respectful, however looking to live with like minded people who enjoy a laugh, a drink or two on the weekends and generally a good time! In my free time I enjoy sports, keeping fit, a good tv series or heading to the beach to work on my non existent tan. Cheers!
Easy-going, down to earth, paying rent on time, enjoying a good laugh, movie night and dinner from time to time with my new flatmate(s)
Hi all! My name is Pete. My girlfriend Bec and I are soon to be moving down to the inner west of Sydney. A bit about me - I am 29 and my girlfriend is 25. I am soon to be working for a federal politician and Bec is awaiting to hear back from a position at the Balmain hospital. We are both very friendly and social, but would also be flexible and respectful to your living arrangements.
I work full time as a radio journalist. I just moved back to Sydney and am looking for a room to rent relatively close to the city. I'm pretty busy, clean and enjoy socialising.
I'm looking for a house that could use a little more lounge furniture or some people interested in starting a new share house. I'm not new to the share house lifestyle and have never had a problem with any of my previous house mates. Happy to live by the share house code, respect! I'm flexible with dates but probably looking soonish. My party days are behind me these days and I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, good eating and keeping active. Excited to meet some new relaxed people!
Hi all! I'm Daniel, and I'm 41 (that went quick) and originally from New Zealand. I'm a creative, and work as a freelance photographer/photography educator with weddings, events, corporate and teaching. Being Freelance means my work hours are varied, and this allows me to do additional finance work for a broker. I'm a people person and am domestically sound and able. I'm relaxed and respectful, clean and tidy, and can pay my bills on time. I do enjoy good convo, but also space to unwind after photographing long weddings. I like to keep fit and spend time in the outdoors. Music is important, as I love noodling around on the guitar and going to gigs. Like all Kiwis I am well travelled and spent a number of years in the UK, and have taken in the sights of Europe, Asia and South America. I can relate to people from all walks of life. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to drop me a line! I Look forward to hearing from you! Dan
Looking to move on Dec 20th 2016. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with ex housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hi! My name is Mark. I'm based inner west and looking to move from my current living arrangements. I am a builder/project manager. I prefer to live with females or a mixed household. I have lived in share-house situations before so I am conscious and respectful of others. Ideally I want to stay in the Rozelle, Drummoyne, Leichhardt, Lilyfield, Annandale, Abbotsford areas. Thanks, Mark
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Now I shoot fitness competitors for a living. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. I have a small 14 yr old small dog Belle. She basically sleeps all day after I walk her in the morn. She loves people and other dogs. I love fitness, go to gym 4-5 x p/w, like the occasional social drink and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day.
I am an easy going, friendly and active person who is social and enjoys sharing a glass of wine and dinner with mates. I enjoy music and currently into Latin dancing( learning), sport and fitness. I love my travel which I try to do once a year. like to keep fit by going for runs(not really gym fan anymore) either mornings before work or In the afternoons. I Am clean, like things to look tidy and respectful of space to others. I work full time, so my weekdays are quite busy however, I like to fill my weekends with social events; visiting family and catching up with friends. I'm an outdoors person ; beach, mountains, long walks/runs, picnics. Although I'm pretty active I equally love my quiet nights after a long days work :). I have lived in Sydney for 25 years and absolutely love the city. Still to explore so much of it. I love meeting new people and learning about their culture, life and interests. I would like to live with someone who enjoys the occasional chat, dinner and company, up for room mate bonding activities and is also considerate of personal space and time.
My name is JP, I moved here from California 4 years ago and have been studying since. I was doing Nursing/Paramedics and now doing my PT course. I am pretty laid back and not up tight. Love a good set of housemates who can have fun and do adventures with or even have house dinners. I liek to gym alot as well and play sports so im pretty active.
I'm a clean, friendly professional guy who doesn't mind socialising but also appreciates some time to do our own thing. I'm an Aussie who had been living in Sydney the past 7 years, qualified chef and just finishing my Paramedics degree (2 weeks left). Looking for 3 months accom before I start a job in the UK. (On that note, happy to help look for a replacement before I go if necessary too). Hoping for something within 10km of central Sydney, looking to move ASAP. I love going to live music, the beach, diving, riding my motorbike and bush walking. Don't mind the occasional drink but am a non-smoker.
Hi! I'm Nicole, I'm 23 and I am currently working as a professional dancer.I've just come back from Europe with three girlfriends and I'm currently living with my family on the central coast. I am constantly driving to and from the city for work and it's taking up too much time and petrol in my life. I am clean, always willing to help out. I enjoy going out and socialising and meeting new people, but also enjoy my own personal space and am always respectful of others space.
I’m a 36yo professional, working as an L&D Manager, which keeps my weeknights low key. I like to make up for the time that I spend at a desk by going for a swim or getting out for a walk/run and catching up with friends on the weekend. I’m looking to rent a room in an apartment/house with one or two other people and, while independent and considerate of people’s need for space, I’m genuinely interested in getting to know the people that I live with; whether through having a chat after work or a meal/drink when our schedules line up. Like most people, I want to feel like I’m part of a home and not staying in a hotel. I'm looking for somewhere not too far from the CBD, with great transport links, as I think that we spend enough time at work and don't want to add to that with a crazy commute. I’m down to earth, respectful and appreciate living in a clean home, so I’m happy to do my share of the housework. Please get in touch if you have any questions or think I’d be a good fit for your home.

Hi there! My name is Elise and I am a recent arrival from the United States on a Working Holiday visa. I fell in love with Sydney and the inner west and am looking to continue living here through February. Before arriving in Australia, I worked as a paralegal and saved up to afford accommodation during my stay--however, I find the best way to meet new people and make friends is to work, so I've been keeping busy with acting and modeling jobs! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to meeting with you!
I am a friendly and out-going professional who works in finance. I love having a good chat over a bottle of wine but also appreciate my downtime and space. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food (when you have an egg allergy you have to get a little creative). I have a little mongrel called Lulu who I adopted from a pound in Wagga 7 years ago - shes is a pretty cool dog. I am clean and considerate, and would love to live with like minded people.
Hey my name is yoko , I'm 23 year old Ive been living in the country for 5 years but now living in Sydney looking to live with lovely housemates I work full time in Putney 5 days a week, I'm a clean and tidy (but not a clean freak)
